Cozy and good service. I found the food disappointing. Quite pricey and not particularly tasty.

Nice terrace with lots of shady spots, friendly staff and good food

We had a delicious meal here, and the atmosphere is lovely. The only downside is that the service was a bit too efficient for my liking. The food arrived very quickly; after 75 minutes, we were already outside again.

The atmosphere was mixed. Football players were having lunch, a family dressed up and colored blue as Smurfs, and a funeral was taking place in one room. I had a pleasant conversation with my table companion. Lunch was excellent.

The food was delicious for a good price. The service was helpful, which was great.

Came here for a random lunch after arriving at the Eindhoven Aiport. Not sure what to expect, but left as satisfied customers. Group of 4 and we were seated outside on a great outside terrace. Service was welcoming and on point. The lunch menu contains a wide variety of sandwiches, grilled cheese, pancakes, egg dishes, salad (meat, cheese and fish variations) and some burger type dishes. Available on the menu are also a few 'cheese platter' like dishes, if you like just to sit down for a while and take your time. As a group of 4, we all had different meals (Salad, Pancakes, Grilled cheese (Tosti) and Buratta sandwich). Would recommend all of it.

We had dinner at De Zwaan yesterday to celebrate our wedding anniversary. This has truly become our favorite spot; we often go there for special occasions. Delicious food, friendly and helpful staff, and always a great price. Fantastic!

The mussels were delicious, a good tip from a waiter.

Great service and delicious food

We came here for my father in-law 86th birthday. We were 6 people and we all loved the food we got. Wine selection was good and we enjoyed it. We also had desserts and they were all very good! Great place with great food and excellent service!

Got sick 30 minutes after eating, suspected something about the fish salad not being fresh. (Leftovers from the weekend)? Never again.

A true village pub, brasserie, and restaurant. What I'd really love is for them to update the menu; it's been the same for ages. New hospitality entrepreneurs would love that, but the many regulars can't handle change. Which is a shame. We'll keep coming back; it's accessible and for everyone.

We had a great meal with our team. It was nice to sit at a round table. The staff was flexible when some extra people joined.

The tournedos (grilled) was too thick, so only the core was pink... and the sole (the most expensive dish) was very dry! Sending it back to the kitchen is not an option because the result is that you can no longer eat the main course at the same time and of course you don't want that. The sea bass (2 pers) was fortunately good. Too bad!

We went to lunch with a group of friends at De Zwaan, before the reservation we asked if there was a possibility to take into account ladies with a gastric reduction. (all of us) This was not immediately possible. It was a warm day, so it was nice to be inside the restaurant with air conditioning. Except for the gentleman who was serving. He was arrogant and haughty. Literally stood "waiting" the whole time in the restaurant as if you were at a 5-star restaurant. We found this extremely annoying and especially uncomfortable. He gave a word to everything we said. The food was delicious... and of course now way too much because of the gastric reduction. We couldn't finish it. The gentleman felt the need to ask if "we didn't like it" or if it was too much. And then ask "do you want another dessert". Later we sat down on the terrace, helped by nice staff, and we had a great afternoon Maybe this employee should work on the hospitality manners.

Good ambiance, neat and correct. Food was good. A bit too much lettuce in the meal salad.

Once again we had a delicious meal and will definitely be back soon.

There has been an authentic atmosphere in this Brabant village for a long time

This is a great restaurant with a unique location. Food perfect just like the staff.

Nice terrace, centrally located with parking. Staff mediocre. Waiting for a spot, eye contact several times but no help. Runners with hardly any customer friendliness. Can't even help to get 1 extra beer. Food varied. Burrata very tasty. Carpaccio with supermarket feeling. Steak very tender, but accompanying salad somewhat tasteless. Chives and alfalfa on the warm vegetables no success. The cold egg on the warm schnitzel may also be reconsidered.

Mijn partner en ik hebben weer heerlijk gegeten en gedronken, alsook zijn we altijd heel erg tevreden met de vriendelijkheid van het personeel hier. Er heerst een hele fijne en relaxte sfeer! Wij komen hierdoor graag in Son, aangezien je je altijd welkom voelt (ook zonder reservering). De ossenhaas/biefstukpuntjes en de gamba’s pil-pil waren heerlijk, perfect gegaard. Ook de pepersaus was mega goed van smaak!

We were seated in the front part of the restaurant, more of a café area. This wouldn't be so bad if the chairs were better. That was very annoying for me. I'm already old, which brings with it the necessary inconveniences.

As always, we had a delicious lunch at De Zwaan. Salads were generously filled and very tasty. Price-quality ratio is more than fine. Extremely friendly and attentive staff. Will gladly come back!

Very unfortunate ... we have already reported several times that there was a lot of smell from the dishes. Now unfortunately we will not come to eat anymore. Only when the weather is nice because then we can sit outside.

It is always pleasantly busy, atmospheric and friendly at De Zwaan in Son. Friendly staff and tasty food. They have a nice menu that is not overloaded, so you always make a good choice.

Chicken sandwich had a lot of chicken and was very tasty...ceaser salad was fine... you can sit in the sun, the terrace is very large.

We ordered the Brabant asparagus menu. It was on the table within 5 minutes. The potatoes were undercooked, the ham was thrown on and much too thick with lots of fat edges, asparagus was tasty but very thick Too bad, I expected more from it actually.

The food was delicious, some of the staff were young and learning, furniture needed to be replaced. I would go there again in a heartbeat

Very tasty food, a great 12 hours

When we stay here in Eindhoven we always go to Jip's lunch platter. So delicious with various snacks. After a grand dessert together, our day can't go wrong.

Highly recommended. We have eaten there several times and would love to go back. First compliments to the chef(s) And for the service. The food is great Sufficient portions for a reasonable price. I can't recommend anything because everything is really tasty. If you don't like something with your food, let us know and it will be adjusted

Wonderful evening out at De Zwaan. We came especially for pulled pork from grandma's recipe. Highly recommended. Good and fast service. Just a nice place with fair prices. No wonder it was so busy ;-)
