The starter and dessert were excellent. But the main course was excellent in terms of quality, but could use more imagination. It's a shame this significantly diminishes the overall experience. The main course could easily be made interesting, but the tournedos with mushroom sauce and a slice of carrot is a shame. Best plan B: use your imagination for the main course and you'll become a top restaurant. March 27, 2022: Spoke with plan B and explained again that the quality was excellent, but that the garnish with the tournedos could be better, and perhaps a richer jus as well. We had a good conversation, and plan B took the review seriously, compliments! July 11, 2025: We went again, tried it again. What a good decision!! Truly fantastic food. Me: starter: gently cooked pork belly, truly superb with a kind of foam sauce and another sauce that wouldn't be out of place in a Michelin-starred restaurant. A 9.5! Main course: Pork neck on polenta with charlotte jus. A 10! Wow, this restaurant has become so good! Partner's appetizer, tuna with avocado, was also fantastic. Partner's main course, the Beyond Burger, was also fantastic. We will definitely eat here again!

There was a village festival on the square, so we thought it would be nice to have a bite to eat. Unfortunately, there was a ridiculous argument about smoking (my wife literally had to sit 5 cm away, where it was allowed). We had to wait for the menu because it was busy... Not my problem, right? We didn't feel welcome, so we went to Bon Dia across the street. Just as busy, but extremely hospitable. A delicious tapas platter. No more Plan B.

I consider it a bonus that they call you in the afternoon to ask if dining indoors is a problem because everything outside is fully booked. Then there's the warm welcome and friendly service. And then the food hasn't even started yet. We had a wonderful meal and a lovely evening. Fantastic! And it's also affordable, which is what you want as a Dutch person. PlanB: highly recommended!

Appetizer: Guyoza baked with delicious vegetables! Fantastic appetizer, easy to digest thanks to the vegetables, very flavorful with some soy, ginger, lovage, and a spring onion.

It's always a good idea to visit PlanB! Our favorite restaurant. A good menu with delicious dishes. A tip: the carpaccio with truffle sauce and duck liver curls—you won't find it better anywhere! It's a charming restaurant with friendly staff, a pleasant atmosphere, and excellent value for money. In short, we recommend everyone to have a bite to eat at PlanB in Leusden.

Jaja weer een gegeten, komt regelmatig voor, bij het eetcafe. Ivm het mooie weer konden we heerlijk bij eten. Mijn steak-tartare en daarna het hoofd gerechten, procureur waren prima en lekker. Als afsluiting een plankje kaas van Remkema. Een gezellige avond met goed eten.

We had dinner here last night. It was fantastic. But really everything. The dishes were perfectly composed, the service was incredibly attentive and not an empty glass... I think that's important 😉... We'll be back very soon!!

Cozy atmosphere, excellent house wine, ordered the merlot, followed by carpaccio with truffle mayo accompanied by a verdejo. Enjoy and add some pepper at the table. The evening ended with diamond tenderloin and scallop, beautifully presented and tasty prepared. Friendly, correct service, sandwich for starters and water with dinner were on the house. Price/quality good. Highly recommended.

Een gezellig restaurant met zeer vriendelijk personeel. De sfeer is prettig en tafels staan mooi gerangschikt. Gekozen voor een proeverij vooraf en daarna een goed bereide bavette. We komen zeker een keer terug want dit restaurant is een aanrader.

Deze plek , in het midden van Leusden , biedt een huiselijke sfeer in combinatie met mooie gerechten. Vraag Bob naar een gerecht buiten de kaart en laat je verrassen 😦. Een klein feestje

Last year I was served Tournedos that was almost raw, cold and tough. Anyway, let's try again. Now a Bavette that could not be cut through with the sharpest knife. Often eaten here, but this was the last time.

Ended up by chance because the original plan was disappointing. So eating at Plan B was literally the second plan. And that's a good thing because we enjoyed it very much. An evening of dining out the way you would like to experience it, with attention to all aspects. The guests, the food and the atmosphere. In an informal setting, you as a guest receive real attention and that starts at the door. You will receive a friendly welcome and your coat will be taken. The menu has a nice balance between meat, fish and vegetarian. There are also a number of dishes off the menu. The partially open kitchen produces delicious and surprising dishes. Served with care and taste. As an extra point of attention, each dish has a wine suggestion. Plan B is therefore definitely recommended and not a second choice.

What a wonderful place to eat. Food was good and surprisingly, service was great and the atmosphere was also great. We went for a bite to eat before going to the AFAS theater. They are apparently used to that and may therefore have some priority in the kitchen.

Eetcafé Plan B is highly recommended 🥇; everything is right here. From the expert and customer-oriented service, the attractive interior to the harmonious dishes – everything has been taken care of down to the last detail. Even our coats were preheated (in winter), which shows attention to detail and hospitality.

The restaurant is attractive and the service is top notch. Dishes are tastefully presented. Card also great! The personal and cordial approach more than lives up to expectations. Even though the entire restaurant was full, we were not forgotten and served quickly. Had a great evening!

This is a fantastic place to have a nice meal and everyone is always willing to go the extra mile. This includes this evening when they made it possible to say goodbye to my father with his favorite dish, even though it has not been on the menu for a few years. Really great.

First of all, the food is fantastic and so is the atmosphere. Friendly staff and cozy atmosphere. We had called that we would like to go with our 8 people. group wanted to eat at 5 p.m. (without a starter) and whether it was possible that at least the main course would be served on time because one person had to leave for the theater at 6:30 p.m. That would work. Unfortunately the main course was not served until 6:20 pm because it was busy. So there was not enough time for this person to eat. The rest of the party had until 7:30 PM. We received the dessert menu at 6:50 PM, but because the order had not yet been taken at 7:15 PM, we decided to eat dessert at the ice cream parlor down the street. It's really a shame, because this really is a restaurant that has everything you need to enjoy your stay. It should be possible to provide people with a main course and a dessert in 2.5 hours. They indicated that they had not properly overlooked the notes in the agenda. It can happen, but if you only have 2.5 hours then this is not the ideal place. If you have the time, it is highly recommended.

Great birthday celebration, delicious snacks

The interior is attractive and the staff is friendly. But I want to be honest; We think the price/quality ratio is moderate. The hamburger was small (or seemed small on the bare plate), 1 small bowl of fries and 1 small bowl of salad for 3 people is really not much and the cheesecake (€9.75) turned out to be a somewhat watery bavarois. The food was disappointing, but the ambiance is fine.

Great supermarket. Space at the cash register is limited. Recently purchased a garden table of very good quality for a good price. You will get good help here.

Gereserveerde tafel was nog bezet, maar even wijntje aan de bar met stokbrood/ kruidenboter was prima. Daarna heerlijk aan tafel gegeten met z’n tweetjes in ‘n leuke ambiance. Vandaag was er weer n nieuwe menukaart. Top. Maar wat fijn dat de lemon curd met ‘n desertwijntje alsnog uitgeserveerd werd. Please, zet dit nagerecht weer op de kaart. Goed eetcafé met n uitstekende, vlotte bediening.

The food was really delicious. Upon arrival we reported that a gluten-free diet was required and that was no problem. Gv sandwich available in advance, choice of quite a few dishes and the fries are fried in a separate fryer. Service was very nice and a nice atmosphere. We will definitely come back here.

Before visiting the Afas theater in Leusden, I searched for a restaurant nearby via Google at home. We were pleasantly surprised by the atmosphere, the service and not to mention the tasty and beautifully presented food.

Delicious food, with nice wine. Their chef is a great cook and prepares the plates beautifully. Very friendly staff. Because we had to wait a little longer for our food and therefore might arrive too late at the Afas Theater, the owner offered to take us away... what do you do with that? ...highly recommended to eat there...

Had dinner last night with husband and child. It was really delicious! Everything was good. Enjoyed it and we will definitely come back.

Al een aantal keer gaan eten en nu laatst weer verrast met een nieuwe kaart. Heerlijk gegeten en top bediening. Overstijgt echt de verwachting die wij hadden bij eetcafé. Als we in de buurt zijn gaan we altijd even hier langs!

Vriendelijk en attent personeel. Gevarieerde kaart met een exclusief theatermenu van€39,50. Vis van de dag Kabeljauw was mals en de Bavette ook. Kleine smet was dat we later op de kassabon zagen dat een meerprijs 5€ was berekend voor de bavette.

Wij zij er gisteren wezen eten voorafgaande aan de voorstelling van de Johan Cruyff musical. Het ontvangst gelijk top, jassen aannemen en plaats toewijzen. Bediening heel aardig, eten goede prijs kwaliteit, bij vertrek jassen worden weer aangereikt. Een absolute aanrader.

Heerlijk gegeten vanavond bij Plan B. Fluweelzachte Vitello tonnato, goed vlees en sauzen en erg lekkere salade. Alles mooi en vers. Zeer vriendelijk personeel dat echt aandacht voor je heeft. Prettige sfeer. Aanrader!

Voorgerecht en nagerecht waren prima.Hoofdgerechten kunnen beter. Er waren meer kleine dingetjes maar na een goed gesprek achteraf werd de kritische note goed opgepakt. En dat siert planB.

Zaterdagavond 5 maart voor het eerst weer uit etem geweest bij jullie. Weer als vanouds. Gezellig en goed. Dit was weer voor herhaling vatbaar.

Er is altijd een vegan luxe hamburger te bestellen (Beyond burger), er wordt dan zelfs aan vegan mayo gedacht. Ook zijn er wisselende vegetarische opties. Let als veganist wel op, want bij het brood vooraf zit volgens mij roomboter. Vriendelijke bediening, huiselijke sfeer.

Erg goed eetcafé, personeel super vriendelijk en behulpzaam, eten was erg goed en prijs/kwaliteit super. Voor 5 sterren vond ik de stoelen vrij oncomfortabel. Absolute aanrader.

Waarschijnlijk ben ik wat verwend door de kwaliteit eten die ik in Duitsland / Oostenrijk gewend ben, dus probeer mijn kritiek naar Nederlands perspectief te zien. Het voorgerecht, de uiensoep, was super, het nagerecht, de Dame Blanche, ook. De biefstuk puntjes waren daarentegen klein en "verdronken" in de stroganoffsaus. Dat mag wat minder. De bediening was super, vriendelijk en zonder aarzelen. Al met al een geslaagde avond. We komen weer.
