I had high expectations of Chinese-Indian Restaurant Lotus Garden, but unfortunately the visit was quite disappointing. The food still looked nice on the plate, but was bland in taste, greasy and heavy, and did not seem freshly prepared. In addition, the service was unfriendly and disinterested - we felt more like a nuisance than welcome. When we asked for an adjustment due to an allergy, it was hardly responded to. Finally, the price-quality ratio was disappointing. For what we got, it was simply way too expensive. First and last time eating here.

33.50. Asking per person... 4 adults and 1 child, a total of 186 euros with drinks and so little variety. Just too ridiculous. 1 container with white nasi and 1 container with white noodles. Not even brown nasi or noodles? Don't even let me talk about that meat because that was ridiculous too. Fries were also rock hard and chicken nuggets could be smashed into a window like a brick. Never again Rose garden... your garden is total loss.🙄

For years I walked past Rose Garden while doing my shopping. (Because I usually eat in Cantonese restaurants) Until I saw the banner at the back for an ongoing buffet at a price where you can't eat so cheaply anywhere else. So let's put it to the test. Rose Garden is a neat restaurant, hygienic and super friendly staff. The layout is such that when it was fully occupied we were not bothered by other guests at all. A medium-sized restaurant with a very cozy atmosphere and proper lighting. There are a lot of staff around to serve everyone continuously. Whether buffet or à la carte, nothing is too much for the staff. The buffet (wide choice of standard Chin.&Ind. dishes) is constantly replenished and the food is freshly prepared. What you can expect from a good Chinese-Indian restaurant is present here. Extras are the Ha Kau (shrimp patty) and Sieuw Mai (shrimp/pork patty) and fortunately steamed as it should be instead of fried. The noodles and nasi may be a bit 'bare' for some, but at the buffet it is a side dish, so you should not expect it to contain a lot of leek or pieces of meat/egg. For the Shark Fin Soup and Tomato Soup you can add how many extra ingredients you want. For €23.80 per person (excl. drinks) you really get a lot of value for money. A hidden gem on the edge of a small shopping center.

Nice medium sized Chinese restaurant. I regularly come for the buffet for a nice price. The atmosphere is very nice, good chairs and the food is tasty and plenty of choice. Personally, I sometimes find the toilet annoying and it doesn't flush properly. The business is open until 10 p.m. on Fridays, but as soon as it empties out the lights go out, starting at 9 p.m. Sometimes you get the feeling that you have to leave. So if you want to eat quietly and chat with your group, it is better to make a reservation around 5:30 PM.

Buffet, plenty of choice and good taste. Although busy, the staff did their best to keep up and were friendly, removed the dirty dishes quickly enough and kept track of the drinks.

I come here regularly to eat from the buffet. The food is fine. The waiter comes every 5 minutes to ask if you would like something to drink. This can be done a little less. I understand that this is a revenue model, but I want to be able to eat in peace, undisturbed. The price for the buffet has gone up quite rapidly lately. It shouldn't get more expensive than this.

Picked up Indian rice table, if you liked this you really have no taste. Nasi is just white rice with greens, beef is canned food, chicken was a piece of neck. In short, everything was thrown away and never came again. What a bastard!!

I think the Pangsit should contain a meat ball or something similar, but now only 8 meager spring roll wrappers that were folded inwards a little for the shape. Asking 7 euros for this is smart, but also scandalous.

Despite the service being very good, the food was unfortunately disappointing. I'm not sure why this place has such good reviews and I usually would not write a review if I didn't like a restaurant but I felt that this was necessary. We ordered the Cantonese set for two, and although the portions were very generous, the dishes tasted bad. We didn't have a second serving after the first. I'm a bit concerned that they served us leftover food from a previous day because some of the meat had an odd taste and smelled as though it had started to rot. If it wasn't leftover food then this is just bad food. I also suspect that some of the food came out of cans. I don't mind canned food if it tastes good but you don't go to a restaurant and pay nearly 60 euros to eat canned food. I have eaten Chinese, Korean, Japanese, and other Asian cuisines in various countries and loved it so I can't say that I'm being bias or prejudiced about Chinese cuisine. I just don't think it was good and fresh food that was served to us. I understand some reviewers said that the food tastes like Dutch Chinese food so that Dutch can eat it but that wasn't our problem. The food just didn't taste fresh and good. We went for lunch there on a Sunday and the place was empty, so I really suspect they served us leftovers. I would not recommend this place and I hope the owners will be more mindful of what they serve to customers.

Ik ben door de jaren heen vele malen langs dit restaurant gelopen. Nu eens wensen eten. De gerechten zijn kwalitatief goed en de bediening is vriendelijk. Voor even een snelle maaltijd een prima restaurant.

We often have the takeaway meal (c). This was always delicious. Lately the quality has deteriorated somewhat. Sauce with the foe yong hai was watery. Unfortunately, Babi pangang was not nice and crispy again. We hope it doesn't stay that way, but that we can enjoy your meals for a long time to come. Kind regards.

You definitely get your money's worth at this 'all-you-can-eat' buffet. Beef, pork, chicken, duck, fish, shrimp in all kinds of variations with many side dishes, starters and desserts. Normally one recognizes a high-quality Chinese restaurant if many local Chinese come to eat there, but surprisingly they have not yet discovered the Rose Garden. This may be because the menu looks Chinese-Indian, say with dishes from the Chinese from Indonesia. However, the food tastes authentically like the traditional pot of Zhejiang, the home province of the owners. Culinary and all-you-can-eat don't go together, you might think. There are indeed some dishes hidden among the kitchen's delights, where canned and frozen dishes have made it easy for the cook. Also, not everything is suitable for combining. For example, it seems as if the bacon biscuit has no taste if you have just taken a bite of a sour-sweet lemon pastry. Despite that, it was super tasty. Highly recommended!

The food is lousy, nasi grainy bland, meat is coarsely chopped bland no taste. Could close better. Tried again on Thursday 8-13-2023, old noodles, babi pangang also got old sauce brown instead of red. Unbelievable that Warenwet won't even look there? Do people have to get sick or die first?

Takeaway is better than eating here. We have eaten here a few times and it was certainly delicious and highly recommended, but there is little choice! And drinks are not included, so the costs add up quickly! There is a lot of pork and we are not short on chicken or beef. Picking up is much easier and tastier and you have more choice in terms of food than in a restaurant!

Eten was wat je verwacht. Hat kan zeker beter maar het is zeker niet slecht. De service was wel echt was slechter. Somige waren erg vriendelijk maar er was er een die zeer duidelijk mijn keuze van samestelling van eten afkeurde. Lijkt mij toch waar een lopendbufet voor is, lekker eten wat jij lekker vind. Beetje jammer. Wel een aanrader om niet al te duur lekker veel te eten.

Bijzonder lekker eten. Ok het toetje was verschrikkelijk lekker.

Helaas is de kwaliteit van het eten achteruit gegaan sinds de laatste keer afhalen in 2021. De Koe loe yuk was taai en een grote bal. De Pisang Goreng was veel te veel en te vet. De ossehaas in zwarte saus en de Tjap Tjoy waren wel in orde. Ik denk dat we de volgende keer een deurtje verder gaan. Helaas. Mijn vader had nog last van zijn maag gekregen na het eten.

Een super fijn restaurant met super lieve mensen heel goed eten en uitgebreid buffet. Al 2 x daar een feest gegeven met meer dan 40 mensen. En dat was super verzorgd.

Eten gehaald i.v.m. Covid. Hele lekkere babi panggang spek met nassi goreng. Niet duur en voor 2 personen ruim voldoende. Ook al eens loempia's gehaald, ook heel lekker. Vriendelijke mensen.

We komen hier al 30+ jaar en is altijd top kwaliteit. Paar keer van Eigenaar verandert, maar blijft de number 1 keuze voor Chinees. Overal anders is het altijd net iets minder, hier blijft het altijd top. Alhoewel de gebakken garnalen iets te dik jasje hadden laatst, alle andere gerechten waren top.
