The staff was friendly. They helped find a suitable table for two children. The food was served quickly, but unfortunately, the bottom of the children's pancake was completely burnt. Unfortunately, we only discovered this while eating. The amount of strawberries on the children's pancake was good, though. Very nice play area for the little ones. Recommended. An extra light could be hung up though, as it is quite dark.

after previous less than stellar experiences, today was really very okay the service was correct, friendly and cheerful and the pastries were tasty it was extremely quiet (maybe that makes a difference)

We found the waitress distant and unfriendly.

Our visit was on September 3rd, in the early afternoon. The only positive thing about our dinner was the food itself: excellent pancakes! But the waitstaff, atmosphere, and service... Grumpy staff just sitting out their time (saying this to each other in the presence of customers), not being friendly, and adopting a nonchalant attitude. The woman with the black ponytail and deep voice is rude and rude; she also keeps an eye on you. Incidentally, for unclear reasons, we were not allowed to sit at the back near the children's play area so that our little one could play there under supervision. This restaurant is absolutely not recommended. The owner consistently responds that they are going to speak to the staff about this, but judging by other reviews, addressing the issue does not lead to the desired result.

We had a delicious meal and the food tasted good. Unfortunately, our experience was pretty much ruined by the staff. We found the service very unfriendly and not very hospitable. It is a shame, because with friendly and attentive staff, our experience could have been much more pleasant. The food deserves compliments, but there is still much room for improvement in terms of service.

Lots of choice (more than 250 pancakes!), food was on the table quickly, the staff are friendly, and it is not expensive.

We came here for the first time with our little daughter. She enjoyed herself. The pancakes were delicious. There is also a play area and children can choose from a few types of stuffed animals. The staff was friendly and helpful. See you next time.

The reception was anything but friendly. I think the two young women with bright red lipstick are already looking forward to retirement. There isn't a smile to be seen; everything is dumped in front of you without a word, and any words they do speak are barked at disparagingly. Inside, it smells like people are smoking after closing time. Children are yelled at if they walk through the walkway near the kitchen, yet they have fabricated the play area in a narrow walkway right next to the kitchen. Compliments to the cheerful young man who helped us pick out the surprise for the little ones. Among the waitstaff in the black T-shirts, he was the only friendly face walking around. He, too, was yelled at by the two ladies, by the way. He actually deserves a better job. Not worth repeating for us, even though the pancakes were delicious; the staff did really create a nice atmosphere.

We just walked in this afternoon and ate with five people. The pancakes are well-filled and nicely cooked. I had the one with sauerkraut myself; surprisingly tasty, I will definitely come back for this. Highly recommended.

First of all, I want to mention that the lady with the long black ponytail was terribly unfriendly and rude to us. The rest of the staff was incredibly friendly and hospitable. The food and drinks were brought to the table super fast. The food was also of good quality. Although the food was delicious, that one hostess really ruined our visit! I hope for future guests that this will change.

What a terrible place, just left after our 1st drink, the table next to us was complaining about the food, we ourselves were already annoyed by the woman (you can't call her a hostess) she was already plocking the drinks onto a filthy table, we had to ask the friendly young man to clean it, he cleaned the middle of the table with a soaking wet cloth (with the remark, that will dry up) paid quickly and left this dirty place, visited the toilet briefly (oh no, not really, too dirty to go there) do something about the hospitality and hygiene! I'm sure that would get regular customers instead of day tourists. Short-sighted politics! For info (added later) the Woman was the woman listed below as 50+ with black hair and tattoos was also our favorite ;-)

Good flavor and quick to prepare

For a child-friendly restaurant, I found the service very surly. I have been working in service for several years myself; I shouldn't have to act this way towards guests. A smile is enough. We did eventually receive quick service, though. The cappuccino was tasty! The pancakes were quite heavy on the stomach. The waffle with strawberries is definitely recommended!

On the evening of the visit, the staff clearly had no intention of working, even though it wasn't even busy. Our table was not set, meaning our children didn't receive a coloring page, while others did. Slow service, unwillingness to come by for a second round of drinks, and the privilege of paying was delayed for a long time. The crayon bar was also served slowly. The food was good, but the service bar was bad. I won't be coming back.

Highly recommended. Even though the pancakes are more like pizzas, they are incredibly delicious. The waiter is very friendly and funny. Almost everyone speaks near-perfect German.

We were served quite quickly and didn't have to wait long for our pancake either. It tasted very good (pancake with bacon and cheese) and wasn't too greasy. I found the dessert (coupe with ice cream, strawberries, and whipped cream) a bit too big; as far as I'm concerned, a smaller version would have been better.

The taste doesn't match the price. The pancake with Nutella only came with two mini Nutella packets, and it was burnt. All in all, almost €50 for two pancakes, a large water, and an espresso.

Very nice restaurant for the children, absolutely amazing, and the food is delicious too. To top it all off, you can also stay overnight – absolutely fantastic. Definitely recommended!

We had no problems with the food. It was served quickly and was good, but not great. Interesting creations. The service was inconsistent; not everyone was equally attentive. To be fair: there were sometimes quite annoying guests, to whom the staff adapted accordingly.

Friendly staff and very tasty pancakes

We had been sitting there for about 15 minutes and the grumpy waitress had seen us long ago. But we were completely ignored! So we walked away grumbling. Highly not recommended.

People, you shouldn't go here! It is absolutely not hygienic here. I got a glass with all kinds of brown stuff in it (probably from the dishwasher and food scraps). The food was also absolutely inedible, and a waitress with long black hair, tattoos, and in her mid-50s or so looked disgusting at the customers the whole time and was just disrespectful. I really don't understand why you hire people like that.

First, someone who worked here threw a glass of beer over my leg; he was sitting amidst screaming people. (He couldn't even manage an apology!) The word 'cancer' was used at least 100 times in 5 minutes, and they were smoking like crazy. We went to sit somewhere else. There were pieces of bone in the chicken pancake. The only plus point is the boy who helped us!

I have never been served such bad pancakes in my life, with the cutlery stuck under the pancakes, no napkins, and no syrup or sugar either!! Please change the name to Pancake Misery, because these pancakes have nothing to do with craftsmanship!!

I normally don't write reviews, but I still want to share our experience. No friendly welcome and uninterested service. Fast service, though. The pancakes were disappointing: wrong order taken, the new ones had barely melted cheese (because they made them quickly for us...) and were of mediocre quality (texture was more like an omelet, not to our taste). We did receive new pancakes after giving feedback, but their reaction made us feel almost obligated. The low point was an employee who went to the toilet wearing gloves, then “washed” them and went back to work; very unhygienic and unacceptable. We left the restaurant feeling nauseous; we won't be returning.

We ate here with a large group. Unfortunately, it took a while for everyone to be served. The pancake was okay. Personally, I think the prices are too high. A few euros less would be reasonable.

The pancake itself was tasty, but the chicken had a lot of nasty, hard bits in it… The cutlery was incredibly filthy and old, and the thought of how many people had already eaten with it and how poorly it was washed really ruined our appetite. I mentioned it, but the response was lukewarm, which means the same cutlery will still be used there in 10 years 🥴 We won't be coming back. The service was otherwise friendly. The restaurant needed a refresh anyway. Dirty teddy bears and toys everywhere, and sticky tables and floors.

Delicious, large, and beautifully decorated pancakes. Huge selection from savory to sweet. They also offer soups and ice cream. Very child-friendly; to keep them occupied while they waited, they provided a sheet of paper and crayons for puzzles and coloring. The children's pancakes came with "Kleuros" (plastic chips) which the kids could use to choose a toy from the on-site shop after their meal.

The service (especially the woman with the black hair and long nails) could have been more attentive. The food was okay, but the salad was partially wilted, and other aspects could have been improved.

It was the first time I ate at this restaurant and I became a fan because everything was 5 stars. I will definitely return, and they also have accommodation.

Unfortunately, my experience was disappointing. Although we were greeted enthusiastically by a friendly young man, the atmosphere was otherwise unpleasant. Our order was taken by a woman who seemed curt and uninterested. After a long wait (which I understand, considering how busy it was), the pancakes arrived. They were very thick and rubbery, which was disappointing. At checkout, there was a long line. The young man who had greeted us kindly earlier was behind the counter, helping a large group who were having trouble paying. His colleague, the same woman who had taken our order earlier, became visibly irritated and spoke to him at that moment. He was spoken negatively about in front of customers, being dismissed as "worthless." This made for an awkward situation. However, I do want to mention one positive point: you were allowed to bring your bike inside and park it in a separate area, so it wasn't on the street. This was well-organized. The waiting time, the disappointing quality of the food and the way the staff was treated made this an unpleasant experience for me.

The waitress who served us was incredibly rude. The other staff members were friendly, but this woman really ruined our evening with her insolent manner towards everyone. The food itself was tasty, but the pancake wasn't cooked through, still a bit runny in places, and very thin. The coffee didn't taste good, and the glasses weren't completely clean.

We arrived at the terrace to have a drink before our visit with our dog (a miniature Kees). He barked a few times because it was so busy. Suddenly, the waiter came outside, yelling at the entire terrace, asking us to get lost with our dog because a "customer" was paying with a complaint. We hadn't been treated so rudely in 40 years! Other customers even told us not to spend another cent there and left. A rude lout, a real disgrace, because we were customers too, and a little courtesy was due. As an animal lover, I would never spend a cent there. Truly the rudest person I've ever met. Our dog has noticeably better manners!

Nice pancake restaurant. When we visit Valkenburg, we usually enjoy pancakes here. Plenty of choices and reasonably priced. Despite the crowds, we were seated quite peacefully. The service was very fast and friendly. Everything looked well-organized. Both drinks and food were served within a reasonable timeframe.

More like Pannenkoeken Purgatory. For a place that specialises in pancakes, it was rather disappointing. The pancakes were both overcooked and undercooked at the same time. Not enough toppings either. As for my soup, it was too salty and the bread was so thin, I thought that I only had ham.

Very unfriendly staff. It started with the wrong drink, which happens. They gave me a new one without saying a word, so I figured it would be alright. The pancake was soggy, the edges were very dark, and it just had no flavor. Not good value for money. I definitely don't recommend eating here.

Before eating, there are art supplies at the table, and each child receives coins with their meal, which they can use to choose a toy from a small shop. There's a large playroom with climbing frames for older children and toddlers, soft building blocks, and XXL interlocking blocks. The service is good and the food is delicious. There's also a diaper changing facility. The only thing that was a bit unpleasant was the condition of the playroom and the musty smell.

We had a wonderful time at Pannenkoeken Paradijs Cauberg! The terrace is a lovely place to sit, and the staff is incredibly friendly. When we wanted to order, a staff member pointed out that there were a lot of wasps outside at the time. She really helped us and immediately offered to set up a table inside so we could eat in peace and quiet – very thoughtful! The menu is extensive, with something for everyone. The presentation of the pancakes is beautiful; a real treat on your plate. We also love the concept where children receive coins with their pancake to exchange for toys; it makes the experience extra fun for the little ones.

Unfriendly staff, and even though they saw our glasses were empty, they never came back to ask if we wanted anything else. We didn't eat there for the reasons mentioned above, but what we saw didn't look appealing either.

The staff was friendly. But that's about it. The pancakes we received were of very poor quality, comparable to a piece of semi-edible plastic. The cheese and mushrooms had no flavor; on the other hand, the bacon was so salty that by the end, you'd have consumed well over triple your daily recommended amount. We can only assume the pancake came straight from a machine. Fortunately—and rightly so—the prices weren't exorbitantly high. In short (if it wasn't already clear), we wouldn't recommend this restaurant to anyone.

We were here for lunch on Monday. My daughter wanted to have poffertjes (Dutch pancakes). She ended up choosing the strawberry version. A normal portion with a generous handful of strawberries. Ditto for my friend. The pancake (bacon and cheese) was also delicious. The only thing really missing from the tables was powdered sugar. They do have syrup. The service was excellent. The prices were also reasonable.

Pancake paradise. A bit chaotic, but cozy. We were asked three times if we wanted to order anything while waiting for our main course. The pancakes were warm, not really hot. Otherwise, they were tasty. One appetizer arrived minutes later than the other two dishes. A shame.

Unfriendly service. We were still looking for a table for five people and wanted to ask if we could possibly connect tables. Before we knew it, a grumpy employee showed up and immediately said, "They don't push tables together, ABSOLUTELY NOT!" We then had a nice meal somewhere else, and it was delicious.
