New York Pizza in Bijlmer Centrum (D,F,H)

I've rarely seen a pizzeria with so many incompetent people. There were nine of these people in the shop: two of them were working in slow motion, two were on their phones/opening their Snapchats, and the other five were entertaining each other. And this was during a quiet night. I have no idea what disastrous consequences this would have if it were ever busy. I waited an excruciatingly long time for my pizza, which, by New York pizza standards, was actually quite good. But yeah, how do you mess that up? I would strongly advise against getting food here, especially if you have to catch a bus in 30 minutes. There is an upside: while you have to wait for your next bus, you have a warm spot in the shop, because you get to wait another 20 minutes. Not the best move if you want to get home that same day. Give these people a kick in the ass and clean that place up, because it looks awful. Once again, the pizza itself was delicious, I picked it up. Best regards

I have ordered several times from here. They take about 2 hours to deliver a simple pizza. They dont answer at all. Also the service is really bad. Once they didnt even had sugar for an Oreo bread. let me say that again They didnt have SUGAR. Newyork pizza should really consider changing the way things work in this location

Dear [New York Pizza], On [1/11/2025], I placed an order around 8:00 PM. I indicated in the order that I would pay the exact amount. Around 8:30 PM, I received a call with the same question, to which I confirmed again that I would pay the exact amount. I was then told that the delivery driver would leave immediately, even though the distance to my address was a maximum of five minutes. Around 9:00 PM, I had to call myself to ask where my order was. I was then told that it should have already been delivered. They then said that a new pizza would be made and delivered within 15 minutes, with only a drink as compensation. I find this very disappointing, especially since this isn't the first time the service has been disappointing. I hope you take this seriously and offer a suitable solution. Sincerely, ..

When you order a pizza, it's arriving 1H later, and most important COLD. Plus the delivery guy arrived and was handling the pizza on the side, ( if it would have been fresh, everything would have fall appart, but I guess he already knew that it was cold) TERRIBLE for the image of the brand.....

The most incompetent NYP in Amsterdam. It takes an hour and a half to deliver a pizza, it's cold, and it's not even the right pizza. Whoever's running this place should be fired, and the head office should really look into this. Disgraceful.

Tried to pick up the pizza at the requested time and then waited for over an hour in an empty store, smelled of chemicals and had to ask 3 times when my pizzas were ready and it only took 3 minutes the whole time

BAD SERVICE! I ordered a pizza and mini bites, and Ben & Jerry's ice cream on the side. Ben & Jerry's never arrived, and I called about it, and they said they were on their way, but it was already closing time. Lies, lies, never again.

Ordered a pizza it took over a hour till it was delivered, the pizza was stone cold last time I’m ordering here.

I ordered this afternoon for 6:15. I only just got my food because it was supposed to be busy. It's the same at work, and we only have a half-hour break, but they don't care. I called twice. The delivery driver was supposed to be on his way, but after 20 minutes, still no one. Even though the shop is 4 minutes away, the delivery driver didn't show up until 20 minutes later. When we told them they were late, we were told they'd only just received the order. Which wasn't true; the driver started shaking his head strangely, and we told him not to be so smart, so the delivery driver wanted to argue with us. Even though the person on the phone had already said they were on their way 20 minutes earlier. Definitely not a second time! The pizza is half cold!

The first order went wrong; they didn't show up, and I got a call saying they'd delivered to the wrong address (?). Since the store was closing, they could only deliver another pizza. I eventually agreed, but it never arrived. I called a day later and got my money back plus a discount or something on my next order. The second order went fine, and it was pretty good. But this time I ordered the Korean Chicken Hot Honey pizza. Unfortunately, I didn't take a picture, but damn, what a monstrosity it was. Nothing like the picture; half the ingredients weren't there. And there were only two pieces of chicken. The pizza was actually just covered in the fried chicken coating. By the way, the delivery guy was a nice guy, so I can't fault him there. I would definitely order from Domino's again!

I had a pizza and korean chicken both tasted really good. I ordered it online via homepage with delivery to my Hotel. It took a while, but for me it wasn't so bad because in Germany where I live the delivery is always very late. The delivery was succesful because the driver Googled the adress which was very thoughtful. He was very kind. I would definetly order again next time I am in Amsterdam :)

Incredibly poor customer service and food that makes dominos look like a Michelin star eatery. Me and my friend Camila were robbed of 50€ because of their inability to take an order properly, unwillingness to make a refund after a clear and obvious error of their systems, and an unmitigated failure to take responsibility for their mistakes. New York “Pizza” is seconded only to the mob in how they have slandered the name of that great city, and these crooked cooks are equal at least in their propensity to swindle hardworking people. Don’t go here, avoid where you can.

I have been waiting over a year for a refund for a 50 euro order that I was double charged for. Despite calling the branch immediately to cancel the order due to a technical issue on the website which charged me twice and receiving confirmation that this would be refunded on the phone, I have spent months contacting New York Pizza's customer service team who have not been able to provide me with a resolution. Extremely disappointing to not be contacted with a solution by the branch after a year of chasing this up. Despite my patience, as it is now a year, you have my one star. Thanks for the robbery!

I got everything I have hoped for. My expectations have been 100% satisfied. The pizza was 4/5 and the Chicken + Calzone was 5/5. Especially for that last minute order more than just a hero of the day. Chicken bites were rich in meat too.

The atmosphere of the place is not the greatest if you’re looking for an “experience”, but these guys work hard, make terrific pizza, are respectful, and look good while doing it. Blessed be these employees.

Today we had a very unpleasant experience at your store. One of the employees was wearing AirPods while working, so he couldn’t hear us when we asked for something. When we finally got his attention, he was indifferent and downright rude. There was a very unpleasant atmosphere around him, as if we were disturbing him by being there at all. It made us feel like we weren’t welcome. We ended up leaving quickly without buying anything, simply because the vibe was so negative. We normally like coming to New Yorker, but this experience makes us want to go to another store — or not come back at all, as long as this kind of behavior is accepted. Customer service should really be a priority, especially (especially) with young and trendy staff.

Absolute rubbish, this place, I went there to get a pepperoni pizza They got my order and after 20 mins of waiting The guy who took my order came to me and said what are you doing here ???? I said I'm waiting for my pizza?? and the Guy who took my order literally 20 mins ago said did you order it ??!!!! I paid 23,50€ for the "maak je eigen pizza". I asked crème fraiche, feta, oregano also but they aren't on it at all, i asked onion but there are only about 4 small piece of onion....because of the missing crème fraiche there is only some oily base because of the vegan meat and the small amount of cheese so it is totally dry. Why can I make my own pizza if they miss the ingredients??? Especially the base also... what can i say.

I should have read the reviews before ordering. I spent €22 on cold pizza and a tiny garlic bread, the delivery was 45 min after deliver expected time and I had to wait downstairs in the rain because they “couldn’t find it”. And my pizza wasn’t cut! Never again. I’ll go back to Dominos!

very bad service, have to call them several times and even asked me to go downstairs to pick up. They said I got the wrong address but all my other orders were delivered correctly. Very bad experience very bad delivery.

I've had to call twice to remind them about my order. They don't track the orders. This service isn't worth it. And, they forgot stuff second time already. This is what happens when a business runs on underpaid teenagers.

Surprisingly, the corner is busy, probably because of the coffee shop next door. The prices are neither very high nor particularly cheap – okay for what is on offer. Unfortunately the pizza wasn't to my taste. I ordered a vegetarian pizza, which didn't really impress me. I probably wouldn't go there again, but in times of need the devil eats flies.

Have been ordering a pizza here every now and then for years, but tonight was the last time. A few weeks ago I waited 2 hours for my pizza and they finally credited me with a pizza for the wait. Very nice gesture. Tonight I claim the pizza, but after an hour of waiting nothing. I call; forget. Never again. This is absurd.

Maybe just close your store would be a much better idea if you manage to deliver the pizza all cold and nasty after 1.5 hours of waiting on a non-weekend regular non-rainy day?

Waited 1.5 hours for my pizza. When you call, they say it will be there within 20 minutes, which is a lie. It can of course happen that it takes longer, but this happens almost every time. It's a real shame because the pizzas are tasty.

Waited 3 hours for 1 pizza. How is it possible. I always think the pizzas themselves are great, that's not the reason. But their delivery always takes a very long time. I'm also writing this review because this happens too often and hopefully things will change!

Employees do not wear gloves or wash their hands. They're piling up delivery pizza while the customers who ordered in-store wait for 30-40 min. Will not be coming back here ...

De enige reden waarom ik 2 sterren geef en niet 1 is omdat degene met wie ik telefonisch contact had nog enigszins probeerde mij te woord te staan. Maar 1,5 uur wachten op 2 pizza’s gaat voor mij echt te ver. En daarbovenop kreeg degene aan de telefoon (Ferdinand) de koerier ook niet te pakken. Geen idee waarom de levering dus zo lang duurde. Kwam ook geen excuses ofzo uit toen hij eenmaal voor de deur stond. Ik werd alleen een beetje dom aangekeken. Please for the love of god leer het personeel hier communicatieve vaardigheden ! Tot slot geef ik 2 sterren en niet 1 omdat Ferdinand voor mij heeft genoteerd dat ik 1 pizza tegoed heb voor een volgende keer. Dat waardeer ik, maar het zal gelijk ook de laatste zijn want de service en levertijd hier is zó bagger! Erg jammer dit

De pizza kwam 50 minuten later dan het afgeleverd had moeten zijn. Het duurde totaal 2 uur terwijl de afstand tot de New York Pizza 500meter is. De pizzadeeg was net gaar wat de smaak niet ten goede kwam. Ik raad het af om hier te bestellen als je binnen 1:30 uur je pizza wilt hebben.

2x pizza besteld om ter plaatse op te eten. Eentje van de kaart en eentje naar wens met eigen keus. Binnen 15 min zaten wij n heerlijke pizza te eten, mooie bodem voor het concert van Kensington. Heb wel als opmerking dat de prullenbak overvol zat. Maar de pizza's waren lekker!

Voor de thuiswedstrijd van Ajax hier enkele slices pizza gehaald met een frisdrank. Ondanks de drukte waren de pizza's prima bereid en goed van smaak. Niks mis mee!

Geen schaarste aan ingrediënten bij deze NYP, de bodem inclusief toppings is ongeveer 25% dikker dan bij andere vestigingen. De temperatuur is alleen dan wel iets minder als je een punt bestelt.

Fantastische ervaring met een leuk team. De sfeer binnen vond ik heel leuk. Het eten was lekker en personeel beleefd.

Echt kom op man ik bestel altijd met chili flakes erop wat doen ze dan ze vergeten het volgende dag bellen om te melden. Ze bieden mij dan nog netjes een nieuwe pizza aan MET de chili flakes erop en een groter pizza. Vervolgens bel je een uur later om te vragen waat het blijft. Blijkt het nie eens gemeld te zijn naar de keuken. Vervolgens bied hij nog een drankje erbij wat mij dan nog best geruststeld. Einstand ze brengen de pizza ZONDER chili flakes ZONDER drank en vanaf daar liet ik het gw. Pizza en al is lekker maar lees ff wat mensen willen

The pizza itself was quite nice and they have a fairly large menu. I was put off by the long wait for food. We ordered right after two people in front of us, but they both received and ate their food in the time it took for us to get ours. Also they offer deals for pizzas which are a certain unit of measurement, but when ordering they only offered "medium or large", neither of which were a part of the deal and so we ended up paying more than expected

Solide Pizza mit dicken Teig. US-Style eben. Leider fehlte es mir bei Pizzen, wie Triple Peperoni und Mexican Hot & Spicy, einfach an Schärfe.
