We'll remember this place! We only went in for a cup of coffee and a treat.

Excellent. Main course around 30 euros and dessert 12. Good quality. A few fries for 5.50 is a bit pricey, though. We think there were groups there who had just returned from the funeral. Everyone was dressed in black.

Arrived at the restaurant at 10:15. Hadn't had breakfast yet, which was impossible here. The lunch menu is available from 11:00. A little later, I saw something on the counter that I would have liked to order, but it was exclusively for the staff. The visit was not a success.

We had a delicious meal on Christmas Day. The atmosphere was cozy and the service was with a smile. We'll definitely be back.

Beautiful, classic, large building. Perfect for business lunches, dinners, or small parties. Excellent, professional service. The menu is reasonable. Good quality, but could be a bit more extensive and exciting. The surf and turf salad I had looked nice, but had too much vinaigrette and was therefore a bit too sour and watery.

Beautiful restaurant, but it's a shame they initially ignore you upon entering. Then, when you're seated at a table, they don't even ask if you'd like a drink. We only got up and left after fifteen minutes, as the staff were pacing around like blind horses and didn't respond. The food on the serving tray looked delicious, but unfortunately, we couldn't taste it. And it wasn't that busy: four tables by the window and a few guests at the bar.

When you call, you get a computer on the line. When you text, it's an AI chatbot. If it can't find an answer, it promises to have a real person respond, but you never hear back. Nice and personal, isn't it? They're not going to make it that way. I have no business being there anymore.

The restaurant had a cozy, warm atmosphere, but unfortunately, the food and wine were very disappointing. The plates were neatly presented and the dishes looked fine. Unfortunately, considering the price, the taste was a bit disappointing. We had the tenderloin steak and surf and turf for main courses several times. The steak was fine, but the vegetables (carrots and spring onions) were literally raw, a strange combination. The surf and turf tasted fine, but the fact that the shrimp were fried was a bit odd, not flavorful, and should have been mentioned on the menu. Furthermore, there was very little tenderloin (5 thin slices), which is outrageous for the price of €36.50. The table service was friendly but not very attentive. Drinks took a very long time to arrive, and the main course arrived just as we had finished our starter. This could have been handled more carefully. Unfortunately, we won't be returning, and we won't be recommending this restaurant to friends or family.

The food is good and the atmosphere is great. However, serving one (albeit somewhat thicker) slice of bread is a bit minimal for the price you pay.

Delicious and beautiful food for a reasonable price. Nice and relaxed atmosphere. Free parking, which is also nice! The staff is very friendly, except for one waitress, who wasn't really in the mood tonight.

Cozy restaurant with modern decor. Good but limited menu. Had lunch, but the croquettes were lukewarm. Friendly and attentive service.

On November 1st, six of us from a group of eight chose the surprise menu. What a disappointment. The price-quality ratio is completely out of proportion. €65 for five courses, you can expect a lot from that. Only the main course, after we added salt ourselves, was okay. The other courses were either really bad or rather plain. The salmon starter; just some salmon and lettuce on a plate. It came with a tasteless concoction that added nothing. Then we had roasted celeriac soup. Inedible. Watery and tasteless. Next up was prawn risotto. The risotto, again, lacked flavor and contained pieces of prawn (we think it was crayfish), but certainly not juicy prawns. Finally, dessert; it was nothing more than a few loose parts (the spiral looked like rubber) on a plate with some fresh fruit. Two people who had chosen from the menu received decent food. Furthermore, the service was difficult to understand. They forgot to explain what was on the plate, which is quite nice when you get a surprise menu. They didn't ask us enough if we wanted anything else to drink, and then it all took a very long time. The time between courses could have been shorter, and drinks served a bit faster. And you could hear the staff shouting at each other from the kitchen. In short, an evening to quickly forget.

We had a club sandwich. Looked delicious. Only the bread was old and the knife was so hard to cut through. We asked for a different knife. It was also dull. Recommendation: have your knives sharpened. The kitchen also makes fun of the waitresses. They're very nice.

We had a delicious lunch and very friendly and fast service. The interior is beautiful, and the location is perfect for meeting people from various cities. Right next to the highway and free parking. We'll definitely be back!

We've been here several times. The restaurant has a lovely terrace, a wide selection of drinks and dishes, and friendly, efficient staff. This time we ordered two sea bream platters, but unfortunately, they were disappointing: the fish wasn't cooked through, there weren't many vegetables, and the presentation left much to be desired. Fortunately, the friendly and efficient staff made our visit enjoyable.

A quick coffee and a treat. It's a shame I had to ask for a tablecloth. But otherwise, it was fine. The carrot cake was a bit dry. There were some nice dishes on the menu. I'll give it a try.

It's been very well renovated. It was really dated here eight years ago. Good service and food.

We thought the weather was nice, so we'd have a nice lunch. Unfortunately, things didn't turn out that way. The evening before, they'd probably neglected to bring in the patio cushions, despite the fact that rain was forecast there as well. When we arrived at the patio, there was a nice spot available under one of the parasols. Unfortunately, when we sat down, we discovered the chair cushion was soaked with water, resulting in completely soaked trousers! After pointing this out to the waitstaff, they only offered to point it out to their colleague, who had supposedly checked the cushions. They didn't go any further than that; they even pointed out that the cushions of the two adjacent chairs were also soaked and that it might be better to hang them up to dry. Fortunately, we were in transit, and I was able to change. A critical note: it's a shame the staff didn't take any further action, not even an apology!!!

Beautiful restaurant, both inside and out (the outside could be more inviting with a few plants, but otherwise fine). The food was good, though quite expensive for the amount! A mini portion of fries costs €6.50. And a sandwich costs €16 (and that's just one sandwich). The food quality is good. The staff is young and inexperienced. It took a long time for us to get drinks, and then our food arrived (45 minutes for lunch). I didn't feel truly welcome, more like a "must-do," which is a shame. We won't be back.

Unfortunately, this isn't a good review, and I don't normally write one. In this case, it's mainly for learning purposes. My food, a small fish, was served raw. Just to be clear, I hadn't ordered sushi. After I told the staff that the fish wasn't cooked, they apologized and took it back to the kitchen. After a while, the fish returned with the comment that it was now perfect, and as an apology, we were offered dessert on the house. However, the fish was anything but perfect. It was still partially raw, and the vegetables had noticeably been heated for too long. I left it there, not wanting to send the fish back to the kitchen, and ate a small portion of the cooked portion. You could tell the staff realized it wasn't right yet, but they didn't ask any further questions. When clearing the table, I again mentioned how disappointing the food had been. We didn't want dessert, but instead opted for coffee. We were very surprised when we were told we had to pay for everything, including the coffee. It's a shame, as it's a beautiful and cozy location, but there's clearly room for improvement.

De avond begon veelbelovend: vriendelijk personeel, een fijne sfeer en een goede eerste indruk. Helaas veranderde dit volledig bij het hoofdgerecht. We bestelden beiden een diamanthaas, medium rare. Wat we kregen, was duidelijk niet medium rare – het vlees was grotendeels doorbakken met een grijze binnenkant. We gaven dit vriendelijk aan en de serveerster reageerde professioneel: excuses aangeboden en de borden werden meegenomen. Tot zover prima. Daarna kwam er echter een andere medewerker aan tafel – een mannelijke bediening – die op onbeschofte wijze de oude borden voor onze neus teruggooide en meteen in de verdediging schoot. Volgens hem wisten wij niet wat “medium rare” betekende en was het vlees precies goed bereid. Opmerkelijk, want het was gewoon half grijs vanbinnen, en mijn tafelgenoot heeft zelf jarenlange ervaring in de horeca. De discussie werd onnodig en ongemakkelijk. Uiteindelijk nam hij de borden weer mee. Toen het nieuwe gerecht arriveerde, dachten we dat het hiermee klaar was. Helaas, dezelfde medewerker kwam terug om opnieuw zijn gelijk te halen. Hij bleef erop hameren dat hij gelijk had en wij ongelijk – totaal ongepast gedrag richting betalende gasten die simpelweg netjes hun feedback gaven. Het hele incident heeft de avond voor ons compleet verpest. Van een gezellige avond uit werd het een ongemakkelijke ervaring waar je zo snel mogelijk klaar mee wilt zijn. Kortom: nooit meer.

On August 24th, I had a wonderful surprise dinner for 4 at Zuiver. Good food and excellent service for an excellent price. They also took my girlfriend's allergies into account (gluten-free and sulfite-free). All in all, definitely recommended!

Mooie lokatie, lekker eten, keurig opgemaakt en prima bediening. Maar wel te duur voor wat je er voor krijgt. Met name de drankjes en bijgerechten zijn erg duur. Ruim 6 euro voor een alcoholvrij biertje en vijf Eric voor een klein bakje sla.

I would have appreciated a side dish. I hadn't seen it on the menu and was actually expecting some kind of potato or something similar with my main course. It would have been nice if they had offered something or pointed out the side dish.

Een prettig restaurant waar je vlot geholpen wordt door vriendelijk personeel. Prijs/kwaliteit is goed en er wordt snel bediend (dit was lunch). Enig minpunt is de muziek, wat een vreselijke speellijst stond er op. Snap ik niets van met een gemiddeld 40 + bezetting .

Kundige vriendelijke bediening en mooi vormgegeven heerlijke maaltijden. De alcohol vrije mousserende wijn is ons ook zeer goed bevallen.

We had delicious sandwiches with our mother... the birthday girl went for free. Excellent service... fun... they even sang for our 94-year-old mother while we enjoyed a complimentary glass of prosecco. Fantastic!

We had lunch at your restaurant this afternoon. We'd been there before, so we knew it wasn't cheap, but that didn't spoil our enjoyment. My husband had an omelet with ham and cheese, and I had a tuna salad sandwich. The tuna salad was really delicious, but come on, one tuna salad sandwich for €16.00?? And the omelet didn't look very appetizing either. That's how I make it at home when I don't feel like cooking. That one was also €15 for 3 eggs and 2 sandwiches. I don't think we'll be back anytime soon.

End of June we were there on time A lady was video calling via laptop, which was quite loud But that didn't spoil the fun. Large group, food. Quality was good but it wasn't very fancy. That was a bit disappointing. Also forgot the drinks a few times and to top it all off the plates went away while my colleague had still ordered fries. Too bad while the service was nice and did their best. Not a second time for me, location was fine, good parking facilities.

The food at Zuiver in Amersfoort was good. However, the service was far below par. The waiter (a guy who didn't speak Dutch very well) was arrogant and didn't want to serve us. I have no idea why, so I'm not going to make any assumptions. We regularly dine out at fine dining restaurants, but I've never experienced anything like this.

We had a truly wonderful evening with your "Ciao Bella" theme. We really enjoyed the atmosphere. Delicious dishes, great service, and wonderful entertainment from Duo Colore. A glass of white wine (Pinot Grigio) for €8.50 seems like a lot of money for this restaurant; these are prices you might find in a luxury wine bar.

We ate asparagus yesterday. They advertised a special asparagus menu on their website, so expectations were high, especially considering the price. However, the asparagus were hard and full of stringy parts. We reported it, and they gave us new ones. The chef admitted they hadn't been peeled properly. On the second try, the asparagus were still firm and not as soft as you'd expect. We didn't leave feeling happy and satisfied. We did get a free cup of coffee and an apology, but it was a real shame about our evening out.

Due to circumstances, we were quite late deciding where to eat. According to your website, we could make dinner reservations until 9:45 PM. We made our reservation for 9:00 PM. A little later, we received a phone call, which was polite, stating that the kitchen always closes at 9:00 PM. Please update your information. Therefore, we had to wait even longer to find a restaurant in Amersfoort.

A lovely setting, but the chosen dish, Bouillabaisse, was very disappointing. It was anything but bouillabaisse. The amount of it was more like an appetizer than a main course. There was no broth, just a bit of risotto. It would have been better called a risotto with various fish and shellfish as a starter. The cheese platter saved the evening.

What a disgrace. The staff was unmotivated and made no effort to make things right. Plates were practically thrown on the table, the glasses were dirty, and the food was mediocre.

Had a three-course surprise menu... Never again! The service was absolutely terrible, which is unfortunately something you see often. The price/quality ratio is truly deplorable. I say, there will be NO next time.

We went to this restaurant for lunch with our dog. The staff was super friendly and immediately brought a water bowl for the dog. Fast service and delicious food! The cocktails were also delicious. Highly recommended!

As a former hospitality professional, I rarely write a review, but this time I can't bring myself to warn others. The service was completely devoid of enthusiasm, completely disinterested, the wait was endless, and the food was terrible. When the waiter arrived at the table after 5-10 minutes, we asked: "Do you have a rosé?" The answer: "Yes, we have that bottle (pointing to another table) and two other kinds." ... the tone was set. After the appetizer was finally (!!) served, we stared at the empty plates for ages. Finally, with the help of a napkin (yes, yes!), a waiter came to the table and asked if we could order another drink and if the empty plates could be removed (we'd been inside for about 90 minutes). We waited another 15-20 minutes for a bottle of rosé. We finally asked again if the drinks hadn't been forgotten and to have the other dirty items removed. And... finally, the main course arrived: corn-fed chicken, which was dry and tough. The diamond hare was OK. And the asparagus with salmon, which, judging by the sauce, had been sitting on the passe too long, and the asparagus was barely peeled. What a disgrace! Plenty of service, but no focus, no direction or interest whatsoever, combined with poor cuisine. A waste of money. Don't do it! PS: Reading other reviews, I notice that the service seems to be a structural problem.

Lunch viel erg tegen. Uitsmijter was aangebakken, ingedroogd ei met een kwakje onaangemaakte sla. Eten werd geserveerd, stond koud te worden zonder dat er bestek aanwezig was. Al met al een forse teleurstelling.

Wat een teleurstellende ervaring.. Nadat wij het drankje hadden besteld werd ons meegedeeld dat de keuken eerst ging eten..dan maar naar het toilet & weer door. Nou daar was de hele dag nog niet naar omgekeken, vies & een enorme bende!

Odd location in-between two highways. However, easy to reach and that is maybe its main asset. Food quality was poor with little fantasy. Staff was very nice and location actually has a nice atmosphere. Food quality needs significant improvement certainly in view of prices charged.

Nice place for lunch and dinner

Zeer aan te raden als ontmoetingsplek voor een feestje, jubileum of i.d. Vooraf de locatie en de zaal bekeken en op basis daarvan een keurige offerte ontvangen. De bediening was uitstekend. Je had niet in de gaten dat ze er waren of de gesprekken verstoorden. Hier was de klant koning. De after-sales is als zeer vriendelijk ervaren!

When we arrived there was a staff shortage, so it took a long time before someone came to welcome us. But even later, when there were sufficient staff available, there was insufficient alertness among the staff, who were also poorly attuned to each other. For example, it took too long before someone seemed willing to hand us the lunch menu, and our request to pay was not followed up at all until we went to the cash register ourselves after ten minutes. Passion for the catering profession seemed to be lacking among the younger part of the staff. The food is acceptable, but the staff has ensured that we will not be returning here anytime soon.
