A lovely landing spot during our leg of the Ons Kloosterpad (Our Monastery Trail). Spacious terrace with a view of several yachts. The food was delicious; my wife had the De Haven salad (generously filled!), and I had the Black Angus hamburger.

Really nice place next to the canal. Relaxing atmosphere. Food portions are generous. Food is relatively simple but yummy and effective. Most importantly, this restaurant has one of the fastest services I have seen in town. This place is ideal for lunch on a sunny day, as it has a large terrace.

Door de positieve recensies hier gereserveerd om te gaan eten. We werden vlug geholpen, de medewerksters waren vriendelijk. We bestelden kabeljauw, deze was oké, maar niet heel bijzonder van smaak (flauw). De frieten die we erbij gereserveerd kregen deden de deur dicht, waren super vet en hard gebakken, duidelijk was dat deze nog eens teruggegooid waren in het frituurvet. We hebben er iets van gezegd, maar kregen als antwoord van een jonge knul als bediende, “oh dat is dan jammer”. Er was geen enkele coulance. Ons zullen ze hier in ieder geval nooit meer zien.

Friendly service. Up for a chat. The decor is original with typical water sports ornaments. A bit dated, but that gives it its character. Nice atmosphere. Large outdoor terrace with a view of the boats and the canal. No distant views. The parking lot in front looks drab. I didn't immediately expect the food to offer excellent value for money. I really enjoyed it. Pleasantly surprised.

Just like about 6 years ago, we're extremely satisfied with the harbormaster and the accompanying service. A simple, charming marina with a great restaurant, friendly staff, and good service. We enjoy coming here again and again.

Yesterday we had a delicious meal in Son at the Haventje. The welcome and service were warm and the food was really tasty. I had Grandma's Stew, which is highly recommended.

A lovely find while traveling, alongside the river in a well kept Marina. Indoor and outdoor dining with excellent food attentive staff who spoke excellent English. There is parking on site.

What a peaceful place with delicious dishes and beautiful surroundings.

We arrived at 9:30 for breakfast. Stepped in, no one in sight. After a while someone arrived and quickly cleaned up. Not a friendly welcome at all. Which immediately made us want to have breakfast there. In any case, we won't be coming here again.

Just had a Dame Blanche on the terrace. Long wait before someone came to take order. Was grumpy employee who eventually came. The chocolate was so thick and mushy that I thought it came straight out of the pasta pot. Also very little ice. Then 4 employees further before the grumpy man came to pay. No "did you like it ma'am" and have a nice day. Pffff. No, customer friendliness was certainly not a priority here today.

I love this establishment! It is located near the canal. I loved sitting by the canal and drinking their delicious iced coffee☺️

Food was good. However, I was not satisfied with the service at all. When we entered the restaurant, we asked a waiter to serve us with a table. She said we can sit wherever we want. We did it. Then another waiter approached us and asked us to give up the table since she promised it to another couple! If you help with table selection, why weren’t we served from the beginning as well?

Beautiful river harbor and restaurant provides delicious food for leisure time. Hospitality services make the best experience of food.

We come here regularly with the cycling club. Usually with 15 people or more. But the coffee here is EXPENSIVE. Never experienced this anywhere yet. A simple cup for 3.20. I think it's ridiculous. This is the absolute rip-off. So I would also like to advise other cycling clubs to go for a drink somewhere else. Too bad because the location is great.
