Great place with friendly staff and good food. The first round went wrong, but they resolved it nicely, and it was delicious. Mussels with curry and Coco's are a delicious combination, and the kimchi burger was also excellent.

We stopped at Nius on Sunday in beautiful winter weather. The numerous visitors were ushered to their tables by an attendant (presumably a job creation scheme). We, however, who wanted a table outside, were only shown the direction of available spaces. Ordering via QR code was fine. The food, a boules and chicken sticks, was served with coffee spoons or without forks; napkins seem to be considered superfluous here. Oh yes, our cold drinks arrived after we had finished eating. The final coffee was rather cold. They were clearly cutting corners here too; sugar and milk were nowhere to be found, not to mention the usual cup of coffee. At the neighboring tables, we observed that they were only cleared when new guests arrived, even though the servers frequently passed by with empty trays. All in all: completely inadequate service, yet a hefty price: 40 euros. Not recommended; we will be giving Nius a wide berth in the future.

Way, way too expensive for what you get for lunch! Had lunch here for two. I really wanted a flammenkuche as a starter... unfortunately, that wasn't possible because the kitchen couldn't handle it. What the kitchen could handle was a satay, and a real SATAY, two small skewers with 2.5 pieces of meat, some satay sauce, and to top it all off, three colorful prawn crackers for €23! Then came the chicken burger, three small pieces of chicken on a bun for €21. We had to order limp, thin fries separately for €6, because there were absolutely no toppings. There's still a lot of work to be done here, starting with the portions and the prices. Good luck in the future.

January 16, 2026: Now our fourth year here and still fantastic... ❤️ January 8, 2025: This is our third year in a row here in January, and we thoroughly enjoyed it. Hot chocolate and cheesecake after a walk on the beach in the cool breeze are highly recommended...

A nice, cozy place for a drink, but definitely not for a meal. The food was disappointing; the sea bass wasn't sea bass, but skrei, and not exactly bers either. The fries were overcooked. In short, not worth repeating.

Simply fantastic! Whenever we're in Zandvoort, we always come here to eat and enjoy the wonderful atmosphere. Especially in the winter months, you can easily spend hours here watching the storms outside. The drinks and food are absolutely delicious, and the service is quick and friendly. We're already looking forward to our next visit!

We had a delicious breakfast in a great atmosphere, and the staff were very friendly. The only downside was that the cappuccino was quite small, but it was really good. You do pay a price for a restaurant in a prime location – we'll gladly come back.

It used to be better. The tables and the menu were dirty and sticky. The young waiter didn't seem to care either—I had to wait ages just to order. And it continued like that for a while. A real shame, as the location itself is very nice.

A complete rip-off. The "classic" hot dog is as far removed from a real hot dog as Zandvoort is from New York. The Amsterdam croquettes were two slices of bread and two "croquettes" with a bit of mayo and a few small gherkins. 15 euros. The price is outrageous. The homemade lemonade tasted like watered-down apple juice with a hint of lemon. Inside, sparrows were flying around and pooping all over the place. The two stars were only for the location with a sea view.

We only had drinks here, but the beach house has a wonderful atmosphere. It's right on the beach with a view of the sea. It's definitely recommended to have a delicious drink here at sunset.

To wrap up our vacation, we stopped at Nius. The place is incredibly cozy, with a fireplace in the middle of the room. The interior really invites you to linger. We had a burger, fries, and a tarte flambée. Both were tasty, but for the price, we would have expected larger portions.

Bad vibes. Rude male waiter turned us away for asking for 2 bottles of coke because they were TOO BUSY - at 11am - with plenty of tables free and the beach empty. It would have taken one minute to serve us, the drink fridge was directly behind him, but he wanted us to wait 30 whilst he took the frustration of his day out on us because we aren’t Dutch!

Turned away at the bar after being told (rudely) to wait. All we requested was bottled drinks (directly behind the barman) and we were told after being made to wait that maybe in half an hour or so they might serve us but they were too busy right now. It's the morning, no tables inside are occupied. Maybe a third of outside tables have anyone at them. Clearly tourists aren't welcome.

Beautiful ambiance, but prices are completely inflated. The "Meat Platter" in the photo cost an incredible €70 (€35 per person). Unfortunately, it wasn't worth it; it was more like €35 for the platter and €35 ​​for the view. Ohana and other nearby pavilions are better positioned.

I don't normally post, but this was 5* unexpected experience! We only came for a glass of wine withy husband, but have had such a lovely experience with treating us like we were very special guests, lovely atmosphere, attentive waiters and very tempting menu, which we will come back and try! The house red is my favourite, tasty!!😻😻 thank you for the memorable evening!!

We come here often; normally, the atmosphere is nice. But now, all the girls don't know what service means, and it was clear there was no manager present. Zero attention. A steak of almost 30 euros served on a stainless steel plate, etc.

We first treated ourselves to a few drinks – then spontaneously decided to stay for dinner and moved to a table on the spacious terrace. The service was consistently friendly, attentive, and well-organized. The cocktails were excellent, as were the food and desserts. The large terrace is a great place to linger, especially in nice weather with a view of the sea. The interior is also very stylish and cozy. The restrooms were clean and well-maintained 👍

€6.90 for a bottle of water at 30 degrees? And then offer it without mentioning the price? Is it really going well there or has the brain of this tent owner also been affected by the heat wave? In other places water is free, especially in this weather. That way it is easy to distinguish when a tent puts capitalist interests above the health of its customers.

Got dessert and coke with both a hair in them! No suitable solution was attempted to be discussed. Not friendly nor competent staff. Ice cream should be a ball of white chocolate, was just a ball of vanilla.

*hair in food, no adequate response* We came for a dessert and a drink. It was a beautiful setting, lovely sunshine and we were served fairly quickly. Unfortunately, the desserts were not as tasty as the sun. We ordered four desserts: an affogato, churros, one with frozen yoghurt and one based on white chocolate. Only the affogato was experienced as ‘okay’. The frozen yoghurt had a remarkably strong anise flavour and was more salty than sweet. The white chocolate dessert reminded me of a ball of vanilla ice cream in puff pastry with dark chocolate, not really special. The churros were very greasy, had hardly any sugar and the chocolate sauce was too intense. To make matters worse, after the first churro we found a hair in the next one. We reported this to the staff, who took the plate to the kitchen. Because we did not like the churros anyway, I got up myself to indicate that we did not need a replacement portion. No one at the table was interested in this. During that conversation I was asked if I was sure, “because I had already paid for it” – while we hadn’t even paid yet. I didn’t want to make a big deal about it, but in a situation like that you expect a different attitude. For example, the question whether we were even open to an alternative or another form of compensation. Instead it was: either a new portion, or nothing. In the end we paid €50 for four desserts and three drinks. Given the quality and experience, I wouldn’t come back here specifically for the dessert. The atmosphere and location are otherwise fine.

we wanted to order mussels for the sun loungers, we were refused, even the manager in a pompous uniform, while the woman at the next sun lounger was being brought a second plate. I will also note that the bathroom is in a dirty state.

UPDATE June 2025: Still unchanged, and still very tasty latte macchiato and cappuccino with expensive (non-bitter) beans, and excellent apple pie. The rest of the food is unfortunately reminiscent of fast food. JULY 2023: Interesting, pleasant ambiance, prime location, the freshly squeezed orange juice is actually freshly squeezed and undiluted, friendly staff, but the main course, BBQ chicken, was more for those with a light appetite. The apple pie, with a small amount of dough and plenty of apple, tastes excellent, and the latte macchiato, with an expensive (non-bitter) bean, is very tasty.

We were in Zandvoort over Easter and discovered the NIUS Beachhouse on our first morning. The breakfast and service were so good that we went there every morning. We also tested the snacks and dinner one evening. Everything was delicious, our service was always friendly and our dog was also treated very kindly here. I'm already looking forward to next year, when we can have breakfast there again and chill out on the beach! ☺️

We had an great time at NEO’s Beach House! From the moment we arrived, the service was exceptional—warm, attentive, and truly above and beyond. The food was absolutely delicious and freshly prepared. We enjoyed the sea bass, which was cooked to perfection, and the pumpkin soup, which was rich and flavorful. The calamari were crispy and fresh, just as they should be. To top it all off, we indulged in a beautifully made carrot cake, paired with a perfectly crafted cappuccino—the ideal way to end a fantastic meal. All at a reasonable price. A huge thank you to the wonderful team for taking such great care of us. We can’t recommend NEO’s Beach House enough and will definitely be back!
