🍕❄️ Unfortunately, almost always cold pizzas I order regularly from New York Pizza in Breda, but unfortunately, my experience lately has been very disappointing. The pizzas almost always arrive cold 🚗📦❄️. As a result, the crust becomes tough and eating it is anything but pleasant 😕. Sometimes you really have to chew hard, which can even cause jaw pain 😣. When the pizza *is* delivered warm 🔥🍕, it tastes fine and there is actually little to complain about 👍. Unfortunately, that happens only rarely. It seems like the delivery driver has to serve multiple addresses throughout the city 🛵🗺️. If you are not one of the first addresses on the route, there is a good chance your pizza will only arrive when it has already cooled down considerably 🥶. At that moment, it feels more like you are eating a frozen pizza than a freshly prepared meal ❄️🍕. I hope that more attention will be paid to the delivery routes and the temperature of the pizzas upon arrival 📦🌡️. Because a warm pizza really makes a world of difference 🙏🍕.

Yesterday, June 24, I ordered pizza online. I asked if it could still be combined with an online deal I forgot to click on. The lady indicated that this wasn't possible because my pizza would be ready in 5 minutes. I arrived, and my pizza wouldn't go down until I walked inside. Lying is unnecessary, something I don't like. I have been coming here for years, but today was my last day. I expect my money back in my bank account within 5 working days, as agreed. And hanging up on me completely ruined it.

I ordered 4 gluten-free pizzas and was called shortly afterwards to say that they are unfortunately no longer available. Annoying, but of course that can happen. I opted to get my money back, but unfortunately, to date, I have never received anything back, despite many attempts.

I ordered 2 pizzas in the evening, but only 1 arrived. This was late at night, so I understand that I didn't receive it that evening (which is already strange). I called back the next day, was called a liar three times, and they didn't keep their promises. Don't order here, bad business.

I would not recommend anyone order from here. The pizzas are mediocre and very expensive for the price. The service is very poor. I ordered B&J ice cream and it was not delivered. I was instructed to call the location to arrange this. I have been waiting 1.5 months for a refund for the B&J ice cream I paid for, which I have not received. The owner of this location does not respond to any reminders. So, do not order here, or only pay at the door after you have checked the entire order for completeness and quality.

Lovely and really cozy atmosphere 10/10

I gave this branch a chance four times. Four times. Because apparently, I am an optimist with a short memory. Something went wrong with every order. Not once, not twice, just every. single. time. It seems like the staff has a bet going on about how creatively they can ruin my evening. For instance, one time someone else's order was delivered to my home. Completely wrong. Another time, I called to ask where my order was, and they blithely said they couldn't find it. "Just order again," they said. I did. After which BOTH orders appeared at my door. So the order that "didn't exist" actually did exist, and I just had to pay for it twice. Top-notch service. But the very best part is the delivery person who is "on the way." The branch is a 5-minute bike ride from my house. Five minutes. And yet it takes 40 minutes. I don't know what that man is doing on the road, but delivery is clearly not part of the plan. And on the phone, they just keep repeating that he is on his way. Honey, it’s not happening. You’re just lying. I love New York Pizza as a brand, but this location is downright embarrassing. Had enough chances.

Super service, accidentally ordered ASAP pickup but wanted to pick up the pizzas an hour later. The woman who answered said it was no problem and that she would make new pizzas for me. Very nice!

Bad service, will tip more for everything, your food arrives too late

The 2 pizzas we ordered were lukewarm, almost cold. Also barely topped and delivered late. Tried to contact customer service twice, without a response.

On Friday afternoon, I placed an order for 2 pizzas that were supposed to be delivered between 19:15 and 19:30. At 19:45, it said the order was completed, but the pizzas hadn't arrived yet, so I called the shop to ask where they were. The employee indicated that the delivery driver was on the way and that I just needed to be patient. By then it was 20:00, so I called the shop again and was told that the delivery driver was still on the way, so I asked if something could be done about it, having spent almost 40 euros on 2 pizzas. The employee said no, that's not possible; it's the weekend, so it's busy. That's it. At 20:15, I received a call from the delivery driver, who said he couldn't find the address and that he was standing in an alleyway somewhere? I walked downstairs and went outside to look for the alley, only to find the delivery guy standing at the wrong door scrolling on his phone. I pointed out that the pizzas were mine and that my home was on the other side of the street (city center), to which the guy replied: "Oh, so this isn't your address? .... Maybe using navigation on your mobile is more convenient than TikTok while delivering, but anyway." The pizzas were cold, inedible, and I spent nearly 40 euros on a lousy service where I even had to walk to an alley myself to pick up my pizza, while paying delivery fees for doorstep delivery. I want my money back because I won't be ordering from here again.

The order was incomplete; they blithely accepted the money anyway and claimed that the missing items would still be delivered by another branch, within 15 minutes. After waiting 60 minutes, I called the branch. I got an extremely rude young lady on the line. She couldn't deliver any of what I had ordered, nor did she have the decency to call about it herself; she blamed the delivery person. When I said that I wanted a refund for the products that hadn't been delivered, I was told to just call head office. This is obviously not possible, and I have now been asking for over a month when I will get my money back, with the reception answering constantly: "It has been forwarded to someone higher up and we will pass this on to you when we hear from you." Well, perhaps I will see my money back in 15 years. But as a sensible person, I would certainly NOT ORDER FROM THESE SCAMMERS!!!! THE QUALITY IS JUST AS TERRIBLE AS THEIR SERVICE!!!! Domino's is 10,000% better in terms of quality and friendlier in their entire service.

Ordered a pizza on March 22. More than half of the ingredients were missing from the pizza. Tried to call, but no one answered. Filed a complaint with head office "wait 48 hours for the franchisee to contact you" MARCH 22...

It took way too long and the pizza was not what I had ordered.

The worst experience ever: I ordered a two pizza’s for New York pizza I waited almost 2 hours and in the takeaway app said that the order is delivered ( but I didn’t receive anything) so I called them and they told me “ its on the way”. When I left my house to throw my trash I saw my order in front of my neighbours door thrown and opened on the floor.

One of the best pizza restaurants in Breda, I often come here for takeaway.

Wrong toppings or missing ingredients, random packets of sauces that don't belong. Then you call and are told indifferently that they will bring new ones as soon as possible, and after 2.5 hours you never heard anything again. Terrible experience! Definitely do not order anything.

Ordered 2 pizzas and received 1, which was also the wrong pizza. It was completely cold and very tough, without tomato sauce. I would describe it as cardboard with a cheese flavor. So I would absolutely not recommend this.

Worst experience ever. Me and my boyfriend were coming back from Rotterdam to Breda. So we ordered a pizza for a specific time, for which we knew we would be home. The delivery driver comes 20 minutes earlier, asking where are we. Second time he calls we are around the corner 5 minutes before the time it was supposed to come. We come home no sign of the delivery. We could not call the driver so we decided to wait because we are understanding and things happen. However, after 45 minutes of waiting we wanted to cancel it and get our money back. We called them, and got met with accusations that we were the ones that were in the wrong and there was nothing they could do about it. We were lovers of the place but after being treated this way, no more.

Ordered through Thuisbezorgd! One of the ingredients in the order was missing, and they politely sought a solution. I decided to cancel because Thuisbezorgd was unreachable, so I called that branch again the next day to ask how to handle the issue. They were very helpful again, and since the ingredients were now available (due to allergies), the order was delivered! Careful, friendly, and helpful!

Update 9-11-2025 Ordered 2 pizzas just after 4 p.m. today for 6:00-6:15 p.m. Called at 6:40 p.m. to say the status had been "ready for shipment" for over half an hour. Apologies, they were going to make it again and could expect the pizzas, with a little something extra, around 7 p.m. Still nothing at 7:30 p.m., and I've called three times now, but no one answers. The phone rings about 30 times and then goes to a "not reachable" tone. Now, at 8:30 p.m., I still haven't heard anything. I've ordered from Spareribexpress, received it within 20 minutes, and have had a delicious meal. Updated Nov 2023 I've ordered several times now and am very satisfied. On time, delicious, and hot. Nov 2019: I've ordered often, and it's usually good. But the last order really topped it all. This was our last order, a while ago: What did we do Friday night: order a pizza... Ordered before 5 p.m. and it was delivered at 10:45 p.m. A real record! 😋1854 ordered online 😐2011 called because still no pizza. They said it was very busy, but our pizzas were on their way and would be delivered in fifteen minutes. 🤨2048 still no pizza, called again. The employee went to call the delivery driver to ask where they were. I was put on hold. A good 12 minutes later, I gave up and called again. 😒2102 Someone answered and the call was immediately disconnected. 😕2103 I called again. I explained that there was no pizza yet. I was put on hold, and after about eight minutes, I reached the manager who said they couldn't find the delivery driver. I suggested they might just throw in two new pizzas. The manager says he'll deliver it himself if there's no delivery driver. 😟2157 Indeed, still no pizza. Called again. While I'm on hold again, and I immediately asked for the manager, the doorbell rings. Delivery driver, definitely not the manager, unless you can be the manager of a #NewYorkPizza branch with 15 people, with just one pizza... And cold and tough too. 😤2204 Call again and ask for the manager right away. He's not there, but after discussing it, the employee in question says he'll immediately make two new pizzas and deliver them personally. (Where have I heard that before...) 🤤2245 PIZZA! Two pizzas, hot and delicious! The delivery driver isn't the employee I spoke to, and this guy explains that a delivery driver broke his leg that evening. I don't know if it was ours, but if so, that's very frustrating, of course. This guy immediately says there were two accidents. That makes it less believable. It's also a shame they didn't mention that earlier over the phone. I understand if that happens; nobody can do anything about it. It's a shame it went so wrong. Keeping people on hold for so long and making promises you can't keep is simply unacceptable. If there really was an accident, or two, I certainly hope these delivery drivers are okay.

Over and over again, over and over again, bad pizza, cold pizza (I live down the street), wrong items delivered. Only to get someone on the phone who doesn't care. You're better off spending your money elsewhere. Worst location ever 🌟

The staff swears "cancer" and none of them wear hats. There wasn't even any pepperoni early in the evening on a Friday, the first day of the weekend. Next time, I'll try another New York restaurant nearby.

I ordered and prepaid a Pizza for pickup at update: even after several email contacts with management, no reimbursement of My money. This is fraud!! Boschstraat. When arriving, the waiter told me, there was no dough left for making Pizza. It was 19:00h, while the place was open until 2300h! And that the money that I already paid would take 5 working days to be paid back. I won't be back to this place!

I used to order a lot of new york pizza but lately the service has become ridiculous. 1. Orders are missing extras. E.g. If you order extra sauce, 9/10 times you won't get it 2. Happy meals for children They almost always forget to bring a toy even though it is part of it. If you indicate this, the delivery person will say that he will return with one shortly, but they will not return. Happened 3 times already. 3. contact with the branch is ridiculous, always grumpy people on the phone 4. Pizzas sometimes arrive but don't look decent. 5. Do you order extra sauce? 1/5 of the container is then filled with sauce, just enough to cover 1 or maybe 2 pieces of pizza. In short, the pizzas are mediocre, the service is ridiculous and they don't even try to improve. I was a regular customer of theirs, but now I'm going to look for another place where it's better.

Received the wrong pizza that was burnt and arrived in a box that was so broken that the pizza sauce and cheese was on the lid. Received a pizza with the wrong super thin base and it was placed diagonally in the bag, causing all the toppings to slide off. We then tried to call but were on hold for 20 minutes with no response. Food was tasteless, not really warm on arrival (home delivered). Pistachio and oreo bread were not at all as pictured and not tasty either (lots of dough, little topping). The mozzarella calzone mini bites were also 1 large dough ball with little cheese instead of 6 separate balls. Fortunately, finally a normal delivery person.

A friendly Antillean delivery person came to deliver. He arrived a little late as always but eventually came back with an extra cookie!

Ordered 2 pizzas on June 20, of which the base of 1 was not in stock, which of course can happen. So 1 of the 2 pizzas was canceled and money would be refunded. Checked again a week later, no refund. Called the location, the manager indicated that he would send him a payment request via WhatsApp. Fine, done, no response. A week later nothing, reminder sent, no response. A few days later another reminder, indicating that it will be refunded that day. So far nothing has been credited to my account. It's annoying that I have to go through this trouble to get exactly 11 euros back. Wow, that's really hard to sleep on.

The 20 chicken nuggets were only 18 and they had forgotten the chocolate mousse and would be delivered afterwards. Haven't seen anything yet and the phone isn't being answered either. Earn money this way easily. I won't order from here again

Never disappoints! Super fast delivery and reasonably priced, also one of the few who keeps delivery costs low.

Order arrived 45 minutes late and the food was cold upon receipt. What was even more disappointing was the response from the branch when I contacted them. After multiple attempts to reach them, they simply seemed to push the phone away without any willingness to address the problem. After trying all available channels, including contacting head office, all I got was the same response: that they would ask the franchise to contact me. Unfortunately, this never happened, which shows how subpar the customer service really is. Never saw the money back.

Best New York Pizza Just called you and I have honestly never been treated so poorly. Based on several reviews from your customers, you often do this trick as if you had rang the doorbell and called. That you came by and then you cancel the entire order so we worked and then we have no food. When I call I get a preliminary discussion without respect, not coming up with a solution but rather playing the man, really bad, so we don't order from here anymore. again, this isn't your first time doing this. If you can't handle the crowds, be honest and tell them it's a little later than normal. no pointless tricks, I'm done with this

Ordered 2 pizzas plus cola and ice creams, we put clear note on the order how to get to our home. They gave us our pizzas plus cola zero (when we order classic) and ice creams that we did not order. (we wanted vegan Ben and Jerry and we got classic) We call to ask what happen and person was supprised that we did not like cola zero instead of normal - like it is completely normal to send random stuff without communication. They agreed to fix it - they say we gonna send you few cans of cola and fix the ice creams, after a while courier call and guess what he bring. Three cans of Fanta and one vegan ice cream. Ridiculous service. Zero communication.

Called 3 times in 1 week to get money back, you really get no response. Now let's play through the head office. Last time I ordered something there, hopeless service, worthless staff/management!
