Cafetaria Dimitri in Wijk 00: Valkenburg

Long wait and the quality of the food was disappointing, unfortunately.

We had to wait half an hour for our food because the owners were distracted by a heated discussion on the terrace. We then asked to take our food away and were told that if we interrupted him again, he wouldn't remember the order. Eventually, after waiting for half an hour, we received our order, only to find out afterwards that they had forgotten part of it. We will not be coming back here; it is a real shame.

Dimitri Snacks Located in beautiful Valkenburg Tried a gyros box here along with a pikanto Unfortunately, it wasn't a success; the fries were poorly fried and the gyros looked like it had been sitting there for a while, and unfortunately, the sauce came with it. The place itself looks fine and you could do great things with it, but they really need to start selling quality; it's a shame, but I still advise you to go to another snack bar. Update 13-7-26 I heard there is a new owner in charge and went to test this out thoroughly. Owner (not exactly hygienic care and the building has deteriorated significantly since my last visit, with many dirty spots and lots of flies). I played it safe this time for fries and a pikanto, but I wonder how often these fries have been re-fried; it was so filthy that I just threw it away (old and dirty greasy taste). I find it remarkable that such a building still manages to get by with so many dirty flaws. But sometimes you have to Giving people a chance, but from now on it's completely over A terrible, terrible shame for such a place....

Lots of potential, but unfortunately the quality is far, FAR substandard. The fries are disgusting, but the kebab/gyros in particular are super greasy and tasteless. It feels like the cheapest meat roll they could buy. I got seriously sick from the food a couple of times. Unfortunately, nothing has changed regarding the ingredients or working methods since the takeover by a new owner! It's a shame, because it has potential. Advice: bring in quality meat and products, overhaul everything, and rebrand. The name Dimitri is known in Valkenburg as bad.

Worst service. Paid for fries but didn't get them. Argued and they wouldn't admit their mistake.

We had a very pleasant dinner here with the four of us. Everything was well organized and tasty. Plus, the owner is very friendly!

Been here a long time ago. Very salty, exactly how I like it. Thanks Dimitri. You are welcome at my bachelor party.

My wife and I had a delicious meal here last night.

After we had gotten over the disappointment that Dimitri didn't exist, the experience didn't get much better. The unfriendly fry cook lectured us about peanut sauce or satay sauce. We also received a snap about whether or not the snacks were present. There is nothing more to say about the food than that it wasn't good.

We went to this snack bar last night thinking we would pay too much, but that turned out not to be the case. There are new owners, and they are real gems; they talk to the customers and even come outside to chat with you when it's quiet. The food was very tasty and the fries were the highlight; in short, definitely worth it if you like a greasy snack.

Dimitri was mad as hell because we were trashing his place with satay fries. He also had very little sauce on the fries, and he was very aggressive and intimidating towards his customers, which I didn't appreciate. Furthermore, the man who took our order was extremely humorless and unimpressed by our little joke. Damn, Dimitri...

Cancer delicious hair salon. Stable cousin. Top staff.

The owner and servers are rude, they charged extra and when asked do not provide receipt.

Great food and it's open late. It's nice to have something to eat after a night out.

They deliberately made our meals as slow as possible while a taxi was waiting. We were the only customers, and even fries took 35 minutes.

Friendly staff. And the food was delicious. I'll remember that.

We had a perfect meal and the atmosphere was great. We had a chat with the owner. What a great guy!

Food was good and staff was very friendly

Very nice place, with a beautiful and modern interior, you can have a nice meal there

In the evening I quickly grabbed some fries, it was delicious, fresh fries and tasty satay sauce. Very friendly people, and that lady with tattoos is really a cutie🥰

Best snack bar in Valkenburg greetings from Limme

Yesterday I ate Doner Bruja from Dimitri. An hour later I suffered from heartburn because of the spoiled döner. Think carefully. People pay money and you give them spoiled food. I'll never come back to you again.

Delicious good fries. Don't change anything.

Nice new owner and staff. Food was also tasty and good. The business has long opening hours, which is also nice.

Terrible, if you can eat somewhere else you should definitely do so. No service, no atmosphere and no idea what they are doing at all.

Super nice staff, food was EXCELLENT For the right price. You can even borrow a phone charger for an empty phone. Great service

Wonderful to eat late, super friendly service and delicious food.

Friendly welcome. Cool man! Good chip shop.

Excellent service! We arrived on Friday evening around 1:15 during a weekend away. Everything was already closed, but we were immediately helped warmly. The food was delicious and the service was extremely friendly and professional. Highly recommended for anyone in Schoonebeek who wants to eat well, regardless of the time. Thanks again for the top service!

drink was good for the spoenik you needed a hammer and chisel

Mediocre tent. Not bad at all for a late night snack but not recommended for a full meal! Kristos much better recommended if you have the chance!

On Sunday, November 17, we had dinner at Friture Dimitri in Wilhelmina Laan, where since November 1 there have been two new managers, Wesley and Dennis. We were a group of 4 people. Fries sour meat 2x fries goulash and fries satay and 3x frikandel special were served neatly everything on plates the food was tasty fries well cooked the place was clean so dear people don't blame these new operators for what went wrong before November 1 give them a chance

Friendly employees, very clean and tidy, tasty food..

On the way to our hotel from an evening out, we passed this chip shop. We had a nice meal, enough for the price. The place was also very clean and the service was friendly So I really don't understand the negative reactions.

Ate last Saturday, the quality of the food was just fine! Nice staff

Great tent! Another delicious meal! Geert loved the sauce on the gyros👍

Went here for dinner recently with some friends. Fries are tough, stuffy and soggy. It tastes like someone died in the frying oil last week... Snacks were undercooked and the sauce was not present. Unfortunately, I also paid too much afterwards. Next time scrape vomit off the sidewalk on Friday evening, better to hail than this bunch of twats...

What a *** tent. The fries taste as if they have been fried 4 times and without salt. You would almost think it is sponge bob. The cheese soufle was not baked long enough at all. At the cash register he mentioned an amount that it ultimately was not. Now after this dinner my friends and I have an immune system from here to Tokyo

I arrived at 8:15 PM. The fryer was not yet up to temperature. After waiting 10 minutes I finally had bad fries. Mister better open a night shop.

Fit the tour perfectly. Really delicious

I ask how much the sweets cost (which was not on the menu), first the gentleman says “just wait a minute”. Then he answers “everything is 2 euros”. I ask if the toblerone bars were also 2 euros (they were with the rest). Dimitri then says “they are 5 euros, do you want to know the prices or are you going to buy something?” I hadn't even been able to say what I wanted yet and he promptly sent us away and gave another customer the area. Very unfriendly man and does not listen to the customers. NEVER COME!!!

Bad service often forgets something about your order. Food is sometimes good but often bad.

Ordered a Gyros sandwich at night and ate there. For 7.50 euros you mainly get a meaningless thick slice of 'pancake' containing a small amount of meat that is supposed to be gyros and a hefty shot of sauce. Wasn't a very good sandwich... There were several of us, all three had the same order and all three had a bit of a disappointing experience...

Of everything we bought, only the frikandel was good The sachlik does not burn to eat So bad, sir, I must have thought they didn't come from here and it just gave in, yuck

Good food, but what hateful service. Reason enough for me not to come anymore.

Fries are just undercooked. That's where it starts. Was also in the fryer for a minute. The best man then lies down on the couch next to his chip shop. No, no advertising. And just bad fries. Shame.

Went for dinner twice, delicious!! Staff was really nice too!! We will definitely come back! 🥳

The food is of good quality and the service is very friendly 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻 atmosphere is a bit reminiscent of a 90's diner from America

The only advantage to this place is that it is open late. Otherwise I would get your food somewhere else.

Fairly standard English tourist moment - couldn't read the menu board so the server helped, decided on the gyro in a pita and fries, the food was average, I found it to be quite greasy, the server was a godsend, friendly, knowledgeable, and polite, the restaurant itself was clean and modern.

Unfriendly staff and even though it was well before closing time, they said they were almost closing. Also no onions with the frikandel special

Keurig nett zaak, hygiënisch, alles keurig verpakt.

'S avonds aangekomen vanuit Spanje even lekker een Hollandse hap gehaald.

Zeer betaalbaar

Heerlijke kapsalon! En zeker ruim voldoende

Good service and great menu card. 4 stars for the food because the meatball and frikandel XXL was fried too long. But the french fries where great and a lot!! Will go here again.

Super lecker....mit selbstgemachten Pommes. Dimitri sehr nett.

Ideaal. Nette bediening en nette zaak.

Leckere Pommes Spezial sowie gute Frikandel.

Mooie zaak en leuk personeel. Eten is goed.

Jedzenie ogulnie dobre, trochę szwankuje znajomość języków obcych u sprzedawców, i mały niesmak z powodu zabrudzonego stolika
