The best gyros we've ever eaten! The meat and pita bread are incredible, the quality and quantity are top-notch. The place is small and has only a few tables, but since it's downtown, you can eat gyros in one of the nearby plazas. Highly recommended!

Amazing gyros. We had fries with tzatziki and gyros and it was absolutely amazing. Very big portions, very nice taste, very good prices. Were amazed and will come back if we have a chance.

I have been coming here for over 30 years, (in the 90s often at night) and I have never given a review until now. Last week I had to be in the city center and thought I would get a nice big (pita) gyros, and it was as usual incredibly tasty, fresh pita with enough tasty tender and well seasoned meat! REALLY DELICIOUS!! As far as I know there is no better place than this one in the Utrecht area. REALLY RECOMMENDED AND STILL A TOP BUSINESS!!👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼

It is an exciting thought that comes over me and I think I see it reflected in the faces of the guests who have placed themselves around me. El Greco. Or as they say in Flanders in such a beautifully soft, singsong way: The Greek. As simple as the name of the establishment, as complex is the combination of smells, flavors and texture. An almost perfect, but at least sublime balance in the range of food on offer. The Oracle of Delphi will not have to be consulted to consider a possible dinner here. I just heard from my cousin that they have super tasty sandwiches and he lives nearby.

The best pita Giros I know for more than 20 years. Beautiful meat, well seasoned, cooked just right, the right bun, a little white cabbage and top tzatziki sauce. The very best Greek meat available! Whenever I come there, the staff is cheerful, friendly and professional. This means that many customers like to come back and you notice that. Even when it is busy (the store is packed and there is a long line of people waiting outside), everyone is served without any fuss. Nice and cozy atmosphere! While I was driving there, I ordered a large pita giro and a can of soft drink (7.50 + 2.50) and wanted to take it with me. Packaging was professional, everything was well packed and neat (you sometimes see this differently with other items). I was given a napkin and a fork (thoughtful of the employee because I might have wanted to eat it in the car). Can was ice cold (compliments!). Fortunately, I was able to park right in front of the door again (indicators on) and for me this is certainly worth repeating. Top business. See you soon!

Delicious food, after reading about El Greco on the internet. If you are in Utrecht it is definitely worth a visit.

Remains consistent Greek divinity. Every time I am amazed by the delicious gyros and the rest, everything included, is as it should be. That's why it's always such a perfect plate of gyros for us.

Their meat, if you order it separately, it is better to order a bowl of tsatsiki with it because it is very dry and not that tasty. I think it is important that your meat basically tastes good, otherwise you can keep busy stuffing the sandwich, which will completely cover up the taste of your gyros.

Tastiest, tender Gyros and Tzaziki! We have been coming to this Greek Snack Bar for 17 years, my husband for much longer and it remains delicious and you get a lot of value for your money! We come from Zoetermeer to Utrecht to eat Gyros from El Greco, nowhere else.

Probably the worst Gyros Pita I've had so far. The gyros are dry and have little to no seasoning. In general the taste is very bland. The tzatziki didn't taste good. Less creamy. There's far too little coleslaw on the pita. I cannot recommend eating here.

Greco is a gecko. Wonderful to drink after singing. Not crazy, but tasty. Service medium fast. Nice woman. Tomato looks a bit crazy. Shaslick in foil makes the aioli. Halfway through for staff, I don't really care. Crispy lettuce in a yellow pot, what a delight.
