Optisport Cafe in Wijk 10 Dubbeldam

There were four of us here and we thought we could grab a quick bite to eat before heading back out for the ice skating, but in the end, that didn't happen due to the poor service. We had to wait 45 minutes for fries and a frikandel. Disgraceful! If I were in the kitchen myself, I could have that order ready in ten minutes max. The man behind the counter wasn't exactly 100 either. It seemed like it was his first day in the Netherlands and this job, because he was completely useless. Half an hour after we placed our order, we went to ask where our food was. He then took our order again, even though it wasn't what we asked for, and walked away while I wasn't even finished yet. We sat down, and 10 minutes later, I got my food. My other friend, however, had the exact same order and had to wait another fifteen minutes. So she had to wait an hour for her fries and frikandel. That's ridiculous. We're never coming back!

Absolutely terrible. I ate here with friends while we were ice skating. We wanted to grab a quick bite to eat. My friend and I ordered one toasted sandwich, one sandwich, fries with mayonnaise, and a frikandel. We ordered at 1:49 PM and checked our bank statement. Our food arrived at a whopping 2:30 PM. We waited 40 minutes. We even approached the staff. The man we spoke to couldn't understand us, so we tried to speak English, but he still couldn't understand us and was very curt. He then rewrote our order and walked away. They then excused us that it was very busy, and we had to wait another 10 minutes after the 30 minutes we'd already waited. The toasted sandwich was even cold when we got it. It was outrageous! We are definitely not satisfied!

Too few fans in the stands, so they just shut the place down. I had to wait in the hallway before the third half of the hockey match started, while they were having a blast with my other colleagues. Not customer-friendly at all.

The staff is grumpy. Definitely had a blast.

Saturday morning 29 octiber 2022. Very bad service. Rude man behind a bar swearing at us, calling us idiots. Unbelievable. I find it unacceptable to behave like this and say this to a custommer. Do not recommend this place!
