The food was delicious, it is definitely worth coming by for a bite to eat. Personally I had the butter chicken with garlic naan and a mango lassi. I was well filled. The tent itself is also beautiful with authentic paintings and a quiet atmospheric design. It was not super busy and were therefore attentively helped. Definitely worth repeating!!

Last time I went here with a buddy of mine. We have been living in East for years and we have often walked past the shop, but decided to go in once. The food was fresh, delicious and warm, the service was also great, we got a drink on the house.

A small place that welcomed us with the scents of Indian spices as soon as we entered. The owner is kind and helped us choose the most or least spicy dish. The appetizers: vegetable samusa, fried onion rings and lamb skewers, all superb. We continued with a vegetable biryani, a chilli paneer and a chicken tikka so good that it seemed like we were eating directly in India (we lived in Bombay for a while). The portions are generous and the service was quick despite the many takeaway orders to prepare. A restaurant that I highly recommend and where we will definitely return to eat ... top🔝👌

Ordered via ordering app, 2 person menu including dessert. Didn't get dessert and the meat was very dry. The only thing that was tasty was the naan bread.. Too bad, had higher expectations.

The food is really delicious from 'Natraj' and they actually deserve 5 stars, but unfortunately they won't get that from me. The reason for this is simple, for example, if you order a dish you get very little chicken (when ordering) and the container with rice is filled to the top but the meat is not... there could be a lot more in it if it were up to me, especially for that price because it is not cheap. Unfortunately, 'Natraj' gets 3 stars instead of 5 stars and I hope they will change this in the future. My experience is purely based on having ordered (multiple times). Personally, I have never eaten inside the restaurant.

Do not order from this restaurant. After waiting for more than two hours we did not receive our ordered food. They don't answer the phone when you call.

We ordered the Butter Chicken and there was hardly any chicken in it. When I called to report this, the response was very unfriendly. It was said: “You want too much for your money”. I strongly advise against ordering here.

Nooooo! My beloved Tandoori Corner has taken over Natraj. Congratulations, but I pray they continue to offer their own recipes, your dishes are so much tastier than other restaurants in the area! So I placed an order with shaking knees. It turns out, Natraj dishes... and therefore no longer the Tandoori Corner quality. That means looking for another favorite in the neighborhood.

By far the best in Amsterdam! Always large portions that taste delicious and are delivered quickly. Also plenty of delicious vegetarian options, highly recommended!

We ended up here by accident. It is more of a takeaway restaurant. The service is not very experienced, but very friendly! Please note: the menus on the menu are only available if you pick up. Shame! But the food we ordered was delicious. And it was nice and quiet, there are only 5 tables! And very affordable. Highly recommended for a snack, not for a festive evening, I think!

Ik bestel regelmatig bij Natraj: het eten is heerlijk pittig en het wordt altijd snel bezorgd!

Het eten was erg lekker. Met name de (garlic) naans die duidelijk net uit de klei oven kwamen, maar ook de butter chicken met malse stukjes kip uit de tandoor en de saag paneer. Waarom drie sterren? Ik vind het belangrijk dat de sfeer fijn is als je ergens uiteten gaat, omdat het een luxe is. Helaas viel de sfeer erg tegen. We waren de enige gasten in het restaurant op een vrijdagavond. Voor de rest liepen er alleen maar jongens met scooter helmen op, het restaurant in en uit: thuisbezorgd en uber eats bestellingen. Ik vond het jammer om te merken dat er meer oog was voor de afhaal bestellingen dan voor de klanten. De service ging niet van harte en het was onrustig om hier te eten vanwege de mensen die steeds naar binnen en buiten liepen en de alarmpjes die telkens afgingen als er een nieuwe bestelling was geplaatst. De menukaart was ook minder uitgebreid in het restaurant dan via thuisbezorgd en de prijzen waren hoger. Hogere prijzen kan ik me wel voorstellen: voor de service, maar deze viel dus nogal tegen. De ruimte was ook niet heel gezellig ingericht. Kortom, ik kom hier niet meer eten, ondanks dat het eten verrukkelijk was. Volgende keer dan maar bestellen. Dan weet je in ieder geval zeker dat het eten vers is, want de doorstroom is goed (veel bestellingen).

Oostpoort's little Indian, amazing to order or sit in. Very quiet, not smelly, and SUPER TASTY!! Can only recommend. You can also ask what level of spicyness you prefer 🌶️

They have so many vegetarian options here. We got spicy and regular masalas and they were very tasty and nutty. Their naan was so chewy and soft.

Really friendly service and the food was excellent. We also get a lot for the price. I'm looking forward to coming back and trying new dishes from here!

Disappointing. The Lamb korma and garlic chicken were not very good.

Don't go there. Spare yourself the visit. If you have basic culinary experience, you will not only be disappointed but disgusted.

Absolutely disgusting experience. Ordered food from them only to get a call saying driver tried to reach you 15 minutes ago and let me tell you - we have been sat in the living room the entire room and they did not even attempt the doorbell. You should seriously consider what kind of drivers you use if they aren’t even going to try and bring the food to you. Customer service over the phone was awful - the man dealing with me said oh well you can warm your food. Really really disappointed and will never order again!

Vriendelijke bediening. De Tandoori Chicken en Mixed Grill bevatten te veel pepers. Terwijl ik expliciet heb gevraagd of ze geen pepers willen gebruiken. De kwaliteit van het eten is ok. Restaurant mag wat gezelliger worden aangekleed. Was wel erg weinig aan gedaan.

The restaurant is nice and the food was amazing. Manager/waiter in there was very understanding, welcoming and tried to accomodate all of the requests. We were 10 people and the food didnt take that long. The annoying thing was the price though. For the amount of food given (small) the price was high. Especially that we order from the same restaurant and we get easily double the amount of food. (Understanding that It was explained to us that delivery is regulated in a way that it will be different than the store). But still i don't understand why reducing the amount of food. If its for thenservice, then add a service charge! Beside that, my tummy was very happy with the food so i wasnt all unhappy 😜. Thanks for the food I'm happy to be invited for a re-review if restaurant improved the mentioned above.

Although I was very hungry, I felt like the biryani was more of a chicken curry mixed with rice than a proper biryani. I got charged for room temperature water without asking me. I am not sure if it is a practice in most of the restaurants in Netherlands to charge for water. I’m grateful to the owners for letting me charge my mobile phone.

We bestellen hier iedere maand. Iedere keer dat we iets nieuws nemen, zijn we weer verbaasd over hoe lekker het is. Erg lekker, vooral voor de prijs.

De butter chicken was te zoet - ik weet dat hij zoet hoort maar dit was echt tè. Alle andere gerechten waren ok-maar-kan-beter - er zijn echt adressen in Amsterdam waar het beter is. Wel een vriendelijke buurt-zaak.

Eerlijk is eerlijk, het eten is smaakvol en goed, maar ................. ik ben al jaren en jaren klant van Natraj, eerst via Thuisbezorgd of gewoon eten in het restaurant, en later door rechtstreeks te bestellen omdat je dan ook nog eens 10 % korting krijgt. Enkele keren ging dat goed, maar op een gegeven moment betaalde ik bij het bezorgen méér dan telefonisch opgegeven. De eerste keer dacht ik: "Laat maar, de koerier kan er niets aan doen". De 2e keer heb ik het wel gemeld, maar geen reactie, en laatst de 3e keer heb ik in 2 berichten via Facebook laten weten dat het niet netjes is om via de telefoon de beloofde prijs te geven, en bij aflevering de Thuisbezorgd-prijs te berekenen. Mijn berichten werden beide keren keurig gelezen, maar geen ENKELE reactie. Nu gaat het in totaal maar om ca. 3 x 4,00 wat ik teveel betaalde en dat is niet echt het probleem. Het probleem is het negeren van een reactie van een vaste klant, die ze dus op deze manier hebben verloren. Lekker slim dus om voor totaal 12,00 of een reactie een jarenlange vaste klant weg te laten gaan.

Erg lekker gegeten! Butter chicken is zeker aan te raden, de naan en losse voorgerechten met kip en lamskebab zijn ook erg lekker. Het leveren duurde wat langer dan aangegeven, maar er werd van tevoren al aangegeven dat het bijzonder druk was deze avond.

Snel en zeer warm bij aflevering! Eten was echt goed op smaak en divers. Ga zeker vaker bestellen!

Ik als blanke man kon de pittige variant van het eten 𝗡𝗘𝗧 hebben. Desondanks de traan die ik heb gelaten was het ontzettend lekker.

Due to a mistake through the thuisbezorgd website, our food almost was delivered at an address that wasn't ours. The staff at Nataraj went out of their way to help us out in getting the food to the location we were at, which was officially out of their delivery zone. We can't thank them enough for the the great service they provided us! Thanks again. And the korma was delicious!

Erg goed! Via thuisbezorgd meerdere malen diverse curry’s besteld. Bezorging altijd volgens tijd en komt lekker warm aan!

Well it's a good place. Food was okay. quantity was less.

Super lekker eten. Wees je wel bewust dat het pittig is. Maar echt heel lekker en aardig personeel.

Pedimos una comida para 8 personas. Esto incluía numerosos con pollo. El pollo en algunas de las comidas no estaba cocinado, así que devolvimos la comida entera sin comer. El restaurante dice que no reembolsarán, ya que el pollo fue cocinado, solo el colorante alimentario hizo que la pechuga de pollo fuera de este color. Sin embargo, no era solo el color, sino también la textura. No es que hayamos ordenado, comido y luego pedido que nos devuelvan el dinero, devolvimos todo sin comer. Nos disuadió de obtener algo más de ellos, ya que insistieron en que estaba cocinado. El gerente se negó a llamarme y dijo que su personal debería ofrecer 3 o 4 platos como reemplazo, pero sin reembolso, ya que tuvieron que tirar las comidas. Bueno, gastamos € 137 en comida! Luego tuvimos que pedir algo de comida en otro lugar. Nunca he devuelto una comida para llevar antes. El personal siguió diciendo que hemos servido a cientos antes que usted y no se quejaron, bueno, solo tiene que suceder una vez. Definitivamente sugeriría que la gente encuentre una alternativa.
