I received very pleasant service. I had accidentally ordered takeout from another branch but was still able to pick it up here without extra charge.

I am normally not someone who is quick to write a bad review, but my experience with New York Pizza was so disappointing that I want to share it anyway. I placed an order and assumed it would be delivered within a reasonable time. Unfortunately, that turned out not to be the case at all. In the end, I had to wait more than an hour and a half before my pizza was finally delivered. I find that truly unacceptable, especially considering I live less than 10 minutes away from the branch. What made it even more frustrating was the communication via the order tracker. It had indicated for over 30 minutes that my order was “on its way.” If a delivery driver is actually on their way, you expect the order to arrive within a few minutes, especially at such a short distance. Instead, I just kept waiting without any explanation or update. Because of this, I had no idea if the driver was lost or if something had gone wrong with my order. I fully understand that it can be busy and that delays are sometimes unavoidable. I can certainly understand that. But if it is busy, be honest about it and provide a realistic delivery time. It is much more annoying to constantly see that your order is supposedly on its way, while you then have to wait another half hour. That creates expectations that are not met at all. When the pizza finally arrived, it was no longer at the temperature you would expect. After such a long wait, you at least hope for a warm, fresh pizza, but that was disappointing too. The whole moment you are in the mood for a tasty meal is essentially ruined. What bothers me most is that I live so close by. If someone lives on the other side of town, I can understand a longer delivery time. But if you live less than ten minutes away, a wait of more than an hour and a half is simply inexplicable. Additionally, I would have liked the branch to contact me to explain the delay or offer an apology. A simple phone call or message could have prevented a lot of frustration. As it was, there was complete silence, and I just had to wait myself for my food to finally arrive. All in all, this was a very disappointing experience. I pay for a delivery service that you should expect to be reliable. Long wait times can happen, but poor communication and an unrealistic order tracker only make the experience worse. I hope New York Pizza does something about this and improves the delivery and communication, because this way I will think twice before ordering here again. Unfortunately, this was a very negative experience for me, and based on this order, I cannot recommend this branch.

A pizza is supposed to arrive warm, fresh, and flavorful, but unfortunately, that is rarely the case here. Due to the low temperature, the crust becomes tough and the cheese hard 🧀🥶. Eating it is therefore unpleasant, and sometimes you spend more time chewing than enjoying it 😣🦷. At times, it even causes jaw pain. The frustrating thing is that the pizza itself, when it does arrive warm 🔥🍕, tastes just fine. So, the problem lies not in the quality of the product, but in the delivery 🚗🛵. It seems that one delivery person has to visit many addresses throughout Breda 🗺️🏘️. If you aren't one of the first stops, chances are you'll receive a cooled-down pizza. At that point, it feels more like a reheated frozen pizza than a freshly delivered meal ❄️🍕. Hopefully, they will look into more efficient delivery routes or better ways to keep pizzas warm 📦🌡️, because a warm pizza makes the difference between a satisfied customer 😊 and a disappointing experience 😔. 🍕❄️🚗⭐ Unfortunately, for me, not recommended for the time being.

Placed an order that was 30 minutes late, so I waited a total of 90 minutes. Then the pizzas arrived so cold, and I received the wrong pizza with a hole in it to boot. After that, I called the place, had to call 4 times, and was told they were out of dough and didn't know how long it would take. Tried calling again after an hour but got no answer because they were closed. Absolutely absurd!

Super satisfied with this branch! The pizzas are always nice and fresh and well-topped, exactly as you would expect from New York Pizza. The service is fast and friendly, even during busy times. The location on Boschstraat is also ideal if you are in the city center. Ordering is easy and the wait time is usually short. Definitely recommended if you are in the mood for a good, affordable pizza in Breda!

Today, February 24, 2026, I ordered my pizza at 6:04 PM and indicated I wanted it around 6:45 and 7:00 PM. From now on, just stick to the correct time; people have other things to do in the evening.

Staff just chatting among themselves, or just calling privately while they're making pizza. Very unprofessional! When you call, the line is disconnected. I received the wrong pizza and can't contact anyone. There's no management or proper training for staff, including how to speak to customers. Absolutely terrible!

I don't recommend it. I waited 4 hours for my food. If you can't handle the place, you better close it down.

Well, where do I begin? First of all, the food is fantastic! Every time I order, it arrives nice and hot, and when I pick it up, it's always ready right on time. A real 10 for the food, but also, what amazing staff! When I pick up my food, there's often a young woman named Trinita (if I spelled that correctly). What a thoughtful woman, and always so cheerful. New York Pizza, I've never been disappointed. Keep up the good work! Great team!

What a joke. I don't write reviews often, let alone a negative one, but this is truly pathetic. Ordered a pizza at 6:49 PM. Still no pizza at 7:50 PM. I called and was told the delivery driver was on his way. We live a 5-minute bike ride from this branch. I drove there at 8:30 PM when the delivery driver was supposedly still on his way, but by now you can assume the pizza is cold, especially when it's freezing outside. I asked for a new pizza, but they ran out of cheese... I indicated I wanted a refund, so the order was canceled, but the refund can take up to 14 business days. I wonder if that will even happen. The last few times, the delivery has been poor. Due to poor logistics and unprofessional staff, it's clear that this branch no longer offers the quality we were used to. Judging by the reviews, we're not the only ones with complaints. Just close the branch if you can't guarantee the quality you're so proud of as a company. It was our last visit too!

Don't fall for the €4.99 deal on Too Good To Go. It's a disguised advertisement, "Leftover pizza... will be freshly made for you." Read that again, haha. It's simply a small product made to your order. Why 1 star: Misleading advertising on Too Good To Go. Food: greasy and cooled down upon delivery. Service and atmosphere: The staff consists of rude street kids, often with noisy fat bike gatherings at the back of the store.

I placed an order in mid-August, which kept taking forever. After contacting them several times, it turned out the delivery driver had taken the wrong turn. We were repeatedly promised new delivery times, but to no avail. Finally, I canceled the order by phone, 2.5 hours after the order time, because we had to go to a party. I've since tried numerous times to get my money back, but nothing has been done! So don't order from them; they're unreliable!

What a terrible place! If you can order from somewhere else, I would definitely do so. The delivery driver spent almost two hours preparing our order and "keeps coming." Meanwhile, we told them we couldn't wait another 10 minutes because we had to leave ourselves, and New York Pizza's response was, "Oh yeah, okay, bye."

Ordered a pizza at 6:30 PM. I realized I'd entered the wrong address. I called immediately after sending and gave a different address. The young man who answered gave the new address twice. At 7:30 PM, still no pizza, and I was called to ask if I could open the door because they were at the door. They were still at the wrong address. I called again, apologized, and a fresh new pizza was made and delivered right away. Twenty minutes later, someone was at the correct address with two ice-cold pizzas instead of new ones. I politely called and told them I wanted new ones instead of the cold ones. They said they would make new ones right away, and I offered to pick them up myself. I got there in 10 minutes, and suddenly two new pizzas were ready. (It's been almost two hours since then.) They had put these pizzas in a huge box, in the smallest size. The garlic crust I'd paid for wasn't there, and there was barely any sauce. We got garlic bread with bites cut out of it. Too bad I can't add photos. In case the manager wants to know how the staff treats customers, I have photos! There were all sorts of promises about discounts and who knows what else. No discount for me! Worthless company if you treat your customers like that for two pizzas costing €40.

I picked up food here recently and the atmosphere was so nice, even though they were young people they knew exactly what they were doing. Well done guys, the pizza was delicious.

I ordered two takeaway pizzas. Staff was very friendly and efficient. The pizzas tasted amazing. I would love for a bit more atmosphere and a few low tables so that I could eat my pizza there instead of in my car.

Update was average then poor (2 star) now one star seems too much. Sauces missing despite ticking the box, pizza had a Sauce explosion, delivery driver couldn't care. Ordering is ok. Still a pretty bad experience online when you want to use points a lot to go through, really complicated. Delivery was the worst yet, no hello no nothing just wants to talk on loud speaker to who ever. Didn't tip doesnt deserve it. Pizza way too much Sauce to be a drizzle it looked like a sauce explosion. Cut very unevenly. They definitely don't care there. Sides, no divider in the box garlic bread got smashed up a bit and onto other bits. No Sauce. Even the recipet says met Sauce. Obviously no one checking or cares. Even the garlic bread wasn't cut at all. Overall unless there is a good offer this is very likely my last time ordering for awhile. Only time will tell if they improve but unlikely as its getting worse.

It is always the least tasty New York Pizza in Breda. When I called an hour and a half after my order to ask where the pizza was, I was told in a very rude tone: yes, it is busy, we can't do anything about it. The delivery person just left. And that was not the only time, they have never arrived on time.

Delivery was fast, which is always nice when you're hungry. Crispy base, creamy cheese and spicy pepperoni – just a good, tasty pizza. Definitely worth repeating!

The delivery man who came today didn't feel like it because he didn't greet at all. Wrong delivery delivered which I did not order. But he was already gone without wishing for tasty food. If you go to pick up you have to wait a very long time. Staff seems disinterested. The cannelloni that I eventually received was tasty but way overcooked. All in all, a letdown.

Gisteren (29-12-2022) 3 pizza's besteld; de derde gratis. Pizza's kwamen ruim 20 minuten te laat. Even gebeld en je wordt nou niet bepaald netjes te woord gestaan... ** de maatschappij wordt tegenwoordig gedraaid door tieners; niet bepaald een verbetering ** Toen ze gebracht werden bleken ze allemaal koud te zijn. Dus maar weer even gebeld.. Wederom door iemand anders niet echt netjes te woord gestaan en geen excuses niks. Nou hebben we een oven... maar het is fijner als ze gewoon warm zijn. Betaal ik ook voor! Nu 3 pizza's gratis voor mijn volgende bestelling. Ben ik benieuwd of ze dat dan nog weten 😉 Ik had het netter gevonden als ze het meteen hadden opgelost! Pizza 'Californian veggie' vond ik trouwens écht niet lekker/vreemd van smaak. Deze heeft i.p.v. tomatensaus kaassaus ofzo?? (Staat nergens vermeld).

Goede pizza's, prima service wat betreft bezorging, communicatieve klantenservice, maar het management van Breda (Heksenwiel). Waar gaat het mis? Bij het doen van een bestelling is laatst het bedrag DUBBEL afgeschreven... Na 4 weken kreeg ik het bedrag nog steeds niet zomaar terug en je moet blijven pushen en je betaalgegevens maar blijven doorgeven, mocht je je centen eerlijk teruggestort willen krijgen. Door zo'n niveau van klandizie ga ik niet meer bij NYP bestellen, helaas...

Hot dogs waren niet te vreten taai deeg wat meer op kauwgum leek, jammer , normaal geen klachten, ook de bezorging was veel te laat.

De pizza's zijn erg vet en rommelig gemaakt. Bezorgen duurt ook best lang en kreeg onlangs ook nog helemaal verkeerde pizza's. Voor mij voortaan of zelf pizza maken of van een echte pizzeria.

Quality of pizza is not bad for takeaway fastfood pizza. Pizzas are not always done on time but never a terribly long wait. Staff are pretty friendly. (I'm not familiar with their non-pizza assortment because I find it rather expensive and for the price would rather go with an alternative.)

Beetje jammer dat er vaak wat fout gaat met aanpassingen in de ingrediënten en met de rucola, die is ofwel rot of ze vergeten hem...

Heel vriendelijk geholpen door de jongens en de pizza's waren over heerlijk. Op winkelcentrum Heksenwiel. Bushalte voor de deur! Allerlei andere eettentjes en restaurant op het plein. Voor zowel winkelend publiek als voor de buurtbewoners een must als het om pizza's gaat. Allerlei uitgebreid assortiment en formaten. Wij hadden een kleine pizza per persoon, maar konden hem niet helemaal op. De volgende dag hebben we de vier punten pizza, opgewarmd in de oven. En.... Ze waren nog steeds over lekker! Hmmm. Echte aanrader dus.

The two vegan options shockingly bad. Vegan shoarma pizza is average. Would not order it again. However the vegan veggie pizza tasted like cardboard and was served without rucola. It was literally vegan cheese with 5 cherry tomatoes for 12 euros. Not worth the money at all. Going to try the vegan options in another pizza place next time.

Hele goede pizza, niets mis mee.

Absoluut niet bijzonder of onderscheidend. Diverse keren nu een pizza gehaald. Smaak is goed maar het beleg echt minimaal. Ook bewust zo gedaan. Nu zelf gezien dat ze bij een pizza shoarma echt een heel minimaal zakje shoarma er op doen. Alles is van te voren afgewogen. Dat kan echt beter. De pizza's zijn tenslotte niet echt van het voordelige soort.....
