O'Panuozzo in Wijk 06 Binnenstad

Ignore the low ratings, the pizza at this place is banging. I had the calzone and it was superb. Dough is perfect. You cannot fault the food. Next time I'm in Utrecht, I will be back for sure.

Opanuozzo is one of my favorite places for authentic Italian pizza. The menu is simple and focused, offering mainly pizzas, calzoni, and a few desserts, and they do it exceptionally well. The food is absolutely delicious, traditional, and full of flavor. You can really taste the quality of the ingredients and the passion behind the recipes. The staff are generally friendly and welcoming, although their interactions can sometimes feel a bit unusual or unpredictable. Still, it has never stopped me from coming back, because the food is consistently excellent. I visit regularly and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for genuine Italian comfort food

I don’t understand why, while we were sitting outside, we were told to either leave or go sit inside because out of three people only two were eating (everyone ordered drinks), as an argument the waiter mentioned that we were occupying a table for 4 people while we were only 3 (maybe we should have been sitting on each other’s lap?) . Also the “no sharing policy” doesn’t scream friendly environment. I guess that client retention isn’t their best quality. Good pizza though.

Exceptional pizza, as good as I've had in Italy 🇮🇹! I reccomend to pair it with the limoncello to sip for flavour and getting some tap water, for free, with it for the thirst. With a peperoni pizza and a limoncello you have a delicious meal for less than €20! And, dont forget: they have 3 locations in Utrecht, all within walking distance. So if one is full, just check the next!

Amazing pizza!!! Every time I go I try out a new one and I haven't been disappointed. The bread is super good, I could also eat only that and be happy. It does get quite loud, and also quite cramped, but if you don't mind that then you are good to go!

Went there with 4 people. Had a try of 4 different pizzas and all were great, dough sauce toppings the whole lot. We also had a limoncello each and that was a fun experience also. The interior is quite fun, the atmosphere is very enjoyable.

We were told after we ordered that it was the best pizza in Utrecht. And we weren't disappointed.

Worse than the other 2 o’panuzzo. The dough was unsalted and the ingredients… well listing those on the menu card took more space than its presence on the pizza.

I've eaten pizza at the other location before, and I have to say it's nothing like I remembered. The dough is definitely not Neapolitan, the pizza is salty, and the "Margherita Bufalina" is without buffalo mozzarella. I was disappointed and thirsty.

German guy told me this place is bad but it's not bad at all Long wait but they have a cat that's really super friendly. Good pizza even though it kind of wet and there was a chunk of fat in one of the little sausages that was unchewable, but if you like cats and Italian pizza go here. Probably better seating in the larger area of the restaurant.

You can definitely go here for a delicious sandwich. Just be sure to take your time. It can get quite busy, and they'll take their time making yours. Delicious Italian cheeses and meats. Yummy!

The photo speaks volumes. Waited over an hour. Disrespectful way to treat the food. The restaurant can't make another delivery, and Thuiszorgd only refunded €6.50. What a disgrace.

Delicious pizza with a crispy crust and great ingredients – you can tell they put their heart and soul into it. The panuozzo is a real highlight. I'm only deducting one star because you sometimes have to be a little patient. But honestly, good food is always worth the wait. I'll definitely be back!

We ordered through Thuisbezorgd. Besides the fact that the pizza was tilted and everything slid off, it's cold, soggy, and not fully cooked (especially in the middle). It's also not very tasty, and the so-called prosciutto tastes like cooked ham from the supermarket. Over the phone, we were told we couldn't get a refund, but I don't want to eat such a bland pizza twice. Fortunately, Thuisbezorgd will refund us.

It’s a real pizza. Perfectly cooked an fermanted dough, good san marzano. “Only the mozzarella used wasn’t buffalo, but a good fior di latte. I don’t understand why the menu says buffalo.”

Fantastically delicious pizza, perhaps the best ever. The quality of the ingredients really makes the difference here, as do the friendly staff. You really have to try Pizza Eccellente here!

The pizza is amazing. The space is small and can be crowded and noised. If you wanna go there during the weekends, its better make a reservation. When we asked for delivery it took to much time. So, for me, the best option is take away.

Lovely, beautiful and addictive pizza, has that hand made real Italian vibe. Service was pleasant but even though it’s a tiny restaurant it felt like they’re in a rush all the time and hard to get their attention. But overall service was fine ; however , I didn’t like the atmosphere: terrible music playing… dreary pop like Lewis Capaldi, just not what I want to hear whilst eating. Also the acoustics are terribly echoey so hard to hear what anyone on my table is saying.

The pizza was a bit raw inside, and the waiting time for the food was long.

We sat down 3 people for dinner. We ordered 3 pizzas. They were delicious and better than others in similar restaurants. The service at first was good. But immediately - as soon as we finished eating and I went to wash my hands (in the WC), the waitress, in the space of two minutes, passed (three times) by the table and kept asking if we wanted anything else. You mean when someone finishes their meal in a few minutes they will get up and leave, but such a lot of pressure to clear the table, I have never experienced before. I will not step foot in this pizzeria again, because they try to take advantage of every minute and become very pushy towards their customers.

I've now eaten pizza at quite a few places in Utrecht (and other cities). Some were better than others, but nowhere have I had such delicious pizza as at O'Panuozzo. The interior is very basic, but the focus is on the food. Fantastic thick crust and topped with the very best ingredients. Highly recommended!

Still the best pizza I’ve had in Utrecht 🍕 Always starting with pizza, finishing with a dessert (and limoncello of course 😎). Every time I visit — two glasses minimum. Can’t help it, it’s too good here.

Delicious pizzas, just like you'd expect from O'Panuozzo! I find this location a little less cozy inside than the others.

Widely regarded as some of the best pizza in the city, O'Panuozzo really does deliver quality Neapolitan pizza. A tad pricey, but the chewy dough and top notch ingredients make it a worthwhile stop.

LIED ABOUT PRICES! We were going to order online but thought to call in case it was cheaper directly. I was assured it would be. Turned up - pizzas were €7 more than expected, and looked like this. We would’ve eaten in at that price!!! The chef said that it’s cheaper online as he puts less toppings????? Less????? Burnt, bald and greasy and salty.

1. Very bad experience because of the ‘chef’. He was drunk or high, dancing, chatting and annoying people, playing loud music. Doing anything but not making the pizzas. On top of all that he was ridiculously rude when I tried asking how long it would take. 2. Pizzas were mid, little toppings, burnt crust, price quality BAD. 3. Waited 1h30 for 2 pizzas 4. The waitress was really friendly and sweet. She tried to make up for the long waiting times, I feel bad for her. (Advice: you can find a better place to work at.)

The atmosphere was very nice, the service was excellent and attentive (understood – as is true in Naples!), what good food and good wine are. The prices are very good, for 20 euros per person with a lovely glass of wine, a super tasty and enjoyable meal. You have to understand the atmosphere of Naples in this.

We liked the pizza first time so we came back with friends who came to visit. We had to wait for an hour under the rain on the tables on the sidewalk. Have you ever try waiting for food for an hour with a 4 year old? Yes, annoying. And our friends could not catch their train because no one imagined they prepare dozens of take away before they serve us and make us wait under the relatively heavy rain. Pizza is good, not extremely salty sauce like many other places, but I hated the unkindness.

I rarely write reviews...but what we were served today was absolutely fantastic...If you're in Utrecht and have a craving for pizza, this is the place to go. Thank you...keep it up!!!🙏👍🙋‍♂️

We stumbled upon this small restaurant during our visit to Utrecht and loved it. There are only a few small tables and the atmosphere is very cozy. Very friendly and attentive service and absolutely fantastic pizzas.

Waiting 20 minutes for waiter (who is missing?) to take your order. Meanwhile chef is happily chatting with his friend who he prioritized the pizza for instead of customers. Then chef proceeds to take the order of another customer who came after us. Could it be racism ? Because I’m with Asian friends ? Whatever Don’t come to this branch. Incompetent and slow

Small but nice place, simply furnished with details of the Napoli team; in a decentralized position but very convenient to the center and the parking, right in front of our hotel. Really good and digestible Neapolitan pizza, normal prices and impeccable service. Our waiter, Riccardo, was helpful and friendly, he recommended an excellent beer and served us quickly and carefully.

Today June 14th I went to this pizzeria to eat 2 margheritas. The pizzas were holed and burnt, the pizza chef was sweaty, he was singing while shouting and swearing, I asked him questions and he answered as if he were drunk.. The place was super hot and there wasn't even a fan. The waitress with blonde hair served well in private when she washed her hands and then dried them on her clothes.. Judge for yourself!

People there are nice but the Margherita pizza is literally awful. Not even worth a Euro. The Sweet Termisso is also bad. I'm not sure why it is crowded there. Guys,make your food better at least worth the price !!

When we saw the long queue outside we felt excited to try . We ordered Margaritas and Tirmuso but they were less than average. They don’t deserve that long queue outside. The worst thing they force you to order more even if you just want to try small things first.

O'Panuozzo is hands down the best pizza restaurant in Utrecht. Italians who know what they're doing. This location on Voorstraat specifically is very cozy and cramped, which adds to the experience in my opinion. If you like a private dining experience this location is not for you. And they have a cute cat (which is important to note for people with allergies or fear of cats). It sits on your lap if it feels like it. Don't be saddened when the front has no space, there is some in the back as well. The only thing I noticed is that with reservations it is sometimes confusing which place you'll end up at. I reserved once at Mariastraat and ended up at the one next to the station, after receiving this note on the day itself. I chose the one at Mariastraat on purpose (the atmosphere specifically) so it was a bit sad to see you cannot really trust your reservation.
