Great company outing at Café Old Cave! For our company outing we chose Café Old Cave, and it was a fantastic experience! The atmosphere in the café is very cozy and authentic, and the location is beautiful! The bar staff was incredibly friendly, professional and helpful! The drinks were perfectly prepared and there was a wide selection! Contact for the reservation was clear and all agreements were met! Old Cave is highly recommended. We will definitely come back!

Faded glory. Had a party last week, what a mockery. For a tent where the prices don't lie, it's really scandalous! A bartender who was not enjoyable and sat drunk in a smokehouse at the end of the evening. In response, people floating around the internet said that there were only 'hostesses'... well, there was 1 lady and she was running wild. Sad for the people who held the party and had to endure all the criticism about it during the evening. The disc jockey made up for a lot, what a great guy he was. But as a catering man, my heart cries about how the party was organized by these two top guys. I saw that other guests also shared their feedback. Rightly so, I am not a resident of Nijmegen, but based on this party I will certainly not recommend the location. In my area in the Randstad, it is one time to present yourself like this and you can close the doors.

unfortunately the bartender was also quite drunk no more old cave for us certainly not if others are told that there were hostesses, so there was a very grumpy bartender and 1 lady you say it was busy while you've known for months that this party was coming and this guy was really there all evening with a lady and no one else (so not for a while)

DJ’d here recently, left my charger and universal plug - tried to retrieve whilst I was still in the country and the guy didn’t care at all. Since then, I’ve been emailing trying to get it back but no response. Shame - women on shift were v nice and food was standard Dutch fried anything.

Visited "Smells like 80's" for the 1st time on Saturday. Reception, cloakroom, music and staff excellent, attentive and friendly. However, far too little audience. So for us (personal opinion!) the party quickly petered out, we felt like outsiders and most of them seemed to already know each other. Maybe advertise more next time and ensure a higher turnout? Oh yes, the WiFi registration is super bad! Questions are also asked that are no longer allowed under the GDPR

We held our wedding party in the old cave and everyone enjoyed it immensely. Got a lot of compliments from everyone! It was a great party.. Everyone had a great time dancing and drinking. Good communication and very nice staff and everything was very well organised! Thanks frenk and cindy and the rest of the staff!

Very nice location, close to parking garage, 2 minutes walk. Friendly staff. The sound is not top quality, a bit crackly and loud. I found the heat and the smoke smell to be a disadvantage. There is a separate smoking area, but not everyone uses it

Looking for a unique sixteenth century event location in Nijmegen? Then the Old Cave is an absolute must! Spacious, air-conditioned rooms, excellent dance floors and good disco lighting. The staff is very friendly and thinks along with the organizers. Wide choice of (non) alcoholic drinks.

During the summer parties '22 made the mistake of leaving 'Antelope' in the Old Cave to go to the flower bar. We were misled by friends, sorry.

Our wedding party was held here the day before, agreed to decorate the party room, the owner had to leave at 3 pm. In addition, we paid for 50 people, but due to corona, 30 people were allowed to attend. After the wedding, I sent numerous emails for the settlement and have not heard anything to this day We also had telephone contact, the owner said that bankruptcy had been filed and if they continued to operate, we would receive a message to this day, they are still continuing to operate and we have heard nothing more, so from us it is a worthless company. Only the staff on that evening were good and friendly But otherwise bad and we don't recommend it to anyone

Cozy location, formerly a disco, now available for rent for parties.

The setting is good, but there is a separate room where smoking is allowed and the air comes into the room. Shame. Let people smoke outside. Now this makes it a bad evening.

Had an incredibly fun party here on November 6. What a nice owner, nice staff, and a beautiful location. We had a really nice party. Still enjoying it, it's definitely worth repeating. We give Old cave 10 out of 10 ♥️

Unique atmosphere, unfortunately not accessible for people with mobility problems.

I had my wedding party at Old Cave. What good service! From the first meeting months in advance to the party evening itself, everything was well organised. The staff was willing to help all the time (including in the run-up to the party) and I was always able to ask questions. A beautiful location for a fully catered party. Everything is possible in terms of food/drink and music. This means they take all your worries off your hands. All very nice. Old Cave is highly recommended!
