Great neighborhood spot. Fantastic owner, nic bartender and the best Guinness in The Netherlands.

After five (?) years the kitchen has reopened and we can enjoy shepperds pie, hamburgers and bitterballs (and other foods) again!

No food,.but terrific atmosphere. You can bring in your own outside food and Adrian doesn't mind. Live music, lovely and terrific afternoon

This was our second time in Utrecht so as Irish people, naturally we wanted to see the Irish pubs around! We were not dissapointed in O’Leary’s. It’s a great Irish pub, not too far from central Utrecht. The Guinness is excellent which is rare outside of Ireland. The owner (who left Ireland 43 years ago) served us as still has a Dublin accent! He was lovely and very friendly. Would recommend - lots of local Dutch people drinking there too which I think is a good sign.

I'm confident to say this is the best place for a beer in the whole country!

On a weekday evening, one of my friends and I were looking for an Irish café in Utrecht. That's how we ended up at O'Learys which (when we came in) was actually about to wrap up and close for the evening. Fortunately, the owner was very friendly and hospitable to let us in for two rounds! Very cozy cafe with a wide choice of Irish beers. A nice big pint of Guinness went in well. For the next visit we will try the other beers because as the owner told us and recommended this, it must certainly be worth it! Cozy, recommended (traditional) Irish cafe. Enjoyed a delicious Guinness again

Wonderful place. Very atmospheric. Unfortunately, you can't eat there temporarily due to a shortage of staff. You are allowed to order, so that is not a very big problem. Nice atmosphere and the staff is very friendly.

nice relaxed place where everyone is welcome. "No strangers here, just friends you have yet to meet" is written on the door for good reason. Food is excellent and very well priced.

No food, but I like going there for a pint. Nice staff, chill vibe, amd they will even show Arsenal games for me.

In my top 3 of the best Irish pubs in the Netherlands.

A really great authentic pub of which very few exist. The atmosphere is really good with people from all kinds of international backgrounds. And that's great for a neighborhood pub. The owner is a true second-generation Irishman and a former rugby player who keeps the character of his pub intact. I regularly come for a few beers after the late shift and after a conversation with the bartender Joris you imagine yourself in "cheers" where people know who you are. This bup is highly recommended for those who appreciate a good conversation in addition to a good beer. And....they also have Maximus Pandora on tap.

Legitimate Irish pub - owner/manager is a gent, and they show all the matches a fella’d care about. Only Irish pub worth visiting in Utrecht, v sad they support Dublin but sure look.

Real Irish pub a bit off the beaten track. Used to have a kitchen, but not since Corona, unfortunately.

Best music in town, session every first and third Tuesday of the month

2 tuesdays a month they have a group of people playing traditional irish music. its simply great vibes :) perfect for some happy times after a long workday.

Gezellige kroeg, ik moet hem niet teveel ophemelen anders wordt het er te druk 😉 ze hebben prima wijn, maar bier is aan te raden. Zowel van de tap als op fles. Mn man zweert bij hun Guiness van de tap. Veel vaste klanten, houden veel van rugby maar je kunt over vanalles kletsen. Een aanrader, maar niet iedereen allemaal tegelijk graag

Best Irish pub in Utrecht hands down, friendly staff and owner. Recommended pit stop for all people visiting me in the Netherlands. Specially enjoyable during the sports season, specially Rugby. Amazing party also in Halloween, a testament to the owners ability to create a tiny pice of ireland here in the middle of Utrecht. Super close to the city centre and walking distance from the Central station. I really recommenf you to go any time you are in Utrecht for a drink.

Altijd gezellig ! Super fijn dat er ook dit soort fijne cafés zijn buiten het oude centrum. Vriendelijke barman en heerlijke Guinness :)

Very friendy owner and delicious beers. It's possible to watch sports ofcourse. No bar food sadly.

I never expected to find a rugby bar in Utrecht and yet found one of the best in Europe. Great chat from the owner and a friendly crowd; also an excellent pint of Guinness (it didn't go unnoticed that I got the first pint of the day and he cleared the line before serving me, fantastic). Stayed far too long but had a great experience, highly recommend.

Great place, beautiful Guinness

Leukste pub van Utrecht! Fijne sfeer en je kunt er ook nog eens lekker eten voor zeer schappelijke prijzen, onder het genot van een Guinness, cider of alles wat je in een Ierse pub mag verwachten. Erg vriendelijk personeel en altijd goede muziek. Al jarenlang vaste stek met vrienden om hier wat te drinken. Die kan ik bovendien ook goed verstaan omdat de muziek hier altijd op een normaal en prettig volume staat.

Nice place but wouldn't come back soon. Brought in a group of 40+ people but pub wouldn't offer even 1 single complementary drink for organizers. Disappointing. Venue placed on long term list.

Heerlijk koffie gedronken, buiten veel ruimte achter aan het water in de zon - met veel futen en twee zwanen. Ook appeltaart, met spijs - interessante vondst, lekker wel. Onverwacht stil op die plek tussen de snelwegen. Gratis drie uur parkeren. Heel gemakkelijk bereikbaar vanaf weg naar Bilthoven. Anders TomTom gebruiken.

One of the few places with a genuine pub vibe in Utrecht. Great food with generous portions for the price. The chicken pot pie and steak pie were great! Steak was cooked perfectly medium rare. Chips were hot and crispy. Nice place to come for an evening beer/cider with some friends. It was a bit warm inside and while we arrived at 6ish, only limited stuff were available on the menu. Not sure if this happens often but luckily we were all well fed by the end of the night.

Fantastic and authentic Irish pub! You can watch sports in a big screen and eat delicious food! The shepherd's pie is to die for!
