So, it's a pancake house, and that's what you should eat here; you can't get anything else. Therefore, 3 stars. I'd give my schnitzel 1 star, but my wife liked the pancake, so 3 points as an average.

We were there for dinner today. Even though there was no salad on the menu, they conjured up a very tasty salad with chicken for us. The service was also very friendly.

The food was delicious, the service was excellent, and it tasted great too – definitely worth a visit if you're in the area. The mill actually still powers the internal mechanism; impressive!

A disappointment. After 40 minutes without our pancakes, we were told that we had been forgotten. We preferred to eat somewhere else.

Not nice, you have to order and pay with a QR code, very impersonal. If you want coffee or ice cream, you think, forget it, the person who brings the pancake doesn't speak Dutch, it's a shame, it used to be a nice place.

We initially went here to eat. We had our doubts as soon as we walked in. Instead of helping us lift the stroller, the waitress almost walked us over. After ordering our drinks (it wasn't clear what language the staff spoke), we looked at the menu and decided to order. When the same waitress from before came with our drinks and set them down in a very rude and unfriendly manner, we decided against it. Furthermore, our 3-year-old son would have liked a straw with his apple juice. The waitress said she would bring one. The straw is probably still on backorder. We stuck to the drinks and will never return. The name could be changed to "de Slappe Hap" (The Slappy Bites).

The Pannekoekenhus opens at 11 a.m., but you can't order food until 12 p.m. We opted for pancakes. They were delicious and looked great. We ordered the classic style with cherries or strawberries. We also ordered Nutella. The menu has many options, both sweet and savory. We would eat there again. The weather was great, and we sat outside. Being in the middle of the pedestrian zone is also a good thing. There's always something going on, or a musician might drive by. That shortened the wait for our food. The small shopping streets all around are also lovely.

We were there last weekend. The food itself was really delicious. The service was moderately friendly to slightly unfriendly. We were shown to a table where the sticky edges of the glasses from the guests before us were still on the plate. The entire dining room was empty. Unfortunately, no one even thought it necessary to quickly wipe them down. It's a shame, because otherwise it was really delicious.

0 stars. Very poor service. The backyard is a disaster. We waited 1 hour 45 minutes for 4 pancakes. The batter was raw. One pancake was completely forgotten. I can't recommend it to anyone. Most of the negative reviews speak for themselves. We left at 8:20 p.m. without eating.

We enjoyed a delicious pancake on the terrace in the afternoon. The only downside was that we found it a bit odd when the first person at the table finished their meal and their plate was immediately cleared while everyone else was still eating.

A bar with a great atmosphere, perfect for a drink. The terrace behind it is very quiet. Wait times are a bit long.

Ordered a pancake with fruit and ice cream at this pancake house. The wait was 27 minutes during off-peak hours. The pancake was slightly burnt on the bottom. The digital menu shows two scoops of ice cream in the product photo, but only one scoop was delivered. Coffee from a fully automatic machine. The relaxed atmosphere in the downtown pedestrian zone is worth mentioning.

We had a really good and cozy meal here. Besides pancakes, they also had a few excellent meat dishes on the menu. Delicious beer (wide selection) on tap! The service was excellent. A great place to eat in picturesque Ouddorp.

The food was quite good and took about 20 minutes. It's essentially a self-service restaurant. Ordering and payment are done via QR code (also possible without a phone in an emergency). The backyard terrace is unkempt, and the front is a classic tourist street. Real Dutch is different. Visited due to lack of alternatives.

We were here on Friday evening. We made a reservation online in advance. But it would have been possible without a reservation. There were still plenty of seats available outside. I don't know what the inside was like. We received a very friendly welcome. The drinks arrived quickly, and the food we ordered arrived 20 minutes later. We chose a pancake with apple and bacon and poffertjes. Both were of good quality and tasted good. The price/performance ratio is very good. You can sit in the sun or in the shade under trees and parasols.

Wir wurden sehr freundlich begrüßt. Die Getränke kamen schnell. Und das bestellte Essen 20 Minuten später. Wir haben uns für einen Pfannkuchen mit Apfel und Speck (9.95 EUR) und für Poffertjes (6.25 EUR) entschieden. Beides war von guter Qualität und hat gut geschmeckt. Preis Leistung sind sehr gut. Man kann in der Sonne sitzen oder im Schatten unter Bäumen und Sonnenschirmen.

Together we had schnitzel and spicy chicken with a beer and a soft drink. The schnitzel was reasonable and the spicy chicken too. For the price it was fine. Nice sitting on the terrace in the sun. The restaurant also has an inner garden. All in all a reasonable location to eat something.

Over 45 minutes of waiting time for 5 pancakes, and when I reordered, only half arrived. The pancakes were delicious. But the prices are definitely too high. What a shame...

Rarely had such a bad experience What a disappointment. We came out for dinner with six people, but it seemed like we were more of a nuisance than welcome. Three of the pancakes were simply not cooked. One of them was replaced after complaining, but the new one turned out to be even rawer - almost inedible. My father-in-law had to wait the longest for his food, while the rest had been sitting at the table for a long time. When we finally all had our food, my mother-in-law and sister-in-law had already finished. And as if that wasn't enough, the waitress started to take their plates away, while half the table was still eating. Incredibly rude. To make matters worse, my bonus child also got a stomach ache afterwards, probably from that half-cooked pancake. All in all: poor quality, excruciatingly long waiting time, and a waitress who would rather take away plates than pay attention to her guests. In any case, we will never come back here.

We had another delicious meal here tonight. The pancakes were very tasty. If the service had asked us in between if we wanted another drink, we would have done so. That was a missed opportunity for them.

Went with the kids today. (Saturday afternoon/evening) The table was still dirty from the previous diners. Service spoke very poor Dutch. Children's pancake, normal size with 2 pieces of apple, 1 piece of pineapple and 4 raisins. Unfortunately, it was not indicated anywhere that they put fruit on it, which is useful if you have allergies, after indicating the only answer was: YES. 2nd drink still to come, paid and got dessert somewhere else. This was once and never again!

The pancake house in Ouddorp is not recommended. The waiter forgot our order.

Today we had dinner here with 4 people. After ordering the starter, it was said after about fifteen minutes that half of them were not present. So I ordered something else. The table still had to be cleared after the starter, of which we thought the soup came from a can, and the pancakes already arrived. One pancake was not delivered properly and had to be re-fried. The result was that 3 people had already finished and 1 person had to eat alone. Unfortunately no compensation offered. Only when we expressed our dissatisfaction were the drinks removed from the bill. I told the staff that I don't blame them personally, but that a company can do something to uphold its name when things go so wrong.

Disappointment! Food very mediocre. Spicy chicken that was not spicy but rather burnt and dry, the fries were way too salty, I left them out, ordered white bread and you got brown, not once asked if everything was to your liking or if we wanted something to drink. And it wasn't even busy. Service was not unfriendly or anything, but seemed completely inexperienced. In our case, not the flat bite but the weak bite. It's a shame because it's quite a nice thing.

Reserved for 2 people on Tuesday evening at 6 p.m. We were the only customers at the time. As a starter we ordered baguette with herb butter. Bread was fresh and nice and crunchy. The last bite had not yet been swallowed and the pancakes were already placed on the table. I ordered number 65 but received number 56. The fault lay with the clerk who spoke virtually no Dutch. Too bad, but no problem, I made it and ate it. My husband still wanted a pancake but could not order anymore but the kitchen was already closed. It was then 6:30 PM. The restaurant is open until 8:00 PM on Tuesdays according to the site. We have never finished eating so quickly in a restaurant.

We arrived at 6pm and were told the kitchen was closed. According to their website, the kitchen is open until 7 p.m. and the restaurant until 8 p.m. Therefore the food and ambience cannot be rated. However, the service is substandard. We can only hope that a decent restaurant will be opened after the bankruptcy.

We came to Ouddorp again a week ago and wanted to visit the pancake house. There was a large pile of dog excrement in front of the entrance, right next to the display. Today, after a week, we wanted to try again, but the same pile was still there! And that's BESIDES the display and the dog waterers. If you can't put it away within a week, what will it look like in the store? No thanks! PS: After 2 weeks the pile is still in place.

The pancakes were good but unfortunately our order was forgotten and we had to wait over an hour for our pancakes after ordering. Other guests who ordered after us finished eating before we got our salad. Even after we asked, we still had to wait over 20 minutes. There wasn't even an apology or anything like that.

Waited for a very long time (over 1 hour), both for us and for other guests, there were many incorrect deliveries, also due to language barriers. My pancake was a bit very black on the back. When I asked the person who was apparently responsible about it (I had to go into the building to pay because no one tried to go to our table after dinner and it was no longer possible to order more drinks), he said that it can happen and, of course, collected the entire amount Sum. We won't come again.

Food was borderline. Pancakes burnt and half cooked at the same time. Poffertjes watery. The glasses came dirty. Cutlery was dirty. The toilet was dirty - no paper, no soap. Service was ok.

The service was friendly, and the value for money for the savory pancakes was certainly good. Although the waiting time was a bit longer, we did not find this disturbing. The food tasted delicious.

It was not an ultimate experience for us. More than half of the children's pancake was overcooked. The idea of ​​a face was nice, but it made half of the pancake unappetizing. The other pancakes tasted good, but we were served 1 pancake when the rest at the table had already been eaten. So the timing of preparing 4 pancakes (of which 2 regular pancakes and 2 children's pancakes) did not go well. How do you do this with a larger group, we wondered? And finally, we missed a play corner. This was solved with colors at the table and a small gift for the kids with which they still had a nice ending.

I had tried to place our order using the QR code at the table. The payment process didn't work properly and after three attempts I ordered directly from the waiter. I had told him that I had tried using the QR code. Unfortunately he wasn't interested and ended up cashing in cash. I later saw that my account had been debited three times(!) for the same order. I tried several times to clarify the issue by email. I called and after a friendly conversation I was told that they would take care of it, but nothing has happened to date. So, I can only advise against ordering or stopping by using this QR code. Technical errors can happen, but if you can't trust that it will be taken care of afterwards, then in my opinion that says a lot: you can't trust this shop.

Unfortunately I can't say anything positive. 1.) Order took an hour 2.) Ordered 5 pancakes, 2 were delivered incorrectly 3.) Dough was not tasty and not cooked through 4.) Hearty, greasy pancakes with sweet dough don't work at all!

I got a chicken and rice menu. It was big and the sauce on the chicken was quite good. However they have extremely slow service. It took 1 hour and 5 minutes to get a single meat menu. And it's not just me. Everyone around me had similar issues.

A hair on my pancake... The waiter who does not speak Dutch and was standing with 3 pancakes and was laughing sheepishly not knowing what to do. Hence the four stars. The pancakes were delicious and the staff friendly!

We settled on the terrace, ordering is impersonal via a QR code, the dirty glasses from the predecessors were still on the table and had not been cleaned up. We ordered a waffle with whipped cream and strawberries, this was a ready-made sugar waffle from the supermarket. It was put on the table without cutlery and before drinking, we just got the cutlery ourselves. Person is also not friendly.

You have to order using a QR code. If you do that, you will still receive the order of the person in front of you, so that is not convenient. Ordering with the QR code is difficult and before you see someone they are already asking for an extra tip for the person. Supposedly good service, they are quite rude here and give the wrong drinks, but if you say you ordered something else they say oops. We ordered a cecemel with a straw and received a Fanta and only then did they arrive. We don't have a cecemel and I didn't understand it properly. If you have half a day you could order here.
