Friendly service. Up for a chat. The decor is original with typical water sports ornaments. A bit dated, but that gives it its character. Nice atmosphere. Large outdoor terrace with a view of the boats and the canal. No distant views. The parking lot in front looks drab. I didn't immediately expect the food to offer excellent value for money. I really enjoyed it. Pleasantly surprised.

Just like about 6 years ago, we're extremely satisfied with the harbormaster and the accompanying service. A simple, charming marina with a great restaurant, friendly staff, and good service. We enjoy coming here again and again.

Yesterday we had a delicious meal in Son at the Haventje. The welcome and service were warm and the food was really tasty. I had Grandma's Stew, which is highly recommended.

A lovely find while traveling, alongside the river in a well kept Marina. Indoor and outdoor dining with excellent food attentive staff who spoke excellent English. There is parking on site.

We arrived at 9:30 for breakfast. Stepped in, no one in sight. After a while someone arrived and quickly cleaned up. Not a friendly welcome at all. Which immediately made us want to have breakfast there. In any case, we won't be coming here again.

Just had a Dame Blanche on the terrace. Long wait before someone came to take order. Was grumpy employee who eventually came. The chocolate was so thick and mushy that I thought it came straight out of the pasta pot. Also very little ice. Then 4 employees further before the grumpy man came to pay. No "did you like it ma'am" and have a nice day. Pffff. No, customer friendliness was certainly not a priority here today.

I love this establishment! It is located near the canal. I loved sitting by the canal and drinking their delicious iced coffee☺️

Food was good. However, I was not satisfied with the service at all. When we entered the restaurant, we asked a waiter to serve us with a table. She said we can sit wherever we want. We did it. Then another waiter approached us and asked us to give up the table since she promised it to another couple! If you help with table selection, why weren’t we served from the beginning as well?

We come here regularly with the cycling club. Usually with 15 people or more. But the coffee here is EXPENSIVE. Never experienced this anywhere yet. A simple cup for 3.20. I think it's ridiculous. This is the absolute rip-off. So I would also like to advise other cycling clubs to go for a drink somewhere else. Too bad because the location is great.

Cozy place, excellent food and service

I have been mooring my boat in the harbor there for a few years now, but they have such a problem with rats that I don't want to go there anymore. they do not take enough action and simply wave the complaints away. you see them everywhere, including the kitchen and the restaurant... really dirty and unhygienic.

ik lig al een paar jaar met mijn bootje in de haven daar maar ze hebben zo’n last van ratten dat ik er niet meer wil komen . ze ondernemen niet genoeg actie en wuiven de klachten gewoon weg . je ziet ze overal lopen , ook bij de keuken en het restaurant… echt heel vies en onhygiënisch.

Gezellige uitspanning aan de haven, lekker gezeten op het terras tijdens een familiereünie. Slechts een portie bitterballen genuttigd, dus dat telt niet echt als eten. Maar de kaart ziet er goed uit.

Iedere keer een leuke plek voor een drankje en een hapje. Vriendelijk personeel en een snelle en goede service, ontegenzeggelijk. Maar eerlijk gezegd, de prijzen zijn exproportioneel en niet meer in verhouding voor hetgeen je krijgt. € 16,00 voor een kleine simpele hamburger of € 8,50 voor een beetje brood met een sausje, nee. Dat was voor ons de laatste keer.
