We had a delicious meal and chose a lovely wine to go with it. Unfortunately, at one point we had to wait a really long time for a dish, but that was a mistake, and things went more smoothly afterward. It's nice that the various "rooms" and corners make you forget how big and crowded it is. For a restaurant with such a large capacity, the quality of the food is surprisingly good! We will definitely be back 😊

A fantastic restaurant. Huge location, yet it feels intimate. It's an all-you-can-eat concept, but you never feel like it's a "food shack," and the food is truly high quality. The wines are excellent, and the plates are all truly beautiful. My favorites were the oysters, scallops, and pork belly. Truly delicious! The service is fast. Definitely recommended.

Very good food and a clean restaurant with staff who still know how to serve! It's a shame the music was a bit too loud and they wouldn't turn it down.

There were 12 of us and we had a great meal, but the way we were chased away was rude. We had a 3.5-hour package. The last round was recorded and served at the time we were supposed to leave. Ten minutes later, we were told that if we stayed any longer, we would have to pay extra for all 12 people, meaning there was no chance to leisurely drink our coffee, tea, or wine. We found this very disappointing. It was the end of the evening, so our table wasn't reserved for another group. Because we felt so chased away, we didn't even finish our drinks. I understand that with a package, you have to pay extra to extend it. But not even getting the chance to finish the drinks we had just received is a real shame, and I find this very unprofessional for a company like Chardonnay.

What a fantastic restaurant this is. An all-you-can-eat concept with a different twist. There's truly something for everyone on the menu.

I think it's the "older" sibling of Restaurant Bordeaux in Naarden (Naarderbos), but the same "all you can eat" principle applies here, and it was high time to post a review, as it's been a year since I organized a successful dinner party (just like recently in Bordeaux). And the evening was absolutely successful in every respect. I'm not (anymore) a big eater and had to pass on six plates, but even those six were more than worth the price. The ladies continued for a while, but I think they had already been fasting for a few days. In short, a great restaurant with excellent service and a nearly endless selection of culinary delights, from meat and fish to shellfish and vegetarian. Flavorful and fresh. A beautiful view over the Leusden meadows and plains (and I didn't see a wolf then). (English version): This unique "all you can eat" concept was a great surprise for me. I knew it from some Chinese restaurants, but hadn't experienced it in the French-fusion-international cuisine. What a relaxed and luxurious setting in the countryside near Leusden (province of Utrecht). Great service, big smiles even the robot cars have a smile! When in the 'neighbourhood' do it..you won't be dissapointed and will be a highlight from your visit to The Netherlands.

Great all-you-can-eat restaurant. We loved the tuna the most. The service was very friendly and fast. The robots bring the food, and the waiters then neatly place it on the table. The food was fine, but not outstanding. Sometimes a bit bland in flavor. The dessert buffet is a bit of everything, including ice cream, small pastries, a chocolate fountain with fresh strawberries, and candies.

We were with a large group, and they offer a drinks package. This is nice, but it's annoying having to work with a single order form for such a large group (12 people).

We've dined here several times. This time, we were a group of 13 with a package deal. We had to wait over half an hour for the first course. We mentioned this, and things went more smoothly afterward. We had the deal until 9:45 PM. At 10:00 PM, they came to tell us it was over. Coffee and tea had to be included on the bill. I spoke with the manager, saying it would have been wise to mention this fifteen minutes before the end. We had a discussion with the manager (a real shame!), who claimed, among other things, that waitress Fleur had tried to bring this up with our table three times, which absolutely wasn't the case. We were allowed to order coffee from the manager anyway. When we got the bill, it turned out the coffee and tea were included again. It took a long time for the bill to be corrected again. It's a shame it didn't feel right this time, and it's a real shame that you have to defend yourself to a manager.

Great concept and fantastic food! Table service is also good, thanks to the robots that save the staff from having to walk. The price/performance ratio is sensational; we'll definitely be back, even if it's a detour.

The food, ambiance, atmosphere, and staff were all excellent. One minor drawback, however, is the urinals are incredibly smelly. You can't flush them. Use toilet spray and/or scented tablets. Fortunately, the food was excellent.

Fantastisch uitgebreid gedineerd ter gelegenheid van ons huwelijksjubileum. Mooi gedekte tafel, fijne wijnkeuze en erg uitgebreid luxe gerechten menu. Van oesters tot kalfstartar, van eend tot diamandhaas en uitstekende lam. Ik ben meer van visgerechten, dus erg genoten van zeetong, Japanse paling en zeebaars. Allemaal kleine proefporties en daarom uitnodigend om steeds andere gerecht te proeven. Kinderen hadden ook veel keus ( sushi) en uiteraard de grand dessert was een mooie afsluiter. Lekker genoten!

Luxurious all-you-can-eat. A bit more expensive than your average all-you-can-eat restaurant, but a completely different experience! The food is good. The dishes are delicious, beautifully presented, and everything is well-seasoned. The service is very friendly and polite. We found the desserts to be a bit lacking in quality, but they're excellent and offer plenty of choices.

Went here with my parents and was pleasantly surprised. Its not your standard all you can eat restaurant. You order one dish at a time and it is served in a really nice way. It really look like dishes from a high end restaurant. You can order as many times as you want. Food is served quite fast after ordering. The dessert is a buffet with lots and lots of choices. Parking is also great as there is lots of space. They could however add more invalide parking, just one spot for such a big restaurant is not enough. They also cater very well for people with allergies as you get a list of all dishes and you can see what is in it, and for some you can then order the dish without something specific like gluten or lactose.

We were recommended Chardonnay in Amersfoort by friends, so had high expectations. Unfortunately, the experience didn’t live up to the hype. Saturday is the most expensive day at nearly €55 per person, so you'd expect top service and quality – but that wasn’t the case. Service was slow and inattentive. We had to pour our own wine, which wasn’t kept in a cooler – just left on the table. We sat down at 7pm, ordered around 7:05, and didn’t receive our first course until 7:45 – quite a wait for an “all you can eat” concept. The restaurant was also very hot and stuffy, which made things uncomfortable. Food was ok, not anything special. Disappointing overall, especially given the price. Has potential but not there yet.

Very nice restaurant. Beautiful delicious dishes.. all you can eat, but because you order 1 dish at a time at the table,. no feeding barn. Not at all.. large restaurant but because of the division into smaller spaces you don't notice it. I like to come there very much!

Food was tasty and the menu varied enough. Sometimes a bit of a long wait for the order card to be picked up. They often came by to ask if there were any drinks. If you didn't ask for a bottle of table water, you got a small bottle of water (1 glass). They should have asked/offered it beforehand. Quite noisy because of all the people around you. Difficulty getting the food brought to the table by a robot cart that was presented by the waiter. So difficult to understand. Nice wide range of desserts that are offered in buffet form in a corridor across the direction to the toilets and have to be used for walking there and back. Busy, busy, busy so just skip desserts to avoid having to queue. Men's toilet with only 3 urinals, few for such a large establishment, smelled terribly of urine and there was a puddle of urine on the floor in front of the urinal. That really has to change with a block in the urinal and a puff of toilet spray when opening and closing the access door.

Been there a few times now and every time a great evening! Very friendly and hospitable staff. Delicious food, nice menu, good portions and nicely presented! We personally find the dessert buffet a bit less (also a bit cheap compared to the rest of the menu) but tastes differ 😉. This time the ice cream was very tasty!

Top restaurant! With something for everyone. Tapas, but in slightly larger portions and a bit more chic. Beautifully decorated restaurant, with robots driving around that transport plates. The terrace is truly wonderful to enjoy a warm summer evening under the parasols. Tapas are via a ticket system (which is neatly explained), and the desserts are on a gigantic buffet! The quality is exceptionally good!! Side-note: **Make sure to book in advance, especially on weekends or during holidays!!**

Delicious and diverse food served with hospitality and friendliness

Na vele goede recensies over dit restaurant gehoord te hebben besloten om daar ook eens naartoe te gaan. Het concept werd netjes uitgelegd en de drankjes werden snel gebracht. Je mag per ronde 1 gerecht uitkiezen en de 1e ronde duurde al best lang voordat we deze kregen. Als je het gerecht op hebt mag je een nieuwe ronde bestellen door je keuze in te vullen op een briefje en deze op tafel te zetten. Lege borden worden opgehaald, maar briefje wordt niet meteen meegenomen. Na 2,5 uur daar gezeten te hebben hadden we slechts 2 gerechten op. De bediening kwam vertellen dat er iets mis was gegaan in de keuken en we mochten bij wijze van uitzondering 2 gerechten tegelijk kiezen. Heel fijn, maar ondertussen was het al half 10 en raak je over je honger heen. Uiteindelijk nog wel een drankje van het huis gekregen als compensatie. Naar mijn idee loopt er te weinig bediening en zou het beter zijn om mensen via een qr code te laten bestellen. Dan kunnen er ook geen briefjes kwijt raken en heeft het personeel meer tijd om uit te serveren. Het eten was trouwens wel van goede kwaliteit, prijs is daarentegen fors. Teveel voor wat je ervoor terug krijgt. Prijs is exclusief drankjes.

We have been to Restaurant Chardonnay twice now and we enjoyed the food both times. The dishes are tasty, beautifully prepared and well-seasoned, they really radiate luxury. It is on the pricey side, especially because the price does not include drinks. You can easily spend around €60 per person, but you do get quality on your plate. Our first experience was great: friendly staff and everything ran smoothly. Unfortunately, the second time we had less attentive service, which affected the experience. The concept where you have to indicate on a card what you want to eat and then it is collected, ensures long breaks between courses. This gives you the feeling that you are drinking more than eating. It would also be nice if the side dishes offered more variety. Now it's mainly lettuce or fries, which is good in itself, but something different like baked potatoes or a baked potato would be nice for a change. With desserts it can also be a bit more luxurious, you have to get it yourself, which is no problem. But the presentation of the desserts does not match the luxury you see with the food, there is also more variety in the price. Furthermore, it is a charming restaurant in a quiet location, a bit in the middle of nowhere, but that also adds to the charm. In short: a beautiful place with good food, where there are still some small improvements to make the experience really great.

I and a friend came here to eat. No explanation was given about the map. My friend had the duck breast which was inedible. Tasted like smoked sausage from Hema. Leaving everything behind, we had to pay 125 euros for 2 small starters and two half-eaten main courses and 2 soft drinks each. Not recommended. We will never come back here for this price. Final score: we would have been better off taking a good bottle of Chardonnay for 125 euros.

I think this restaurant has enough reviews, that's why I'll start with other things. The location is great, prominent, large, free, easy parking and a good distance from surrounding cities. Once inside, neat setting, good decoration, great atmosphere. Tables are spacious, including the space around you, wonderful! And what I immediately liked and noticed is that the chair was comfortable (my partner also sat on the couch), and I never really sit comfortably! The service is fast, professional, and friendly. And they use robots, fancy tech. And then the most important thing. The food was simply great! Chic, tasty, balanced, varied. And surprisingly sweet? (Or very good ratio cooked or an occasional sprinkle of sweetness?) It is an All you can eat, but not a food bar. Eat what you want and fill your stomach, but it does not invite excessive eating behavior but rather enjoy-your-food behavior. This worked very well for me. The price is high, but you can see and taste that in the quality. When it comes to the food, let the photos do the talking. The only minor point I have is that it lacked some atmospheric music, but that's because I always have music on. Restaurant is highly recommended!

Met een gezelschap gegeten ivm viering 50 jarige huwelijksdag. We hadden een mooie aparte ruimte. Iedereen heeft heerlijk gegeten met daarna een ijsbuffet. Er werd goed aandacht besteed voor een persoon die gluten en lactose vrij was. Bediening was prima en voor iedereen werd tegelijk geserveerd. Bediening was top.

Ate with a group to celebrate our 50th wedding anniversary. We had a nice separate room. Everyone had a delicious meal followed by an ice cream buffet. Good attention was paid to a person who was gluten and lactose free. Service was excellent and everyone was served at the same time. Service was top notch.

Food was fine, some dishes were delicious, others less so and sometimes a bit tough. Service very varied, and here too much can be learned. Atmosphere was despite the enormous space, atmospheric, chapeau done. We will definitely come back.

Outside you still think... how big! Inside, all cozy 'spaces' have been created so that you feel like you are in a small restaurant. The entire process runs smoothly. Staff are very friendly and you get real personal attention. The food is great; nice menu, lots of choice, very tasty.

We accidentally came across this restaurant when driving from Veenendaal to Amersfoort. The name "chardonnay" caught our eye and we were surprised to see that it was an all you can eat. With food on the menu such as Angus beef, oysters and Sashimi you definitely don't expect this type of concept. Nevertheless, we went on a busy Friday evening and had an absolute blast. You can only order one menu item per round, but the portion sizes are great. Not to big, not to small. We were seated (party of 5) in a very pleasant area that had lots of round tables. It definitely did not feel crowded at all, but there is also a bigger area in the back of the restaurant that seemed to be less atmospheric, but I have to mention that I only had a quick glance on the way to the bathroom. Which was clean and the toilets individually were closed rooms. There were good options for our pregnant group member, and many options for me as a pescetarian, and the guys loved the different meats they served. With the side note that at the beginning of the evening the meat was amazing, but later in the evening it became less tender and seemed to be rushed done. Spending wise: We had a bottle of wine, multiple water bottles, several different drinks individually, high quality all you can eat menu (with the exciting dessert bar included), all of us had coffee after and we left a tip = 80 euro p.p. Overall great experience with pleasant and attentive waiters. Would definitely recommend it.

Hoewel het restaurant een aanzienlijke hoeveelheid gasten kan ontvangen , heb je toch het idee dat je in een 'gewoon' restaurant zit. Erg prettig dat de gerechten worden uitgeserveerd en de keuze is reuze, om maar eens een cliché te gebruiken. Het smaakte allemaal prima en ook het personeel komt prettig over. Wij gaan zeker nog eens terug hoewel het voor ons niet in de buurt is.

Really good food and service. One warning though! If you come by car, do NOT leave any valuables in the car. The place is very remote and there were some burglaries from parked cars there lately. There are no camera's as the parking lot is very big.

It's a fancy all you can eat restaurant. 1 item for each order, unlimited. All in small portions. The restaurant has a formal dining ambiance. The food tastes good and served in the good timing.

Very tasty food, but unfortunately I left hungry due to the long wait. The concept of the restaurant is super fun. The quality of the food is also nothing to complain about! Unfortunately the service was less. We were told that the kitchen would close at 10 o'clock and that we could order two more dishes. Because we had to wait a very long time between dishes. Then the manager came to say that this was absolutely not the intention. However, this was not our idea but an offer from the staff.

Went again this evening on previous visits very satisfied but tonight from a 9 to a measly 7 the food sent a parking permit plate was warm but the food cold The service was also not at home with the table numbers and Easter meals, EenVandaag offered another table. Very unfortunate for what we are used to.

Tried to make a reservation for 6 people tonight… “can you do that online? Ehm, no, I like personal contact and so I like to call. Yes, but we are busy with dinner now, you can call back tomorrow between 1 and 4 pm…” flabbergasted! She could have taken this reservation at the same time. We were looking forward to a nice evening of eating and drinking with you, but if this is the level/premonition of hospitality, we will pass it up!

We expected much more from this, very long wait for your food. The food itself was tasty, but if we have to wait 45 minutes for a carpaccio, I think that is very long. We left hungry. Once but never again

The food is really nice and of good quality. However some portions are pretty large and others are really small, so there is not really a stadard portion size. The ambiance is cozy and the servers are very friendly and up for a conversation, however it can be diffucult to flag them down for questions as theyre constantly "busy". There is a more family dining area and more formal dining area and they even have some private dining rooms available, if i'm correct. I love that you can get any dessert you want from the dessert buffet and it seems okay based on hygenics.

A large restaurant with robots bringing food and with an interesting all you can eat formula. Worth a visit but a bit massive for my liking. It feels a bit 1980's to me.

You can eat here unlimitedly, drinks are not included in the price. You can order the starters and main courses by writing on a note, which will then be collected. You can pick up your own desert from a buffet. There is a large parking lot in front of the door.

Very nice concept, a bit more luxurious, you eat smaller, luxuriously prepared mini dishes in different courses, and that is of course not new, but the food does taste very good! They have tenderloin tips, chicken dumplings, and soups, and the automatic dish delivery (which is served by a waitress) is very humorous, fun!

Unbelievable how they can deliver food and drinks in a short time with a full restaurant and limited staff. Friendly and cordial staff, a lot of logistics work is done via robots, which works effectively. Food is usually good to very good.
