The staff was friendly and welcoming, and the food was delicious and plentiful. The terrace/indoors were also quite full, and there were many people there who weren't new to the place, so that speaks volumes.

Wow, you have to be here. We received such a warm welcome and then enjoyed a delicious meal at a very affordable price. So if you're in front of this restaurant, don't hesitate! Walk in, sit down, and indulge in the delicious food.

Wonderfully friendly and welcoming staff. We've been coming here for years. The food is always perfect. Plenty of delicious and fresh food. Highly recommended. Great dishes for children. Dogs are welcome on the patio, but NOT inside. Tip: make reservations in advance.

Delicious food, generous portions for a good price, and you could help yourself to unlimited salads. The staff were very friendly and welcoming, and they were very considerate of the baby and dog who were with us. Top-notch service!

Sorry, but 50 euros for canned vegetables and sauce from a package or from the couple's menu for us??? Meat Sava still right. No, it's the biggest disappointment in recent years. My wife can do better! Just because it's a competition to be the cheapest there, doesn't mean they have to serve bad food. Send in a food inspector. Man, oh man.

We had dinner tonight, the staff were super friendly and helpful right away. We only had a short wait for our food. We ordered a skewer, and one piece of steak was still quite raw and tough. I mentioned it, and we promptly received a super tender and delicious steak instead. What fantastic service! Definitely highly recommended and worth eating here.

The table grilling is a nice concept, but the quality is poor. The meat in the containers didn't look fresh, and the soup plates were dirty. A baguette with herb butter, well, a simple baguette, a simple roll. The toilet wasn't clean either, and you had to dry your hands with napkins. We definitely won't be coming back.

Richi's Steakhouse. A fantastic steakhouse right in the center of Valkenburg. I've been here twice and ordered the grilled pork tenderloin. It was incredibly good. Perfectly cooked, perfectly seasoned. The restaurant has friendly, fast service, and a cozy atmosphere. The pork tenderloin is definitely recommended.

The menu looked good but the food was poor. The soups served as starters were way below the local standard and the Steaks - which had all four been asked for as specific cooking all came up the same and overdone. The meat itself was clearly of inferior quality and the sauce served with it was awful. All the other restaurants we ate in around over four days were excellent but this stood out as the most expensive and one to avoid.

We dined here and not only was the food delicious but plentiful. Didi, the owner and our server, was kind, generous, and funny. Two members of our group have celiac and had a lot of options. Didi was so attentive. If you are in Valkenburg, you must dine here.

The seating was pleasant, and the service was hospitable and good. Three-course menu for €19.95. Definitely recommended.

Was a busy summer day where unfortunately ordering drinks took a very long time. Something went wrong with the food. But perfectly solved by the owner and his daughter.

Had a great evening. Good food and unlimited BBQ at the table. Delicious meat. Also an extensive salad buffet. And that for a reasonable price. You can also order A la carte. The staff is super friendly and nothing is too much for them. Really worth it if you are looking for coziness and good food.

We went here to eat and not all the meat was good. For this price 27.95 you can really expect better. The hamburger is too cheap. Spareribs were not tasty and were not marinated. The sausage was dry and very simple. And the service was very bad. They did not ask in between if it tasted good and if we wanted something else to drink. I would advise you not to go here. Waste of your money. I did not stop eating completely satisfied because it was so disappointing. I did order a dame blanche because the price is low 7 euros. But yes that was also noticeable when I ate it. They also did not ask if it tasted good when I paid.

Eaten here more often but the last time we didn't really like the meat, the quality was poor, pieces of steak dried out in the pans and the rest wasn't great either. Soggy fries etc.

Wat een tegenvaller was dit restaurant. De soep smaakte niet vers. De tomatensoep was dik en zoet(?), de groente in de groentesoep erg doorgekookt. De friet was slap en meelderig. De salade een hoopje ijsberg sla met een of ander ondefinieerbaar sausje erover heen. De schnitzel al net zo smakeloos, en niet krokant. Het enige lekkere waren zowel de koffie als het roomijs met slagroom van het dessert. Kosten van dit dagmenu €19,95 + €2,- voor een sausje bij de schnitzel. Elk ander restaurant in dit leuke straatje serveert lekkerder eten.

The day before yesterday we had a table BBQ. We thought it would be really nice. It was mediocre.. Meat was not replenished. And the tomato soup was almost finished and caked. And the vegetable soup was broom and broom salt!! As if they had thrown a kilo of salt through it. We will not be coming back here...

Great steaks, nothing wrong with them

Super vriendelijk personeel. Eten was niet slecht maar zeker niet top. We hebben Ritchi's mixed grill genomen. De groenten erbij waren te schandalig voor in een restaurant op te dienen. Het zijn Wortelen uit pot of blik. Zoiets geef je niet in restaurant. De broodjes waren te donker gekleurd. Vlees viel wel mee. Frieten waren heel lekker

I've had a good experience here for five years, but the medium rare was overcooked, the cappuccino was coffee with sparkling milk...they blamed the coffee machine...how stupid are you...to even talk about customer service. It's not even worth one star. I'll never go back. Yes, it's cheap, but...quality...never again!!!!!!

A delicious meal for a low price. We had schnitzel with mushroom cream sauce and a mixed grilled cheese, including fries and a baguette with herb butter. We also chose from the salad bar. It came with a bitter lemon and a Skuimkoppe, and to finish, ice cream with eggnog. All for less than €60. The service was friendly and welcoming. Special mention goes to the blonde girl with the sweetest smile ever. She waited by your table until you looked at her to ask if everything was good, up to three times. We had a wonderful evening with delicious food in a beautiful setting. Thank you, Valkenburg, and especially Ritchi Grill House.

Friendly owner who knew who we were when we walked in. We had reserved for the bbq at the table this afternoon. Wide choice of meats, salads, vegetables and sauces. Tasty wine and also a choice of different types of beer. Friendly restaurant, waiter came by regularly to ask if everything was still to your liking. Will definitely come back here! Definitely worth 5 stars.

Bediening vriendelijk maar eten was echt onder de maat hadden een drie gangen menu....groentesoep bestond alleen uit overgare groente blokjes zonder gehaktballetjes tomatensoep heel basic Schnitzel vlak van smaak en totaal geen krokant laagje rondom Nagerecht twee simpele bolletjes ijs met veel teveel slagroom de smaak daarvan was meer lucht en werd het een hele vette hap Niet voor herhaling vatbaar en zeker geen aanrader voor wie echt lekker wil eten

Went to Valkenburg for a few days, came across this steakhouse and decided to have the table BBQ in the evening Highly recommended, lots of choice of meat sauces and the salad bar. It was so delicious that we reserved a 3-course dinner the next day This was also very well prepared and delicious. Staff was very friendly and helpful and neat, they even remembered my name the next day. We will definitely eat there again next visit.

Delicious food in the heart of Valkenburg. A casual atmosphere. Soup in advance and then choose from 8 types of meat that you can prepare yourself on a grill built into the table.

Food was very tasty, but the burgers and spareribs were seriously substandard (frozen junk). Service was friendly. If they made the burgers themselves, it would be a big improvement.

Ate with family, unlimited BBQ. Friendly staff! Pepsi ☹️ It's nice, but I find the choice and quality of meat/side dishes a bit poor. Buffet is well replenished. Very cozy with plenty of space. The interior is quite dated. Minimal lighting, difficult to see if your meat is done. Great: a pan and a bowl of batter for the children to bake a pancake for everyone, which was appreciated! Also had a large bowl of fries and they were tasty. Good baguette and herb butter and unlimited supply. There is really something to be gained by having more and better choices on the buffet (no pre-cooked hamburgers, marinated steaks, or bacon rashers). And Pepsi out, that's always easy to score points 😁

We should have known in advance that we could not expect much for 26 euros per person. But curious about the BBQ concept, we wanted to try it. However, everything was quite basic. Salad bar very simple, baguettes were literally baked-off sandwiches. 3 types of vegetables. Enough types of meat. But the burgers came from the freezer. Chicken legs and spare ribs pre-cooked. Fries were okay, but not high quality. We received good help from the staff. But don't expect a high-quality BBQ buffet.

Menu eaten: vegetable soup: delicious!, steak (large and well grilled 👍🏻) with fries and salad, cup of tea for dessert, I couldn't fit in an ice cream anymore 😀. Great meal for little money. Super friendly people who are there to help you, in short: highly recommended 😀

We had steaks and schnitzel. Quality is underground. The meat is tough and not edible. The schnitzel wasn't cooked through properly. The whole thing is served on 49 cent plates. The salad buffet is simply cheaply made with a lot of canned goods. Leave your money somewhere else.

Went with 6 people, 3 of whom got diarrhea, according to us, this was due to the steak, which was not a steak and incorrectly cut pork fillet, very tough and flat, water came from the tap, passed this on to the staff several times, would communicate it to the kitchen, but unfortunately no response everything was a waste of our money

Employees were friendly and the atmosphere was also good but the food was genuinely very bad. The burgers are clearly frozen burgers from the supermarket, just like the spareribs, poor quality meat. The soups are not special and not homemade and the salad bar is very ordinary, I actually only ate fries and baguette so in the end I understood the cheap price, but for this quality it is still very expensive. I really wouldn't recommend this place.

We live in Valkenburg and know most of the restaurants. We eat out regularly. After years, we (my wife and I) went to Ritchi's again yesterday with our 2 dogs and we were truly pleasantly surprised. Where you clearly see a "shrinkage" at most restaurants in Valkenburg, this is absolutely not the case at Ritchi's. We both opted for the already very affordable 3-course menu. We assumed we would get small portions for this price, but this was certainly not the case. The soup tasted very good and was accompanied by rolls with herb butter. The steak was very well cooked and large in size. The satay was also more than sufficient and very soft. The peanut sauce was also excellent. A large bowl of fries was also added, which you now have to pay for separately at other restaurants. They didn't skimp on the ice cream with whipped cream either, it was more than enough. The service was fine and fast. We had a great time on the outdoor terrace. We will of course be going back here soon! A big 10 for Ritchi's!

I have been coming here for many years when we are on holiday in the Valkenburg area. It is and remains a nice restaurant where you can also have a nice table BBQ. Due to chronic illness I cannot walk long distances and am in a wheelchair. It is quite cramped in the restaurant with my wheelchair, so I prefer to sit at the table with a normal chair. The employees are already ready to help my father put him in. It remains a really nice restaurant with super friendly staff.

Nice restaurant and very friendly staff. We decided to eat at the table grill. Eat as much as you can for 2 hours. The grilled meat buffet Has a lot of choice but the meat is cut into misshapen pieces. The steak meat was more reminiscent of goulash meat. But you can sit at the table and talk. Grill in peace.

Wij hebben het 2 uur lang tafelgrillen gedaan. Voldoende keus in vlees. Vooral de biefstuk, kip en gemarineerde varkenshaas waren lekker. Helaas geen vis, maar dat mag je misschien ook niet verwachten voor die prijs. Bediening vlot en vriendelijk. Al met al niet heel bijzonder, maar goed gegeten.

During the holiday in Limburg I ended up in Valkenburg looking for a restaurant. There is plenty of choice in Valkenburg. Chose this restaurant by chance. The staff is very friendly n food tasty! We opted for a BBQ arrangement where the BBQ is incorporated into the table. We will definitely eat there again on our next visit to Valkenburg.
