Orchid in Leidschendam - Zuid en omgeving

We got babi pangang with nasi today. The food wasn't up to par. The nasi rice was sticky and didn't taste like it normally does. The babi meat was overcooked and saltier than usual. Perhaps the original chef was on vacation, or someone else? Unfortunately, the food wasn't very good.

I had the all-you-can-eat package. Chinese version. More than enough. The tenderloin with pepper sauce was delicious.

Delicious food. Last minute for 10 people. Friendly service. Always good. Extra whipped cream on the coffee. We enjoyed it again for a reasonable price. Recommended.

My partner and I have been coming here for years. We also go regularly with family. All you can eat for a good price, always good food, and great service. Never a complaint. And we eat out a lot. But we've been coming here at least twice a month for years.

We arrived and had made a reservation, but they apparently didn't know. We sat down and ordered our food and drinks. After 10 minutes, we received our drinks but no "proekoek" (tasting biscuits), while other tables did. After another 45 minutes, we asked how much longer it would be, and our waiter said another 15 minutes. We wanted to leave and asked for the bill. By the time we finally got it, we wanted to pay and leave without eating. But it took so long before we received the bill that the food was ready. We thoroughly enjoyed the small portions and didn't apologize. Don't go.

Yesterday babi pangang with nasi picked up. Nasi was sticky and tasteless and the babi pangang was very dry and also not tasty. In addition, chicken curry with bami and chicken curry was also very watery and had little taste just like the bami. Will not order here again, has gone downhill a lot. Too bad!

Top restaurant, heerlijk, all you can eat is hier ook mogelijk, bediening is goed en gezellig, en eten is werkelijk geweldig, echt een aanrader, tot snel weer.

Without a doubt the best and nicest Chinese restaurant in Leidschendam and the surrounding area. Wonderful to sit in but also great to take away. Please call first when picking up as it can be busy.

Picked up again and it was disgusting, not fresh at all and a lot of hard things in the food. Totally disinterested staff and making strange faces. If you don't feel like it anymore, stop wasting your money now. Enjoy coming here, price and quality are always good Now a few years later, two stars less, last two times, much less hope that that is temporary

Ordered here for the first time and everything exceeded expectations. Super tasty and tender babi pangang. Tjap tjoi tasty crispy vegetables. Here you will receive a bag of prawn crackers with your order. Good, clear website with ordering function and payment via iDeal, among others. Cash payment also possible.

Ordered & picked up food for the first time today. What was supposed to be a festive meal quickly became a vague meal. The noodles were grainy & wet, the shrimp & cow lo yuk dough was dry & possibly barely fried. The food was mediocre tasteless. The Foe Yong Hai was reasonable. Ordering something here a second time will not happen again.

Very nice and tasty food. You can always choose from all kinds of dishes in small portions. So only eat what you like best. Small and cozy!

I have also had dinner with several business associates, and everyone is enthusiastic about the quality. Just take your time. And you will be rewarded!!!

Ik rij tegenwoordig de chinese muur voorbije. Dit restaurant maakt nog echt chinese gerechten lekker en smaakvol heb expres twee grote loempia's bij besteld om even te vergelijken prima loempia echt zo als het hoort dus pluim voor jullie

A truly delicious meal with 4 people. Opted for All you can eat. Lovely staff, cozy. Traditional small-scale restaurant with a wide choice of tasty snacks. It's a shame that too many people ignore the Chinese these days. You don't get service, quality and sufficient food everywhere. Certainly at Orchid. Affordable, we spent €140 (excluding well-deserved tip) for 4 people including drinks. Good luck! Top!

NO DOGs allowed !!! We took a long way to this restaurant and they don’t allow any dogs. Food must be good we wasn’t allowed to enter and to eat this is very sad. Dog lovers - you cannot enter the restaurant.

Weer heerlijk genoten. . 2 personen die bij mij waren " begrepen " het niet helemaal..... maar de ober een gezellige jonge man heeft het prima opgelost en bood aan de nasi ramas in het All jou can eat systeem passend te maken super goed meegedacht wij waren er op zaterdag 6 mei

Wij hadden de rijsttafel voor 2 personen afgehaald. Leuk afwisselend menu met veel verschillende soorten vlees en groenten. Super prijs kwaliteit verhouding. Je zou hier makkelijk met 4 personen van kunnen eten.

Veel lekkerder dan de grote concurrent verderop. Heerlijke tomatensoep, bami iets minder

Het all you can eat is vers klaar gemaakt. Het duurt vaak wel even, maar het is goed. Het enige nadeel vonden wij vanavond dat de bami en de rijst veel later dan andere gerechten werden uitgeserveerd. Jammer! Vanavond duurde alles wel erg veel langer dan eerdere keren.

Vandaag voor de eerste keer besteld online. Het eten is fantastisch. Vers, echt te genieten. Ik heb vaak in Singapore Chinees gegeten, en Orchid komt echt in de buurt qua (native) kwaliteit en smaak. Het is absoluut GEEN fast food (die je kapot makt na 2 porties), maar echt quality stuff. Ontzettend goed en een aanrader. Gelukkig zitten ze bij ons in de buurt 🙂

Altijd goed. Vandaag voor het eerst lang moeten wachten om op te halen. Half uur langer dan de afspraak. Beetje jammer, volgende keer beter.

Wat een heerlijk eten voor een zeer vriendelijke prijs. Alles is vers en lekker klaar gemaakt en van goede kwaliteit. En dan ook nog een hele leuke en vriendelijke bediening. Je voelt je echt gast. Hier komen we zeker terug.

Prima. Vriendelijk personeel. Lekker eten Niet spectaculair, maar wel prima. Niet te duur. Sfeervol, beetje huiskamer stijl. Geen speciaal bier op de kaart, dat is wel jammer.

Heerlijk eten. Voor ons de beste Chinees uit de regio. Alles zo smaakvol. Grote porties met zorg bereid, toppertje!

Onwijs lekker eten goede porties voor een goede prijs. Medewerkers zijn vriendelijk .

We hebben hier een paar keer eten afgehaald. Heerlijke gerechten en ruime porties. Aanrader is de Chinees-Indische rijsttafel voor 2 personen!

Met zijn viertjes naar Orchid - ik dacht een gewoon chinees restaurant. Maar toch een tikkie anders! All you can eat, maar nu niet uit klaargemaakt grote hoeveelheden, of uitbakken te scheppen. Nee: tapas-achtig telkens opnieuw bestellen en alle gerechten vers bereid, gefrituurd, gebakken of gegrild. Een mooie keuze uit de best uitgebreide menukaart met voor elk wat wils. En de smaak ... erg goed. Geen gemiddelde "chinees-smaak" maar toch vaak nét wat lekkerder, net wat specialer. Kleinere porites, die wat mij betreft soms nóg wel ietsje kleiner mogen zijn (bijvoorbeeld iets kleiner soep kommetje, of iets kleinere kip-porties), zodat je meer variëteiten kan uitproberen. Al met al een zeer genoeglijk etentje, met écht lekkere gerechten. Een verrassing op dit gebied! En voor ons zeker een reden om nog eens terug te gaan. Voeg hierbij een heel rustige prettige bediening in een eenvoudig, maar prima ingericht restaurant. Prima eetgelegenheid.
