Restaurant 't Kleijn Geluck in Wijk 00 Son

This was my first time dining here, and it certainly won't be my last. You're greeted with a card on the table—a small gesture, but you immediately feel welcome. Then we receive a warm welcome from the hostess, who briefly explains their values and discusses the options. In our case, the six-course all-inclusive menu was quite surprising. The dishes were based around various vegetables, presented in different ways. Celery, turnip, radish, broccoli, spinach, and elderflower—not what you'd expect at first, but oh so delicious. The description of these vegetables was also displayed on the table in a sort of fan, so you could read about them at your leisure. The all-inclusive menu includes drinks during the courses. For those who prefer a non-alcoholic option, they offer a wonderful selection: instead of the standard non-alcoholic wine/beer, they offer juices based on the vegetables in the dishes. We can only conclude that we had a wonderful evening with delicious dishes and this restaurant is an absolute must for those who enjoy tasty and surprising dining.

This was our third time at 't Kleijn Geluck, and we had a truly wonderful evening. It seemed like the quality has only improved over the years. Delicious dishes, tasty appetizers, and a variety of sandwiches with toppings. Such a lovely atmosphere and friendly staff. Highly recommended!

The food was delicious! You get our full attention, and everything is explained personally. It's a great idea to add a wine pairing. You'll be served surprising wines. Even if you opt for alcohol-free, they'll serve some lovely, unique drinks. A truly special experience!

At 't kleine Geluck you go on a culinary journey and discovery. In the weekend you eat the surprise menu and that is a real treat. The plates are beautiful and carefully decorated and prepared. Delicious flavors and the service explains what it is. Often with regional products. And on the table you also get a kind of booklet with extra explanation about the ingredients. You can also take that booklet home with you. Really recommended if you like long dining and want to discover something new. Very friendly staff too.

My favourite restaurant. Have been going to 't Kleijn Geluck for years. Amazing food with a lovely story. Always feel so taken care of. It's comfortable and gezzelig. Intricate delicious food with heart and soul poured into it. Eaten at many Michelin and fine dining restaurants in Eindhoven and throughout Europe. Hands down the most heartfelt fijne dining experience I have ever had. Thank you Sanne and Rick for another amazing and unforgettable evening.

Everything about this restaurant is perfect: the atmosphere, the friendly service, the wines, the appetizers, and of course, the food. And all that in our own village! We had a fantastic second day of Christmas there.

Yeah, super. Let me start to report that, hurrah, this restaurant has enough light and not, yes not, the so called cosey darkness. Moreover it is not only a very pleasant restaurant with very friendly owners and staff, but also an excellent one as regards to food. My wife plus daughter and her husband, all vegies, had her n excellent Christmas Eve dinner, Fine local ingredients, such as buffalo butter and a super local beer called Vuurzee Champagnebier 2023 (a must in my opinion), In brief, we all enjoyed and were glad our daughter discovered this fine place, mid village centre just across the town hall. Let me repeat: hurrah

Fantastically delicious food with caring and attentive table service

Rick and Sanne are true entrepreneurs who bring a wealth of creativity and passion to their business and dishes. We had a wonderful meal and thoroughly enjoyed it. Flavor explosions and surprising combinations... we had a fantastic evening.

How wonderful to have such a nice and intimate restaurant in our village, where personal attention and attention to the dishes and experience of local regional products are central. Een verrassing in Son. Zeer creatieve keuken, mooie lokale leveranciers, sfeervol ingericht en een uitstekende bediening voor een redelijke prijs ( € 100 pp). Smaakvolle gerechten, mooie wijnen en mooi geserveerd. Alles goed gedaan dus. Hier gaan we nog eens terug komen

Once again we enjoyed delicious original dishes here. It's nice that the seasons are taken into account. The wines in the wine pairing paired perfectly with the dishes. The wines were certainly not everyday. A nice discovery of new flavors in addition to the dishes. Attention is also paid to smaller details such as the welcome word on the table with a list of fun and tasty drinks, with or without alcohol. No bake-off bread here, but different types of bread from our own bakery with various types of butter, pesto, etc. In short, a top experience, certainly not inferior to restaurants with a Michelin star in the region The price-quality ratio is excellent

Sanne and Rick, and now also Vera, create a relaxed atmosphere. The ambiance is star worthy, but the restaurant doesn't necessarily need that. Because Rick and his team prepare playful and surprising dishes that Sanne then enthusiastically combines with fine matching wines. We come here often... and if you come to a restaurant more often, then you like it. Why else would you come back? 🙏

Special and very tasty, with a few caveats. Third time here and it remains special, always take the menu, and this time again with special ingredients, such as nettle, pickled pear, fermented kohlrabi, etc. The wines were also special and paired perfectly with the dishes. But we did not find 2 appetizers (very) tasty (there was even some left behind) and the portions are very small (venison fillet main course was smaller than a piece of toilet soap) with lots of (tasty, yes) bread but with not always tasty spreads. Sanne is the perfect hostess! We will go again, thanks to the special approach and great atmosphere.

Wat een ontdekking. Een pareltje aan het plein in Son. Een 5 gangenmenu met wijn. Stuk voor stuk heerlijke gerechten, prachtig gepresenteerd en met bijpassende wijn, zoals het hoort. Heel fijn bediening. Fraai ingericht en ruim opgezet restaurant. Gaan zeker vaker.

Surprise in Son. We received a very hospitable welcome from Sanne and Rick, who surprised us with a delicious 5-course menu full of flavor explosions and surprising combinations. Accompanying wines were excellent and off the beaten track. We will definitely come back.

Fantastisch restaurant het eten bereid met zoveel lokale smaken gecombineerd met afgestemde wijnen. De passie proef je terug in iedere hap en past precies bij iedere slok wijn. Ben blij dat ze lekker in het mooie dorp zitten by far het beste restaurant in de regio als je op zoek bent naar verfijning en smaak.

Een prachtige ervaring. Heerlijke gerechten, stijlvol aangekleed en een hele fijne bediening. Mooie menukaart in de vorm van een route. Echt een ster waardig.

What an experience! Don't expect fries with lettuce and a fish pot, but amuses, a great menu with local products supplied by local suppliers; pictures of dishes explained by the passionate, pleasant service; surprising flavors, a great wine arrangement and then we were outside again after 4 hours. It had flown by. When will that star come?

Fantastisch gegeten! Bij elk gerecht een uitleg v e gepassioneerde chef. Eli gerecht zag er adembenemend uit. Super leuk dat er producten uit de omgeving gebruikt werden.

We had a wonderful evening and had incredibly delicious food and drinks. With everything that is served, you will receive an explanation of what is used in it. Many local products are incorporated into the food, which personally appealed to me enormously. Explanation about the delicious wines made drinking those wines an even greater celebration. A deep bow for a passionate young couple. Only negative point... portions could be a bit larger.

A wonderful evening with delicious food, perfectly matched wines and a complete story that brings everything together. Full of beautiful regional products, ingredients from our own garden and unique flavors. There are also delicious options for vegetarians in all courses. Rick and Sanne know very well what they are doing and you can taste it!

We received a fantastic menu, in our opinion comparable to Michelin star level. But affordable! All creations looked fantastic, it was almost a shame to eat them. We felt that the hosts served us in a friendly and relaxed manner.

Wat een bijzonder restaurant, Als je van lekker eten houd en iets bijzonders wil ervaren ga dan zeker een keer hier eten.

Dit is echt een uniek restaurant waar we avondvullend hebben genoten van een fantastisch diner. Kleinschalig opgezet met een huiskamer gevoel en prima akoestiek. Sanne als gastvrouw en Rick als chef kok zijn heel vriendelijk en zorgen dat je niets te kort komt. Buiten het 5 gangen diner dat wij gekozen hadden, kregen we meerdere amuses. Allemaal met aandacht en detail gemaakt en geserveerd. Het zijn steeds kunstwerken die je voorgeschoteld krijgt en die verfijnde smaken zijn een hele belevenis. Dit is echt vakwerk en daarbij werden prima wijnen geserveerd. Echt een aanrader en wij zullen hier zeker nog een keer terug komen.

De zoveelste keer hier. Een regelrechte aanrader. Heerlijk gegeten. Gekozen voor 5 gangen maar met alle extra's wel 10. Was weer fantastisch.

We zijn hier bij toeval beland en hebben uiteindelijk niet eens gegeten omdat we niet de tijd hadden voor een (meergangen) menu. De starters waren echter al heerlijk en er staan veel verfijnde gerechten op de kaart.

Geweldig lekker gegeten van heel veel kleine creatieve maar uiterst smaakvolle gerechtjes. Er wordt gekookt met produkten van het seizoen. De bediening is heel vriendelijk en legt precies uit wat alles is. We hadden gekozen voor het verrassingsmenu en waren bijzonder positief verrast door de speciale smaakcombinaties, de diversiteit en presentatie van de gerechten. Kortom een aanrader om hier te gaan eten. Wij komen hier graag nog een keer terug.

Wij zijn zojuist heerlijk verrast met het verwen menu. Heerlijke goed gecombineerde smaken. Een zeer prettige bediening. Een goed wijn arrangement en zeer gunstige prijs kwaliteit verhouding. Kortom een volmaakt avondje uit.

Lekker gegeten. Het was iets exclusiever dan weer vooraf verwachten maar dat maakte het ook wel heel leuk. Ontspannen gezeten met lekkere een bijzondere gerechtjes

We wisten niet wat ons te wachten stond, maar wat zijn wij super verrast. Complimenten. De ontvangst, de bediening, de service was geweldig. Het eten was een avondvullende beleving van smaak sensaties. Rick en Sanne samen met de keukenbrigade verdienen jullie een dikke vette 10. Het volgende bezoek dan ook meteen geboekt. Tot snel. Wat een geweldige verassing, leuk jong stel dat dit restaurant runt en zorgt voor een bijzonder culinaire prestatie. Voor een van de menu's komen we nog terug, dit keer met z'n 4-en à la carte gegeten. Relatief kleine kaart maar voldoende keuze gelet op het seizoen. Na een viertal amuses volgden zeer verassendde combinaties met bij elk gerecht een mooi extra element. Creatief, enthousiast, aparte smaken en duidelijke eigen signatuur. Mooi tempo van de service.

Bijzonder professionele bediening die hun vak echt verstaan en bijbehorende gerechten van minstens "** michelin Nivea" zeker in relatie tot de prijs. Gemakkelijk parkeren en mooi restaurant

Enorm lekker gegeten en heel fijn gezeten dankzij de uitstekende service en rustige sfeer. Zeker de moeite waard voor een herhaling. Alle gerechten zagen er ook prachtig uit.

Heerlijk gegeten! Het personeel is super vriendelijk en nemen de tijd voor een klein praatje. De gerechten passen goed bij elkaar en zijn leuk opgemaakt. Je komt hier zeer zeker niks tekort. Hier ga ik zeer zeker nog een keer meer eten!👍

Zaterdag 28 augustus 2021 met vrouw en dochter bij jullie gedineerd. Zeker voor herhaling vatbaar. Attente en vriendelijke ontvangst en bediening, en een heerlijk diner met bijpassende wijnen. Was in een woord top. Ga zo door!

Subliem. We hebben uitstekend gegeten. Er werd geluisterd naar onze wensen, vegetarisch en zoutarm, het tempo was goed, de wijn was heerlijk. De absolute topper vond ik de heerlijke artisjok. Tafelgenoot vond de zeetong a la meuniere heerlijk, het toetje met lavendel was verrassend. En gelukkig wordt hier gewoon water geserveerd. Een absolute aanrader, dit restaurant komt op onze favorieten-lijst

Een heerlijke avond gehad en wat een fantastisch werk van de chef en de bediening echt ontzettend fijne avond gehad

Genoten van het 4 gangen @home menu. Ik was vooraf wat bezorgd of het thuis zou lukken de gerechten net zo mooi op te maken en warm te maken zoals in het restaurant, dankzij de meegeleverde instructies met foto's ging dat uitstekend. Niet moeilijk, en nog leuk om te doen ook. Tip: maak elkaars gerechten op! Zeer geslaagde manier om tijdens de coronamaatregelen thuis "uit eten" te gaan. Heerlijke avond gehad. Aanrader!
