New York Pizza in De Mare

Ordered dinner for 9:30 PM, and after half an hour of not receiving anything, we called. And guess what? "Welcome to NY Pizza, we're currently closed." No pizza, no contact. And a €40 order gone missing.

A terrible place, I had to wait over an hour and a half for a cold pizza. Really great, thank you. This has happened before. Last time for me, I'll try Domino's again next time 🤝

We bought two very tasty pizzas to go here on Sunday, July 6th, 2025, at a great price. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Free parking. Therefore, we highly recommend them! 😃👌

Don't order pizza here, very expensive for the quality you get. I ordered a pizza with double buffalo mozzarella and regular mozzarella, €18 and I got a burnt base, with dried out cheese on top... I immediately called to have the pizza rebaked, I was told that they had done what I ordered and that they could therefore not help me in the store... I was told that you can file a complaint... I am not solving my hunger with a complaint... when I asked if they could rebake and deliver it, I got a hard NO as an answer and the connection was broken... in short, €18 poorer and no dinner... never experienced such bad service! I will never order from here again!

Working without a name when you order in the store so you have to ask if it is ready and someone will look behind if it is ready 😭 Pizzas are way too expensive!!!. At Domino's half the price the same pizza.s even. Old fashioned approach there of everything. zero. zero everything

I also want to share some very positive experiences. I've ordered several times. Always on time, always hot and delicious, and always a friendly delivery driver. Rain or shine. Highly recommended.

Great pizza but, the open way too late especially on weekends. Everytime I want to order a pizza it's around lunch time but I always end up canceling at the last minute because they only open past 4pm. So I barely order from here anymore.

Pizza is always tasty. But what a ball.. now ordered pizza 4 times, each time waiting more than half an hour after the indicated time. Why let people choose a time if you are way late every time? Next time we'll go back to the dominos👍🏻

Ordered 2 gyros pizzas for the 2nd time, 1st time was fantastic March 9, 2023 and now March 26, 2023 worthless more tomato sauce and onions than the expected gyros I will never order pizza from New York again and then you call and no excuses

Pizza was mediocre, bit burnt and hard. Ordered 2 portions of chicken wings and I think the oven was off for half the time. They were soggy and still white, not crispy at all. When you take this out of the oven you will see that they can be put back in straight away...

Got 3 pizzas on Thursday April 8. All self-collection pizzas of 25 cm cost €5 each. I paid $30 for it. The employee does not know the difference between vegetarian and veggie. And the worst part is lying all evening and night, it is now 2:30 am, dying of stomach pain. Hygiene is therefore hard to find.

The shawarma pizza in the mare is not tasty. It is too greasy or the garlic sauce is too watery. It drips from the pizza and if you look at the box it looks like semen. At Dominos it tastes very good and has better toppings. shawarma sandwitch is highly recommended in New York, it is very tasty and the bozorgers are also friendly.

What a bunch of failures work in Alkmaar de mare... Reading a receipt on how to make a pizza is already wrong. Submitted a complaint 10 times in 1 year... but fixing errors is a problem! The same every time! Every time we don't eat together and we have to wait for the right pizza... or we have to pay too much... or like now I showed him the door... wrong pizzas and pay too much again... kids who want quick money work here. earn... but this kind of staff costs so much money... people you want to have to wait a long time to order your pizza... oh people with an ALLERGY better not order because that is where it ALWAYS goes! wrong!

Ordered 2 pizzas on a normal Friday evening. Delivery time was good. Two pizzas with curled salami, half burnt. 3 sad children. Damn Tasty!! It was inedible, so bad, you can't even deliver it. Next time I will go to Domino's again, it is next door, much tastier, much tastier. What a travesty that New York Pizza. Damn Tasty🤮🤮🤮🤮

Delivered late and also the wrong pizza

Placed the order at 5:30 PM. Delivery time was promised at 6:00 PM. Called customer service at 6:31 PM to ask if the pizzas were still coming. Still no pizzas received at 7:15 PM. I called customer service again who referred me to the relevant branch. Nothing could be done for us there and it was simply waved away with a short apology. Never before had to wait so long (80 minutes after promised delivery time..!!) for an order. Never bothered to write such a review before, but this was too sad for words. The first and definitely last order at New York Pizza. Short note: Pizzas were lukewarm, half of them were left behind and the delivery person seemed to think it was the most normal thing in the world that it was delivered so late.

I order a pizza here every now and then. Always delivered quickly and nice and hot. The one with goat cheese, arugula and pine nuts is delicious
