We had requested a cozy round table to have a bite to eat with our parents (90 years old) and sister/brother-in-law. A beautifully set table was ready 👍🏻 As for the food, it was good; a lot of the meat could have been a bit warmer, but it was delicious. A tip: maybe senior meals could be served, as there's quite a lot of it and it's a shame to throw anything away. Other than that, they were very friendly and helpful 😃

De Zwaan is always pleasantly busy, offering excellent value for money. The menu is extensive, and the service is fast and welcoming. We sat in the back of the restaurant, which I found pleasant. Eating in the café can be a challenge if you're over 55 and trying to hold a conversation. Because it's often full, it quickly becomes crowded and there's more than a buzz.

I visited De Zwaan last year and recently, and both visits were enjoyable. During my most recent visit, I visited the restaurant with a large group of eleven people. The restaurant has an extensive menu with many choices. I found the atmosphere pleasant and the staff friendly. As for dinner, the dishes were presented neatly and were also very tasty and flavorful. The service for the large group was considered excellent, especially because everyone's dishes were served simultaneously. This efficient process contributed to a positive overall experience, comparable to the previous visit.

A basket of baguettes was placed on the table upon arrival, compared to the other dishes. I thought this was quite expensive. However, the food was absolutely delicious.

We dined with seven people. The service was super friendly, and nothing was too much trouble, even though it was very busy. The food was fantastic. Two of our smaller guests ordered two large chicken satay skewers, and the kitchen neatly prepared two plates, each with one skewer. A truly fantastic job, effortlessly done.

We regularly visit De Zwaan, but tonight was very disappointing. The truffle mayonnaise roll we received was forgotten due to the crowds. It wasn't brought back either. The vermicelli in the soup was far too hard. The 300-gram mixed grill is no longer available, only 400 grams, which is a lot. The price-quality ratio was poor tonight. We informed the staff, who attributed it to the crowds. This should absolutely not be possible. After all, you're paying a considerable amount, so you should expect the food to be good. Continued 21-10: The owner listened to us and resolved the issue in a courteous manner. We've since had a delicious meal, just as we're used to. The service was also excellent! Thank you very much!

The tables are too low compared to the chairs in the restaurant. And the "juttersbollen" are hard rolls. It's handy to have steak cutlery with them. You can't cut through them with a regular knife. Otherwise, the food was delicious!
