Nice restaurant with a beautiful terrace. Delicious ice cream! Enjoyed it on a summer day. Nicely centrally located on the cycling route network.

We wanted a glass of water with our coffee, but unfortunately, they didn't do that. We had to order a bottle of Spa Blue. This is remarkable in itself. When we received the water, it turned out to be in a used refill bottle with a dirty cap and neck. Who guarantees us that this isn't just tap water? 'Yes, they had a separate connection line for that.' If that is the case, why do we have to buy 3/4 liter? All this for the price of €5.75. Very unfriendly and unfortunately not very hospitable. It is a shame about this policy. We will not be visiting this place again.

Nice place, very friendly service, food is good, although even though we aren't big eaters the portions are somewhat small, but that is a matter of personal preference. Furthermore, we had a delicious burger, the sandwich was great, the carpaccio delicious, the cappuccino was good, and a nice, strong espresso.

The atmosphere and the dedication of all staff are aimed at making you feel at ease. The lunch was well catered for. It was a successful visit to De Gezelligheid.

Disappointing. We have been there often, but this time it was really a letdown. We had reserved, but were given a table by the door from which a lot of cold air was coming. The candles on the table were not lit. We paid €160 for 2 people for 2 starters, 2 main courses, and 1 dessert, and didn't even order a bottle of wine. The surf and turf was a minimal portion and certainly not worth the money. In the summer, it is a fine spot outside, but for a dinner inside, you pay a lot for what you get in terms of quality, service, and atmosphere.

The food was really very bad, little and poor quality meat, poorly prepared, and not even any vegetables. Paying an extra 5.50 for fries, never again, there is no love in the food.

It was lovely again with a Big Z Valentine's Day dinner, which was fantastic and incredibly good. Rody was a great host, and the staff were friendly and attentive.

We had a delicious Valentine's Day dinner. It was very well-prepared and perfectly timed. They create a new menu for each occasion, so you don't have to worry about choosing, but you can still enjoy a delicious meal. The staff were very friendly, and my wife even received a rose from the staff. I can't say enough about the staff, who handled a huge crowd in a very short time. Highly recommended!

A lovely restaurant with a cozy atmosphere and a revamped menu. The food is excellent, beautifully presented, and the portions are generous. Prices are reasonable compared to many other restaurants. Be careful, though. Side dishes are charged separately, and bread is €2.75 per person (!). That adds up. No carafe of water is available (why not for a fee?). Bottled water is reasonably priced, though (€5.75). Good wines by the glass. Coffee, beer, and soft drinks are reasonably priced. Young but friendly service. In sunny weather, one of the most beautiful terraces in the area. We'll be back soon.

We found this place by searching for restaurants that accept dinner vouchers. It's a shame we didn't know about it before. We had a fantastic meal here. We immediately booked the Christmas menu. Great service and a cozy atmosphere.

Stopped here for drinks and lunch today during an e-chopper tour! Honestly, it was incredibly disappointing: We had to wait a long time to even order, and it took over 45 minutes before our food arrived. Even then, not everything was complete (there were 7 of us), the pulled chicken was cold, and the staff seemed inexperienced, uninterested, and unfriendly. In short, we definitely won't be returning.

Very bad. Long waits. Food was subpar, everything came at different times. Drinks were forgotten. Never again.

Delicious food for a good price, good and attentive service

We were there with eight people for an important celebration. The food: some dishes were delicious (sole, steak tartare), others subpar (mushrooms). The fries were terrible; way too hard, too salty, and overseasoned. They seemed like they had been fried either three times or far too long. The service was downright terrible. We had to wait a very long time (two courses in three hours). Little attention was paid to our table, and we had to ask for it ourselves. During dinner, it slowly got dark and the solar-powered lights went out. We tried to get another one, but that too went out. No other lighting. The staff did nothing, even after asking. We didn't even get around to dessert or coffee/tea, because it was dark and we'd had enough. Not worth repeating, and certainly not recommended, because we had a mediocre experience and paid a typical restaurant price. It felt like students were running the place.

The food was truly awful. Especially the main course. A very disappointing grilled dish. The meat was overcooked and had absolutely no flavor. Complaining was completely pointless. They'd never had any complaints before... Bad business.

It was very noisy and crowded. I suspect the kitchen couldn't handle it. We had to wait over an hour for our lunch to be served, at 9 p.m. I missed the announcement about the wait times.

The food, service, and atmosphere were excellent. The price was a bit higher than we're used to.

It's a nice place, but relatively expensive, not worth the money. Plus, you have to wait a long time for your order.

Nice spot under the trees.. You're sitting fine there. Service is friendly. But....... The carpaccio sandwich was awful. The sandwich (just a pre-baked pistolet) was rock hard. Sandwiches were taken back. The waitress came back that all the sandwiches were so hard. And offered to take slices of bread instead of "farmer's bread". They had then forgotten to spread the sandwiches. 3 pieces of limp lettuce and no truffle mayonnaise to be found. No pine nuts, no dressing and thick slices of carpaccio 😝 All in all a disappointment.

With 2 people enjoyed the nice ambiance, the delicious food, the great service, it was simply top a 10+.👍🍀🌹❤️

Teleurstellende ervaring bij De Gezelligheid in Leusden – absoluut geen aanrader Op tweede paasdag besloten wij om gezellig uit eten te gaan bij De Gezelligheid in Leusden. Helaas bleek de naam van het restaurant het enige gezellige aan de hele avond. Onze ervaring was op alle fronten teleurstellend en zeker niet de moeite – of het geld – waard. Eten zonder smaak of ziel We kozen onder andere voor de mixed grill, maar kregen een bord geserveerd dat meer leek op een bijgerecht dan een hoofdgerecht. Kleine stukjes vlees, droog, smakeloos en totaal zonder liefde bereid. Geen kruiding, geen saus, geen presentatie – alsof het met tegenzin was opgewarmd en op een bord gegooid. Ook de andere gerechten aan tafel waren flauw, simpel en ronduit karig. Een paar frietjes erbij en klaar – dat was het dan. Geen waar voor je geld Voor de prijs die je betaalt, verwacht je minimaal een fatsoenlijke portie én een beetje kwaliteit. Helaas kregen we geen van beide. Dit is typisch zo’n plek waar je achteraf denkt: “Zonde van ons geld.” Bediening kon niets betekenen We hebben onze teleurstelling netjes gemeld aan de bediening, maar kregen enkel een vriendelijke glimlach terug en de mededeling dat “ze het zouden doorgeven.” Geen oplossing, geen tegemoetkoming, geen interesse. Ook dat draagt bij aan het gevoel dat je als gast niet serieus genomen wordt. Ons advies: laat dit restaurant links liggen Met zoveel leuke en goede restaurants in de omgeving is het echt zonde om hier je tijd (en geld) te verspillen. De Gezelligheid doet zijn naam absoluut geen eer aan. Wij raden dit restaurant dan ook ten zeerste af. Hopelijk nemen ze deze feedback serieus, maar voor ons blijft het bij deze ene – en laatste – keer.

Welcoming and friendly service. Great card. Unfortunately, smoking is allowed everywhere on the terrace, which means we no longer have an appetite, so we left earlier. Why no smoking and non-smoking areas? This can be easily achieved.

Tasty food, warm plates with fish, an above-average friendly staff, an excellent Pinot Grigio. In short, satisfied.

Very good food, although a little more expensive than usual. Well-coordinated order of courses. The big issue for us was the room temperature. It was already very low and unfortunately depressed the overall experience.

Nice restaurant. Slightly small parking space for about 10 cars. Ambience in the restaurant is nice. Service is friendly and good. Food could have been better, I missed some sauce and something could have been prepared just a little better. The toilet needed renovation, but that should not spoil the fun.

What a wonderful atmosphere. Super friendly and attentive staff and beautifully prepared dishes. Good price quality. The only downside was the Chef special served on a wooden plank with a meat and fish dish. The meat dish was the last to be served. This made the pork tenderloin almost cold and therefore stiffer. It was beautiful rosé, so it still needs some stirring, but the kitchen was busy with that. So topper.

Nice restaurant, nice to end a walk in the woods. Very expensive. For lunch you should think of 15 euros, and that is without drinks. You will spend less at a chic restaurant on Rembrandtplein in Amsterdam.

Had dinner at Gezelligheid tonight, which was fine. We took the tasting with 4 people as a starter, a poor whole, a few slices of salmon, and some vitello tonato and a tomato soup. We were charged no less than € 74 for it. Scandalous!!

There happened to be 2 large groups, which made it a bit noisy, but the food was great again!

Wat een waardeloze tent; met de familie een vervroegde (kerst)lunch gereserveerd. Op 1 bord lag maar 1 kroket bij de andere 2. Bij navraag bleek de 2e nog te moeten komen. Daarnaast waren de kroketten nog bevroren, de warme beenham was koud met als gevolg dat de helft het eten al op had en de rest zonder eten zat te kijken. We hebben ruim een uur voor deze lunch gereden maar dit was eens en nooit weer!!

Bestelde na wachten een capucinno en een appeltaart. Werkelijk, pas na 30 minuten werd koffie en appeltaart geserveerd. Andere tafels kregen hun koffie sneller. En ik dus ook nog eens verkeerde koffie ... Moesten de appels nog geplukt worden ?

Nice meal, shame about the busy road

Last Sunday we had lunch with a group of 6 people. We sat outside in the sun. It took a very long time for someone to come to take drinks and even longer for our food. We were sitting at high tables, one of which had a loose top when I leaned slightly on it and the top lifted and three drinks, which had barely been drunk, fell over. That can of course happen, but it took a long time before someone came with a cloth and the drinks also had to be paid for while I could do nothing about the fact that the tray was loose. Only received a sorry, I will pass it on as an answer.

Het eten was redelijk. De bediening erg traag. Lang moeten wachten om te kunnen afrekenen, de kassa was deed het eerst niet. Later per email een vraag gesteld over de kassabon, maar die vraag werd niet beantwoord. Ook niet na een reminder

Personeel gooit met eieren naar campers en auto's. Dit zelf ervaren, heel erg kinderachtig en associaal!! Daarom hier ook niet meer gaan eten.

Nice restaurant, good food, a bit pricey. There are a lot of small flies on the terrace, perhaps something can be done about this, such as a spray or scented candles.

Goat cheese salad, 3 pieces of cheese, lettuce straight from the bag, hardly any dressing, nothing to make it tasty, no pine nuts, half a tomato, hardly any dressing and that for 19.50 Really bad I really never send anything back, but now it has been resolved well, but what we came for was a nice lunch, the atmosphere was gone, which is a shame

Not 5 stars because the napkin was not clean. Otherwise really good. The meat was well prepared, perhaps a bit on the small portion but certainly not too small. It's nice that the mixed grill has different sauces on the plate depending on the type of meat.

Had a wonderful evening, here you can sit comfortably and enjoy delicious food. The estrella galicia remains one of the most beautiful Spanish beers. Completely finished

Cozy restaurant with friendly staff

The food was delicious. We had to wait a really long time for dessert and one portion was missing ice cream. That ice cream was walnut ice cream instead of the promised cinnamon ice cream, which is also a shame. That was brought later. The sanitary facilities are substandard, it stinks, the toilet seat was loose (really loose, I almost fell off the toilet - and this was known to the staff who responded very laconically) it looks very dirty. If you look around the restaurant you will also see striking things: lamp that does not work, strange combinations of accessories, tables are so close together that twice people had problems taking a seat at the table because the chairs pushed each other away with the ridges. Also gave me some hassle once. Our coats were accepted, they were very wet (from the rain while cycling) and were hung against the others. When we got them back, my coat was even wet on the inside and the coats of the other two in our party were also completely wet, even though they had arrived dry by car. Service was very poor. The food was delicious, which makes up for the rest of the experience. But I can't really recommend it at all.

Wauw! Zo’n tournedos krijg je maar zelden. De anderen hadden een hele mooie chateau briant. Lekker frietjes erbij en wat goed klaargemaakt groenten. Topkok!

Dinner with friends. Hospitable and friendly service, we lacked nothing! Start with a goat's cheese tompouce. Main course: Chateau Briand tasted good, presented with extensive garnish. Dessert: mirror with an extensive range of desserts, including a culinary surprise such as the sweet bitterbal. In short, a wonderful and pleasant evening. Recommended, easy to reach and plenty of parking on the edge of a nature reserve.

Establishment lives up to its name. We were nine people. The prices were a pleasant surprise. The young hostesses and hosts were very personable and friendly.

Hier hebben wij heerlijk geluncht, eten was super! Medewerkers zijn professioneel en attent. In de buurt is heerlijk wandelgebied voor honden. De hond mocht ook mee lunchen, kreeg gelijk een enthousiast welkom van de medewerkers, een bak water en als toetje zelfs een plakje worst ;)

Lekker gegeten en goede service.

Eten terug moeten sturen was koud. Alles was veel te lang gebakken je vraagt medium en het was helemaal doorbakken. Veel te weinig eten voor deze prijs. Ijs zaten allemaal kristallen in en weinig tot geen smaak aan. Dit was eens maar nooit meer.

Heerlijk op het terras kunnen Dineren. Service was prima, en maaltijden gevarieerd. Aanrader voor een gezellige avond.

Eerder hier heerlijk gegeten, laatste keer weet ik niet wat er aan de hand was. Bediening wat niet lekker liep (eten werd niet gelijktijdig uitgeserveerd, zelf om de kaart moeten vragen etc). Eten was op zich oké, de maaltijdsalade was eerder een kipdijfilet op een (heel klein) bedje van sla. Niet de kwaliteit die we gewend waren van de Gezelligheid. Het trucje met de broodjes vooraf, 3 euro per persoon, zorgt voor een bittere nasmaak. 12 euro voor 8 mini broodjes kan je gewoon niet serieus nemen. Beste eigenaar, ik hoop dat jullie met alle uitdagingen in de horeca het niveau weer kunnen vinden wat jullie eerder hadden. We weten dat jullie beter kunnen…

Eten was weinig en weinig keus op de kaart

Hier langs geweest voor de lunch. Makkelijk voor de deur kunnen parkeren en lekker gegeten. Personeel was vriendelijk. Prima broodje kunnen eten.

Goede gerechten alleen heel jammer dat ondanks genoeg personeel deze totaal geen aandacht of interesse hebben in de gasten. Cursus niet naar de grond kijken zou het er erg goed doen.

Een locatie met denk ik het fijnste terras in de wijde omtrek. Menu kaart is beperkt maar voldoende keus. Kwaliteit is prima. Service is wat traag.

Lang gewacht op de lunchkaart. Kussen niet aanwezig op loungebank. Werden na ons bezoek wel neergelegd.

Eten en sfeer is zondermeer goed. Service begon goed maar na hoofdgerecht lang moeten wachten. Dessert op een spiegel is een leuk idee, alleen was niet duidelijk hoe het mooi op een bord te krijgen.

Een paprika tomatensoep (wat meer weg had van een bouillon met een paar stukjes bosui) voor 8 euro! Was het niet waard.

Vaker geweest maar het is niet meer wat het vroeger was. Ze vragen of je vooraf een broodje wilt maar vertellen er niet bij dat deze €7,50 kost en zo groot is voor 2 personen. Tonijn was prima, nagerecht crème brule en monchou bombe vielen zwaar tegen, voor de prijs van €10,50 verwacht je wel iets beters. Muziek stond hard en was schreeuwerig. Bediening was prima.
