NOSTRO in Wijk 00 Bergen op Zoom-Oude stad en omgeving

We had dinner at Nostro this week. Unfortunately, we were seated by the window, and there was a very strong draft. We had to wear our coats all evening. The pasta carbonara wasn't good; the bacon, in particular, was too hard and inedible. The mushroom pasta only had seven wild mushrooms in it. The staff was very friendly.

I had a fantastic experience at Nostro! They made me an incredibly delicious mocktail, and the food was fantastic. The highlight of the evening was the tiramisu; I haven't had such a good one in a long time! Highly recommended 🍰

The food was delicious. Better than expected, though. The service was certainly good, although there was a mistake in the order. The staff/kitchen resolved this promptly, but it shouldn't have happened. As a result, the dish was somewhat shared and not a festive meal. The food was plentiful, and otherwise, it was well-prepared.

Delicious dishes made with fresh ingredients. The menu isn't extensive, but that's a good thing. Each dish is made with love and care, and you can tell they've put a lot of effort into it. It might take a while, but it's worth it. The prices are reasonable: around 15 euros for a delicious plate of pasta. It's situated on a beautiful square with terraces right in the city center. It's very cozy. The service is more than adequate.

A cozy and excellent Italian restaurant on the charming Beursplein in the historic city center of Bergen op Zoom. A carefully selected menu and an excellent drink selection are available. The service is welcoming, enthusiastic, and highly professional. Affordable prices make this restaurant highly recommended.

We had a wonderful meal, and despite the fact that the crab market was incredibly busy, we received friendly and quick service considering the crowd. The staff worked incredibly hard this afternoon/evening. And the food was excellent.

Average age of the staff that night was 20 years. All standing around chatting at the serving point while we had the table next to it. An Italian who doesn't have carpaccio on the menu and serves black dry pizzas. NEVER AGAIN!

Pizzas undercooked, limited topping, inexperienced service, tables full of unnecessary glassware, no space to place plates, had to ask for them to be removed, expected more.

At Nostro it always feels like coming home to us. Atmosphere is good, staff very friendly and the food is always good. After having eaten here many times on various days and times, we can say that in our opinion you always enjoy sitting and eating here!

Limited choice on the menu, had to ask for drinks several times, waited 30 to 40 minutes for the starter, piece of pizza fell on the floor but did not receive the new piece, different toppings on pizza than was on the menu, forgot to order a dish serving which again had to be asked for and as icing on the cake 2 mints with the bill even though there were 8 of us. Of course you can ask for anything at the time, but some service is also expected after so many questions/points.

Food is okay but not more than that. Number of examples: - pasta 'mushroom madness' had about 7 mushrooms - pasta carbonara had very hard bacon (no pancetta) and a sauce of raw egg and almost no cheese. I think the warm pasta should cook the egg a little - children's pizza was literally half a pizza each, but it cost 17.50 instead of 15 euros for the whole pizza, and then 2x 1.50 extra because of 'separate plates'. We also waited quite a long time even though there were only 3 tables in front of us. We won't go here again. Unfortunately, Italian food can be so simple and so tasty.

Had a delicious meal at Nostro. A cozy restaurant, where you can enjoy superbly prepared dishes. Kudos to the service and chef(s). We will definitely come back here, it is highly recommended.

Had a nice dinner here tonight for my birthday! Staff was friendly, nice place and delicious food. The tiramisu was a little too wet for me, but still tasty.

The cozy Mexican restaurant has been transformed into an unpleasant Italian restaurant. When you enter you stumble over the tables. So you are very close to each other. Personally, I don't like that. We went there for dinner on a warm summer evening. The doors were open, which meant that the flies could not be kept away. Very dirty. The young staff really did their best to help us, but it just wasn't enough. Food was not really tasty. Price was comparable to other restaurants. Not really cheap.

Wanted to make a reservation by telephone, called at 2:00 PM, lady on the phone (later turned out to be our "waitress"), advised to call back later as the agenda was not yet open. Very strange. Food is mediocre. Service very incompetent and rude. Too bad. Discussion about the bill.

Love this place! Food, wine and service is excellent. Really good pizza 🥰

Delicious beautiful dishes in a top ambiance

You can make a reservation via the website and you will receive a telephone number. But record it anyway. The phone is always not answered. Messy if you want to make a reservation. Unfortunately we had to go to another restaurant. Completely done after calling 5 times.

Door de open keuken komt er soms wat rook in het restaurant. Heerlijk gegeten.

Prima gegeten in een prettige omgeving uit de prachtige Italiaanse steenoven.

Het begon met dat het restaurant niet zo sfeervol is als je zou denken van een Italiaan. Hier bij kwam een compacte kaart. Weinig keuze.. eenmaal besteld en aan het eten was het eten niet zo geweldig. Prijs kwaliteit verhouding was slecht. Matig eten voor een “hoge” prijs. Daarbuiten lang moeten wachten totdat we ons hoofdgerecht konden bestellen en tot we konden afrekenen.

Super! Mooie zaak met een ongedwongen sfeer, zeer attente bediening, vriendelijke service en het eten was heerlijk!

Het vroegere wel bekende Mexicaans restaurant van Bergen op Zoom, is volledig op de schop gegaan. Wat hebben ze hier veel werk verricht pm het een moderne uitstraling te geven. Ook even er bij vermelden dat de toiletten super mooi zijn geworden. Wij miste wel de gezellige inrichting, heel industrieel en clean nu. On 1e instantie werd er snel drinken opgenomen en gebracht, samen met de menu kaart. Het duurde daarna wel erg lang, ook nadat we er naar vroegen, voor onze bestelling voor het eten werd opgenomen . De dames en heren hingen een beetje aan de bar, 1 dame werk er hard en hielp ons goed. Ik vond zowel de Ravioli, als de Italiaanse salade erg smaakvol. De ragout met tagliatelle vond mijn partner flauw, nadat hij om parmezaanse kaas gevraagd, was het iets beter. Hij vond het jammer dat hij toch niet voor een pizza gekozen had. Omdat het een zeer beperkte kaart is, geen dessert genomen.

Geen welkom gevoel, sommige meiden van de bediening wel prima. Miste het broodje kruidenboter en de ruime kaart. Pasta met kaas peper saus was okay, maar de peper er zelf aan toe moeten voegen. Hoofdgerechten aan de kleine kant, smaak prima. Desserts kleine pannacotta en miste de doordrenkte lange vingers in de tiramisu, likeur was niet erg aanwezig.

Op het terras van onze favorite pub gedwongen naar lounche muziek luisteren. Dat gaat mij te ver.

Knoflookbrood als voorgerecht. Was best lekker maar niet top. Pizzadeeg met een beetje knoflookolie en parmezaan. Pizza pruscotto was niet slecht, maar wel wat kaal met allen ham erop. Pasta met garnalen en knoflook: garnalen erg lekker!! Pasta beetje saai.....heb lekkerder Pasta Aioli op. Maar wat een afschuwelijke lounge muziek zetten ze buiten aan. Dan richt je jezelf dus op jongeren? Doet afbreuk aan dit mooie oude plein. Wij komen er niet meer. Sfeer is te bepalend door deze muziek
