New York Pizza in IJburg Zuid

The delivery guy (boy) was extremely rude and I could hear him curse in Dutch the moment he stepped foot into our garden. Moreover, the food was cold, greasy, and it took significantly longer than the 25 minutes displayed on the app. Never ordering here again! It’s a waste of money and there are several friendier and tastier alternatives on IJburg.

Received the wrong pizza. At the store, they indicated that the oven was turned off and no new pizza could be made. To receive a refund, you have to send an email.

The food was VERY cold. I waited FOUR hours for my order. It was only 2 small pizzas and when it arrived, I checked my order immediately and the delivery person was very rude, and when I opened it I saw that my chicken drumsticks were suddenly half gone. Did I also see that my sauce was open? And when I looked at the delivery person I saw that there were still food remnants around his mouth. He was a short Moroccan young man, with his long hair pulled back, and he pushed the order into my hands when I spoke to him.

i mean, come on guys... that's like 1 pepperoni per slice

I placed an order 2 hours ago and the food still hasn't arrived. This has happened to me quite often at New York Pizza. NEVER order here.

You pay extra for loaded pepperoni pizza and get the same amount of pepperoni as a normal pizza. Scandalous :(

Ordered a pizza, waited 2.5 hours for nothing. Never received a pizza and still haven't received a refund. When I called, there was no answer. No updates on the delivery driver's whereabouts either. A terrible experience. DO NOT ORDER HERE!

Pizzas used to be well-topped. For the past few years, it's been a SEARCH for the toppings and a SEARCH for the flavor. The toppings are minimal. What you mostly buy is a dry, oven-baked piece of dough with a tiny sprinkle of topping 🔍 Frozen pizzas for a few euros from the supermarket or for a few euros more from the refrigerated section are much tastier (more toppings, more flavor). I wonder when New York Pizza will go bankrupt. Nobody eats this these days, do they?

After three years it is still not possible to have it delivered to the herring tube dike (lock house)

Hi. In April 2025, I placed one order here. I don't often order from NY Pizza, but I generally like their products very much. My order consisted of a 4 cheese, 40 cm NY Style Pizza, and x20 crispy chicken wings, for takeout. The ready time was quick, like under 15 minutes, maybe even under 10 minutes, and it matched very well with the time window they shared via the website. Visually, all looked good. See the pics of the boxes and how the food looked in them. Taste, however, was a disappointment for me. The pizza seemed to have all ingredients, but was bland. No taste; I don't know how that happens. Also, the garlic sauce that I ordered on the borders (is standard) seemed to have no effect, as if it was absent. I don't know why I ate this pizza. The crispy chicken wings had a delicious taste of the crust, like, that is the target taste. However, it wasn't well stuck to the meat. It was, in part, piling off on its own as the wings moved, and it was too easy to separate them. The meat was on the verge of what I could eat. I am not an expert, and I want to believe they prepped the meat well, but it was again so bland (also as chicken), and maybe the word is watery that, again, I wondered why I would eat it. It was edible, but not something enjoyable. My stomach wasn't happy with it, but I had no problems after eating these products. Altogether, I can't give this experience more than a 2/5.

Your standard quick pizza delivery and take away. The people are nicer than the food.

I had to wait 1.5 hours for my pizza, and when it finally came, I got an ice cold pizza. If you want a nice hot pizza that is delivered on time. You should definitely not order here. And there was no taste to it.

Worst pizza I've ever had in Amsterdam. The delivery took far too long and the pizza arrived cold and hard. Really, we shouldn't have to pay for something inedible that ends up in the trash. DON'T GET PIZZA HERE.

The pizza that was delivered seemed like it had been sitting out for days. Gross! Staff were rude about the wait time for delivery just down the road. Not worth it, I should have paid attention to the other reviews.

Great pizza. I accidentally checked pick up somewhere (without knowing) while I wanted to have it delivered. I called and within 15 minutes someone was at the door with my pizza. Top!!

Your delivery person hit me with their motorcycle while swerving on the SIDEWALK. Thankfully I am alright but he could've hit a child. He did not even stopped to apologize. I don't care how fast you have to deliver but do not ride on the sidewalk and hit people!

Taking long and pizza arrives cold. In this time you can just go to the supermarket and buy a frozen one. In both scenarios you have to heat it in the oven so that you can eat it.

I first had to wait almost 2 hours for a pizza, buffalo wings and drinks. Then they forgot the drinks and never came back. This is not the first time, but it will certainly be the last for me.

NYP is not very tasty. The garlic cheesy contains a lot of pieces of frozen garlic. Furthermore, most pizzas (e.g. pulled chicken) have little taste. The BBQ pizza way too much sauce. The pizza deliverers are not always friendly, especially that light-skinned boy with a black ponytail. Plus the lady who usually answers the phone comes across as very unfriendly and grumpy.

Pizza delivered against my dietary requests so we couldn't even eat it.

Heerlijke pizzas, stuk beter dan dominos, sws ff proberen. Meestal gewoon lekker snel en anders is het het wachten wel waard. Caprese is echt een aanrader!

They make very good pizzas. I don't know that why people rate them bad. They put enough toppings on the pizza. Only bad thing about their pizza is that it is very oily and unhealthy. Every time i eat from New York pizza i get chest burns because of the spicy toppings they put in the pizza. Try hot vegetable pizza. Its Tasty! Highly recommended

Fantastische pizza tent. De pizzas waren vorige keer een paar uur te laat door drukte en ze hebben het goed gemaakt door onze volgende bestelling gratis te maken. Amazing. Ook heerlijke pizzas. Top!!!!!!!
