We received a very warm welcome, with friendly smiles and the pleasant, contagious good mood of the owners. The pizzas and lasagna were generous, well prepared, and delicious. We had a great time and will happily come back. Grazie mille !

Lived above the shop for a long time. If you ask me, it's the best Italian restaurant in Utrecht! Been going there for years.

We ate at this pizzeria at the end of November. The owner was very kind, Neapolitan, and very friendly. We found a family atmosphere, greeted at the entrance by a very friendly waiter, who had us sit at the table and after a bit of chat we ordered both pizza and food. We chose lasagna and pizza Margherita, excellent quality. For dessert we had homemade tirsmisu, so delicious. The price was excellent. The lasagna was delicious, the pizza excellent, good dough and fresh ingredients. I recommend anyone going to Utrecht to go and eat at this restaurant/pizzeria. Thank you Mr. Angelo, very hospitable.

The pizza is tasteless and I will never forget how the owner treated me when I humbly asked him a while back if they were looking for someone to serve: he ridiculed me in front of everyone and told me to leave. An indescribable jerk and an unbelievable jerk...never again x

The pasta was delicious! The portions were generous, so you'll leave with a full stomach. They were also very friendly. They could definitely improve on hygiene!

The food was delicious, and the owner was incredibly friendly and patient with us. We had a quick chat afterward and received a beautiful white rose. I'd definitely love to come back here. This time for pasta. I had the lasagna, but the pasta dishes from others looked so good. And the portions are ample. A bit larger than other places, but not overflowing.

Food is good, big portion, and reasonable price. Staff and deco are also good. The only problem is that we waited for an hour for our order (there were only 3 groups of customers when we ordered the food….). Otherwise, I’d give them 5 stars

I've never had a worse pizza than this. It was obvious that the dough was freshly made without letting it rise. The ingredients for the Margherita pizza were tasteless and unpleasant, while the bacon and onion pizza was made with local ingredients and was good. The price is average for restaurants in the city, but for €15 a pizza, I expect it to be at least decent.

I've been there more than three times, and the food was delicious! They give you so much, I can never finish it all in one go, and for ladies, they give you a nice pink rosé afterward. Highly recommended!🥰

I ate here on a weeknight. It's a small place, so it's a bit of a squeeze. It also looks a bit cluttered, with things like stock piled behind the front door. The food was fine, but it wasn't anything special. I'm also not a fan of a cat wandering around the place. All in all, it's okay, but I think there are better options.

For an Italian, it's like going to dinner with your grandparents: you can smell the aroma of pizza and cutlets, the love, and the feeling of home. Mr. Angelo told us a few anecdotes from his life and treated us to a wonderful meal. Just like at your grandparents', if you don't finish everything, Angelo makes you a party favor to take away. He gave us two glasses of Marsala, a red rose, and two lollipops for our son. It's a bit like a grandmother standing on the doorstep, almost not wanting you to leave and trying to give you everything she can as a sign of affection. Pizzeria Santa Lucia is much more than just a restaurant, it's a truly Italian experience that could be called "just like at your grandparents'." Thank you, Angelo 🥰

Amazing pizzas! You can absolutely tell they have been made fresh and with fresh ingredients! Quick service aswell! We went at 7pm, this was way too early so you will be in there on your own.. Owner is lovely and friendly! €47 for two pizzas, a beer, a tango and a non-alcoholic Tiramisu.

Friendly and consistently good and affordable

We love the food here so much that we happily drive half an hour for takeout. Authentic Italian and delicious dishes (plus tiramisu). The staff also makes the experience much more enjoyable.

Santa Lucia offered a truly authentic Italian experience in the heart of Utrecht! The pizza was outstanding – thin, perfectly baked, and full of real Italian flavor. The atmosphere was warm and relaxed, transporting us straight to Naples or Rome. To top it off, we were treated to a cold shot of liqueur and given a lollipop – a playful and thoughtful gesture that made the evening even more special. Wonderful people and excellent food. An authentic restaurant with delicious dishes. My daughter had a pizza salami and I had a vegetarian dish with eggplant. I would recommend it to everyone.

Honestly one of the worst pizzerias I've ever been to. We were a large group and had to write our order ourselves on paper while the server was standing next to us. The food was good but not outstanding for the price and above all we could only pay in cash even though we were a large group. 210€ in cash, who has that? Not great.

Had dinner with some friends. The service is excellent and it has an Italian atmosphere, but the table and menu were greasy, the soup extremely salty and when you go to the toilet it seems like you are descending into a construction site. The pizza was fine.

Dry bottom and tasteless sauce, friendly people. Trying to wrap yourself up with flattery such as a rose and sunglasses as a 'gift' that has been there since the time when smoking was allowed inside. Saw an older lady behind me eagerly trying to cut her pizza. That can mean two things: dull blades or dry soil. I think both 🤣 do you want to go back in time 20 years, authentic Italians who flatter for tips and a tent that Rob Geus and his UV lamp even shy away from? Then go to Santa Lucia.

Ate here with my niece and had a really nice experience! The food was tasty and served quickly. The atmosphere was also great with nice Italian music and a real Italian who was busy working in the kitchen. We couldn't finish all of the pasta, but luckily the chef was kind enough to offer us a container to take the rest of the pasta home with us. Afterwards I was presented with a beautiful rose, really sweet! I would definitely recommend coming here for a bite to eat!😄🇮🇹

Ordered 3 items (excluding tiramisu and 2 drinks, they even got one drink wrong) , the lasagna, the penne au 4 formaggi and the canneloni. the lasagna was alright, the penne was good, and the tiramisu that came with the penne was great even. HOWEVER the canneloni was inedible, it nearly broke my plastic fork that was given with the meal trying to get a bite. i did get a phone call with someone working there but their dutch was very poor as they could not understand my complaint and i didnt get refunded for the item or got compensated for it (or the wrong drink for my order) in any way. look at the pictures how much pressure i had to put and the fork didnt even penetrate the canneloni yet in the second picture. (i have a video of how bad it actually was but i cant post it on here) i do think that what they said over the phone "if you told us the canneloni was bad we could make you a new one" would have been an okay offer, theres no way id want to wait 20-30 minutes just for that. excuse me for the rant but paying nearly 70 euros for that order is just bad.

I would not recommend this place. It was dirty, I would even say filthy and so everything else was impacted by that :( We were in a rush so we stayed to have some pizza, which was not terrible but still, the place as a whole - does not raise the appetite. The bathroom downstairs was so dirty that we were afraid to touch anything and it had a pee smell. Sorry, the place need a deep cleanup. And the cook wore a dirty t-shirt which he had as wearing e when he took the order and brought our pizza 🥲

The furnishings were very old but super cozy; it was like you were really sitting in Italy. The whole family was really nice, and friendly, and the best part was that the food was ready after 15 minutes. It was really empty because I was there from 16:30 to 17:00. The cook was not the youngest, and Did´ent had the best English because he really came from Italy. just the perfect ristorante for eviting if you are there with friends or Famely. It was just perfect.

Pizza was soggy in the middle, tasteless, flavors were not combined and ingredients sloppily spread on the pizza, very ugly stuffed pizza.

Het was mij aanbevolen door mijn zoon, dus zijn we vandaag geweest. Erg verouderd interieur, en decoratie, ze mogen hier wat aandacht aan besteden. Erg vriendelijk personeel, maar er was er maar 1, waardoor alles traag liep, na 30 minuten onze drankjes gekregen, 30 minuten later onze antipasto. Brood gevraagd, maar was al een dag eerder op en vandaag was zondag is ons verteld! AH is open op zondag!! Vervolgen 1 ½ uur wachten op 2 pizza's, ik moest van mij gezin vragen of ze ons vergeten waren, dezelfde pizza bezorger was al 4 keer ol en neer gegaan met een bezorging, en we hadden nog geen pizza gezien. Je kan beter bellen, bestellen en aan je tafel laten bezorgen, heb je je pizza in 15 minuten. Toen ik al aan vertrekken dacht, kwamen onze pizzas. Die pizza van mijn zoon was eetbaar, ik had een capricciosa of iets dergelijks, met champignons, ham en artisjokken, bedekt met hele grote laten ontsmakelijk ham, een paar stukjes artisjokken uit blik en een zwembad in het midden van de vochtigheid van de champignons en de artisjokken. Van een Italiaanse pizzeria verwacht ik meer liefde en aandacht voor het gerecht en de kwaliteit er van, en dat ontbreekt hier.Jammer, niet voor herhaling vatbaar.

We entered the pizzeria hoping to eat a quality pizza given the origin of the pizza chef, but we found ourselves faced with a grumpy, presumptuous and rude owner; so much so that we had ordered a Margherita pizza (€12) we found a buffalo with the addition of buffalo and parmesan (€16.50). We had simply asked for a Margherita pizza, but he, on the other hand, continued to offer us additional ingredients, turning it into a hoax. He greeted us by telling us that we would eat one of the best pizzas and that we should call him to thank him, too bad the phone call was never delivered and as Italians we can say that it was disgusting!

Very good food at a reasonable price.

You feel like you're on holiday in Italy: messy service and top food. The most authentic Italian restaurant in Utrecht. And I should know, because I have lived in this great city for more than 30 years. And those Thuisbezorgd wimps shouldn't complain, you should eat this food straight from the kitchen to your plate. So go to Nobelstraat, that's a much better idea than eating behind your TV, laptop or smartphone!

My friend Afonso worked there for a couple of months and took me to the Santa Lucia 💫 I loved the pizzas, they were delicious and came so quick 😌 I really recommend go there, a truly Italian pizzeria in the centre of Utrecht 🇮🇹

It's nice to place an order and then wait an hour and a half to cancel the order. Do not accept orders if you cannot deliver.

After waiting 1.5 hours for the order, it was canceled. Delivery time was supposed to be 8:07 PM, but it was canceled at 8:15 PM. No service. Bad communication. Unreachable by telephone.

Oil is put on the table as if it were garlic sauce, but they do not tell you how spicy it is. The entire table had a stomach ache for 2 days. otherwise a great tent, not touching the oil.

Great pizza! Value for money in Utrecht for sure. I called for two takeaway pizzas, they were almost ready when I arrived(around 10-15 minutes). Had a little chat with the friendliest man there, who finished the pizzas with a more than generous amount of fresh parmesan as he was pulling them out of the oven. He gave me a rose he picked from a vase on a table for being fast and completely made my day!
