New York Pizza in Wijk 00 Hellevoet

Normally always really delicious, but lately we have to wait a very long time and things often go wrong: wrong type of crust, wrong ingredients on top. Very disappointing.

We placed three orders (large group) – 26 pizzas and a salad – with delivery windows of 6:15-6:30 PM, 6:30 PM, and 6:15-6:45 PM. We called at 7:00 PM and were told the pizzas would arrive in 15-20 minutes. Around 7:30 PM, the driver arrived at the campsite. Two pizzas were missing, and two incorrect pizzas were delivered. Many of the pizzas had incorrect toppings (wrong/missing toppings, garlic on the crust, wrong base, etc.). The pizzas were cold. The highlight: we ordered for almost €400, and there wasn't even a bottle of Coke or wine included. Never again!

Lovely delivery drivers, food is delicious and never cold, really recommend

If you like cold pizza, this is the place to be. The first pizza was cold, so I called and they said the second one was on its way. So, full of anticipation, I was waiting by the window, and sure enough, I saw it arriving (all happy), my mouth was watering. But the happiness was short-lived; it passed my house by. Saddened, I sat on the couch until the doorbell rang, and sure enough, there was the pizza (total wait time 1.30 min). I was a little happy again, but then, you wouldn't expect it, it was COLD again. I'm still sitting sadly on the couch. So, the tip of the week: don't order from New York Pizza.

Apparently, we are not the only ones experiencing these problems. First of all, we have to wait more than an hour for our order of 2 pizzas. According to the tracking, the order has been ready for shipment since 18:10, but it was finally delivered at 18:45. The pizzas are ice cold and can be picked up in their entirety; you can even throw them like a frisbee. On top of that, the box is soaked in oil. When you call, you are told that you can get a credit for next time and that you just have to eat this cold frisbee pizza for now.

Received an order in which 1 item was missing. Called the shop; the staff were very unfriendly and said they couldn't do anything, even though I was missing something I had already paid for. The staff then suddenly hung up without saying anything. I called back again because I hadn't received something from my order, even though I had already paid for it. The staff said again that they couldn't do anything about it and called me a liar. The money is gone and there is no food either; what terrible customer service. Don't order anything here! This is not the first time this has happened.

Called because half of the order was missing, then they said the rest would be brought ASAP and then just didn't show up anymore. Antisocial company in New York, never again...

What a disgrace. Placed the order at 5:53 PM, it was supposed to take 40 minutes. At 6:08 PM I got a notification that the pizza had been delivered. Pretty odd, haven't seen a living soul yet, but anyway, waited another 5 minutes or so. No one in sight. Called anyway; the response was that orders are automatically marked as ready, but that the delivery person really must be here soon. 5 minutes later I get a call: pizza delivered to the wrong address. Ask what I want now... uhhhh how about my food, for which I've already paid more than enough. Great, sitting here waiting with a hungry kid, as if I have many options. But considering basically all the other reviews about this location, I guess I should be glad I'm getting food at all.

Very tiring when you have an allergy. Every time, the pizza isn't right when it's delivered, and then an hour later you're sitting there eating alone... this time they had cut the gluten-free pizza, which normally doesn't happen to prevent cross-contamination. I called specifically to check. It should be fine, it was done with a clean knife... After the first few bites, sore spots appeared on my tongue... which still haven't gone away days later and are causing a lot of pain (just imagine what else this does to the intestines).

The pizzas were cold. The 4-cheese pizzas were tasteless. I contacted them and said they were cold, but they were very busy. They couldn't do anything about that. First time at New York Pizza, but it was the last time.

I ordered a pizza. And then it suddenly started snowing heavily. The delivery drivers stopped driving, which is understandable. They asked for my account number to get a refund. At first, I thought, "That's fine." After a week, I received nothing. A guy called, not the owner. He didn't dare call, of course, and asked if I wanted to email my account number and contact information again. I told him this was nonsense; they already had everything. I told the owner to call back himself. So far, I haven't called and haven't received a refund. So, I'm definitely losing my customer service. I'll never order from you again. It's a terrible story from such a chain.

I ordered 30 minutes before they closed (without knowing they were closing) they delivered within 30 minutes, great pizza if you like thick dough, it was great!

I'd be embarrassed if this were my company. The first time, they forgot one of the three pizzas, and the second time, they delivered the wrong one. Two hours later, they finally managed to get it right.

The order never arrived. No one called, and the message said the order had been delivered. Shameful. First and last time I order.

I ordered three delicious pizzas. After an hour and 10 minutes, I finally called. It turned out they'd just picked up the dough in Brielle, and it would take at least another 45 minutes. It's quite remarkable that there was no communication whatsoever about the longer delivery time.

I ordered 2 pizzas yesterday at 21:05 and paid 29,65€ through Thuisbezorgd app and i have not recieve my pizzas at all. On the app it said delivered and the driver said he recieved it so they cant even give me back my money as they told me in todays conversation so i would definitely not risk ordering from this place or atleast dont pay upfront for it… Not the best experience

Forgot the sauce on the pizza for the umpteenth time. It was then delivered 30 minutes later, leaving me with a cold pizza... such a shame.

This was our last time at New York Pizza. The chicken wings were incredibly greasy. And the two pizzas we ordered—they're not always good, but we've never had them this bad... the grease was literally dripping out of the box! Ingredients were missing, like cheddar on the edge of one pizza, no peppers on the hot and spicy pizzas, hardly any paprika... and on top of that, a very thick layer of tomato sauce on the edges, olives all over the pizza, and an excessive amount of pesto on the caprese... the pizzas were simply not tasty and, moreover, only half-sliced ​​(which isn't the worst part, but it was still acceptable). It's a real shame it turned out this bad. Normally, we report any issues, but today it was so awful that we didn't even want to bother. The pizzas were thrown away.

Waited 2 hours for a pizza that wasn't delivered, no phone call, nothing

Normally, I'm quite satisfied. But today, I got a buffalo chicken pizza that was green with parsley. It looked like a whole jar had been thrown on it. I didn't ask for any extra herbs either. It's a shame, because the pizza wasn't good.

Unfortunately, I waited almost an hour for a lukewarm pizza. I wouldn't accept the free oregano unless you're willing to scrape it off because they'll pour a whole jar over it. Every bite of my cold pizza leaves twigs in my mouth. I'd happily order from Domino's.

Solid pizza to take away or have delivered.

I order regularly, but the quality is deteriorating. On the left is what you order, on the right is what you get... come on, seriously, this has to improve.

Ordered 2 pizzas to pick up, Standing in the store at the cash register, Just ignored, boy behind the cash register looks down and just walks away. Had to ask another boy who happened to walk by for my order. Pizzas were cold even though they were just ready. 1 pizza tasted good, The other had almost nothing on it. I order here very often, but never again from today.

The orders come later and later every time! Today I waited 1 hour and they give a maximum delivery time of 15-40 minutes. The pizzas in general have nothing to do with the description, they use cheap substitutes for cheese and sausages, but when I don't have time to cook I put up with it. Today, however, I literally went hungry! I received a pizza crust covered with a jar of tasteless tomato paste, which I threw in the trash! Shame on you!

Was delivered quickly, the pizza tastes great but the calzone mini bites were not tasty.

Scammers: Receive almost daily (sometimes 2 emails per day) with offers from New York pizza, now 2nd pizza half price, but then simply charge full price. If you call to say that this is not correct, you will be treated in such a customer-unfriendly manner, NEVER again!! It's just pure fraud!

Pizza was very tasty in terms of taste. The dough was nice and fluffy. Unfortunately the toppings for the salami pizzas were very poor. It could have been a few more slices. Hence one star less. We ordered the pizzas to take away. You can also have the pizzas delivered. Parking is free around the corner at the AH supermarket. Prices were okay.

After 1 hour and 7 minutes the pizzas have not been delivered or delivered. The owner and manager who do not know how to manage this store at all have decided to withdraw the order and recall the delivery person. This is unacceptable and therefore shows the professionalism of these 2 managers…uhham. An order of 4 pizzas of which I am entitled to an extra because it didn't go well the last time (they can't do that either). My children don't get pizza because NY has withdrawn it because they can't speak to me and the extra 7 minutes doesn't matter to them. I will never order pizza from NY again.

Called to say that Giant Chocolate Chip Cookie had been delivered. This would be delivered after consultation with the manager. Of course nothing was delivered. Complaint submitted via website and called back in the evening. It would now be delivered on Sunday. Of course there is nothing to worry about again!! Lousy service. NYP is definitely an exit for me.

There were enough toppings on the pizza and the base was not soft, which is the case at other pizzerias when you deliver. Pizza came 20 minutes later after the time I communicated over the phone but otherwise I liked it. If you have patience, it is definitely recommended.

4 minuten voor sluiting besteld voor bezorging. Ik was vergeten fooi bij de bestelling te doen omdat ik snel wilde bestellen voordat ze sluiten. De pizzas werden ruim voor verwachtte tijd bezorgd. Toen ik vroeg of ik via Tikkie een fooitje kon geven zei hij “Laat maar een goede review achter” hij was zo chill en hij is mijn nieuwe idool. Alleen maar love ❤️❤️❤️

You order a 4 cheese pizza (check the website to see what this should look like) and you receive a pizza that has been in the oven for too long and on which the gorgonzola can be found with a magnifying glass... You call, get an uninterested girl on the line; solution is to exchange a new pizza; Result: once again a pizza that has been in the oven for too long. So I lost a customer and the pizzas were sent back... it is not recommended to order 'pizzas' here

This used to be the best and really every location but nowadays expensive standard pizza that you can get anywhere if you know where to order best give it a low rating because it is just too expensive for what you get pizza was a 6.5 /10 always used to be a big 9/10 10/10 very unfortunate...

Van de 11 pizza’s die we besteld hebben waren er zeker 5 bedorven waardoor we 5 kinderen hadden die voedselvergiftiging hebben opgelopen. Volgende dag direct gemaild naar het bedrijf en tot op vandaag niets van de franchisenemer gehoord. De klantenservice heeft ons vandaag 1 gratis pizza aangeboden voor het leed wat wij geleden hebben. 🤣🤣 echt belachelijk!!! Voor ons geen newyork pizza meer.

Twee pizza’s laten bezorgen die helaas lauw aankwamen. De smaak was in orde maar de krokante korst, waar ze bij NY pizza zo trots op zijn, was echt niet te eten. Vervolgens de pizza’s maar even in de oven gelegd en toen werden ze wel weer beter maar daar betaal je natuurlijk geen € 30,00 voor. Dan kan ik net zo goed een Oetkertje bij de supermarkt halen. Telefonisch de klacht doorgegeven en na enig overleg werd er voor de volgende keer 50% korting aangeboden. Volgende keer?

The pizzas are delicious, but... I wish the employees would not roll out the pizza dough, touch the computer with gloves, perform the action and then roll out the dough again.

Ordered online, pizzas were steaming hot, NY style bottom meatlovers was tasty and plenty of meat.

It's nice that New York pizza doesn't charge anything for the plastic as of July 1, but the pizzas have become 1 euro more expensive

Highly recommended. The tastiest pizzas in Hellevoet! I always order here and am very satisfied with the pizzas. They are lavishly filled and the delivery is really great. Orders are always delivered quickly and the delivery people are always friendly. Last time something went wrong with the pizzas for the first time. This was raised via a general email address and the employee/manager Ayoub/Eyup contacted us the same evening to look for a solution together. Excellent service, customer friendliness and service orientation get a 10 from me! Keep it up New York Pizza.

Wij gingen voor het eerst bestellen bij New York Pizza.....wat een aanfluiting!!! We bestelde om 18.00 ,zou om 18.50 bezorgd worden....kwam pas om 19.10 aan... De pizza's waren prima van smaak en het deeg is idd lekker!!! Jammer dat de Pizza's koud waren!!! Wat een teleurstelling Voor ons niet meer bestellen bij deze zaak.

De lekkerste pizza's uit Hellevoetsluis. Rijkelijk belegd en kunnen heel goed rekening houden met allergieën. Bezorging is ook top. Heb er een foto bijgevoegd. Deze pizza hebben ze koemelkvrij voor me gemaakt. De dotjes mayonaise heb ik er zelf op gedaan ;‐)

Over de pizza's ben ik zeer tevreden. Wel vraag ik mij af of er vaker klachten over de fietsbezorgers komen en of deze bezorgers hierop aangesproken worden. 4/5 steken over zonder te kijken op plekken waar zij geen voorrang hebben of maken gebruik van hun telefoon. Beetje oplettendheid in het verkeer mag echt wel.

We bestelden om te laten leveren. Er is heel wat keuze in soorten pizza’s, net iets anders dan anders. De pizza’s zijn goed belegd, hebben een dunne bodem en zijn erg lekker. Levering na 20 minuten.

Voor de eerste keer hier pizza gehaald. De Barbecue Chicken pizza smaakte prima. Quatre formaggi viel flink tegen. Amper beleg. De kaas die we proefden smaakte naar kruidenboter. Verder proefden we niets aan kaas. Echt balen! Want we hadden er een large pizza van besteld en daar betaal je ook naar..

Gewoon heerlijke pizza gegeten. Vooral Italiaanse bodem is een aanrader!
