Had a wonderful lunch with a group of 18 people. What a warm welcome (stove was burning), kind and attentive service. The food was delicious, a lunch platter with quiche, generously filled sourdough bread, different types of cheese and pumpkin soup. We ended with coffee/tea and different types of cake. It was a great afternoon, highly recommended! A top location!

Great place, very nice service and tasty food. Don't expect a professionally oiled catering machine. When it's busy it takes longer and they don't serve inside when the terrace is full. Love it or leave it.

De Serre is a fairytale place on the edge of the forest of 's Graveland. A country estate where you want nothing more than to sit down and enjoy yourself because everything served is pure and tastes delicious! The people who bring you the goodies at the Serre are also so nice; themselves, sincere and authentic! And all very dedicated and all with a big heart. It is clear that everyone here enjoys contributing to pure nature on your plate, surrounded by special, beautiful and wonderful people! A fun place to be and a fantastic place to have a nice lunch after a walk in the woods. Or enjoy a glass of wine after a beautiful summer day. Every reason or excuse to visit the Serre is legitimate. De Serre is a place that makes you happy!

After a long walk, our legs tired and thirst building up, we finally reached De Serre. The sun shone on the terrace, people sat quietly at their tables. From the outside it seemed cozy, relaxed. We chose an empty table and were ready to order, but then the atmosphere quickly changed. A woman stood at the bar asking if she could get a cappuccino. What followed was a look of discomfort from the lady behind the bar and an answer that you did not expect: “Yes, but you will have to wait an hour.” An hour?! For a cappuccino? The explanation afterwards sounded vague—they couldn't make four cappuccinos at the same time. Well, I thought, that must be the coffee maker. I only had an apple juice and three beers in mind, which you can grab straight from the refrigerator. “And only drink four bottles?”, I tried carefully, “I'm sure that's doable?” Because that, I thought, shouldn't be a problem. Serve quickly—cap off, done. But no, we had to wait an hour for that too. “The terrace is full,” said the lady behind the bar, as I looked over my shoulder at the tables behind me, where the guests sat sighing in their chairs, with looks that seemed lost in the void. The terrace wasn't even really full, but everyone seemed to be stuck in the same waiting time. I returned to our table in surprise. The lady behind the bar then moved haughtily across the terrace. She cast disapproving looks at people who chose another table or moved too often, sighing at how inconvenient it was for people to just “switch tables.” It seemed as if the terrace was not full because of an influx of thirsty customers, but because of the customers themselves, as if they were the problem. As we stood there at our table, we noticed the staff behind the bar, three people who barely seemed to be doing anything. Eventually we got fed up. Without drinks we walked away, relieved to escape that strange situation. What was left behind was the thirst and the realization that some places, no matter how charming, are only for traveling through, not for standing still.

Beautiful place. Unfortunately, an unpleasant experience. We arrived at 3:10 PM and stood in line to order. This happened with an incomprehensible slowness, which the service did not seem to be concerned about at all. At 3.30 pm it was finally our turn and we ordered drinks and cake, because we had a birthday boy. Then it turned out that the few pieces of cake that were still there had already been reserved for people at other tables. Everything was gone! So very festive. When we expressed our disappointment, we were told that we should have arrived at 11am. Well, we're here because you're open, right? We then had to wait another 20 minutes for the drinks. What I found most annoying was the total lack of effort or interest in making customers happy at the service.

The conservatory is an attractive place with pleasant and cheerful employees. The food is delicious and so is the view! I will definitely come back again!!

Yesterday I had coffee and lunch with a group of friends at Proeflokaal De Serre. Highly recommended, tasty dishes and super nice service. And not only that, also full of humor.....We first had coffee, then a walk through the beautiful Hilverbeek estate and finally lunch in the conservatory. And afterwards, take a stroll through the organic vegetable garden. It was a party.

The sandwich is tasty and so large that it can be eaten by two people.

Fabulous little cafe near the woods with a 'gezellig' atmosphere. They have a delicious selection of cakes and great coffee. Staff is friendly and the service is smooth. If you are lucky with the weather, you can enjoy your coffee on their terrace with a view of the huge market garden.

Only two stars due to the +30 minutes wait to get two tosti and a hotdog. The lunch menu has only 5 options; thus, it should be feasible to serve the customers much faster! It is not a paella, guys, just sandwiches! The food itself is fine but too expensive for what it is. I walked out hungry. The long wait ruined an otherwise agreeable setting.

What a wonderful place. Both in terms of location (beautiful in nature and yet close to Hilversum) and in terms of atmosphere and service. We were here with a group of ten colleagues. After the warm welcome, we were shown around the estate by the gardener. Then a delicious drink at De Serre, with fresh, local products (including wine from the neighbors!). Recommended!

During this sunny week we looked for an outdoor location for our creative brainstorm. De Serre has provided a great solution! A table in the lee was reserved for us, so we didn't have to worry about our apple cheeks getting burned. We would like to compliment the hard workers in the service and kitchen; There are exceptionally friendly staff who serve with a smile even in Sahara temperatures and refill the carafes of water on their own initiative. We also had a choice of tasty and healthy lunch options. The mere fact that the bread comes from the famous Veldkeuken made my mouth water in droves. But the highlight of the day was the 'wet' apple pie. We concluded the brainstorm with a pile of great ideas and a big ten for Proeflokaal De Serre!

What a nice surprise arriving there! Being so close to Hilversum and having the feeling to be in the middle of the countryside, peaceful and relax. The people working there are really sweet and the food delicious! (Fresh and homemade). I can only recommend!

This afternoon we had lunch in the sun on the terrace of De Serre. What a wonderful place! (I already knew that, but it has now been confirmed again). Delicious food made with a lot of attention and fine, good ingredients and friendly staff, including a hostess with an open cheerfulness that makes you happy. Perfect setting to relax on a Lazy Sunday Afternoon (or any other day). It is a gem in the Gooi that should be cherished.

At the end of April I celebrated my birthday with lunch at Proeflokaal de Serre. This was really a huge success! It is a beautiful country estate with a personal approach. We got a nice table on the veranda. A nice sheltered place, where children could go about their business around us. The place exudes a family atmosphere and all employees are very warm and do their best to give you a good experience. What struck me was the love for the ingredients and details. Dishes with clean ingredients and visually appealing. Good coffee, tea, cake. Details: vases with seasonal flowers. We spent a pleasant and unhurried afternoon here with the group. 100% recommended for a get-together with your loved ones. Afterwards you can take a nice walk :-)

Surprisingly nice location! It was raining quite a bit when we arrived so we had lunch inside the attractive greenhouse. They have a small lunch menu with tasty dishes. The burrata sandwich was delicious! We restrained ourselves and skipped the cakes 🙂 So we will definitely go back when the weather is nice to enjoy all the goodies and delicious wines on the terrace.

After waiting and watching everyone around being helped - we were denied to even have a bottled drink because they arrogantly claimed to be too busy. While waitress were walking slowly around with one glass at the time. Such a pity and waste of time

Geheime verstopte intieme parel in het gooi. Kleinschalig. Nog niet ontdekt.

1 tomatensoep (15 €) + 1 tosti kaas (11 €) = 26 euro voor een simpele lunch. 1 salade (4 ingrediënten: spinazie, geitenkaas, tomaatjes, pijnboompitten) 16 euro. Prijzen werden niet getoond van te voren, er moest besteld worden aan de bar. Als het iets lagere prijzen waren (ondanks inflatie) dan 5 sterren want de lunch was (simpel maar) lekker en vers!

Awesome place, feels like a romantic hidden French valley. Amazing salads, sandwiches, pies and wines. All made with home grown products. The people that work here are super friendly and relaxed. We come here almost every week.

Heerlijk geluncht in de tuin, zalig!

Vandaag op de fiets geluncht. HEERLIJK!!!!! Een parel van een lokatie. Prijzen wat hoog maar alles is biologisch-dynamisch en goed, dus eigenlijk kloppen die prijzen. Had een sandwich oude kaas met beurre Café de Paris, ruim portie met veel verassende smaken. Een glas bubbels en de feeststemming was compleet. Manlief had een tosti met chutney en een earl gray thee, ook heel goed en smakelijk. Alleen het vriendelijke personeel kan nog wel wat horeca training gebruiken in logica en snelheid van serveren, maar ach je zit er heerlijk. Kortom: hier gaan wij heel vaak naartoe fietsen.

Lekkere gezonde broodje zalm met veel maar heerlijk groen. Dressing was ook erg lekker

Heerlijke brunch op een zonnige Zondag

Hapjes en drank prima verzorgd. Serre is mooi woord voor een afdak met ramen.

Wat erg rommelig, we moesten zelfs ergens anders gaan zitten omdat er een grote groep onaangekondigd langskwam. Eten was heeeeeeeerlijk en de bedoening meer dan vriendelijk.

Idyllic location under the trees with limited but sympathetic menu of drinks, cake and (very overpriced) sandwiches. Friendly staff and perfect place to have a drink after a nice walk in the surroundings, but not advised for lunch due to limited availability of menu items and high prices.

Wat een heerlijke plek om even te zitten. Een heerlijke tosti gegeten van een groot stuk brood. Even lekker tot rust komen hier.

De locatie is prachtig, service is goed, eten is lekker, maar... 15 euro voor een broodje is echt wel veel. Ik begrijp dat de horeca prijzen omhoog zijn gegaan en ik wil daar best voor betalen (helemaal voor deze locatie), maar dan mag de portie er ook wel naar zijn. Ik heb thuis nog twee boterhammen met pindakaas gegeten...

Mooi, zeer mooi, je zit eigenlijk tussen de produkten in, zeer bijzonder. Aardig personeel, door de drukte moet je even geduld hebben of he hebt mooi de tijd om alles even te bekijken, een mooie groentetuin, bloementuin, kassen en een winkel. En het eten is heerlijk en supervers!

Tijdens ons wandeling door de 's-Gravelandse buitenplaatsen rond de lunch hier even neergestreken op hemelvaartsdag. Omdat er niet veel anders open was, deze plek gekozen. Eerst moeten wachten tot er een plekje vrijkwam, vervolgens wachten bij de counter om de bestelling te plaatsen. Toen meer dan een half uur moeten wachten tot het bestelde werd geserveerd waarbij bleek dat mijn gerecht inmiddels was uitverkocht en ik iets anders moest nemen. Ook de prijzen logen er niet om. Ik kan deze plek dus niet aanbevelen, ondanks het vriendelijk personeel, helaas een ondermaatse service tegen top-tarief.

Heerlijk terras op een idyllisch plekje, heel vriendelijk maar de bestelling bleef helaas bij koffie. Een van ons is veganist en het enige gebak dat veganistisch is, was niet voorradig. Toen nam de rest van ons natuurlijk ook niets bij de koffie. Nadat we nog een poosje genoten hadden van de plek en de zon, besloten we dan maar gelijk te lunchen, maar helaas was ook het enige veganistische lunchgerecht (tosti) er niet, dus toen zijn we maar afgedropen

You can maximise your enjoyment of the beautiful surrounding nature whilst tasting various organic products (we tried a few glasses of the white and rose wines alongside some homemade pizzas which were all absolutely divine). Incredibly friendly staff, who really make you feel right at home - plus you can buy products to take home as gifts for family and friends (I took a bottle of homemade orangecello home for a friends weddig gift). I'll be back!

Ik was op doorreis met de bakfiets van Heiloo naar Renswoude. Ruim halverwege was ik opzoek naar een stop om de accu van de fiets op te laden, maar ook om mezelf op te laden. Ik kwam terecht bij deze geweldig plek met enorme gastvrijheid. Ik genoot heerlijk van een cappuccino met wat lekkers aan de rand van de akkers. Ze maken hier ook (h)eerlijke verse gerechten waar ik tijdens de lunch van heb kunnen genieten. Wat mij betreft een enorme aanrader. Ik hoop er nog eens langs te komen.

De sandwich de Serre met pastrami (gepekeld rundvlees), zuurkool en warme gorgonzola was onverwacht een streling voor de tong. Heerlijke plek om te lunchen voor of na een mooie wandeling.

Eco good concepts at a sunny terras with a view of the large fields and gardens of Eco farm land & boschzicht. Very good energy, relaxing location. Coffee with brownie was excellent, bur apple pie can be recommended too. Also the place for all fresh ecological food in the farms small supermarket. Nice forests for hiking and biking around. In summer go for the pizza nights!

In tijden niet zó'n lekkere pizza gehad. Je kunt lekker op het terras zitten wachten op je pizza terwijl ze het buiten met een steenoven vers bereiden. Wel prijzig

Erg leuke plek om wat te drinken. Lekkere steenovenpiza gegeten (niet elke dag te bestellen). Logistiek wat knullig. Vriendelijke bediening.
