Nog eigenwijzer in Sassenheim West

We arrived at 6:15 pm without a reservation, and they had seats. We were shown to the last table in the restaurant. Next to us was half a glass of soda on the table, and a garbage bag had been left there all evening. A young man immediately came for drinks, and he was well-trained: "Do you want some bread?" The waiters in the restaurant are 20 years old. What also really irritated me was looking at the serving hatch, where a young man spent most of his time on his phone. When he did come to the restaurant, he left the door open, with a view of the dishwasher. I usually ask for a table at another table, but I was invited. The food was delicious, but unfortunately, the dessert was dame blanche with no real chocolate sauce and bad whipped cream. The waiters are trying their best, but they probably don't see it better and learn to occasionally look at the table in the far corner. And there was plenty of room in a more cozy area. Too bad.

I had the picanha as a daily special. It was truly delicious! They're considering adding it to the menu permanently. I'll definitely be back. Very friendly staff and a cozy atmosphere.

Last Friday evening we had a table reservation. The atmosphere and ambiance are pleasant, and the staff are all equally professional, knowledgeable, and friendly. Before making our reservation, we visited the website to preview the menu and choose from the options available. With great anticipation of what we had chosen, we received the menu from the waitress, and to our great surprise and disappointment, it turned out to be different from the menu on the website. As a result, we couldn't order what was offered to us on the website. In all honesty, I have to admit that this wasn't the first time. The first time it happened to us, you accept the explanation that there was a misunderstanding, but now that it's happened again, we can only conclude that this wasn't an isolated incident. A more negative review wouldn't be appropriate. Nog Eigen Wijzer is an excellent restaurant with great staff, but the management needs to live up to what they offer customers on their website and pay more attention to it than they currently do. I sincerely hope that the next time the menu on the website will match the menu in the restaurant.

Going for a drink was a disaster. After drinking one beer, waiting for another 20 minutes!!! It doesn't make a good impression on a tourist. Never going there again

Poor hygiene I found it extremely unprofessional how the staff handled ice cubes with their bare, dirty hands. I was there for an hour, and I didn't see anyone wash their hands during that time. Worst of all, they were eating fries and then using the same hands to grab the ice. Unbelievable! This is unacceptable.

We love eating here. They have a great lunch and dinner menu. There's a large terrace in the summer.

Still one of my favorite restaurants!

Sauce with the surf & turf very salty. Maybe look for a less salty alternative... pepper soup with goat cheese was great!

De kok is waarschijnlijk niet op de hoogte wat men verstaat onder medium bakken van een tournedos. Dit is nu al de tweede keer zo waardoor ons etentje erg tegenviel.

Last weekend we had a delicious meal at Nog eigenwijzer. Good food and good service. A menu with many options and also tasty vegetarian options. Different price options and minor adjustments to the dish are also no problem. Furthermore, a nice quiet atmosphere in the restaurant so you can enjoy an evening of dining.

Heerlijke lunch, royale hoeveelheid en zeer aantrekkelijk gepresenteerd. Sfeer is goed, evenals de service. Veel keuze op de kaart. Wij aten de vis-triosalade, carpaccio salade en clubsandwich. Gesmuld van het eten en meer dan gevuld naar huis gegaan. Prijs kwaliteit verhouding is goed. Een plek om terug te komen!

Fantastisch restaurant! Al 3x gegeten bij hun en hun mede restaurant Op Eigen Wijze. Eten is heerlijk, goede kwaliteit, divers en absoluut veel voor je geld! De sfeer in dit pand is echt super gezellig, we hebben er ook met de hele familie met 15man gegeten. Ze hadden een prachtige hoek voor ons gereserveerd zodat wij en andere bezoekers geen last van elkaar zouden krijgen. Helemaal top restaurant en dikke aanrader voor iedereen!

Heerlijk eten, vriendelijke bediening en een sfeervolle ambiance

Kregen crème soep die aan de koude kant was en van 1 kom was een stukje af. De salade was okay maar ook hier waren stukjes van het bord af. Advies: gooi serviesgoed dat stuk is weg en vervang het. Vond het een armoedig effect hebben.

Eten was top, sfeer super, bediening erg goed. Kortom, een aanrader.

Altijd goed daar! Heerlijke lunch, lekkere rosé en super aardige bediening.

Van buiten zag het er al knus uit, toen we naar binnen gingen was het nog veel beter, gezellige sfeer, goede kaart, vriendelijke prijzen en zeer gastvrij en vriendelijke bediening, mocht je er eens in de buurt zijn, zeker naar toe gaan ik weet zeker dat het een aangename ervaring zal zijn.

Lekker gegeten! vriendelijk geholpen door personeel en prima prijzen. parkeren kan wat lastig zijn. Garage van de AH sluit vroeg, hou daar rekening mee, maar dan kan Nog Eigenwijzer niets aan doen

Leuke ambiance. Vriendelijk en leuke bediening. Eten is echt héérlijk! Prijs/kwaliteit prima. Proefplankje als voorgerecht is een aanrader en de zalmfilet als hoofdgerecht ook zeker aanrader. Wij zullen hier zeker nog wel terugkomen.

Goed gegeten hier. Hazenpeper met aardappelpuree en rode kool is een aanrader. Fijne plek. Vriendelijke bediening. Ook goede uitsmijter als lunchgerecht.

Prettige atmosfeer, muziek op de achtergrond. Mooi opgemaakt bord met een meer dan voortreffelijke eendenborst. Genoten!!

Lekker gegeten. Kwaliteit van het eten is wat je mag verwachten voor de prijs. Niet lang hoeven wachten ondanks dat het vol was. Parkeren kan wat lastig zijn. Hou er rekening mee dat de garage van de Albert Heijn s avonds dicht gaat.

Ik had gerookte rib eye op brood. Het leek iets meer op een broodje carpaccio. Evengoed wel lekker. Pittige mayonaise overheerste wel een beetje. Moet je van houden.

Helaas, de soep en de groenten bij het menu waren koud. Ook vergeten, frietjes er bij te geven. Dus moeten vragen, waar die bleven. Waarschijnlijk een puinhoop in de keuken, Heel jammer. Personeel is heel vriendelijk. ( de soep) terug gegeven.

Aardig personeel en zeer behulpzaam

Leuke tent goed eten en prima prijs kwaliteit. Helaas maar 1 rode wijn waar uit je kan kiezen. De andere op de kaart hebben ze niet meer.
