New York Pizza in Wijk 01 Leusden-Centrum West

Had to wait 2 hours for the food. Called multiple times and eventually got our pizzas. They were very cold, tough, and not tasty. Last time ordering from here.

Ordered food, called 4 times, and it was delivered 2.5 hours later, and half of it was cold.

Ordered 12 pizzas for pickup. We arrived at 6 o'clock, but they still needed to be prepared. Once home, I called; they had just come out of the oven. I think they lost the pizza afterwards. Called again, and then they came out. It was supposed to be delivered within 16 minutes. Waited another 20 minutes, and then they were finally there. What time do you think? Quarter to 7. Not a top-notch performance.

Lukewarm and waaaay late. We ordered online well in advance. Upon arrival, it turned out they wouldn't start preparing for another 30 minutes. They promised to bring the order. A good two hours later, we received the pizzas; unfortunately, they were lukewarm.

Order placed for 6:15 to pick up at 6:30. We arrived only to be told to go back and wait for the delivery person. We were told it would take half an hour, eventually called 4 times, and finally received the cold pizzas at 7:45. This was an order of €100+; you expect good service here, but they were rude and impolite on the phone. After the first call, we were hung up on halfway through. We had to call back to be told that our pizzas were now going into the oven.

1 star is still too much, 1st experience: 1.5 hours late, got a Gold Member pass, so tried again, 1 hour and 45 minutes late, but decided to call, got a big mouth and all kinds of excuses that don't interest me. Just close that place down! Disaster!

Worth 0 stars. Ordered recently, waited 3 hours (!) for pizza, because it was busy and blah blah blah. Fine, happens. Received a New York Gold membership card as compensation. Then, a few weeks later, I ordered another 4 pizzas using the Gold card (with a discount). And there I am, waiting 3 hours AGAIN. Unacceptable. How NY is still keeping this branch open is a mystery to me. If you don't want to work, just stay home.

Placed an online order for pickup. When we arrived, we heard: "The cook went out to do some shopping." We had to stand waiting for 15 minutes until the cook finally arrived.

After having to wait more than an extra half hour for the pizzas, I received a call saying that the ingredients for my pizza were missing. When we had already called before that regarding the status of the pizzas, no one even answered.

Didn't show up and didn't answer the phone

The order wasn't complete! I called about it and they said they would deliver it. But it was busy, so it might take a while. Well, I just didn't see anyone again after calling twice. Even him, I'm throwing it in now.... Anyway, I ordered here quite often, but this was the last time! Based on your name, I understand why you are so unreliable.

Waited longer than 1 hour 40 minutes for the food. Called twice, said next week. 45 minutes later still nothing. Called again, same stupid story. Working there are 15-year-old boys who don't know what they're doing.

In short: disastrous. Ordered 4 pizzas and they were delivered almost 3 hours later, and lukewarm at that. Seriously 3 hours? You can fly to Naples, the birthplace of pizza, in 2 hours and 25 minutes... that's faster than ordering from NYP in Leusden! Called 3 times; it turned out all sorts of things were going wrong there: sick staff, an accident and therefore virtually no staff, ingredients out of stock; chaos. It isn't the first time things have gone hopelessly wrong here, but unfortunately, I fell for it again and ordered from here. After a somewhat hectic afternoon at home, we thought we'd "just" order a pizza; in hindsight, I really should have just cooked myself. Deleted the NYP app and vowed to myself: never order from here again!!

You easily wait an hour for your pizza, ridiculously bad!

Bizarre… ordered at 17:30, for a delivery around 18:45. Called at 19:15: 'we are working on it now'. Called again at 20:15: 'It is being prepared now, we will be with you in an hour'. I cancelled it now, so I am curious if that goes well.

Waited more than one hour on a pizza that was ordered five hours in advance… still no food

Had to wait 2 hours for a pizza. Was only called after an hour to say that certain things were missing. Called again an hour after the call to ask where it was. It was only just on its way then.

I placed an order online for gluten-free pizza, among other things. It turned out the place didn't have any gluten-free pizza after all. We canceled the order, and my money was refunded. The money was never refunded, even after repeated requests. In short, a terrible place.

Hopeless establishment. If you order from here... think VERY carefully, really know what you're getting into: - Orders arrive an hour late on average. - Orders arrive lukewarm to ice cold. - Orders are often incomplete. - The delivery driver gets lost, cycles around in circles, and can't find your house. - When you call, they don't answer. - If they do answer, they have a handbook ready with all the excuses they can give you. - Want a refund? They wouldn't even think about it. They promise to take your address and next time you'll get your order for free. (But you'll want to order again, since everything above is repeating.) - In the background, the staff is yelled at like disobedient puppies. My tip: never, ever order from here. Pickup went well twice, but then you're stuck between the yelling manager and his "team."

Even one star is too much. A very bad experience. The order was over 1 hour and 15 minutes late, and only after several phone calls did they move. Every time, a different excuse about staff and scheduling. No direction, no service, no solution. The tone on the phone was also unprofessional. That's it for me. I won't be ordering from here again. After the meal, here's the review about the quality... Absolutely terrible.

Ordered pizza 50 minutes ago, it's been sitting there for 50 minutes. The branch didn't answer the phone. A hopeless company.

We have been waiting for our pizzas for a very long time now, we were supposed to get them at 6:25 pm and it is now 7:15 pm, we find this very annoying.

I've been waiting for my pizza for over 45 minutes. I called, and on the fourth attempt, they answered! The pizza was supposedly just about to go in the oven. They said they were running late because of a staff shortage, but reading the reviews, this is the standard service here. I've asked for a refund. They'll call me within 48 hours to transfer the money. I wonder if that will work... It's now been three days, and I still haven't heard anything from NY Pizza...

The manager yelled at me while I was just cycling, unfortunately not the first time this has happened. I should be removed from this position.

We had to wait 2.5 hours for pizzas. We called several times in between and were also hung up on. After a while, we tried calling again and got someone on the phone. We had to ask the manager, who then yelled, "I'm leaving now." The guy on the phone said that everything was taking much longer due to staff shortages. Now everything on Thuiszorgd is also closed, and the website says pickup only. I will never order from here again.

Ordered a pizza and received a completely different one. It was super gross, no idea what that black stuff was, we couldn't eat it, and we had to wait a really long time.

It took ages for them to arrive. I had to contact them twice, it should have been any time each time, then the order was ice cold and we got a pizza with only tomato sauce instead of extra cheese pizza.

One star is actually too many. I ordered two pizzas. One arrived missing toppings. I called to ask where the second was. They said they would come as soon as possible, but after an hour, nothing. I called again, and the on-call employee simply went home and never reported the extra delivery. This is truly sad. Luckily, Domino's exists.

Cold, cold, cold. I'm always happier with the pizza crust from NY instead of Domino's, but now it's cold pizza for the second time. Unfortunately.

Waited two hours for pizzas, and they arrived ice cold. Excellent!! Adjustment: As compensation, we could have gotten the same order for free next time. That was true, but the order still didn't arrive. We called again, and they said the scooter was broken (the same excuse as last time two weeks ago), but this time the order was even canceled. They should just shut the whole place down, what a mess! Never order pizza from here; they're amateurs!

Late delivery and cold/poorly topped pizzas. My written complaint went unanswered.

They canceled our order, promising a refund. This didn't happen, so we contacted customer service. It's been months since then and we've never seen a refund. We'll go to the competition next time.

After waiting an hour and 37 minutes, I finally got my Margherita pizza with extra toppings: cheddar cheese slices. I can't prove it, of course, but I bet I was given that pizza on purpose so I'd never order again. And honestly, you got your way, because I will indeed never order again. Rest assured. Ordered pizza on time today (Saturday evening), and they arrived within 25 minutes. We thoroughly enjoyed it, thanks again. Sem's sweet boy also spoke on the phone.

I called after an hour and a half because my order had already been "completed" for half an hour. The delivery driver and operator were very friendly. My pizzas arrived 15 minutes later. I think the pizzas were ready 10 minutes after ordering and then sat for another hour and 25 minutes. They were freezing cold, so I could have thrown everything away... Edit: I tried again 9 months later, still terrible. The delivery drivers didn't read the note, and part of the order was missing... save your money and effort and go somewhere else.

This was our last order. Sauce forgotten with the hot dogs, a portion of pancakes not delivered, products not available and the pizza not pre-cut. And all that with one order. If this were an incident, it could happen. However, time and time again they prove their incompetence. My advice is therefore to NEVER order here. That way you avoid disappointment.

Never come again really stinky fish

Had ordered food first it was 15 too late all the food ice cold and the sauce that I had bought extra was not even there I called for money back no that was not allowed because it was only sauces. I asked if they would still bring it because it was already cold and their fault that I did not have it but that was too much to ask at least expect a discount on a new order because this is worthless

2 minutes after closing time while doors are open you will be told sorry, we are closed. You can hear staff outside reacting irritated to each other, you can't do that... good service in Leusden! Then close your doors or look for staff with a commercial mindset.

Excellent food and very friendly delivery person

Waited for 45 minutes for a pizza after which I received a message that I would get my money back because the order had been cancelled. Unfortunately, it is now too late to order something elsewhere because if I have to wait another hour for it, it will be midnight. Probably canceled because I asked if they would like to top the pizza well because it is often very mediocre, which may have caused so much stress that the order was canceled. The pizzas ordered were so hard that the taste was no longer there. All ingredients were dried out and could not be tasted. As if it had been prepared 2 days earlier and reheated. And then you quickly pay 15 euros each. So this was the last time.

I had to wait two hours several times before it finally arrived. Called a few times to check where they were and each time I heard that the delivery person was 'around the corner'. We won't try it again here.

This was very disappointing. Everything is cold, my cookie is not the one I ordered. And the hot dog... and without sauce.

Unfortunately not a good experience, it took an hour and fifteen minutes for the food to arrive, after an hour I called because I couldn't find any updates. Second, everything was cold. We threw it in the microwave ourselves to warm it up. And thirdly, we had a Salami pizza that literally had 5 slices of salami on it and almost no cheese, and you pay €15 for that, a waste of my money. We also had nachos, in the comments we added that we don't want jalapenos because neither of us can handle them, there were just jalapenos on them that we were able to fish out, plus there was really very little minced meat on them... I will definitely never order from this New York Pizza again...

They are always way too late with delivery

Delivery often late or not at all. Last time I didn't even get my money back, even after calling many times. Today they were supposed to deliver the order as a final agreement, but then they didn't show up again.

Unfortunately had a very disappointing experience with our recent order. After we ordered our pizzas, we got a call that it would take an hour longer. This was followed by another phone call that added another hour. Ultimately the car turned out to be broken and we were kindly asked to pick up the pizzas ourselves. But even that was not possible because the ingredients had run out and were still in the car. We were promised the order would be canceled but that never happened and we are still waiting for our money. Called again the next day and the manager cut us off with a promise to call back, but as of now we are still waiting for any message or refund of our money. A very frustrating situation and poor service.

But yes, the food is really bad, I think they marinated the pizza instead of the chicken legs? Nothing tasted as it should. The delivery person was right on time.

If you want to cancel your orders at 9:55 PM you may not need to be open until 10:00 PM. If you want to go home at 10:00 PM, you have to close at 9:30 PM, with your lazy carcass. Provide mentally challenged people with overpriced junk that should not bear the title of pizza

I ordered from here every week but the quality has deteriorated significantly. I had to wait 2 hours and 45 minutes for my order last week. They are not customer friendly on the phone. Had to wait 2 hours for 2 pizzas. You couldn't taste the difference between doner and shawarma. Nice promotion, but you'd be better off paying double at a real pizzeria. In addition, the fat drips off the pizza!

What a bad tent!! Waited two hours for two pizzas tonight. First time asked if everything had gone through okay. Had to search for my order for 5 minutes. It was crowded. After an hour and a half we called again and “suddenly” our order was late because it had been deleted from the system. What a bad story. How I ruined my money on this. Ordered a large order of pizzas to pick up (16 pieces). We received a phone call before the agreed time with the time when it would all be ready so that all pizzas were hot and freshly ready at the same time. Recently reopened with new ownership so thought I'd give it a try. What a difference, already ordered a few times, it was delicious. It was also super fast and they are super friendly. 10/10

Super lekkere pizza's. Er zit lekker veel saus op en de ingrediënten zijn van goede kwaliteit. Zeker een aanrader. Service is ook goed. Aangezien we wat langer moesten wachten op onze afhaal kregen we gratis brownies. Top personeel!

Was vlot klaar en smaakte prima

Over de kwaliteit weinig te zeuren alleen het personeel..... Worden die kinderen wel getraind. Wij bellen onze bestelling altijd door. Geen van alle 15 jarige medewerkers kan op normale manier de telefoon opnemen. Bestelling word niet herhaald worden geen prijzen genoemd geen idee hoelang het gaat duren voordat de pizza bezorgd word nix. Dikke straat taal door de telefoon. Wij rijden ook vaak langs en staat al het 15 jarige personeel buiten met al hun vriendjes. Vind het een slecht beeld wat je afgeeft voor je zaak. Is er niemand van de regio managers die hier wat aan doet. Dat de leiding het personeel gewoon vrij loslaat. Graag snel verandering. Je helpt je eigen filiaal de afgrond in zo. Pizza's zijn 9 van de 10 x perfect. Zodra het personeel beter word raad ik het iedereen aan.

Bellen en laten bezorgen. Geen bezorgkosten. Shoarma en hete kip gegeten .Was goed. Bezorging binnen 3 Kwartier

Lekkere pizza's, gelukkig niet zo vettig als bij andere ketens. Precies goed. Super snelle bezorging, 18:53 besteld en 19:11 al in huis.

Nu al enkele keren langs gegaan en kwalitatief de beste pizza's van de keten. Goed belegde pizza's, duurt niet lang en personeel is zeer vriendelijk en kundig. Parkeren is gratis direct achter de zaak echter in de zaak oppeuzelen is i.v.m. vergunningen niet mogelijk. Geen ervaring met de bezorging.

Heb wel betere pizza's in de omgeving van Leusden gegeten.

Prima heerlijke pizza's. Ook de bezorging is prima in orde.
