Waited an hour for pizza, the app shows 'delivered' even though nothing has been delivered. Called of course. A woman on the line who avoided asking why the status was set to delivered. She canceled our order herself after which she immediately disconnected the connection. Very rude!!

Very unfriendly on the phone. We had called to estimate how long it would take (we had already been waiting 1.5 hours) “listen madam, it is busy”. Which is completely understandable on a Sunday evening, but they were hung up and treated rudely.

We ordered here yesterday and after waiting almost 2 hours for our food, the delivery person from this restaurant dropped all the food on my front lawn. This can happen, but the way they solve this problem is really unacceptable! After contacting me by telephone, the operator told me that I should not call anymore and that there was nothing they could do. She disconnected the call.

I have ordered from here often and really liked the food. My husband called dad Mario today (December 16, 2023) to ask if their chicken is halal. Lady on the phone: “chicken is always halal”. To which my husband said: “no, chicken is only halal if it has been ritually slaughtered”. Lady on the phone: “Order somewhere else” and she hangs up without mercy. I think this is a really antisocial way of dealing with customers. And it is clearly not a restaurant where everything is 100% halal, as stated on home delivery. I will never order here again. Antisocial scammers.

Yesterday I picked up a pizza for the first time at Italian takeaway Papa Mario (Steurstraat, Almere). The menu I looked at at the store contained 2-year-old prices, Ms. Mario said. OK, I knew that then. The difference between the old and the new price for a Margarita was E 1.50. Not small, but I had an idea of ​​the price increase. I ordered a pizza (vegetariana), a bowl of tiramisu and a 330 ml can of Fanta. Papa Mario was delivering an order; in the meantime, Mrs. Mario and I had a nice chat. At checkout, Mrs. Mario said that she charged me a special price, a friend price, because it was the first time I picked something up from them. I of course thanked Mrs. Mario for that. I had to pay E 20.00. I thought that was quite a lot, especially because it was a friend's prize. At home I looked up the amounts for my order on Papa Mario's website and added them up. It turned out that I should have paid E 19.00 (18.99), none E 20.00. I would have saved Papa Mario delivery costs and time by picking it up myself. Why would someone do something like that? Too bad for mom and dad Mario, but they have lost a good customer in me.

Is a takeaway pizzeria. Excellent pizza in a small commercial building. Mom and Dad Mario were very nice, lovely people. Cannot be paid by card but paid via Tikkie from their son. Well resolved.

Received pasta quickly. Very nice, but after I open the package I see a hair in the paste. So I called the restaurant and asked if we could get a new one. No, that wasn't possible, because there really couldn't be any hair in it. Took a photo and everything. Very unfriendly.

Echt lekker Pizza en vriendelijk personeel

Heb hier nou meerdere malen besteld. Alles is altijd netjes in orde. Het eten is zeer smaakvol en de porties zijn groot. Laatste keer waren ze een paar minuten later dan aangegeven en boden hier netjes hun excuses voor aan, maar des ondanks was het eten wel warm en lekker wat ik veel belangrijker vind dan dat je een paar minuten later bent.

Forgot to review Papa Mario last time I visited! Amazing pizza and wonderful atmosphere. 100% recommend!!
