Great menu. The tuna carpaccio I had as a starter was, in a word, excellent. The seafood platter was very flavorful. The best Gin Tonic and carefully selected house wine.

I doubted whether an app could choose a restaurant. The app calculated my calories by scanning a photo of my dessert. The portion with the cherry fit exactly within my daily total and was very tasty. The place is quiet and tidy.

Had a delicious meal, chose the lobster and the mussels. Friendly service and a cozy terrace!

Had a delicious meal! Gambas in lobster sauce truly the best ever! Compliments to the kitchen for consistently delivering top quality! But the service was certainly very good as well; ultimately, they made this evening complete. We will definitely be back!

The oysters were deliciously fresh and the chef's mussels were prepared truly fantastically. Everything was full of flavor and clearly made with care. Additionally, the terrace is a lovely place to eat. Families have also been considered: our baby was greeted warmly and good facilities are available, which made the visit pleasant. In short, highly recommended for anyone who loves fresh fish, Zeeland specialties, and hospitality. We will definitely be back!

Went out for lunch with friends this afternoon. Four people in total. What a wonderful experience. Super tasty smoked eel and salmon as a starter. And then sublimely prepared mussels of very beautiful, large quality. Empty the pot to the bottom, including the soup. This is truly top-notch. Tasty champagne. Tasty Albariño, what more could you ask for? Thanks for the delicious experience.

Highly recommended. Good service, cozy atmosphere, and delicious food. I had the mussel menu. It might not look that appetizing in the photo, but they were super tasty (the photo was also taken when I had already finished a substantial portion of mussels). The fish soup was hearty and the dessert divine. A minor downside might be that you don't get any sauce(s) with the mussels. My wife had the sole fillets with remoulade sauce (also very tasty), and as far as I'm concerned, this sauce added value to the mussels. 😋

Had a delicious lunch; a nice menu with mussels, lobster soup, and lobster as the main course. Everything was flavorful and recognizable on the plate—no mousse, foam, or other nonsense. Many chefs are crazy about their blender, but this chef simply knows how to cook the way it should be done. Dessert ice cream with forest fruits was perfect. Simple and flavorful. Service very friendly and attentive. The price is fine.

What a disappointment. The food was okay (nothing more), but the service was truly substandard. Endless waiting times, inexperienced and nervous staff, numerous disturbing beginner's mistakes... If the manager does not intervene, this establishment will certainly lose its luster.

Went back for lunch this afternoon after many years. What a disappointment. The outside temperature was 11°. There were 3 tables and 6 people who were all complaining that it was cold. But there was no heating, and it wasn't turned on even when we mentioned it. The prices were far too high for the price. It's a shame, because it used to be great and now it's a flop.

We had a super delicious meal. Prices are certainly fair if you order a set menu. 3 fantastically tasty courses. Friendly service. Sitting outside sometimes results in noisy traffic while dining. We will definitely be back here.

First time here for us. The reviews I've read didn't exactly make me feel that way about the food. The food was below average. The price was very high compared to the plas. I had crab claws as a main course for €56, just three claws without much garnish, poor presentation, subpar. The sole was decent, but you can't go wrong with it. This restaurant has a very traditional 80s atmosphere, but it's way overpriced for what it is. You can definitely eat much better in Yerseke for less money, but the service was very good.

I ate here again in September and have to say it's a real step down. I think a different chef has changed the mussels' crème fraîche, which used to be beautiful and large with a delicious, thick sauce, into a watery, tasteless soup. However, the service has remained the same and friendly. I mentioned that the mussels were too watery and expected a new, thicker sauce, as usual. Instead, the sauce was poured out, and I was given the plate of (mini) mussels back. In short, I'll definitely not be returning. Prices have risen dramatically; I would have gladly paid that much if it had been the same as before. It's a shame, it used to be my favorite restaurant.

We arrived 10 minutes before opening time (we didn't know this, so we waited in the lobby, with a reservation). After a friendly interaction on our part, we were asked to stand outside, only to have the door closed behind us against almost 100 dB. No comment on the delicious food, although I do think this "farmer's wife" deserves a shout-out, hence the one star. The rest of the service (even though we had a reason not to stay) was also very much against her wishes.

We had a wonderful lunch at Nolet yesterday. The dishes were somewhat traditional but absolutely fantastic; the fish was the star. Good wines and friendly service completed the experience.

Only two tables occupied for lunch. The four-course menu was excellent. I noticed a lot of shellfish and very few whole fish. You have more choices in the Mediterranean.

We hebben een heerlijke avond gehad en genoten van het dagmenu. Lekkere catalogus met verse garnalen, een goed gevulde vissoep en een perfect gebakken zeebaars. Het diner werd afgesloten met een fantastisch dessert van rode vruchten. Bij het aperitief bestelden we 10 oesters maar die waren wel heel prijzig om in Yerseke te zijn.

Very tasty food and very neat service!

Prima gegeten, maar heel raar dat als je via de website reserveert je foto's te zien krijgt van de Vistro en vervolgens je je naar het Reymerwaele moet begeven. Dit staat nergens (behalve ter plekke op de deur) en wekte verwarring. Heerlijke gegratineerde oesters en prima kreeft en zeetong gegeten, maar voor de prijs mag dit ook! Twee tegenvallers: weinig wijnen per glas. De noga in plastic en het "chocolaatje" bij de koffie horen niet bij een restaurant als dit. Dit mag iets chiquer en met wat meer creativiteit.

Fantastisch lekker gegeten met een 4 gangendiner: heel lekkere oesters, een smakelijke vissoep met veel soorten vis, een mooie halve kreeft en een heerlijk dessert met rode vruchten. Wij waren allebei heel tevreden .

Heerlijk gegeten op het terras, genoeg te zien! Smaakvolle gerechten en top service, klassieke smaken. Heerlijk, Ongedwongen en attend.

Dit is niet ons 1ste bezoek aan het visrestaurant: Liefhebbers van vis en schaaldieren worden hier verwend! Zowel de gegratineerde oesters als de deze met een oosterse touch als de vissoep, de gegrilde kreeft waren ronduit top! Allemaal verse producten op een fijne, ietwat klassieke manier klaargemaakt: wij bevelen dit restaurant zeker aan: doen!

Yerseke lives from the sea. Oyster ponds are located right behind the dike, mussel cutters sail back and forth, and Nolet’s Vistro has been in the heart of the village for years. A narrow staircase takes you to the first floor, where a dining room with dark wooden panelling, brick walls and a built-in aquarium immediately reminds you of fish parlours from the past. The interior is somewhat dated, but at the same time that nostalgia works well here: after all, you are in a village that is proud of its traditions. The lunch menu follows the same familiar path. We kicked off with three house favourites: our own smoked salmon and eel that arrived lukewarm, plus flat Zeeland oysters on ice. More embellishment is unnecessary when the products come so close to the Oosterschelde. This was followed by asparagus with a soft beurre blanc, a full bisque poured at the table, and grilled cod with a mustard sauce that is typical of the region. For the enthusiasts, Zeeland crab claws are also on the menu; they came without a finger bowl, a small omission, but the taste was convincing. Classic desserts – Dame blanche and profiteroles – concluded the meal in the same recognizable register. The wine list is compact, mainly French classics that safely match the salty, smoky and creamy of the cuisine. The prices for fish dishes are on the high side, although that does not feel out of place in Yerseke – where fresh shellfish are the norm. The service is young, friendly and keeps a pleasant pace. Nolet’s Vistro is not a modern fish concept, but it is a fixed value for everyone in Yerseke who wants to eat pure and regional from the sea, with its own smoke oven, a touch of nostalgia and a view of that aquarium in the wall.

Top restaurant! Had a great meal yesterday with the kids. You won't find a better place to eat large fried sole, lobster soup and mussels!

Very nice fish restaurant. Higher price range, but very neat and tasty!

Cozy fish and fruit de mer restaurant. We ordered various menus and dishes with a group of friends. Everything was fresh and very tasty. The wine list is very good. We really liked the Spanish white wine and it paired well with our food. The service is very professional, but a bit impersonal. Because not everyone had a menu, some people had to wait a long time for the main course. This could have been indicated in advance and resolved by asking the guests when they wanted to receive their main course. But all in all we had a very pleasant evening. Compliments to the chef and staff.

Friendly service and tasty honest dishes. When it is busy, such as last May 1 with beautiful weather, you have to be patient (approx. 2h30 in total for the chef's menu), but waiting on the terrace in the shade with a nice glass of drink is quite doable. The lobster was fine, tasty and well cooked. The mussels as a starter are very tasty with finely chopped vegetables and a hint of aniseed. The soup was a kind of bisque with cubes of white fish and a few mussels and shrimps.

De frieten waren beneden peil, precies drie keer gebakken. Voorgerecht mosselen veel te duur voor wat het was. Gegrilde kreeft zwom in de boter, veel te vet. De inrichting van het restaurant was gezellig en mooi.

I had high expectations for Nolet's Vistro, but unfortunately the experience was very disappointing on all fronts. We drove to Yerseke specifically for this restaurant because of the good reviews. To start with, the service was slow and inattentive. We had to wait an inordinately long time to place our order, and the staff seemed disinterested and unfriendly all evening. At no point did we feel like valued guests. As for the food: it was far below par, especially considering the price level (only the main course cost between 40 and 50 euros). For what we got – poor service and mediocre food – the price was absolutely unjustifiable.

Fantastische kaart en heel erg familiaire sfeer! Absoluut een herhaling!! De ‘fruit de mer’ is wat erg zeeuws dus gewoon lekker a la carte bestellen … en natuurlijk de heerlijke zeeuwse oesters!! Daar gaat het om!! Fantastisch !!!

The food was good but the menu is quite limited. Prices are a little above my expectation and the service is good too. But they are very difficult about corkage and bringing your own wine but in the end we managed to negotiate for a reasonable price.

Voor de visliefhebber is het hier goed toeven. De mosselen en kreeft waren heel erg lekker. Helaas is voor het de niet viseter bedroevend gesteld. Een soepje, salade en pasta. En vooral v.w.b. de salade die als hoofdgerecht gegeten wordt. IJsbergsla, komkommer en tomaat. Dat was het!! Jammer dat daar niet iets meer aandacht aan besteedt wordt. Daarom geef ik geen hoge score.

On August 26, we visited the Viestro at half past twelve with a group of six people. It was our friend David's birthday and he came over from London especially for his birthday lunch. Because we didn't know what the weather would be like, we asked if we could have an aperitif outside and then decide whether we would sit outside or inside. No, that wasn't possible; we had to decide immediately whether we wanted to have lunch inside or outside. Our question as to why this was not possible after the aperitif was answered with the comment: "We never do that." Talking about fallacies. Anyway, our 86-year-old had a choice and chose indoors. Too bad, because it was quite chilly inside (not to mention the pungent fish smell and a door that, to everyone's shock, was regularly slammed shut by the draft). Although the staff was aware of David's birthday, they paid no attention to it. Shame. My wife thought the oysters were the least tasty she has ever had. Our party included a slow eater whose plate was cleared before she had finished eating. All in all not a great success. Next time we will go to the Oesterije again.

Mooi restaurant met aangenaam en ruim terras, goed gelegen. De oesters behoorden tot de beste die ik ooit heb gegeten , stevig en vlezig. De mosselen daarentegen waren matig : slechts 1 bereidingswijze en vol met witte stuff (geen idee wat het was). Het dessert, sorbet, was al smeltend. Maar opvallend vooral was de bediening, zeker geen Michelinster waardig . Alle personeelsleden lieten je het gevoel dat je niet welkom was, eerder een last (als we moeten werken, dan moet het maar ). Ik ga niet meer terug, bij De Branding (helaas toe op maandag) is het veel beter

Gewoon een topertje. Prijs/kwaliteit klopt helemaal. Vriendelijke bediening, leuke kaart en een gezellige restaurant. Komen hier zeker terug

In het linker gedeelte van het restaurant op de eerste verdieping gezeten. Mooi rustig en voornaam kader zonder overdreven franjes of stijfheid. Lekker genoten van de overheerlijke topproducten die gebruikt werden : geweldige oesters, lekkere mosselen van de chef als voorgerecht en een mooie tong als hoofdgerecht ( daar had ik liever wat meer botersaus bij gehad) Op aanraden van onze vriend : een topper als nagerecht : rode vruchten met ijs en slagroom.

Als je dan toch mag kiezen waar je uiteten gaat voor je 50e verjaardag, dan staat Nolet ver bovenaan mijn wensenlijstje. Wat een fantastisch restaurant, ontzettend vriendelijke gastvrouw en heerlijk eten! En dit keer buiten kunnen zitten op een perfecte zoneravond. Wij zijn fan en komen zeker weer terug. Bedankt!

We ate here with a group of 12 people. Reserved months in advance. On the day itself we received a phone call that we can only choose from 1 of the 4 menus. Upon arrival, the menus did not appear to differ much from each other. We made a comment about this and politely expressed our disappointment about this 🤨 We also asked for a solution for non-fish eaters (notified in advance!). We then received a lecture from an agitated lady about the agreements she had made with one of us that afternoon and that there would be no deviation from this, with the exception of non-fish eaters. They also had no choice: carpaccio and steak (they were not asked about their preference for rare, medium or well-done). Reasonable food but unimaginatively prepared. We had to wait a long time between courses. Nothing was done about our complaint about this. We ordered some more bottles of wine and got the suspicion that that was exactly the intention: the drinks bill was surprisingly high 😡 Furthermore, we were served by a very nice boy, who tried very hard and couldn't really do anything about it 🤷🏻‍♀️ That made up for something. All in all, we had a very pleasant evening together, but that was not due to the restaurant itself - with the exception of the waiter. Not recommended. We definitely won't go there again.

Komen niet zo vaak in Yerseke maar de keren dat we er zijn gaan we naar Nolet. Vis, schelp- en schaaldieren zoals ze bedoeld zijn. Misschien moeten we toch vaker die kant op.

We visit Vistro one to three times a year and are always satisfied. The prices are of course not without value, but as the saying goes: quality has its price.
