Tadka Indian Kitchen Amsterdam in Holendrecht/Reigersbos

Just picked up a chicken tikka roll and pani puri. I'd never had pani puri before, but it was delicious! You get a full bottle of sauce that lasts for ages. The roll was also fantastic with fresh vegetables!

I recently ordered from here a few times. The first two times were fine, but yesterday it went terribly wrong. It was a busy Saturday evening, so the food arrived much later. I received a call with an apology and was given a samosa as compensation, so that was fine. It turned out the dal soup was absolutely awful; it was watery and had a piece of plastic in it! So I called them; I didn't want to immediately criticize them online, but they did their best when the delivery took longer. My call about the dal soup was also responded to with a thousand apologies and an offer of compensation for my next order. So, okay. I just finished the remaining half of the saag paneer, but when I thought, "What am I eating?" it turned out it was full of small pieces of plastic! So, I'm writing this review anyway, because this is absolutely unacceptable! What are they doing?!

A friend of mine ordered through Uber Eats from what seemed to be a Korean restaurant called Gochu Gang. The food never arrived, even though they kept saying on the phone that it was on the way. Eventually, my friend went to the restaurant in person — the order was just sitting there on the counter, completely cold. Turns out they operate under several different names, but it’s actually the same place.

I ordered through Uber Eats from a supposed Korean restaurant operating under the name Gochu Gang. After a long wait, my order never arrived, even though they kept claiming it was on its way over the phone. Finally, I went to the restaurant myself—there, the food was already waiting on the counter, cold and untouched. Apparently, they operate under different names, but it's just the same restaurant.

I won't be back. I ordered almost 70 euros, but the food arrived lukewarm and tasted mediocre. They forgot the papardam, and the soft drink that's supposed to be included for orders over 20 euros is never included. My email about the missing drink wasn't even responded to. A subpar experience.

⸻ Bad experience. The food smelled awful, and we didn't get a different dish. The staff was unfriendly and completely unhelpful. We paid a lot but received no service, no alternative food, and no refund. Absolutely not recommended!!!

The food was delicious. We had the €99 menu for four people. The delivery driver even came back to bring four cans of soda. It was truly delicious.

🔥 Tadka – Indian Kitchen in Reigersbos, Amsterdam ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️☆ (4/5 – spice, taste and snot, but delivery drama deluxe) If you fancy a curry that burns your nose and makes you cry from pleasure and heat, then Tadka is the place to be. This time I ordered chicken vindaloo with rice, and believe me, that portion was not stingy. So much curry and rice that I thought: wow, that's going to be delicious. But as always: I had three bites and was already full 💀 That vindaloo was really spicy. So spicy that I was blowing my nose with one hand while I continued eating with the other. 🔥🔥 Respect. Luckily I had brought a mango lassi to put out the fire a bit, deliciously creamy and sweet, exactly what you need when your tongue is on fire. Only downside: I had to wait seriously more than an hour and even called a few times to ask ‘Hello where is my food 😭’. But when it finally arrived it was piping hot, so shout-out to the delivery guy for at least not stopping on his scooter for a break. Until the next bite of Tafels&Tories 🤙

Not the Indian Food I’m used to and way too expensive when you only receive 5 small chicken wings and lots of unions. Every time I order something here, I’m disappointed by the flavours or texture. So this was my last time here.

I ordered butter chicken, naan og raita. Delivered piping hot. I played safe and took mild spicy but could have gone for medium spicy. Good taste. Quantity was good. I will recommend.

ORDERED TIKKA CHICKEN AND ONION BAHJI. THEY GAVE ME BAHJI AND SAMOSA. NO MEAT.

My favorite restaurant in the area and I literally order from them every week. Lately I feel like the chicken vindaloo is not as spicy as before. Did you have a change in the recipe? I wish it would go back to being super spicy like it was before!

Last week it really sucked! My father often orders here! Placed an order today and we were promised the madras, the food was very tasty, BUT the mint sauce is missing!! Just a shame. Tadka needs to treat regular customers better!!!!

When I got home my food was just cold or Lau Actually and not even really tasty and very expensive

Tast is good, big portions, helpful staff. We ordered a korma, veg dish, rice and naan. The rice was good, but the curry’s were mostly liquid instead of fish and veggies, but it was tasty. The naan was not good at all so I would skip that next time.

So happy that Tadka has opened near us so we can enjoy their delicious food! Great quality, always arrives warm, and big portions. Delivery always takes a little while but is probably because they are always busy with orders. Definitely recommend.

In the beginning I had beautiful delicious Currys... Sadly its no where near as good as it was in the beginning. Last night , ordered a chicken korma, got a Lamb hot spicy curry. nan tasted moldy. Not worth the money.

My favorite place! Their samosas are fire and I love the cheesy garlic naan! Sometimes on busy nights (like over the weekend) the delivery comes late, but it’s well worth the wait to me!

Yummy comfort food! Tried a few vegan dishes and all were good. The BAINGAN BHARTA especially. Always pick up, dont let it be delivered. I see some bad reviews when jt comes to delivered food.

Good food and delivery is really fast

Love this place. Delicious food. Makes delicious vegan curries! On their own website just put it in the comment box at checkout if you need a veg dish made vegan. On thuisbezorgd it is a drop down menu choice.

When I walked in the place smelled great so I had high expectation. The tandoori stuff (skewers) looked good as well. But to be honest if you’re a vegetarian like me, skip this place. Ordered a vegetable kathi roll (only vegetarian roll option) for takeout since I wanted just a snack, and specifically asked them to make it spicy/flavorful. When I got home I found they had just put basic boiled vegetables with no flavoring, and some tomato ketchup rolled up in a naan. Probably the worst dish I’ve ever had at any Indian place in Amsterdam

Very good food, I ordered multiple times! Five stars!!!

I got takeout on Saturday at around 6pm. Went for butter chicken with some Naan and chicken Samosa on the side. Butter chicken was great and more than I expected, I should’ve gotten two Naan. Samosa was delicious with plenty of filling. Staff was friendly, kitchen clean and waited for 10 minutes tops. The free crisps that came with the order were a nice bonus too!

I ordered food from here as Byriani House has closed :( unfortunately Tikka Masala Lamb contains more MSG than lamb, paneer was slightly better but again there was MSG in it too, although in smaller quantity. Won't order again :(

Fantastic Indian food, everything fresh made, very friendly people!!!

De gerechten zijn prima, vol van smaak en lekker, echter als het gaat om bediening / openingstijden, deze kloppen voor geen meter. Indien staat dat ze open zijn en je komt langs is alles donker en gesloten. Maakt niet uit op wat voor dag dit is met de aangegeven openingstijden.

The only place in Amsterdam that does North Indian food how it’s supposed to taste like. I was surprised to discover this perfect place in Amsterdam after living here for a year. Laccha paratha, chole and dal soup was simply the best here.

Heel slecht. Is al tweede keer slecht ervaring. Een keer bezorgd kosten betaald terwijl het gratis bezorging moest zijn. En vandaag niet van te voren geïnformeerd dat er geen roti kun bestellen. Wist het pas toen ze er al waren.

Very nice curries, especially the aubergine Baingan Bharta was a nice surprise! Generous portion size and timely delivery. Will order again.

Eten smaakte goed, servers was slecht en aan het einde van mijn maaltijd kwam ik een lange haar tegen

Tot 2 keer toe was het eten goed en smaakvol. Voor de 3e keer verheugden we ons er ook weer op maar helaas de lams biryani was smaakloos het lamsvlees was ver te zoeken en de tadka curry leek op een zwembad van saus en het lamsvlees was ergens op de bodem. Geen aanrader en jullie zijn een klant kwijt.

Snelle bezorging en super lekker. Had stiekem wel gehoopt dat meeste gerechten vers bereid werden i.p.v. opwarmen in magnetron.

Best indian food in Zuidoost! We have been living here for years and tried at least 5 different indian restaurants in the area but Tadka is by far the best! We have ordered twice and tried multiple dishes and they make everything with such care. Quality ingredients (especially the meat) always fresh and just a special touch of love. Cannot wait to visit this wonderful restaurant in person.

Butter Chicken was ok but the sauce tasted ‘flavorless’. Just spicy. The naan seemed heated up in the microwave, very disappointing. Quality seems to be secondary.

First day in Amsterdam and was glad to get a takeaway from Tadka. Amazing taste, Excellent Food quality, very friendly staff. Being an Indian myself I can assure you there's nothing that can go wrong with your order. Not sure if they were a part of the meal but we got complimentary Papadams. It’s definitely gonna be my go to place.

Although somewhat expensive the food did taste great! Had butter chicken and chicken tandoor, which tasted fresh and had a great balance in spices. Delivery was also on time but only spoke english, which is not an issue ofcourse. Good food, would order again if i'm in the area

Al een paar keer hier besteld. Echt héérlijke, verse, kruidige currys. Butter naan ook erg lekker erbij!

Net via thuisbezorgd hier voor het eerst besteld. De bestelling kwam snel aan (sneller dan verwacht). De bezorger was echt superaardig. Eten was goed ingepakt. Portie was goed en het smaakte super. Ik zal hier vaker bestellen. Thanks Tadka!

Ik ben vandaag eerste keer geweest en eten was zo lekkere 100% smaakt heel heel en heel lekkers en de restaurant heel schoon dat is leuk
