Ordered Babi Pangang with vegetarian Nasi. Delivery was fast but couldn't be tracked digitally. The dish I chose was rather dry, the sauce a bit sour, and the nasi contained only a few traces of egg and a single piece of leek. Both dishes came in two large containers: this restaurant is therefore recommended if you're very hungry and want a quick meal.

One of the best restaurants in Maastricht. The food is always excellent! Sometimes, things go wrong with orders placed through Thuisbezorgd, but that doesn't detract from the quality of the food. The restaurant is best suited for takeout, as the interior is outdated and doesn't exactly look inviting.

The spring rolls were super tasty and well filled.

The food tasted great and was still nice and warm upon arrival. It was very busy, and orders through Thuisbezorgd were apparently very high on Tuesday (many Chinese restaurants were closed), so customers who came to pick up their food had to wait. Once the orange bags were filled, things moved quickly. It's a shame, however, that when ordering monthly menu A, you specify that you want ajam pangang instead of babi pangang, which wasn't a problem. However, upon arrival, it turned out that no fewer than two babi pangangs had been wrapped, and no ajam pangang and no koe lo yuk. Driving back would have been a waste, waiting again, and the rest of the food being cold. Tip of the day: no matter how busy it is, every customer wants to receive the correct order for which they paid.

I ordered takeout, and the taste was five stars, perfect. But the portion was way too small!

What a terrible place! Called to pick up, would be ready within 15 minutes. Arrived at the location and no employee spoke to me upon arrival. Then sat waiting for 45 minutes, because I thought the customer had to wait here until the order was ready. Turns out that my order had already been ready for 40 minutes. Nobody said anything, nobody asked anything, nothing! Then I can't even pay by card, because my debit card doesn't work on their debit machine!? I pay with my debit card all over the world, except at New China Garden... They ask if I can "pay cash", no ma'am unfortunately, our Dutch government prohibits payments with cash... Finally after almost an hour I walked out the door without food, without an apology and no solution from the restaurant!

I picked up a set menu for two people twice...really delicious!! Highly recommended...it was nice and hot and everything was fresh (great).

NEVER order here. Via home delivery it immediately says that it is on its way. Doesn't come in the end. Tried calling 4 times, line is constantly busy. Just turned off or blocked the phone. Finally, after 2 hours of waiting, it says that it has been delivered?? There is nothing to worry about. It's nice to be at home on the couch when you're hungry.

Placed an order this morning at 11:00 am for delivery at 6:00 pm. Not available by phone so apparently too busy. The food arrived at 6:55 pm and unfortunately it was no longer warm. Sate was very dark in color and the Nasi was not included in the order. Have been here before but unfortunately it was not good. Don't know if we'll be back either. The delivery person was very friendly with 1000 apologies. Delivery person deserves 5 stars.

Worthless! Have now ordered something from here about 5 times in the past 3 years. Problems with delivery every time, they can't find our address in the same district every time. This means that the food is already half cold upon delivery. Last time the order was wrong and the amount of nasi\bami you get is at least half as much as before.

Elite food for the price, beste in de wereld!! Have ordered from them multiple times and never disappoints. The portion is big and it’s super delicious. The delivery always took around 30-45 minutes so i have zero problem with it. If you are looking for a Chinees/indonesia food, New China Garden is the way to go! The worst Chinese I have ever eaten, food was ice cold, tasteless and they are busy with orders outside the home and completely forget about the customers in the restaurant, in short never eat there because it is a big disaster, there is a terrible atmosphere, old rubbish

Usually things were going well here. Unfortunately, I dared to deviate from my usual order because I always like char siew at other places. After about 90 minutes! waiting, I was given a bowl of food that I would hesitate to feed to a dog. Very unappetizing presentation and looked partially raw. After such a long wait, I no longer feel like contacting the restaurant for any corrections and the container of char siew went straight into the trash. Shame. Addition: the other food was lukewarm but overcooked. I think I'll pick up somewhere else instead of delivery from now on.

Food is good, but the delivery took 1 hour and 40 minutes to the city centre, which is unbelievable. When I tried to call and cancel my order I had to wait on line, and eventually was told to wait even longer. I received my food with an attitude, so I really wouldn’t say the taste of the food covers up for the bad service they provide.

After waiting at the table for 10 minutes, the message came that I cannot eat here on site. At the takeaway counter the question is then asked: eat here or take away? I would have to wait a long time to eat on site. I order a rice table to take away with nasi. At home there appears to be noodles instead of. Nasi. The food itself is fine, but no more than 3 stars. Only suitable for takeaway and home delivery. Shame.

Bland, undercooked food. The chicken tasted stringy and slimy, the noodles smelled funny. Threw it all out, never again will I order from this place.

We ordered food from this restaurant through Thuisbezorgd and we were deeply disappointed with both the food and the delivery. The food arrived late, the chicken in Ajam Pangang was undercooked, there was bacon in the noodle (and it was not mentioned in the dish description), the sweet and sour sauce shrimp was again undercooked and super bland, being very far from anything sweet and sour. Also the food was delivered in plastic boxes which are super unhealthy especially when the food inside is still warm. We took a few bites from these microplastic flavoured food and had to throw out the rest. What a shame. We'll never order from this place ever again.

Had dinner here 2 weeks ago with 5 people, paid €20 per person for Chinese and Indian rice tables, and walked out hungry. Ridiculous. Everything was served on one platter, a mini pile of food per dish and 3/4 of the platter was filled with (tasteless) atjar. There wasn't even enough for everyone to eat 1 spoon per dish. Even the nasi came in a mini bowl, how stingy can you be. Besides the fact that it was unprecedentedly little, it was also just plain boring in taste. Not used to Chinese restaurants, at other restaurants you get so much that you can hardly finish it. I now understand why no one else was inside. The white wine was also not drinkable, I think the bottle had been open for a month and had become as sour as white wine vinegar. We will never go again!

As this restaurant had good reviews on a home delivery website (thuisbezorgd.nl) we decided to order something at this restaurant. To sum it up in a few words: disgusting microwaved food. The spring rolll as a starter consisted of uneatable dough and was filled with very weak bean sprouts and a very few tiny slices of meat (we ordered the spring roll with meat!). After one bite we had to throw this starter away. The Indonesian menu was even more worse. The different portions of meat were fat and of very poor quality. And altough they were different they all tasted the same. The worst however was the Gado Gado. This is a vegetable dish but this was more peanut sauce wit a few weak bean sprouts. This part of the menu has got noting to do with the original. Beside this: the prawn crackers in the Gado Gado were like chewing gum. Clearly microwaved. And to make the disaster complete: we had ordered (and payed for) fried rice and got the normal rice. We threw almost everything away. This food has got nothing to do with Asian food (or any food at all). They are on the same price level as the other restaurants so the will have to work very hard to come on the same quality level. We will never order here again.

Terrible, ordered at 5:45 PM and called again at 7:35 PM to find out where the order was. Do you get a poorly Dutch-speaking Chinese on the phone with all kinds of excuses? the kitchen is too small, too many orders, normally on Sundays there is a waiting time of 1.5 to 2 hours. When asked if my order is on its way, I get the answer no, it still has to be made. Takes 10 minutes and then another 10 minutes to bring. This is bad, you don't do business like that or you state on the website how long you will wait, or you mention it with the reservation number. In short, after the promise within 20 minutes, it is now 8 p.m. and yes, I have not seen or heard anything yet. Sad if you have to run your restaurant like this, for us as regular customers it was the last time we ordered.

Meat was fermenting > rotten. Called 2 days later. I order one every week for myself and the gentleman also claims that I was screwing my neck otherwise he could have 'looked at it'. How not customer focused can you be? And besides, typical lazy staff, it can't be long before this place is extinct with their "creative approach".
