Papa John's Pizza in Centrum

If you order a Spicy Buffalo Chicken pizza for almost 18 euros, you get a pitiful disk of dough WITHOUT ranch, WITHOUT chicken and WITHOUT buffalo sauce. While those are literally the ingredients that define this pizza. As if that wasn't bad enough, the store only calls to say that the garlic sauce is gone - fine, it happens. But then they simply deliver half a pizza without 3 of the 5 toppings and say nothing about it, give no discount and no money back. For such a price I expect quality and decent service. This was pure fraud. Not even worth one star. Papa John's Hilversum, you have lost me as a customer.

Delivery was fine. The pizza was rancid, super dry, mega salty and it hadn't been in the oven long enough. Really inedible.

I ordered 2 pizzas over an hour ago through Uber Eats, which haven't arrived. I don't know if they're growing the wheat to make the dough or raising pigs to get the pepperoni, but I'm still hungry. Definitely not a place I'll order from again. Update: I just got it after waiting 1 hour and a half and this has to be a joke, if this is a double pepperoni, probably if you order a normal pepperoni you will only get half a pizza, this is really annoying, last time I order from a restaurant without checking the reviews first.

We ordered on Uber Eats and received the wrong order. When I called the store to enquire about it I was spoken to extremely rude with very bad customer service that it is not his problem and he was raising his voice at me.

I wish I had read the reviews sooner! Once ordered and just received lukewarm pizza and what is really not tasty is dough that is cold. Today I thought, let's try again, maybe better. If my order is simply canceled, I will receive the message. Then call... Doesn't answer! Tried several times, nothing. Receive via delivery app that the money will be refunded within a few days. Bad thing, also the last time! IF I DO NOT GET MY MONEY REFUNDED, I WILL REPORT THE SCAM TO THE POLICE.

Cold pizza. Maybe less bad because it was also the wrong one and I didn't want it anyway.

Never really had any problems in the past. I often got takeout, nothing special. Today it was raining so I thought I would have it delivered. I also let them know that there is no doorbell and that they should ring the bell when they are at the door, which is handy. I get a call right on time, I walk downstairs, there is no one at the door... What turns out? That boy couldn't bring himself to do his job, get out of the car and deliver the pizza to the door. He waved very theatrically that I had to go that way, through the rain, to get my pizza. The entire transaction was surly and unfriendly and I also have to pay delivery costs for this crappy service. I will order my pizza somewhere else from now on.

SCAM! On November 30th, I placed an order on the Papa John's website. They took my money, but the order never arrived. I tried to solve the issue, they still haven’t answer me. This is very frustrating. I do not recommend ordering from them!

Ordered a pizza for the first time and I was surprised at how delicious it was. I had American Hot. It was crispy and tasty. I give the pizza an 8. It could have been a 9 or maybe a 10 if the pizza was delivered a little warmer. But the taste makes up for it completely. So it was a bit on the lukewarm side, but it was just possible. We will order again in the future.

Small and very slow if u order delivery it might never get there and they would just cancel your order!! The ice cream felt like it melted then was refrozen

By American "fast food" standards, this is one of the better options for pizza. I had a vegetarian pizza that was ready in 7 minutes. The temperature was perfect and the pizza was baked crispy. Don't expect fine dining quality, but after a long day this is a tasty and quick choice. The staff was also very friendly and polite, which contributes to the 5-star rating.

We ordered 13 pizzas with a group of 8 people. I have to say Dad stuffed our food hatches with a treat of pizzas of every kind from Sausage and Pepperoni to 10KG Cheese Pizza. Pizzas were still cold the next morning, a heavenly treat, but the crust was an absolute stumbling block the next day! We were well looked after by Dad! Not to mention the garlic dip for the edge created a huge flavor explosion! Finally, only one thing can be said! THANK YOU PAPA JOHN'S

Ordered 6 pizzas today. Pizzas were tasty and hot and on time. It was a shame for our lactose intolerant daughter that the pizzas with vegan cheese were indistinguishable from those with "regular" cheese (otherwise the same ingredients). A mark on the box or note or something else would have been nice. But otherwise completely fine.

Pizza was as dry as the box it came in. The chicken I ordered was small, poorly packaged and extremely expensive. Looked a lot more promising in the photo. But yeah, it tasted ok. All a bit expensive.

Just ordered here for the first time, also the last time! Pizza arrived lukewarm to cold! Pizza was just barely burnt/dried out. Taste, I didn't have that, the cheapest frozen pizza probably tastes 10 times better compared to this one! To make matters worse, there was even a hair on it! People, do yourself a favor and don't order here!

Online ordering not possible. Website indicates to call. I cannot order by calling because they are said to be closed. Still open according to the website.

We got a discount voucher from this restaurant on uber eats for loyalty. I tried to use this voucher on 5 different occations, but the restaurant always rejects the order. But an order without discount works normally. Bad process for loyal customers if you ask me..

Worst customer service and very rude staff. Never buy from there.

This place is kind of a scam, while ordering when we showed them all the offers on their website, they flatly refused that they dont have those deals anymore, very annoying, as valid dates & times were also mentioned. Fine, No deals, we ordered an amount of euro 40.76 worth of food for 3 people, the guy at the counter was very hesitant to give us the receipt after paying, saying you will get your food, why you need the receipt, finally he gave it reluctantly when insisted, with a poker face, receipt was manually printed without kvk no. and other details of tax The food was terrible, way below standards of many other papa johns we had eaten earlier Scam place & people. Avoid.

It's OK, but pizza was quite dry. The same one from the other location was much better.

I only tried the chicken pizza, which was not tasty, and I also thought it was expensive when compared to big pizza places like Domino's and New York Pizza.

Bij afhalen prima op tijd klaar en altijd heerlijke pizza's! Vind ze persoonlijk veel lekkerder dan Domino's of NYP en ik zou alleen al voor de knoflooksaus naar Papa John's gaan.

Heerlijke pizza gegeten hier, alles wel zo'n beetje gehad in Hilversum maar dit vind ik by far de lekkerste! Bezorging binnen 45 minuten ook keurig tijdens etenstijd naar mijn mening

Pizza was absolutely delicious! tasted just like Domino’s but was really expensive… for a Medium pizza with just cheese (a margarita) i paid €9,99 where at dominos you can get a Medium pepperoni for €5

Heerlijke pizza alleen heel jammer dat als je een large besteld en voor betaald plus extra kaas en ze vergeten een belangrijk ingrediënt er op te doen namelijk de saus waardoor de smaak van de pizza totaal nergens naar laat smaken wat kan gebeuren is niet erg Maar dat je dan recht heb om een gratis medium pizza die goedkoper is vind ik wel erg raar ik betaal toch voor een large of niet soms

Heerlijke pizza, ze doen (zelfs in deze tijden!) in mijn geval onder half uur bezorging. Pizza was absoluut geweldig! (Pizza op foto had ik al twee stukken van gepakt)

Delicious Pizza. We ordered a large thin crust vegetarian Pizza and it was delicious and enough for 2 of us. The extra pizza sauce we requested was served separately and was tasty. Will surely order again.

Ik heb vandaag nog overheerlijke pizza’s besteld voor mij en me vriendinnen, Ze waren echt smaakvol! Wij zijn in elk geval dik tevreden hier over! Zeker voor herhaling vatbaar. En ook nog een goeie service en vriendelijke personeel :)

Heerlijke pizzas niet te vet vriendelijk personeel en dat knoflooksausje zalig . Je moet er van houden.

Pizza was erg duur voor een medium 13 of 14 euro zat amper beleg op erg karig en al helemaal voor die prijs eens maar gelijk de laatste keer

de pizza was heerlijk en over het personeel valt ook niks te klagen, zeer vriendelijk behandeld. Ik zal hier zeker nog een keer eten.

Pas hier geweest om te checken of het eten goed was. Het personeel was heel vriendelijk, dus geen kritiek daarop. Vervolgens bestellen we de pizza’s. Even wachten, maar dat ben ik gewend voor pizzatenten, niet langer dan normaal. De pizza zelf was prima, niet veel bijzonders moet ik toegeven, maar ik vond het een prima pizza. Wat opviel was het deeg wat heel vreemd rook, toch opgegeten. En jawel hoor, volgende dag niet naar werk vanwege buikkrampen. Ik wist meteen waar dat vandaan kwam. Ik wil natuurlijk niet te snel oordelen, maar dit is voor mij een afknapper.

Een nieuwe pizzaria moet ik natuurlijk altijd even proberen. Niks dan lof voor deze jonge ondernemers! Snelle service en heerlijk pizzas, ik kom zeker terug!!!
