New York Pizza in Westlandgracht

Don't eat if you order chicken the employees eat half of it and I see it happening all the time here don't eat or order if the oven has just come out they are already eating it

Ordered pizza to our hotel. Was told it was dropped at reception. Went to reception, nothing received. Order remains incomplete on Uber eats and we have tried to call the store and they are not assisting us and now not picking up. DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS PLACE.

We always order from this branch for our staff. Always friendly, fast and most importantly well filled and tasty pizzas! Thanks again toppers!

FIRST they tried to charge me more, assuming because i’m a tourist so thought id be unaware, then i ordered a pesto pizza which i then went back to my hotel and where’s my pesto on my PESTO PIZZA nowhere

I had an issue with the website which selected the wrong address for delivery. I was calling the store for 30 minutes until they picked up and told me that they cannot do anything even it is 1) the website's fault and 2) their fault for not picking up for 30 minutes. As a customer I am disappointed and frustrated by this behavior and losing almost 35 euros for something that it is entirely the business fault but noone is talking responsibility. Used to be a customer of NY pizza very often but will never use them again after this. Mediocre pizza anyway.

Top service, called twice to inquire about my order. I noticed that they were busy but was kept informed. Friendly staff and tasty pizzas!

Surprised with all the negative reviews. Had a genuinely lovely experience, served by a super nice person, everyone seemed to be working hard and the food was super tasty - the opposite of everything I’ve read. Had to leave a review because based on my experience it’s absolutely worth coming here.

Pizzas had not even been given to the delivery person after 1.5 hours. When my friend called to ask why it was taking so long, they were rude to him, saying it would take another 20min. My friend then came to pick up the pizzas. Pizzas seemed ok but had weird urine smell and also had strange taste after a few bites - we didn't eat them. I definitely wouldn't recommend ordering anything here.

Stopped by on my way at 22.03. Was told they are closed, although google says 22.30, and they were preparing online orders.

The pizza tastes okay because it's the same ingredients although it's often cold and has very little topping. They are always closed an hour early or when I walk in they say they are closing for whatever fake reason they can come up with that time, never good service, looks like they never wanna work, they all sit on chairs doing nothing. I have a feeling they close early because they want to, not because there is something wrong with the store. I once called because the store was closed already at 21:30 but I tried anyway and some guy half asleep picked up. Other locations "can't" deliver for whatever reason. New York Pizza needs to do something about this.

The app indicated that the order had already been delivered, after calling several times the food finally arrived an hour later. The pizza was okay but not super tasty. In short, we won't do this anymore.

Pizza is okay and the staff behind the counter is sometimes friendly, but usually not. Even less nice are the young people, including the delivery people, who often stand at the door and scold and intimidate everyone and everything, and who scold a friendly man who passed by for his orientation and who then also whistle and scold my partner and me.

Very good pizza, you eat what you pay for. Garlic bread is recommended. All pizzas are suitable for those allergic to nuts. The place is very clean.

Really terrible, the guys who made pizza didn't even want to work, 2 were on the phone and one on their own business. After a couple of minutes of waiting we ate the worst pizza ever... The place was dirty and there were a lot of people going in and out of the back of the shop. Really ugly not recommended. After the exorbitant price they charged us, it was a waste even having to throw it away, because it is inedible.

My pizza never came, after contacting the restaurant I got information that I needed to pick it up by myself, but no one gave me a chance to. Never again only lost money.

This place looks like a community center. They are very unsanitary and customer unfriendly.

Staying in nearby hotel which didn’t serve food and after a long day sightseeing thought we would get a pizza for the room! Saw the reviews but gave them a shot anyway, so glad we did! Staff serving was friendly and helpful. Pizza done within 10 minutes (had half of one type and half another) it was DELICIOUS!!! I would highly recommend!

I hope NYP franchise manager reads this. The pizzas are fine but the one time I went for take out it was underwhelming. The place is quite messy but the staff are just a bunch of kids, using swear words in between their many chats. They didn’t pick up the phone and were saying ‘why can’t people order online’. You’re losing money with this kind of crew and the whole experience does not make me want to go back there.

Stayed in the Best Western on holiday near to the pizza place. We ordered a Hawaii pizza and it was superb. Everything was fresh and the pineapple was tasty. Wasn’t greasy just cooked right. The pizza was good value and not expensive compared to what you would pay going into Amsterdam centre. Would highly recommend. Hopefully see New York Pizza branch out in the UK to give competition to Dominos and Pizza Hut.

Ben meestal niet fan van New york pizza maar deze was echt heerlijk. Het enige wat wel jammer was was dat er niet heel veel mogelijkheden zijn om op een leuke plek buiten te eten(en voor zover ik me herriner kon binnen eten ook niet). Het personeel was opzich wel aardig maar moest wel lang wachten voor ik aan de buurt kon. Desondanks ben ik blij met de pizza want die was heerlijk. Heb een leuke dag gehad.

Easy for first time travelers to Amsterdam. Greasy, cheesy and very tasty. Decent value for money. Quick.

Ordered a pizza here and they forgot something. After contact they made it more than right! A fault can happen to everybody but they dealt with it perfectly, good service!

I don't know wat others are saying but the one experience i had here so far was very nice. Workers are fast and if not they gave us a complimentary coke for free. I my self didn't think it took that long. The pizza it self was very good and 1 of the best i had anywhere.

Depends on what you order, the basic pizzas are the best according to my opinion, complicated orders are prone to be messed up by this chain from my experience. Keep it simple

Als ik een zesde ster kon geven, hadden ze die zeker van mij gekregen! Klantvriendelijk, servicegericht en snel. Ik heb heel wat pizza's gegeten over letterlijk heel de wereld, van Amsterdam tot Noord Afrika, California en Zuid-Amerika, en deze mensen kunnen pizza's maken. Dan heb ik het nog niet eens over het personeel gehad want die ga je echt nergens anders tegenkomen - onmogelijk! Supervriendelijk en hebben er altijd zin in. Aanrader van de buurman.. BBQ meat lovers met Italiaanse bodem 👌🏼

Ik mocht als 1 van de eersten NYP Delflandplein een New York Pizza proberen. Ik kan alleen maar zeggen: TOP! Vooral New York Style bodem kan ik aanraden. Heel fijn om een pizzeria op loopafstand te hebben :-)

This evening I ordered three pizza’s from this place. Great service at the phone and the pizza’s were well delivered, even before schedule and they were absolutely delicious. I would really recommend this NYP! In the future, I am going to order again.
