Hmmm, nice for a campsite restaurant, otherwise it's not much. Dry schnitzel, staff making a strange comment to my partner; if you say something, he doesn't get it. Just once, but never again.

A real children's restaurant. The pancake was burnt black.

No reservations are possible on the website. It does say the restaurant is open from 12:00 to 20:00. On a Saturday, I drove over half an hour there with several small children. It turned out there was a sign on the door saying they were closed for a private party. I went inside to ask for an explanation, especially since less than half the restaurant was occupied. No solution, no apology, nothing of the sort. A "just sort it out for yourself" attitude. I then drove back with very disappointed children. Not recommended.

We had a delicious meal here. It's a great place, especially for kids, to enjoy a delicious pancake.

We all had a lovely meal together yesterday. The kids decorated several pancakes and had ice cream for dessert. The adults had different dishes, and everything was delicious. The service was also excellent, so I can't agree with the previous reviews!

Today we had a lovely meal with the little one, grandma, and grandpa. We were a little hesitant because of the bad reviews. As far as we're concerned, this was a great example that you shouldn't always blindly trust reviews. We were warmly welcomed by the enthusiastic staff. The wait times for our food were incredibly short. In the meantime, we had a great time playing in the indoor and outdoor areas. We were allowed to peek into the kitchen, which we really enjoyed! The little one was amazed by what he saw. We will definitely be back!

Good service and tasty pancakes!

I came here for dinner, and my order was taken immediately. The service was excellent and very friendly. I did notice, however, that the staff were frequently corrected in an unfriendly manner, which created a very unpleasant atmosphere. The owners weren't friendly either, but the staff were a different story; they were very friendly. I wouldn't come here again; I personally didn't like the way they treated the staff.

We went here with family, and the atmosphere wasn't very pleasant, which we noticed from the staff. They weren't treated politely by a woman. I'm guessing it was the owner, and it wasn't in a nice way. The service was very friendly and helpful. The staff were very accommodating with allergies. I did notice that the kitchen took a very long time, and I didn't see anyone in the kitchen. The staff had taken good care of us, but I wouldn't come back because of how they were treated.

Once and never again. Poor service. We had to wait a very long time for our order and eventually had to ask for it again. We ended up receiving an incomplete order. Unfriendly staff!! Such a shame.

The restaurant is nicely decorated, the service friendly but not particularly enthusiastic. The food is good but not outstanding.

I disagree with the recent bad reviews. The waitresses are doing a fantastic job, regularly asking if you'd like a drink, etc. The dog was welcome, and that was the first time we went, and it went really well. I'd say experience it for yourself and don't rely on the reviews. Everyone's experience is different.

Had a pleasant experience: - Allergen-free pancakes (gluten-free and/or lactose-free) 👍 - Service-minded: one of our children had a birthday, and they offered a fire fountain on the ice cream. - We love hot chocolate sauce over Dame Blanche, and the waitress arranged this. - Flexibility: our birthday girl received a small gift even though she didn't order a children's menu. In short: it was a pleasant and delicious visit!

Terribly poor service! We had to wait ages for someone to come by, but eventually I had to ask to be inside. It took quite a while after that. You even had to ask for the menu. Absolutely no interest in the guests, and the staff and owner were very unmotivated. If only the pancakes were actually good... but unfortunately, they weren't. The playground was fun for the kids, though.

The staff really ruined our dinner yesterday. They were indifferent and completely devoid of customer service. Questions we asked were difficult. Orders weren't repeated correctly, and even when they were serving, they immediately forgot who had what. Furthermore, we received our food before the cutlery, so for the first few minutes, we could all just stare at our food. They barely asked if we wanted anything else; we had to go and find it ourselves. It's a good thing the littlest children find it so magical here because of the playground; otherwise, I would never have come back. Oh, and as soon as we left the restaurant, we said goodbye two or three times, but there was simply no response... It was truly a sad affair.

While I'm sitting here waiting for someone to finally ask if I want another drink, I have time to type this review. The people who work there don't even bother to look at you, and you have to ask for everything yourself, otherwise you'll still be there in three days. It's really bad, if the food were really good or it was really busy, but neither is the case. And when you ask for a drink yourself, you get nasty looks. Just act normal. We won't be coming back. It's really bad.

A truly terrible experience! The service was subpar, and the order (for 11 people) was only half served/taken (after an hour of waiting!!). One time, never again!!

Such a shame, a dinner out with grandma and grandpa, children, and grandchildren was beyond words. We had to get the menu ourselves, drinks were only taken/remembered for half the table, glasses and plates for the starter weren't collected, and when ordering drinks, no glass was given with our bottle of beer or soft drink... everything showed a lack of insight or self-control. The service staff looked very unfriendly, and plates and glasses were slammed on the table. After an hour and a half of waiting, it was bedtime for the little ones, but their pancake order hadn't "come through." At the end of the day, one person in our group didn't even enjoy a main course because they'd "forgotten." From four families, this could have been a positive review, but no effort was made, so unfortunately... this was a one-time thing, never again. It's a shame for the chef, by the way, because he really did his best, even while serving!

What should have been a fun evening turned into a flop. The service left much to be desired and seemed indifferent. Eight of the eleven people received their orders, three of whom, two children, received nothing. After inquiring for a while, it turned out the children's order hadn't been placed. It later turned out the other person's order hadn't been placed either. After a long wait, the children finally received a pancake. In the end, the third person didn't receive anything at all because their order arrived while everyone else had already finished eating.

We ate at the Pancake Castle today, but the service was frequently wrong. We had to ask three times for a drink that wasn't delivered, and a pancake that wasn't cooked even though we were with a group. There was also a pancake that needed an ingredient removed, but was still there. Mistake after mistake. We won't be back.

Always come here to eat pancakes. Always delicious food and great entertainment for the kids. Nicely set up, especially with the niches where we always like to sit. Unfortunately, we do notice that the service is getting worse. Hence the 3 stars for the service. When it's busy, things are forgotten and plates and drinks are put down on the table quite hard. We also felt quite rushed. Hopefully this will improve in the future.

Great place to eat Dutch pancakes! Love the medieval theme style. The waitress was lovely and very helpful. The food was great, although I do have some doubts about some items on the menu. Especially some 'special pancakes'. I had the classic cheese and bacon. And some bitterballs. If I am in the area next time, I probably eat here again!

The food main course was tasty. The soup was disappointing. We didn't have dessert because the staff was too busy on their mobile phone to take our order. Also unable to order a second drink for this reason. They also didn't come by to ask if it was okay or if we wanted something to drink. This was the last time for us to go here

Fun for the kids, nice space. Acoustics are good, but this is often very annoying in these types of eateries. I don't think I'm a fan of pancakes myself... The rest of the menu is not really attractive. Bread board with starter spreads was very tasty.

The meal was excellent, the dinner dishes (spare ribs and satay) that did not consist of pancakes both tasted very good. The pancakes were also fine, although the court jester was a bit on the salty side. The children had a delicious meal and played wonderfully, allowing the adults to chat in a relaxed manner. Good pancakes, relaxed atmosphere and a great place to eat with (grand)children.

A nice place has been created inside and outside. Also great play area for the children. Unfortunately, it can sometimes take a long time for the food to arrive. The taste of the pancake is also not very good. It's fine, but not particularly good. The children can decorate their own pancake. However, they are allowed to do this in a corner with a lot of decorations and candy. As a result, the children only eat the decorations and sweets. My son hadn't even had a bite of the pancake before he was already full from the sweets. I would therefore advise you to bring the pancake to the table together with a small bowl of decorations and sweets. So that the children don't eat anything else instead of the pancake. After all, you come there for the pancakes.

Pancakes tasted fantastic! The decoration is nice, but still lacks a bit of 'gemutlichkeit'. The fact that the chairs make a lot of noise on the hard stone floor doesn't help, the acoustics don't seem good.

Delicious food in a nice location. The prices are reasonable, the service is fast and friendly and the taste is great. You can easily look into the kitchen and have quick contact with the chefs. We will come back again

Pork tenderloin satay was bone dry and burnt black, tried to disguise this with the sauce. Fries were lukewarm. Satay sent back, but it was on the receipt. Gluten-free pancake was undercooked. In between the dishes were not cleared properly. After dessert the table was full of bottles, there were 8 of us. When new bottles of drinks were brought, the empty ones were not taken. The coffee cups from before dinner also remained there the entire time. It was raining cats and dogs, no one can do anything about that, but we were with 3 young children, 5, 5 and 8 years old. The indoor playground is for toddlers....... when my granddaughter asked for drawing supplies after dessert, it turned out that they have very nice placemats for coloring. Why not just give it directly to the children if they can't go outside. Just not thinking properly..... Decorating the pancakes yourself for the children was also disappointing. I expected some fruit and savory toppings, but there were only bins full of wine gums and smarties. The 2nd pancake was heated in the microwave. Not a problem in itself, but the plates were piping hot. My grandson wanted to decorate his pancake, but couldn't hold the plate. How much effort is it to put a reheated pancake on another plate before taking it to a child. There is no thinking. This shows little interest for customers. We will definitely never come again!

Very rude how they treat people

Spontaneously walked in. We were treated kindly by the nice staff. The food arrived quickly.

Staff was inexperienced but friendly. Management was downright rude. The food is very mediocre for what it costs. Especially the food for the kids. A childrens size pancake is about the size of a coaster (10cm in diameter) and costs nearly as much as an adult size pancake. When we asked if the kitchen maybe made a mistake we were informed by the manager that all children's pancakes are that size. She was overall very confrontational and rude. We were very uncomfortable with how we were addressed and surprised by the lack of professionalism.

Unhelpful staff. The children's pancake was the size of a beer mat, when we indicated that we thought it was very poor for 6.50 euros, it was waved away as if that was a very normal size. My suggestion to the Pannenkoekenburcht would be to take its customers more seriously. We will definitely not come back here.

Ambience of the restaurant is good. Service could be better, had to ask for the menu ourselves. Waiting for someone to come took a while, but food came quickly. Pancakes Nutella were lukewarm/cold, you get a pancake with 2 tubs of Nutella placed on it, which you can then spread on yourself. So it was a bit disappointing.. shawarma pancake was fine. The waffle with cherries was highly recommended. The restaurant is pricey for what you get.

Pancake menu booked via Social Deal. You will only get the discount they promise if you keep an eye on what you order (in terms of price). The bread board consists of 2 baked rolls, a bowl of herb butter and some ailoli. You pay €7.50 for this (without Social Deal). The pancakes were decent, but not as good as you would expect from "a Pancake Castle". I can do this at home too. In short, a nice location, but I will certainly not return there for a pancake.

A star is the least we can choose. This one star is absolutely not for the restaurant, but we give it to the girl at the service who was allowed to apologize every time for everything that went wrong. -The terribly long wait. (2 o'clock) -the dirty food -the replacement food which would also take a very long time -ordered drinks that did not arrive -the cold pancakes -the toppings we would still be waiting for if we hadn't asked the table next to us for their toppings. -and finally the treasure chest where the children could pick something out contained bombs. To our dismay, one of those bags burst while we were sorting it out and the liquid got on my daughter's skin, causing a burning/itching feeling. No idea if there is a different owner, but it is definitely not what we were used to from this restaurant.

Had a pleasant evening. Delicious food, the spare ribs were buttery soft, the pork tenderloin just right. And the children enjoyed the pancakes. The service was friendly and polite after taking the order. The play corner is based on smaller children.

A nice day with the family ended with a dinner, even though we had not made a reservation, we were able to have a large table prepared for us. The staff was friendly. The food was delicious. Price-quality ratio was excellent. We will definitely go there again if we are in the area. 👍

Delicious pancakes, wide choice. Friendly staff. What is a big plus for us is that our daughter with Celiac disease can eat here safely. They have gluten-free batter and take cross-contamination into account. If desired, you will receive a new bottle of syrup and can of icing sugar. A small downside is that it can sometimes be a bit chilly, depending on where you sit.

It's a boring place to eat out. They have done their best to make it pleasant, but it lacks atmosphere. Some music in the background would have been nice and I think it would enhance the atmosphere. For now it was a one-off.

We thought the pancakes tasted a bit flat. Not completely cooked either. The driveway and parking lot were filthy, sloppy with lots of deep holes. Something must be done about this quickly, it will cost your shock absorbers.

Leuk om met kinderen naar toe te gaan: leuke speelplek en pannenkoeken en ijsjes versieren. Aan het eind mogen ze een klein cadeautje uitzoeken. Onze uitsmijter en brood met kroketten waren ook goed.

Erg gezellig voor de hele familie, leuk personeel en lekker eten!

En mooie plek om met jonge kinderen te gaan eten. Op een aantal plaatsen staat een ridder. Dat vonden de kids toch wel spannend. Na afloop mochten ze iets leuks uitzoeken in de schatkamer. Heel spannend en leuk

We bestelden twee pannenkoeken: Jonkvrouw en de Bokkenrijder. Ze waren beiden weinig smaakvol en te dik .Net of ze niet gaar waren. Het fruit op de Jonkvrouw was nauwelijks te proeven en de andere pannenkoek lag mij erg zwaar op de maag. Dit hebben we ook verteld aan de bediening. Die vingen onze kritiek goed op. Dat was fijn.

Lekker plekje om met de kinderen wat te eten. Speelgelegenheid zowel binnen als buiten aanwezig. Attente bediening en lekkere pannenkoeken!

Onverwacht uit eten, heerlijk gegeten met 4 volwassenen en 2 kinderen. Voor glutenvrij ook aan te raden, kok Cor denkt actief mee en heeft een heerlijk diner geserveerd, bedankt. De porties waren prima, kinderen kunnen zelf hun pannenkoeken en ijs versieren wat een feestje

Crêpes très bonnes et un paradis pour les enfants

Het duurde lang voordat we eten kregen. Het eten was ook weinig voor de prijs. Bediening wel vriendelijk en onervaren. Wel een leuke speeltuin voor de kinderen.

Prima eten/pannenkoeken echter wel aan de prijs. Met twee kinderen en twee volwassen betaalden we meer dan 65 euro.

Helaas was er geen plaats zonder reservering was een terleurstelling

Met zes volwassenen en twee kleine kinderen gegeten. Pannenkoeken smaakten allemaal goed. We hadden voor drie uur gereserveerd, jammer genoeg waren we de enige gasten toen wij weg gingen om vijf uur druppelende er meer gasten binnen. Terwijl volgens zeggen alle tafels gereserveerd waren en we dus niet buiten onder de parasols konden zitten. Wat dus eigenlijk makkelijk had gekund. Dat was wel jammer.

Geweldig restaurant, fantastisch personeel en heerlijk eten, zeker een aanrader en heel kindvriendelijk.

Leuke tent en de pannenkoeken zijn goed. Personeel is ook aardig richting de klant.
