A gem in a very nice spot on the Vecht

We joined our weekly dinner at Op t island in Nederhorst. The restaurant is located on the Vecht in a kind of glass greenhouse where you can enjoy the beautiful surroundings and the delicious food in the sun and out of the wind. It takes some searching, especially by car. The restaurant is located on the grounds of the holiday park "De Vechtoever". We chose a pasta with vongola and one with funghi and were delighted by the beautiful and tasty dishes. We finished with a delicious fresh tiramisu with raspberries and a good espresso. What a lovely staff, what a beautiful location and above all: what delicious food with a focus on real and honest flavors from good ingredients! Highly recommended! p.s. So you can walk, cycle, sail or car to this restaurant.

Too bad you can only give 5 stars for atmosphere. Op 't Eiland stands out above everything in terms of atmosphere. What a great place!

We were outside, in a large heated veranda. The atmosphere was very nice, and the boy too. We ate very well. Between pasta with shells that were simply sublime (according to my wife), and succulent pizzas, everything was good. go there without fear, plus the place is super quiet.

Amazing place, wonderful atmosphere, one of the best pizza in the Netherlands

A really great restaurant on the banks of Vecht. The food was so delicious that we were licking our fingers at the end of our meal. The service was excellent and the host and the staff were really friendly and courteous. The pizzas are something to definitely try at this place. And so are the desserts. The outdoor sitting is a great way to spend the time at. Overall a great place to enjoy one’s meal.

Beautiful setting in a greenhouse on the Vecht. When we arrived there was a nice band playing. You order and pay with the QR code on the table and the orders are then delivered fairly quickly. Delicious Italian dishes. The mussels could have had a bowl of water for the dirty fingers, but all the dishes were finger licking good so that was also solved. Excellent homemade Tiramisu and the Italian coffee is highly recommended. And don't forget to try our own beers Ronny's Blondje and the Radler van Roze Bunker syrup.

What a terrible welcome from the owner. We parked the car for a while to ask whether the restaurant is accessible to people with disabilities. Although this was in a place with a cross, it was only for a moment. Well, that's why the owner went completely crazy. We left immediately and will never return!

Spacious and very nice Italian style pizza place that also serves tasty bites. At the river, with a good playground. There is a children pool that you can sometimes use if there are locals that invite you in, this is a bit ambiguous for which they don't get the topscore from me, but other than the unclear pool use, this is really a very nice place to hang out along the river

The food is excellent. The ambiance is great too. Unfortunately, they have automated the operation via the QR code. No more personal contact with the staff. You can also eat at a Mac-like restaurant. Not to go out for a nice meal. Shame.

What a great tent on the water! Delicious food, very friendly service, highly recommended!

This place had been saved to my Google Maps for a long time to go, but I never got around to it (I have a gluten intolerance and thought I couldn't really eat a dish here), yesterday we were away for a night in the area and of course we had to visit. To my surprise there were 'normal' gluten-free pizzas and what kind of pizzas were they, super tasty and richly prepared. Was so happy! Other food looked tasty too. The service is friendly, the seating is fantastic, there is a playground nearby for the little ones, in short, what a beautiful place. We will definitely come back again.

Absolutely delicious food, feeling very authentic Italian. The antipasti and pizzas were SO GOOD! Awesome ambience, the kids were jumping into the water and making use of water toys and a paddle board. Dog friendly and there was the cutest puppy having fun too. Can’t wait to be back, it’s the perfect spot for a sunny day.

Very idyllic, a beautiful place to have a delicious lunch on the water where boats sail past, you can sunbathe and swim in the Vecht. It's just a pity that the little ones were not allowed in the Chalet Parc's swimming pool. It was very quiet when we were there.

What a super nice place on the Vecht this is! There is a greenhouse on the water with cozy tables and around the corner you can sit in another place, also inside. Casual atmosphere, very attentive service, and delicious Italian dishes. The pizzas and pasta are delicious! As well as the desserts. The crostinis are mediocre, especially for the price. In summer you can sit on the large terrace and drinks come from a converted caravan. You can also moor your boat there. But this no-nonsense spot in Nederhorst den Berg is highly recommended.

Eeeeexcellent!! Ron ( cpt.Ron) and his Team doing a great job. Taste of food absolutely delicious. We ate Pizza and Pasta. Both are great. Pizza dough very slim and crunchy. But this is the beging of a great taste trip. Ronny's Blondje Beer ( self crafted) is awesome. I recommend to everyone to visit this place. Prices are really ok. Location - amazing.

Beautiful place. Delicious pure Italian dishes. Tasty drinks. Crispy pizza, crostini and ravioli. Everything is tasteful. Sweet service and friendly owner. Search no longer because they have everything you need here. We were in the greenhouse on a rainy evening, but I'm sure that when the weather is nice it will be fantastic to sit along the water.

Rarely bad food... With a small, simple card you would expect the quality to be good, but unfortunately this is not the case. The tomato sauce on my ravioli tasted burnt; so this was reported; nothing was done with it. The mussels were completely dried out and lukewarm. Ravioli with salmon had little taste. The bill was way too high, especially considering the quality. It's a fantastic location for a drink, but for food I would quickly move on.

Hele slechte ervaring! Fantasieloze en smakeloze pizza’s en pasta’s. Slechte bediening en vieze tafels en borden. Veel te hoge prijzen. Alleen de plek is prachtig.

Super lekkere en relaxte ervaring! We kwamen met een groep van 20 mensen met uiteenlopende voorkeuren. Dat werd zonder problemen door de vriendelijke bediening geregeld. Dus pizza’s, pasta’s of salades: het maakte niets uit. Ook de huiswijn was gewoonweg goed. En houd ruimte over voor de heerlijke toetjes! Ik houd van tiramisu en die was perfect. Geen gekke creatieve uitspattingen maar gewoon zoalsnje verwacht.

Pizza was delicious, best pizza I've had in a long time

Eten was echt faya no cap, er gaat gek tt lekkuh eten rond in Nederhorst, nederhorst is op nieuwe wereld weetje gang gang.

Sfeervolle plek aan de Vecht! De kas biedt de mogelijkheid om heerlijk te eten met uitzicht op het water. Het eten is smaakvol, leuke kaart! “Losse” gezellige sfeer met in het weekend life muziek. Een plek waar je graag weer aanschuift🍷🇮🇹

Een heel leuk en goed restaurant met lieve mensen en een lekker sfeertje. :)

Hele leuke plek om even te genieten, eten is heerlijk en de bediening is heel aardig. Mooie plek om ook met je bootje aan te meren in de zomer en naar live muziek te luisteren.

Eigenlijk moet ik deze plek voor mezelf houden, want dit is echt een idyllische plek om te eten met picknicktafels aan de Vecht. Leuk met kinderen, want die kunnen heerlijk in de Vecht zwemmen. Echt een aanrader. Ook genoeg vega en vegan opties op het menu.

Dit is echt het mooiste plekje van Nederhorst den Berg. Fijne bediening, soms heel jong. QR-code werkt altijd als het soms misschien iets langer duurt. Pizza’s (met dunne bodem) erg lekker. Ook de pasta is top en vergeet vooral niet de Tiramisu en Scroppino. Ron en zijn team zijn fantastisch!

Echt een leuke plek om even gezellig te borrelen of eten!

Wat een leuke plek. Eten is echt heel goed, vers, authentiek en geen opsmuk. Ook (misschien wel juist) een goede stek bij minder goed weer, in de kas voel je toch alsof je buiten zit. Echte aanrader!!

Met een stel vrienden hier afgesproken voor het vieren van een verjaardag. En staan een stuk of 20 tafels direct aan het water van De Vecht. Er is ook een kas waar je bij wat minder weer in kan zitten. Bediening is vriendelijk en losjes. Op de kaart een ruime keuze aan Italiaanse gerechten en kleinere snacks. De pizza’s smaakten heerlijk en komen net als de andere gerechten uit de keuken van het naastgelegen bungalow park. De drankjes komen uit de caravan die op het terras aan het water staat. Zoek je geen chique restaurant maar wel een mooie plek aan het water? Liever geen snackkraam maar juist een plek met lekker eten en vriendelijke (maar junior) bediening? Probeer dan zeker deze onontdekte hotspot waar je fantastisch kunt genieten van het mooie uitzicht over De Vecht en polder!

Wat een geweldige plek! Hip, met prachtig terras aan de Vecht en een voortreffelijke (Italiaanse) menukaart. Vanwege het personeelstekort werd gevraagd om via de QR-code te bestellen en te betalen. Vriendelijke service!

Aanrader. Fantastisch eten. Italiaanse keuken. Het was druk toen wij er waren (wel gereserveerd) en personeelstekort. Maar de bediening deed hun uiterste best.

We stopped by for a quick lunch and this was a great surprise. A nice lunch menu with multiple Gluten free options. The Gluten free pizza was one of the best we had for a long time. Service was very friendly and professional. Inside and outside seating on the canal. A great spot to stop on a hike or a bike trip.

Het is opzich een keuk restaurant maar niet mijn smaak. Ik was hier ivm een bedrijfsuitje.

Altijd heerlijk eten in een ontspannen sfeer

Echt een bijzondere plek. Idyllisch gelegen aan de Vecht. Bij mooi weer de zon onder zien gaan in de verte. Je rijdt echt even 'in the middle of nowhere', dan langs een bungalow-park en dan ben je er. Zowel binnen als buiten kun je leuk zitten. En Italiaanse menu-kaart is zéér uitgebreid en super lekker eten. Aanrader: eens in de zoveel tijd ontdek je een pareltje....

Heerlijke pizza's, fijne bediening

We hebben hier met 4 man gegeten. 2 hadden pizza en 2 ravioli. Het smaakte allemaal prima. Je kan buiten aan het water zitten of binnen in de serre. De zelf gemaakte Radler was heel lekker.

Briljante informele eettent op goed bereikbare maar afgelegen plek bij een chalet park. Fantastisch dineren aan de vecht, of bij minder weer in een soort grote glazen "orangerie". Geen stijve servetten maar lekker relaxed picnic style pizza van een plank. En hele leuke gezellige bediening! Handig bestellen met QR code, ik zie dat sommigen het als minpunt aanmerken, maar ik vind het ideaal. Uitzoeken, betalen, drinken en eten. Als je een vraag hebt dan kan je natuurlijk wel iemand aanspreken.

Eten is heerlijk. Uitzicht fantastisch. Super relaxed op het gras. Alleen bestellen via een app doet af aan de goede gevoel. Wat een onpersoonlijk gedoe.
