Amazing meal, as a person who keeps searching for authentic Syrian food in Europe, this place is easily on my top 3. We ordered Mixed Grill, and smoked rice, 10/10 The chef is so kind as well and came later to check if everything is fine.

In our case today, the view is wonderful compared to the taste of the food. I'll start with the name on the sheet: The sheet is a dome of a circle whose diameter is three-quarters of the diameter of the perfect circle from which it was taken. It is concave and has a fire underneath it, and the hilly side is on the top on which the dough is placed and baked with heat that comes from the bottom only (this is what gives two layers of bread, one crispy and the other plump and soft, absorbing the liquids and adding a wonderful flavour). The name indicates that the bread used was baked on a sheet pan, which is not true. The bread for the falafel sandwich is most likely a tortilla, and the pastries are placed in the oven. From the first moment, there is good treatment and a huge smile. (This is a criticism of the work, not the people.) **Thank you for the nice service. ** We start with the dough. The dough is not good, and I have advice for the oven (pay attention to the heat). Categories: 1- Thyme has insufficient saltiness and the oil used is not good. It causes heartburn, which I think is bad. 2- Muhammara is a red sauce for cooking, not Muhammara used for pastries. It is not successful. 3- Cheese is one type that is placed on its own, and the one that is placed with thyme, with muhammara, and with sausage is another type, and this is the mistake. The taste becomes complex and not delicious. It should have a watery consistency. I was talking about cheesecake before putting it in the oven, but that was not possible because the cheese used is solid and not liquid. 4- Muhammara and Kashkaval Muhammara, as I mentioned, is a cooking sauce. I think that the employer and the workers do not know how muhammara is made. This is my belief, and the cheese used is good, but the taste of muhammara made the muhammara and kashkawan manoucheh worse than its other types. 5- Spinach. The seasoning is good, but the dough again creates a gap in order to complete the taste. The dough does not absorb liquids such as water, oil, or fat, and this in itself is evidence that the person in charge or the applicant has good taste. In order, I was not able to download the pictures for a technical reason (he has good taste in appearance, but the taste does not match the appearance). 7- Sausage, and here the catastrophe drops all excuses and justifications: it is salty in a bitter way, and when it cools, it has an unpleasant odor that does not resemble food. I saw spices on the sausage pie before putting it in the oven, and this is incomprehensible. The worker did not know the meaning of sausage. Sometimes the dough is acceptable, but with sausage it is strange, sweet in taste, and dry like paper. The dough should be the golden plate for the ingredient you carry and give you what you lack in taste when you are missing something from the ingredient. It is exactly a function and not a basis, but a very important supplement that seeks to be a basis. 8- Falafel sandwich: The bread is a thin and sharp tortilla, and it must be thick and spongy in order to absorb a little of the sauce, as is the case in a pie or manousheh. The ingredients are many and the taste of the falafel is lost, and the number of tablets is insufficient, as he puts only four or five tablets and without any question about what you like or dislike or whether there is more than one ingredient. In the end, I visited the place once and paid approximately 90 € for what I ordered to try everything and here is the food experience.

Delicious, authentic, fresh (made right in front of you) syrian food. From the falafel, to the saj, manakish, pizza, or shawarma (doner) and even the vegetable/pickle garnish everything tastes like you ordered it straight out of a Damascus bakery or cafe. They also have extremely friendly, kind staff who treat you like they've known you years even if it's your first visit. Cannot recommend this place enough!

Tasty, normally priced falafel during the lunch break. Luckily I was just in time to beat the really long queue. The service is friendly. Unfortunately, due to the limited space, it doesn't happen very quickly

One of the best place in Utrecht to get a hummus, very good Tabbouleh salad, also the wrap shaorma or the shaorma dish has est european influences. Liked it and I will order again next time!

Looks nice from the outside, but rather dingy inside. Food was prepared by someone who wore one glove but touched everything with his other hand. A delivery person also came in and started cutting salad without washing his hands. Furthermore, the menu is quite unclear, you really have to know what you want and what it all is.

Op saj one of the tasty Syrian restaurants , the Amazing falafel and Labneh here is different. They have small hall any way it's perfect choice withr the delicious menu and the professional chef's they had .. i think they are one of the best eastern restaurants in Netherlands, and of cours its for the vegan people the perfect option.

Hello, it doesn't deserve a star, the prices are very expensive, the food tastes bad, I will never visit this restaurant again.

Tasty affordable fastfood We ordered three Saj and they were all tasty. The falafel with eggplant salad, mint and lemon is delicious. The crispy chicken with garlic sauce is very distinguishable and delicious. The shawarma chicken with pomegranate sweet sour sauce was full of flavor. Highly recommended.

First ordered here online and the food arrived quickly. I noticed that I didn’t receive what I ordered and called the restaurant who offered to deliver the correct one or that I could come by the restaurant some other day and get the right dish, which is a really friendly gesture. The food is made fresh and tastes amazing. I can highly recommend the Shawarma Mushroom dish. Portions are really good sizes as well.

This place will be my new go to comfort food delivery. The food is amazing! I didn’t even have time to take photos of the food, it was that good. The portion is huuuuuge! Even tiny details like putting pieces of thin flatbread underneath the fries to keep it from getting soggy let’s you know how professional this restaurant is. Thank you so much for good food!

15 min waiting for a doner wrap is too much. Though they said it would be ready in 10 minutes. It was small and dry.

Lekkerste falafel in Utrecht binnenstad! Grote portie en betaalbaar.

Fantastisch Syrisch eten. Voornamelijk vegetarisch, maar ook een gerecht met kip of gehakt te verkrijgen. Zeer vriendelijke mensen. Het is een klein zaakje dat je misschien snel voorbij zou lopen. Je komt er niet voor de mooie inrichting en ambiance, maar voor de kwaliteitsgerechten en de vriendelijkheid. Een aanrader!

Heerlijke falafel en alles super vers!

We hadden samen een kip en een vega variant. Echt een heerlijk falafel wrap. Heerlijke kruiden en alles vers gemaakt. We vonden de veganistische iets lekkerder. Eigenaar was heel vriendelijk en gastvrij. Aanrader als je in Utrecht niet naar de Mac Donald wilt maar toch snelle lekkere hap.

Lekker crispy chickenroll gegeten. Was super lekker. Tentje zelf heeft weinig uitstraling. Je kan er zitten maar voor mij persoonlijk meer voor on the go.

Excellent falafels and other flatbread wraps. They make it in front of you in the window. Only a few tables to sit at so basically takeout.

Delicious zaatar manakeesh. Delicious spinach manakeesh. Comes with a side dish of salad and pickles. Ask for the special sauce, it is really good. Looks like aceto balsamico, but is not.

Authentic middle-eastern falafel made by Syrians working their culinary magic. Seldomly do I run into falafel sandwiches this good. Definitely worth the walk and already planning my second visit!
