Salmon sandwich, no taste at all! Do not splash dressing and on a crooked torn plank. Price technically way too expensive for what you get. I've eaten better sandwiches before, but anyone can do this. Open a pack of salmon, place it on some salad without dressing and serve. Far below standard, a pity.

wat hebben we heerlijk gegeten! De carpaccio was voortreffelijk en ook de ribbetjes (die zo van het botje vielen) en de ossenhaas was super. Daarbij nog een super vriendelijke dame die ons bediende. Zeker voor herhaling vatbaar, een dikke 10!

Service was not super fast, but very friendly. In my opinion the music was too loud so you had to talk louder to hear each other, but in my opinion it was nice music. Food was really delicious. We enjoyed it.

What a delicious meal we had at number 8 last night 18-10-24😋🤗🥘🍷🍻🍧 A menu with a delicious range of choices, all too tasty and so difficult to choose. Our choice as a starter was the carpaccio and the shrimps, main course both pan of beef tenderloin and a delicious dessert 🍨. The owners are such nice and spontaneous people who we had a great time chatting with after our dinner. We will certainly come back here more often and certainly recommend it to our circle of acquaintances.

We gingen er eten met een social deal en hebben ons het geen minuut beklaagt. We zouden zeker terugkomen ook als we de normale prijs zouden moeten betalen. Iedereen is heel vriendelijk en de kaart heeft voor elk wat wils. Zowel vlees, vis en vegetarisch. De porties zijn zeker voldoende en mooi gepresenteerd. De smaken zitten goed alleen misschien meer kruiden op de ribbetjes. Ook de kwaliteit van de producten is zeker ook in orde. We zaten op het terras en daar was het heerlijk vertoeven maar ook binnen zag het er wel knus uit. Kortom lekker gegeten tegen een mooie prijs. Wij komen zeker terug!

On the way to our holiday address in Cadzand-Bad we enjoyed a 2-course dinner here. We received a very friendly welcome in a very cozy restaurant, nice and informal. The food was delicious with generous portions, both main course and dessert. We highly recommend this restaurant.

Today we ate a delicious tenderloin in a pan and finished off with blanching a lady and crème brulé. Lovely quiet table outside on the terrace. Dogs were also welcome. Great service and a good explanation of how the dish was prepared. If we are in the area again we will come again and I will definitely recommend you.

Always deliberating about an unplanned break on a square with lots of choice. In retrospect, the choice was excellent. A tasty iced tea with real leaves in a super handy jug. The carrot cake was also nice and tender. This tastes like more.

Enjoyed a special BBQ evening tonight! Tasty, beautifully cooked meat dishes with fries and sauces. Delicious homemade cocktails in advance and delicious ice cream sundaes for dessert. We have regularly visited the terrace during the day, especially for the special types of iced tea. And the pleasant atmosphere that we experienced outside can also be found inside. Friendly service in a relaxed, friendly atmosphere. Highly recommended!

Had dinner here last night, it was very tasty and the price was good. Number 8 is more than just sandwiches, you can also enjoy a delicious meal here in the evening.

Yesterday evening we had a very nice meal in Number 8. We were away for a weekend in Zeeland and before a “special” cinema visit in Oostburg we first had dinner in this beautiful and well-kept restaurant. Price quality TOP RECOMMENDED for a nice meal in the evening.

Had a lovely meal here with friends this evening. The staff is always super nice and helpful. If you want to eat and drink deliciously, then you have definitely come to the right place. I recommend number 8 to everyone.

A really great and lovingly furnished restaurant/café/snack bar. We wanted to have lunch, unfortunately at the end of August there was an outdated "summer menu" on the table from which we couldn't order. Then we discovered that the main courses from the normal menu could not be ordered at lunchtime. But the service was very friendly and so we ordered a kind of “pizza panini”. The taste was okay, but nothing special. In our opinion, the price of 10.50 euros per panini was incorrect in this context. I then communicated this politely - because this is the only way something can be changed about the offer. Unfortunately, the waiter then reacted very reservedly and immediately left the table. There was no trace of the previous friendliness.

Wir waren im Sommerurlaub drei mal hier, zum Mittagessen und Kaffee, und es hat uns immer sehr gut gefallen. Nummer 8 bietet indoor ein schönes Ambiente mit ausgefallenen Dingen aus Zeeland und aller Welt. Outdoor sitzt man bei schönem Wetter ebenfalls sehr angenehm mit Blick auf Skulpturen, Fußgänger- und Radfahrwege im Zentrum Oostburgs. Das Essen war attraktiv präsentiert, u.a. mit Smiley, und schmeckte lecker. Brote, Sandwiches, aber auch warme Speisen: Sehr empfehlenswert! Das Personal sehr freundlich. Wir kommen gerne mal wieder.

Eerste keer bij Nummer 8 en zeer goed bevallen, vriendelijk personeel, vlotte bediening, lekker buiten gezeten, binnen ziet het er ook gezellig uit. Zeker een aanrader.

Broodjes bestellen en laten leveren gaat zo simpel. De beste belegde broodjes van Oostburg en omstreken. Ook de huisgemaakte salades zijn om je vingers af te likken, zo lekker 👍

Goede plaats om te lunchen. We hadden een shared lunch nr 1 besteld, 3 kleine broodjes en een tas soep per persoon. De portie was wat klein voor de prijs van 13€pp. De kwaliteit en smaak was wel zeer goed. De huisgemaakte icetea is een aanrader.

I was happy coming back to the café. The food is delicious and the staff is really friendly. We enjoyed our breakfast sitting outside next to the water feature. The café itself has a really nice and cosy interior. Hope to be back soon.
