Just a cozy beach pavilion with friendly staff.

We waited 1.5 hours for our food. The food was tasty, but I'm now €100 poorer (for two people) for a mediocre, solid meal, and I'm still hungry.

Great view, delicious breakfast. We paid €60 for two sandwiches, two yogurt bowls, a bottle of water, and two coffees.

We had a good meal and the service was friendly. The food was tasty, but really very expensive. Mussels €25 without anything on the side, sweet potato fries for €9🙃 Also, the waitress spilled a whole glass of cava over my boyfriend. It can happen, but it would have been polite to offer something afterwards or at least take it off the bill.

Great vibe and beautiful sunset, the food is average and the staff not very attentive on the beach side. Can’t get them to come when needed, only when ordering with QR when they bring the food ordered.

Nice restaurant/bar at the beach at Zandvoort. Stunning location with a big terrace to enjoy the sea and sun. Reasonable good food and drinks. Friendly personnel with a fast service. Plenty of public paid parking space within a 10 minutes walk.

Exceptionally friendly staff. Had a delicious meal with the grandchildren, who were certainly given attention. Highly recommended and they will definitely see us again.

The food is fine. Nice location...in fact, it's the very first beach bar you come to when entering Zandvoort aan Zee from the middle and heading left. It is quite pricey, though, but oh well...all beach bars there are 'expensive'. After dinner, we also had a drink on the beach there...feet in the sand, great! Appetizer Spritz over €12...takes getting used to...what a lot of money, right?! All in all...had a nice evening and that's what matters.

The North Sea is beautiful. Unexpected. A must-see.

I came here to have a drink with my colleagues, but a blonde woman made the reception difficult. We ended up going to the better neighbor's place instead.

We just wanted to have a drink, but after the unfriendly reception, we left. A shame.

NIUS is a great restaurant on the seafront, with a pleasant atmosphere, friendly staff, good music and a pleasant dinner.

Came for a bite to eat and something to drink, chose from the not exactly low price menu, but alright, food was seriously good, too, but when I asked for the check I got charged 2,50 more than by my calculation. Waiter told me that's the prices in his terminal, I pointed out lower prices are in the menu, right there in writing on paper on the table. He apologized and declared those prices in the menu on the table are not correct. I paid the plus as I couldn't be bothered to make a fuzz in my holiday, but playing a rigged game they can play alone.

I came here with my husband and we just wanted to have a good time. We are both very well-behaved and you can barely hear us. We were treated very racially by an employee. Very disrespectful! I really wouldn't spend your money here!

It was indicated by phone that reservations were not possible. That is why I came extra early from the other side of the Netherlands, but upon arrival, it turned out that everything was reserved after all. This has now happened for the second time. Moreover, even hours later, not all beds were occupied, making this unnecessarily annoying for everyone.

I was here with my wife during the nice weather on the weekend. I have slightly dark skin and my wife is Moroccan. We are both very well-mannered and just wanted to have a good time. Unfortunately, we were treated racistly by an employee, a tall young man with blond hair and a slightly hoarse voice. I really think this is unacceptable and I have never experienced anything like this before. Afterwards, when we had spoken to the young man about his behavior, he started raising his voice; only after we had perhaps spent a few seconds going back and forth and made it clear that his behavior was completely unacceptable, did he walk away. So, a very strange place, probably very racist too; I wouldn't come here!

As a resident of Zandvoort, I considered myself a regular customer of this establishment, but lately there is little sign of customer service or hospitality. On busy days, the place is expertly barricaded, complete with a mandatory check-in with the doorman, as if it were a nightclub on a Saturday night. Subsequently, a brief interrogation determines whether you are assigned a seat. Simply having a cup of coffee is not accepted (too little revenue in prospect, I suspect), after which you are simply turned away. For me, as a resident, this was the last time.

The best beach bar in Zandvoort with the most delicious yogurt breakfast, the friendliest staff, and the funniest taps 🥰 They also have comfortable sun loungers with wind protection and their own beach bar ⛱️ A highlight of our holiday ☀️🙏

It was a perfect day at Nius Beach. We used to go to other places at Zandvoort but this one made us really feel like on holiday. The seating area is not stuffed, so you sit comfortably. The staff was extremely kind and helpful and kid friendly as well. We will definitely be back!

Nice place. Reasonable prices. Tasty food. Friendly service. But!! The waiter (a young blond man) cheated me and overcharged me by 10 euros. Three 4-euro coffees plus an 11-euro pancake plus a scrambled egg burger = 42.50 euros plus tip

Without a reservation, you won't get a table here on summer evenings. We were lucky. We had a delicious meal and drinks. Although, €20 for a burger without any sides is quite a lot. We'll still gladly come back.

A fantastic spot for lunch right by the sea. Great design, relaxing music, and a really good selection of drinks. The quality of the food is significantly better than typical tourist traps. Everything tastes fresh and prepared with care. We'll definitely be back!

Lovely spot and fast service. But the hamburger was 22 euros and raw on the inside. Also, the burger came without fries, for which you had to pay another 6 euros.

Great location! Sure, it's a bit pricey with a sea view, but everyone knows that, and if it bothers you, you simply don't come here! The staff were really attentive and friendly over Easter! Fast and good service! The burger with fries was perfect, the ribs were unusually seasoned, unfortunately a bit cold, but very tender and flavorful. The avocado and feta sandwich was also delicious! Everything was excellent, and the sea view is priceless anyway.

We were in Zandervoort in October 2024 and went to this lovely beach pavilion to warm up. Very comfortable seating by the open fireplace. It's really something. Small feathered visitors were also tolerated; no one seemed to mind. =)

I've been here many times, but I think today was the last time. I was allowed to sit at a table inside that hadn't been cleared, but they didn't. It took fifteen minutes to order a drink, and I had to ask if they could take the stuff off the table. No tablecloth. Had to wait until 5 o'clock for dinner. It was another fifteen minutes, but that was fine. Ordered a hamburger for 22 euros! No fries, way too expensive for what you get. Too much sauce on it. Ordered fries separately for 6 euros. For greasy, overcooked fries made with skin-on potatoes (I don't like them, and they don't mention it). All in all, expensive food with poor quality. This wasn't the case before. And the staff were too busy chatting with each other instead of helping customers.

We had a wonderful evening at Nius Beach House! As locals, born and raised in Zandvoort, we know the beach and the restaurants like the back of our hand. The relaxed atmosphere, unhurried (no time slots!), and good food—that's what keeps us coming back to Nius. A year-round pavilion with friendly, knowledgeable staff, and comfortable seating both inside and outside. And of course, when the weather is super hot, you have to wait a little longer, which is par for the course. The staff goes above and beyond; it's hard work on the beach! Tonight we enjoyed a delicious selection of fish: oysters, sea bass ceviche, mussels, and a tuna taco. The salads and poke bowl were also delicious! We'll definitely be back!🥰

I was there yesterday during Carnival (one of the few beach clubs that were even open). Because of the crowds, it was quite busy, and the staff was certainly busy, but still, around 30% of the indoor tables were empty at lunchtime, either unoccupied or not assigned despite asking. Very disappointing…

Don’t bother coming here on a sunny day in February as they will take 45 minutes to serve drinks. And then when you ask for your money back, they will refuse to give it to you. Great experience! Will be back soon P.S. the staff are very rude ✅

Beautiful Saturday, lovely for a drink and a bite to eat. Not here, drive all the way outside; 75% of all patio spots are free but full of dirty dishes. We'll go elsewhere. Missed opportunity.

Had a sandwich and salad here. What a disappointment. Truly subpar. Embarrassingly bad and sparse. How this is still served is beyond me. Who's in charge of the kitchen here?!

Nice food but service is horrible. We waited 20 mins in line while half the tables were free inside. We ordered drinks and food via the qr code and only drinks came. 1 h later they told us that they cannot see the food we ordered and asked to see our bank app that we paid. We showed them, they were super weird about it but in the end the brought the food 1.5 h later from the time we ordered. Then the waiter spilled red wine on the couple sitting next to us, coat,shoes all covered in red wine and 2 waitresses were giggling instead of helping with the situation. The food was super nice so they know what they are doing in the kitchen, but the service is very poorly managed.

I've been DJing here for years, and you always feel welcome. It's a great place.

The place was half empty, with several seats without tables, but around 5 p.m., several people were immediately turned away who wanted a drink or snack but didn't want to eat a meal. Good to know before you go.

Wintery, wet, and cold – inside, several fireplaces create a cozy atmosphere. The entrance area is attractively designed, and the rooms are generally inviting. The last room is somewhat sparsely furnished, but still pleasant. However, the prices are exceptionally high. The service was rather distant and not very warm.

I had a satay here yesterday. It tasted fine, but the amount was ridiculously high for the price. Two small satays, a little satay sauce, a tiny bit, three prawn crackers, and some pickled vegetables. Unfortunately, this wasn't worth the price. And then you had to pay for the fries separately. I ordered truffle fries and got a small container of sweet potato fries with a tiny little container of truffle mayo. No, I won't be back.

Great place with friendly staff and good food. The first round went wrong, but they resolved it nicely, and it was delicious. Mussels with curry and Coco's are a delicious combination, and the kimchi burger was also excellent.

We stopped at Nius on Sunday in beautiful winter weather. The numerous visitors were ushered to their tables by an attendant (presumably a job creation scheme). We, however, who wanted a table outside, were only shown the direction of available spaces. Ordering via QR code was fine. The food, a boules and chicken sticks, was served with coffee spoons or without forks; napkins seem to be considered superfluous here. Oh yes, our cold drinks arrived after we had finished eating. The final coffee was rather cold. They were clearly cutting corners here too; sugar and milk were nowhere to be found, not to mention the usual cup of coffee. At the neighboring tables, we observed that they were only cleared when new guests arrived, even though the servers frequently passed by with empty trays. All in all: completely inadequate service, yet a hefty price: 40 euros. Not recommended; we will be giving Nius a wide berth in the future.

Way, way too expensive for what you get for lunch! Had lunch here for two. I really wanted a flammenkuche as a starter... unfortunately, that wasn't possible because the kitchen couldn't handle it. What the kitchen could handle was a satay, and a real SATAY, two small skewers with 2.5 pieces of meat, some satay sauce, and to top it all off, three colorful prawn crackers for €23! Then came the chicken burger, three small pieces of chicken on a bun for €21. We had to order limp, thin fries separately for €6, because there were absolutely no toppings. There's still a lot of work to be done here, starting with the portions and the prices. Good luck in the future.

A nice, cozy place for a drink, but definitely not for a meal. The food was disappointing; the sea bass wasn't sea bass, but skrei, and not exactly bers either. The fries were overcooked. In short, not worth repeating.

Simply fantastic! Whenever we're in Zandvoort, we always come here to eat and enjoy the wonderful atmosphere. Especially in the winter months, you can easily spend hours here watching the storms outside. The drinks and food are absolutely delicious, and the service is quick and friendly. We're already looking forward to our next visit!

It used to be better. The tables and the menu were dirty and sticky. The young waiter didn't seem to care either—I had to wait ages just to order. And it continued like that for a while. A real shame, as the location itself is very nice.

A complete rip-off. The "classic" hot dog is as far removed from a real hot dog as Zandvoort is from New York. The Amsterdam croquettes were two slices of bread and two "croquettes" with a bit of mayo and a few small gherkins. 15 euros. The price is outrageous. The homemade lemonade tasted like watered-down apple juice with a hint of lemon. Inside, sparrows were flying around and pooping all over the place. The two stars were only for the location with a sea view.

To wrap up our vacation, we stopped at Nius. The place is incredibly cozy, with a fireplace in the middle of the room. The interior really invites you to linger. We had a burger, fries, and a tarte flambée. Both were tasty, but for the price, we would have expected larger portions.
