Wow, those pizzas are so bland. Even the takeout isn't great; it was very disappointing.

Extremely poor service. When ordering, we indicated we wanted it as soon as possible, which the website stated was 15 minutes. Once arrived, it took another 30 minutes (about 45 minutes total) for it to be ready, while the staff was sitting idle. It also turned out just before baking that one type of cheese (lactose-free) was out. This can happen, but people deliberately choose lactose-free cheese, and if it happens to be out, we'd have let them know sooner. We would have canceled the order and ordered elsewhere. No apology or compensation was given. Very poor service. When placing the order online, we indicated "as soon as possible," which the website stated was 15 minutes. However, upon arrival, it still took another 30 minutes (about 45 minutes total) while the staff didn't do anything. Also, just before the pizza was baked, one of the ingredients ran out: a lactose-free cheese. That can happen but people choose this cauntionily and so if it happens, it should be indicated earlier so that we could have canceled the order and gone to another place. There weren't any apologies or compensations. Will not be ordering from this place again.

Never seen such a limp pizza. I took two bites and threw the rest in the trash. I called afterward and was told the pizza was supposed to be that way. After calling a few more times, no one answered. A waste of my €22.50. I'll never order from here again.

They were 1 and a half hour late and they didn’t even apologise for it. The pizza was not well cooked and we think that they forgot our order and made it in a rush last minute.

Closes 1 hour before closing time. And cancels orders they don’t feel like making. Dry crust, please go to Domino’s if you want to eat pizza. The worst ever. I was sent away by 6 delivery drivers hanging around in front of the door. One almost ran me over.

This business is deteriorating so fast! More than 1 hour waiting time and again not enough containers of garlic sauce!! The garlic sauce came in containers that looked like thimbles worth 80 cents! Really scandalous! Last time for us!

Waited almost an hour and a half. Soggy pizza, undercooked, very thick crust, so hardly any filling. And not a four-cheese pizza, but dough with tomato sauce and some cheese. It's truly awful that such a large company can sell this kind of junk.

Ordered a pizza here for the first time, but never again!! Pizza was lukewarm, only tasted like tomato sauce (was a shawarma pizza) and was half cooked. Seriously this was the tastiest pizza we have ever eaten.

Thinking about ordering 2 pizzas with some snacks, I ordered around 7 o'clock and around a quarter past 9 I still wonder where the pizza is because I live 5 minutes away, I called 5 times, no one answered, I walked there and then the nice talking gentleman came. behind the counter that he would meet me so I walked home and when I got home I waited another half hour then the delivery person came with nothing to meet me and the gentleman behind the counter suddenly did something like send your sales on the phone and then nothing happened happen to me looked in the boxes, well that doesn't make you happy either, 2 pizzas which had more dough, which was baked and was completely topped, such as the shawarma without the shawarma and with the tuna, which was so limp when you picked it up, everything was already off, including the dough base of the chicken pods were still half pink on the inside, it really is a trash mess absolutely do not order here without your time and money, I just lost almost 50 euros in the trash

1 star is still too much. NEVER order there again. Had to wait more than 2.5 hours for my order. Tried to make contact by telephone but to no avail. Email sent, but responding to that is also too difficult. After 2 hours I went into the kitchen for the kids, but because they delivered anyway, no money back from @thuiszorgd. Pizza went straight into the bin.

Do not order here! I just ordered two pizzas at 6:45 PM and it's still not there at 9:30 PM. We have tried to contact you several times, but there is no answer. I'm hungry💔

After 3 hours and 45 minutes we finally received our two pizzas. Quality of the pizza also very poor. Absolutely not recommended.

Delivery time is more than 1 hr. The food is cold and the quality is decreasing. THE WORST SERVICE EVER!!! All they say is sorry we do better next time. Seriously they don't event compensate or anything. This is my last time ordering!! If I could I would give negative stars!!

This didn't come from Papa John. €40 for 2 pizzas where you have to look up the ingredients. Will never order from here again via home delivery.

I placed my order at 7:30 PM, at 8:15 PM I received an update that "the delivery person will be here soon". After fifteen minutes still no one, no phone call, nothing. So I try to call them and no one answers. Called again 10 minutes later but this time it was pushed away, then I tried again and it was pushed away again. I repeated this until I am now typing this at 9:45 when my order finally arrived. It took them more than TWO HOURS to deliver one 25cm pizza from the menu to an address 10 minutes by bike away. Not a WORD was said by the delivery person or the branch itself about the fact that it took 2 hours. If it is a little late or a mistake with the order, that's all fine, that can happen, but being unreachable is ridiculous. Oh and afterwards it is also the famous one, pizza is cold, sparsely topped and the dough is very tough.

Never written a review in my life, but this place really tested my patience. Ordered and payed for 2 pizzas and a 1,5L Pepsi at 17:16 that was to arrive at 17:45 Called them at 18:25: A woman answers "The pizzas are on their way" Called again at 19:24: Same woman answers "The pizzas are on their way, it was taking longer to deliver because of the rain" (My house is 6 min bike ride away) Called again at 20:14: A guy answers an informs me that the pizzas have not been made yet and it would take 30 mins to make them and deliver. I was really sick at the time and didn't want to leave the house so I still wanted the pizzas, also I had already payed for them. Called again 20:42: Another guy answers and tells me "The delivery guy is out and he should arrive within minutes" Called again 21:03: A woman answers (I think it was the same woman from before, if not then the following speculations can be ignored) The woman gave no answers and claims to not to speak English so I ask to talk to someone that does. A guy comes to the phone and informs me that the pizzas are to arrive at any minute. At this time I was really hungry and just wanted food, so I forced myself to another restaurant. When I come back, my roommate tells me that the delivery guy came around 21:20 and that the food is in the kitchen. I see 2 pizzas but no Pepsi. I do NOT understand how this place is still open with such poor customer service and management. They never offered anything in return for this delay and honestly, I still can't believe that this actually happened. Edited, someone reported this review.

I'm a big fan of Papa John's and enjoy the pizza. Quality has been decreasing rapidly and recently received my worst (and last) order. The pizzas were delivered in some generic boxes (makes me question the source), bad base (used to have a good thick base), barely any toppings (really, you could count the pieces), no sauce or chilli, and just no flavour. Really not like a Papa John's pizza. Extremely disappointed. Unable to eat these pizzas.

Over 30 mins delay in delivery, ridiculously off the mark.

Ordered a pizza and stated that it would be delivered at 11:00 PM before I ordered. Then I order and find out 45 minutes after closing time that it has been changed to 3:30 PM the next day. Sent a message and tried to call, they don't answer and don't return emails. Then we try to deliver the pizza the next day, but of course no one is home. Extremely poorly organised, order was also placed 20 minutes before closing time….

If there were less than 1 star I would give even fewer stars. First, each slice contains 1 pepperoni and 2 mini meatballs. Pizza is super dry. Drinks were not delivered. Then they want to bribe me with a lava cake. The only lava I've seen is in the toilet after eating that dry papa dias which is just a folded pizza base with garlic sauce. Well, I still went to bed hungry today.

Worse papa John's in the world, I believe this pizzeria is a scam, as not even the carton in which the pizza is delivered is branded with the papa John's logo. Avoid ordering here at any cost, worse quality than a corner no name pizzeria. I hope they get fined by papa John's corporation as it is really bad for the brand overall. DO NOT BUY HERE.

After waiting an hour and taking the initiative to call, Dad John s Delft says that my order is on its way, in contrast to the truth where there is no trace yet.

Worse pizza I had in years. Ordered three times all three where consistently bad. This was supposed to have more toppings..

I don't usually review, but I had to review as it was consecutive bad quality from all my orders in Papa John. -> The delivery is late, usually by 30 mins or more - without fail than the time I pick in advance. -> And the food quality is terrible, bland - no taste. -> There are no sauces provided although order had sauces. -> The side dish of garlic cheese sticks had no cheese on them (this was usually subjectively the best item from papa johns). Overall, the pizza quality, delivery time and consistency is terrible.

Worse pizza ever!! Purchased first time and my last time. Pizza dough is like rubber, chewy dough. It wasn’t even delicious. When asked to do something with the pizza, they said they cannot give any refund niether can fix the pizza. Waste of time and money. In the end it’s just a disappointment!

Ordered few pizzas on a busy evening. First, the website was broken, then delivery person asked to pick up orders downstairs because "they are busy", and the pizzas were absolutely horrible. Some ingredients were not there, and overall pizzas were very dry. I prefer to play it fair and not take orders if you can't make them with acceptable quality.

I had a lovely meal! Together with two friends we got two family sized pizzas, one of which was vegan. We walked in and ordered for take away. The ladies behind the counter helped us well and even advised us to get a cheaper deal. Food didn't take long either, but you expect that from a fast food chain. They have done their best to set up some tables and make it fun, but of course most people order from a distance. Still, I think Papa John's is much better than Domino's, but that is of course completely subjective.

We loved the garden party and spicy pizza.loved their authentic ones. Would highly recommend.

De eerste 2 pizza's waren echt geweldig!! Dacht nieuwe favorite pizza zaak. Maar nu heb ik een pizza die net karton is dun en kauw letterlijk te vaak op een stukje zo taai en stevig! Gewoon niet te vreden en zonder van je geld want ze zijn niet de goedkoopste! Als je ze belt helpen ze je niet en zeggen ze dat ze er niks aan gaan doen dus klantvriendelijk zijn ze ook al niet!

While it didn't seem very busy we still had to wait longer than 30 minutes for our pizzas to be ready. But it was worth the wait. The pizzas were freshly made with fresh products and tasted very good. Better than other well known pizza places.

Eindelijk een zaak die weet hoe ze vegan pizza moeten maken. Heb in jaren niet zo lekker pizza gegeten. Vriendelijke bediening ook. Dikke aanrader! Was voor ons de moeite waard om een stukje verder te reizen dan normaal.

Pedí dos pizzas y el nuevo Papa Dias durante el fin de semana. Estaban deliciosos y entregados a tiempo y cálidos. Lo mejor en Delft. Y el empleado también hablaba español.

Ik moest wachten tot mijn veganistische pizza werd gemaakt. Ik zag het deeg in bolletjes en vaardige handen maakten er als Italiaanse pizzabakkers een mooie bodem van. En ècht waar, hij smaakte verrukkelijk. Ik nam er een met paprika, ui, champignons en vegan topping (Worstjes en dergelijke) Zeker voor herhaling vatbaar.

Erg lekkere en goede pizza! Het enige grote nadeel is de prijs. Door de hoge prijs zijn deze pizza's het eigenlijk alleen waard om te bestellen tijdens acties, zoals 1+1 gratis.

very bad pizza and cheese sticks.... it’s either wet and sticky or burnt. I tried other orders like chicken wings and widgets potatoes they were fine and edible. the cinnabon knots are the best! more stars for the knots only :)

Nadat de manager vandaag contact met mij heeft opgenomen over de gegronden klachten over de pizza's, heeft hij gekozen om de nieuwe pizza's kosteloos opnieuw te versturen. Ik kan nu ook zeggen (niet omdat het kosteloos was) dat hij zijn uitstekende best heeft gedaan om de klachten serieus en super goed op te lossen. De pizza's waren nu heerlijk warm en smaakvol. Van bagger slecht naar zeer goed. Van 1 ster naar 5 sterren. Zelf had ik nu ook het gevoel dat ik gehoord was en dat er goed geluisterd was naar de terrechte klachten. Ook omtrent 1 personeelslid die daar niet thuis hoort. Het is klant gericht opgelost. En dat telt ook zeer zeker mee in de sterren. Dat mag ook gezegd worden. De manager Bob heeft ook alles eraan gedaan om alles netjes en zo goed mogelijk oo te lossen. Dit heet service in zijn hoogste omvang. Top. Mijn dank is groot.
