NK Thai Noodles in De Weteringschans

En una de nuestras noches de viaje en Ámsterdam encontramos un restaurante de cocina tailandesa local justo en la calle de nuestro hotel. Este lugar estaba a punto de cerrar, pero aún así nos dio la bienvenida para disfrutar de una deliciosa comida. Mi novia y yo compartimos el Pad Thai y el Pad Sew Ew y fue lo más destacado de nuestro viaje. Un saludo al servicio de atención al cliente, ya que fueron atentos y nos hicieron sentir que no teníamos prisa durante las últimas horas de funcionamiento. ¡Volvería al 100%!

Food is nice.. Simple menu.. As asian I love it.. Authentic Thai taste.. 👍. Good crowd too..

Amazing, authentic Thai food. Everything was fresh and delicious. The Pad Kee Mao was the dish I ordered with a side of papaya salad and I devoured every single bite if it. Highly recommend this restaurant. Staff is super nice and sweet.

We came thru a hectic day from Brussel. Amsterdam is our last stop. We just wanted to find a Comfort food nearby our hotel. We decided to come without hesitation. We enjoyed the Beef noodle soup and Fried vegetables (with a subtle taste of prawn paste). They provided additional sauces on the side for you enhancing your food. The vegetable spring is very crispy.

The food is delicious, the service is good, the taste is like eating in Thailand, it looks clean and delicious, the price is appropriate for the quality.

We have eaten here twice now and both times it was delicious! The papaya salad and the Pad Thai noodles are really great. Cozy, cozy place with super friendly staff that is also fast. We will definitely come back more often, to sit there or to take away. Really recommended - definitely visit NK Thai Noodles!

Please stop looking for a place to eat and come here. Enough said. I had beef, well seasoned and cooked. Went along with the fried rice. Delicious! The red curry is to die for. There is one meat that is spicy and has fresh mint in it, please order it. Is out of this world. Fresh, wholesome and healthy.

Vino por este lugar mientras estaba en un viaje de trabajo, el restaurante estaba lleno y tenía un par de personas esperando junto a la puerta para sentarse, lo que siempre es una buena señal. El personal es muy amable y acogedor, y encantado de hacer adaptaciones en el departamento de especias! El pollo kra pao que estaba delicioso y empacó el ponche que había pedido. Esto sabía más a los platos que tuve en una excursión a Tailandia vs otros restaurantes tailandeses o comida para llevar que he experimentado en Europa. El kra pao y una bebida (café) llegó a solo 20 euros, que es una excelente relación calidad-precio. Muy recomendable.

First time at NK Thai Noodles last night and it was a real treat - traditional delish Thai food in a cosy friendly setting with a fun team - we were lucky to get a table, as the queue to get in after us was long and constant - no drinks license yet, but plenty of non-alcohol choice - we will definitely be regular visitors!

Only been here once and I can already tell it's a place I'll be back to many times, if only for the yen ta fo noodles. It's one of only two places I know of that serve this noodle dish here in Amsterdam and it's something you have to experience for yourself because it's not like anything else. One of the most unique noodle dishes from Southeast Asia. I like to make mine extra spicy but they allow you to adjust to your taste with traditional Thai condiments on the side.

If you’re looking for some delicious Thai food in Amsterdam, this is the place. My bf and I came here for lunch and they were quite busy. Service was great. I ordered the massaman curry and bf ordered the Tom yum noodle soup. Both were rich and flavorful and we were satisfied with our meals.

I had a wonderful meal with exceptional service. Every one working there seemed happy to be there. The Pad Thai was delicious with a little spice, but not too much.

The food was really delicious, but the attitude of the waitress left me feeling confused and uncomfortable. My friend and I were on a tight schedule, so after waiting around 30 minutes after placing our order, we politely asked how much longer it might take—just so we could plan our time accordingly. Surprisingly, the waitress responded with, “But you just ordered 5 minutes ago.” This was puzzling and factually incorrect. More importantly, we weren’t complaining or rushing her—we simply wanted a rough estimate for time management. Her reaction felt unnecessarily defensive and a bit mean. As someone who has worked as a part-time server myself, I would never speak to customers in such a way. It really affected what was otherwise a positive dining experience.

It was a beautiful night and amazing hot food for a cold night. Love the spicy food. No parking so just walk or Uber.

The foods were really good, a lot of options. Some of the things on the menu you wouldn’t even see in a restaurant in Thailand. The taste of the foods was immaculate!!! My partner (who’s not thai) enjoyed this a lot.

Best thai restaurant in Amsterdam. Ordered the Pad-Thai and Pad Khi Mao (Thai-level-spicy) which was VERY close to authentic thai. The noodles are perfectly cooked and the flavors are rich and authentic. Pad Khi Mao tasted EXACTLY like Thailand. Very worth it to try.

I recommend this shop to Thai people. I've been tired from walking all day. Order bamboo shoot soup and stir-fried beef with garlic. It's so delicious it makes your tiredness go away. Great authentic Thai food in Amsterdam! The food really hit the spot. Service is great. Got really busy during dinner time so those who came after us had to wait. Tables were not left empty for long after every customer. Atmosphere was nice and not pretentious as how it is supposed to be.

The food was very delicious but the service was terrible. We asked some questions before ordering and the waiter told us she needed to work and left. Then we were rushed to pay the bill and notices some unexpected charges. 1 euro per glass of tap water - it is not marked anywhere in the menu or by the staff. 3 euros for fried egg on my rice, when I didn't ask for it, but the waiter asked me when I asked what is included in the meal.

Nice food but the experience of eating is not happy. She gave us the wrong type of dishes and when we asked her the situation, she gave us a roll eyes!!! That made us mad. although another female waiter asked us and treated us well, I still not happy with the previous waiter. Not even to say we were told to leave because the reservation( we make it in common so it is ok)

Used to love this place and visited multiple times but recently the portion is getting smaller.. a bit disappointed

This is a really authentic Thai food place. I haven't had such beef salad since I was in Thailand. And the tea was so good too. I highly recommend to anyone who wants to taste real Thai food. Be aware though that their spicy levels are also authentic. We had a "6" level of spice, and even as I am used to spicy and enjoy it, it was borderline. So if you're not into spicy food as much, ask for much lower levels.

I haven’t tried authentic Thai in Thailand, so I can’t comment on that. However I’ve eaten in Thai places all over the world and this one is by far the best. I’ve had the tastiest Tom Yam and consistent quality and taste every time I go there!

I've been searching for the best pad thai in NL because we drive 2hrs to go to Cologne just to get to our favorite thai restaurant.. now we found the same level of taste, if not better, in Amsterdam. 🥰

What a great place!! that’s a authentic Thai food that feel me back to Thailand. I ordered an authentic Som Tum Poo Prara and Yen Ta Four were made delicious fresh and really tasty. Staff were attentive very friendly. Papaya salad with crab and fermented fish, the taste is very pleasing to Thai people :)
