Had an incredibly delicious Italian meal!! Very beautiful, high-quality Italian products, delicious and unique drinks, and extremely friendly service. The atmosphere is cozy and inviting, and the view is, of course, top-notch, right on the Vecht. Found a new favorite restaurant!!

What a lovely place, instant holiday feeling even in the middle of the work week. Sweet, friendly service, beautiful Jardin du Luxembourg chairs, a foot in the water, and simple but tasty food all for under 100 euros – where else can you find that? During the eclipse, it was announced with *Total Eclipse of the Heart*, and yesterday Dolly Parton was playing; small, beautiful gestures, slow living, lovely.

Scanning a QR code to order remains somewhat impersonal, but the service is (probably thanks to this method) quick and fine. The staff is very friendly and professional. It is not the first time I have dined there, and certainly not the last. The food is of very high quality, the prices are very reasonable, and the location is excellent.

This is a uniquely beautiful place where, alongside delicious food, a wonderful atmosphere prevails, and staff and guests are treated with kindness; the owners demonstrate that improving the world starts with yourself, and I love coming here!

We had a nice time sitting and eating, but unfortunately no table had been reserved for us. We couldn't sit by the water until around dessert time; you don't make reservations for nothing, it seems to me!

Very nice place, had a delicious meal. A bit on the pricey side though. The portions of the bar snacks are a bit small. I think a cocktail for €10.50 is quite a lot of money. Pizzas were delicious with a crispy crust. It was also very nice to see all the children playing around. The view and atmosphere make up for a lot. We will definitely be back.

The food (3 different pizzas) was delicious. Blond beer on tap too! Location is great.

Despite the beautiful location, we found the visit very disappointing. It started with picking out a spot... all iron or hardwood tables and chairs, without cushions. It doesn't invite you to sit there for long and comfortably. The decking has loose planks, causing our chairs to constantly vibrate and lift up whenever wait staff walked past. Then the ordering: via QR code. Very impersonal, and paying for every drink/order immediately. Drinks and food arrived quickly, but the boy who served us put everything on the table without saying hello, didn't even ask who had ordered what, so it was placed down haphazardly. No "enjoy your meal," nothing. Unfortunately, our vitello tonnato sandwiches were tasteless; there were a lot of sinews in the lean quality veal fricandeau, and not all the ingredients listed on the menu were on the sandwich. When I asked about this, I was stared at blankly. "Oh," was the only thing that came out. So I just 'drawn out' for that young man that it would be smart to walk over to the kitchen with our plates right now and ask them to top them according to the menu. He thought that was a good idea... We did too, given the steep prices. With rock-hard bottoms from sitting on the chairs, we left quickly. We made a quick trip to the toilet, via an indoor dining area, where dirty, wet tea towels were lying drying over all the tables and chairs. I think there were about thirty of them (see photo). Not exactly appetizing. All in all, they won't be seeing us back here again.

Lovely place to 'drop down' to if you live in the city! Casual, relaxed, and affordable. Highly recommended!

What I find annoying is ordering everything via QR code and paying per visit. Also, the annoying thing about having to pay the tip in advance without knowing what the service is like, but that is normal these days. Furthermore, at the beginning you see a sign saying dogs must be kept on a leash, and then you see all kinds of dogs running loose (they looked like acquaintances of someone known to the restaurant, and the employee didn't actually know the rules either).

We came back again today (5/8). Ordering via the QR code is super convenient, and the food was just as fantastic as last time, even better! Unfortunately, we missed out on the hospitality of the guy who serves us last time—I see he's doing great work all around! Drinks arrived very quickly after ordering. We will come back ❤️

Interesting restaurant right by the water with a nice atmosphere. I really liked the modern way of ordering – at the table you just need to scan the QR code, choose food and drinks, pay for the order online and the waiter will bring everything directly to your table. The whole process is fast, easy and convenient. The waiter is nice, helpful and smiling, which makes the visit even more pleasant. If you are looking for a nice place by the water with good service and a modern ordering system, I definitely recommend this restaurant.

Not actually that satisfied. Upon arrival, we ordered via QR code (which is normal these days), but we had to pay after every step rather than at the end as a total, which I personally find terrible and suggests a lack of trust. We thought the pizzas were very bad; cheap cheese that was already solid before you even started eating, and the pizza simply had no taste. I didn't finish it (even the oregano on the Margherita was missing). The surroundings are super beautiful, and we were very pleased with that. My advice would be to come for the atmosphere and a drink, but not for the pizzas. The staff was young, but otherwise there was nothing to complain about, although I found the gentleman with long gray hair very unfriendly.

A truly beautiful spot by the water. However, the staff is very young and somewhat passive. Upon arrival, I was waiting at the designated spot where you are assisted at a table, but several employees walked past without saying anything. Additionally, there were uncleared dishes on many tables, and it was difficult to make contact with the wait staff (ordering is done via QR code). The food was served before the drinks. The food was fine, but certainly nothing special for the price.

I thought the food was meh (pizza tartufo, for example, comes with a huge dollop of white goo on the pizza). None of it was that great. But what I like most is that the prices are quite high, yet the decor is very camping-like. The furniture is super cheap (which makes the chairs terrible to sit on, for example) and everything looks very cheap. Strange that the prices are so high if that investment isn't being made? It's not my taste. Otherwise, the service was nice!

Pleasant place next to a canal. Very good option for a sunny day. We didn’t have a reservation in a full day and staff still allocated us next to the water at a nice table. Drinks were served fast. You can place orders with a QR code. Toilets were clean. I would recommend.

It is one of the nicest places in the region. Delicious food and drinks. And the fact that it is a bit on the pricey side—depending on nice weather and therefore not always that many people—is fine. The quality and friendliness always make up for that. But 8.50 for a mini ice cream today is really a lot.

Here you really get away from all the modern hustle and bustle. Relaxed atmosphere and really good quality food. I enjoyed it!

Eating and drinking while the rain taps on the greenhouse, by the Vecht river with a view and ducks. That is how I would describe our experience here. And the food and drinks are very good. We enjoyed the extensive menu. The atmosphere was created by a birthday party and the ambiance. Service could be a bit better, a sense of timing, etc. It might also be due to the age of the staff. Highly recommended!

Beautifully located, friendly service, and delicious food. Unfortunately, there was a slight mishap with the booking, which caused a delay, but it was well worth the wait. We haven't had such delicious pizza in a long time, and the atmosphere is stunning. We'll definitely be back!

Fantastic, the food and drink scene in this area doesn't get much better than this. It's in a league of its own.

Bought a food trailer and immediately encountered problems. Instead of offering any assistance or taking responsibility, they pointed the finger at the supplier. We contacted them several times, but no solution was found. Ultimately, we were left with the damage. Poor communication and absolutely no aftercare—a clear example of mismanagement. It's a shame it had to get to this point.

Nice, trendy place. The staff is very young and inexperienced. The timing of the service was remarkable. Our group of seven was served in three stages, 10 minutes apart, which made it impossible to enjoy a meal together, which is the essence of eating together. Could use some improvement!

We had a delicious meal, and we'd sent an email beforehand asking if we could stay overnight with our boat. The email said it was fine, but in the morning, a very unfriendly man came by, introduced himself as the owner of the dock, and told us we weren't allowed to moor there in a rather nasty tone. I've noticed that people on the Vecht are unfriendly to boaters. We'll be staying in Friesland from now on, and we'll have to give up on that crappy mentality here!

What a fantastic place! We had a reservation. We arrived, and the reservation was nowhere to be found. Then the whole QR code thing. It was fine the first time, but we had to re-order and pay for it every time. So impersonal. Rock-hard chairs. The sourdough bread wasn't warm, and the pizzas were absolutely unbearable. We reported it, and they gave us new ones, but our other guests had already finished their food. The service... they did their job. We skipped dessert and coffee. Such a shame, such a beautiful place. We'll never go back. The only things worth it are the view and the location.

We ate here twice in two days (lunch and dinner), and both ate the same thing! (The delicious vegetable salad with buffalo mozzarella, pasta filled with porcini mushrooms, and the pesto pizza 😍). A lovely and cozy spot by the water! There's plenty of room, both in the shade and in the sun, the food is delicious (also plenty of really tasty vegan and vegan options), and the service is very friendly! We will definitely be back! Great place for a stop over while on the canals with your boat or cycling across the countryside this camping site restaurant and bar has plenty of seating options inside and outside with a playground for the kids and a good variety of Italien inspired food options to choose from. The service was friendly and attentive, well worth the visit.

Such a fantastic place! Delicious food, beautiful views, lovely surroundings, friendly staff, and very child-friendly. So glad we only live five minutes away; we'll definitely be back every week.

A beautiful, idyllic spot by the water. Their outdoor terrace is a wonderful place to relax in the summer. The pizzas have a crispy crust and are delicious. For dessert, we had a delicious raspberry tiramisu with limoncello and a sundae with vanilla ice cream, pistachios, and caramel sauce. We'll definitely be back!

What an unfriendly owner/host, behaves like a teacher towards guests. That we just had to look at the signs to see where we should sit? And that QR code system. Nice and easy but very impersonal. Service? They should take some training for that. We won't be coming back.

Nice location connected to the campsite. Chairs and tables are a bit simple but that also fits the restaurant. The Rony's blond beer was really delicious definitely recommended. The pizza was a bit stingy topped for a pizza of €16 euros. The base was very thin which makes it nice and crispy but at the same time it is therefore a bit less nutritious. I cannot judge the service, you have to order via a QR code, I always find this a bit impersonal. The advantage is that you pay immediately so when you are done you can get up and leave.

A gem in a very nice spot on the Vecht

We joined our weekly dinner at Op t island in Nederhorst. The restaurant is located on the Vecht in a kind of glass greenhouse where you can enjoy the beautiful surroundings and the delicious food in the sun and out of the wind. It takes some searching, especially by car. The restaurant is located on the grounds of the holiday park "De Vechtoever". We chose a pasta with vongola and one with funghi and were delighted by the beautiful and tasty dishes. We finished with a delicious fresh tiramisu with raspberries and a good espresso. What a lovely staff, what a beautiful location and above all: what delicious food with a focus on real and honest flavors from good ingredients! Highly recommended! p.s. So you can walk, cycle, sail or car to this restaurant.

Too bad you can only give 5 stars for atmosphere. Op 't Eiland stands out above everything in terms of atmosphere. What a great place!

We were outside, in a large heated veranda. The atmosphere was very nice, and the boy too. We ate very well. Between pasta with shells that were simply sublime (according to my wife), and succulent pizzas, everything was good. go there without fear, plus the place is super quiet.

Amazing place, wonderful atmosphere, one of the best pizza in the Netherlands

A really great restaurant on the banks of Vecht. The food was so delicious that we were licking our fingers at the end of our meal. The service was excellent and the host and the staff were really friendly and courteous. The pizzas are something to definitely try at this place. And so are the desserts. The outdoor sitting is a great way to spend the time at. Overall a great place to enjoy one’s meal.

Beautiful setting in a greenhouse on the Vecht. When we arrived there was a nice band playing. You order and pay with the QR code on the table and the orders are then delivered fairly quickly. Delicious Italian dishes. The mussels could have had a bowl of water for the dirty fingers, but all the dishes were finger licking good so that was also solved. Excellent homemade Tiramisu and the Italian coffee is highly recommended. And don't forget to try our own beers Ronny's Blondje and the Radler van Roze Bunker syrup.

What a terrible welcome from the owner. We parked the car for a while to ask whether the restaurant is accessible to people with disabilities. Although this was in a place with a cross, it was only for a moment. Well, that's why the owner went completely crazy. We left immediately and will never return!

Spacious and very nice Italian style pizza place that also serves tasty bites. At the river, with a good playground. There is a children pool that you can sometimes use if there are locals that invite you in, this is a bit ambiguous for which they don't get the topscore from me, but other than the unclear pool use, this is really a very nice place to hang out along the river

The food is excellent. The ambiance is great too. Unfortunately, they have automated the operation via the QR code. No more personal contact with the staff. You can also eat at a Mac-like restaurant. Not to go out for a nice meal. Shame.
