The pizza was ready in 8 minutes, the pizza was very tasty. A bit on the thin side though.

Ordered pizzas for several people, and unfortunately, they were quite disappointing. In a few cases, the dough didn't seem fully cooked. The pizzas were soggy from the oil, and the taste was also disappointing. The man who handed over the pizzas looked incredibly grumpy and didn't seem to enjoy his work. We used to always have good meals or takeout here, but this was probably the last time.

Picked up pizzas. It was always good until the restaurant was taken over and became Nunzio. The pizzas were completely soggy from the oil and barely cooked to undercooked. The taste wasn't great either. This is the last time we will order anything here.

The pizzas here are very tasty, but I will never order takeout again. I got a tiny pizza and it was cold to boot (even though I was there precisely on the minute to pick it up). :(

Very rude. For my 6 year the lady said she cannot drink her bottle water. Which is like forcing you to buy water from them. Even if u don't need and the way they tell you is so so ride. I will never visit this place and will not recommend anyone one

Terrible, waited a total of 2 hours because someone had ordered 15 pizzas online for 19:00 while we had reserved for 18:30. They clearly cannot plan or prioritize there. We also waited an hour for the cold starters. The food was very salty; the response we received was that others had this too. Several people in the restaurant expressed dissatisfaction regarding the long wait. Some customers walked out of dissatisfaction. We wanted to pay with Dinnerbon, but they did not accept them on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. Nothing was mentioned about this at the Dinnerbon redemption locations. GRUMPY CHEF AND OWNER. VERY BAD EXPERIENCE. WE WILL NEVER GO THERE AGAIN. They are novice amateurs.

Ordered here. Had to wait 1.5 hours before we could pick up. The pizza looks like it was just thrown into the box. Oil is running off and the pizza is floating in grease. There is hardly any sign of garlic in the garlic bread; it is just a container of olive oil with garlic powder. The pizza tasted okay but was still soaking wet. This made it very difficult to eat, and the ingredients are not evenly distributed. For us, it's a one-time thing, never again. The staff is also unfriendly and unclear in their communication.

The calzone has become smaller and more expensive. The previous owner was much better.

Absolutely a NO. I'm from Napoli and the pizza was sufficient. The Salsiccia and Friarielli was incredibly disappointing. If you Friarielli from a can at least remove the oil. The dessert was disrespectful. We ordered 2 Babà, thank God they only had 1. It was dry and hard... If you want to sell expired stuff to people, make sure to give it to someone that doesn't know this food... Never again.

But then came the Lasagna and Pizza, both of which took me straight to cloud nine. The Lasagna was rich, hearty, and perfectly balanced with layers of cheese, meat, and sauce that melted in my mouth. The Pizza was simply perfection, with a crispy, thin crust, fresh toppings, and just the right amount of cheese. And let's not forget the Tiramisu—Nunzio Pulcinella offers over 55 varieties, with a different one each day! It's a Tiramisu lover's dream come true. Called at 10 to 6, word not answered, Drove there by car, and after just an hour they were already out of pizza dough, so I had to leave again. Got the feeling they didn't want to help me purely because I mispronounced the pizza name.

The pizza maker is clearly Italian. Excellent taste and quality. The restaurant is now called Nunzio.

What a terrible place. Upon entering, we (a family with 2 kids) were greeted separately right from the start. The two ladies started bickering over the table. You'd think it would get busy, wouldn't you? Well, not exactly 3 tables occupied. Ordering drinks went wrong right from the beginning; we got an iced tea instead of apple juice. So the lady says, "Yes, and now what?" As if we were forced to take it... I almost didn't get a Tsuri... because I said it was supposed to be apple juice and you can take the iced tea back with you... Then we ordered: 4 pizzas and bread as starters. The bread arrived after 45 minutes... the table next to us had already left by then; they still hadn't received their bread after an hour. We are quite patient, but with two young kids who were getting hungry by then, we went to ask after 1.5 hours where the pizzas were. Are there no pizzas in the stone oven at all?? So we asked when they think they will serve? "You have to be patient, it is very busy"... Busy? There were three tables with a total of 18 people ??? I even got a reproachful sneer from the cook: everything is fresh, you just have to wait, that’s part of being at a restaurant! No apologies, no explanation for it taking so long… the two ladies sat there looking uninterested and acting as if it was our fault…… But sorry, if it had been packed I would have understood, but there was no one there and no pizza in the oven either? It looked like a Hells Kitchen episode… almost called Gordon Ramsay. A big fat 1 for service and long wait times… the bread (brioche) was okay, but otherwise I can’t say much about the food, except that it didn’t arrive… I wouldn’t eat here; we certainly never will again.

We dined here to celebrate a birthday with 5 adults and 3 young children, but unfortunately, it was not a pleasant experience. The service seemed rushed and was also quite unfriendly. During order taking and serving, they even spoke with their mouths full, which came across as very unprofessional. Additionally, it seemed as if we were a nuisance rather than welcome. What was particularly disappointing was the waiting time: we had to wait over 2 hours for our main courses, while only 3 tables were occupied. That is truly unacceptable, especially with children. Unfortunately, there was no apology for the long wait, but instead complaints that we all (2 tables) arrived at the same time. The food itself was mediocre. The burrata with tomato for €14 was disappointing: there were only two small pieces of tomato with it. The tiramisu was unfortunately sold out, and the 0.0 beer was not cold, so it was not served. We also saw at another table that the wait staff called over the chef to engage in a discussion with guests. This came across as provocative and very unprofessional, and created an uncomfortable atmosphere in the restaurant. All in all, a disappointing experience. We will certainly not be coming back here.

We have been coming to this pizzeria for quite some time and have always been very satisfied with the food and the atmosphere. It is a simple place, but with delicious food. Unfortunately, we had a less pleasant experience yesterday. Our daughter is just 2 years old, and we had brought her own child's cup (plastic, a 360 cup), which is very normal and safe for young children. To our surprise, we were told that she was not allowed to use it because she is ‘already 2 years old,’ and that we had to buy water and let her drink from a glass. We found this not only incomprehensible but also not child-friendly. Using a glass cup for a toddler actually poses risks. For a place where we have always felt welcome, this was a major disappointment. We hope that there will be more flexibility and understanding for families with young children here in the future.

Best pizza dough I have ever tried

Without a doubt one of the very best pizzas I have ever eaten.

A true italian at heart with passion for the art of cooking. Using fresh ingredients imported from italy. Bit higher cost, but at much higher quality than lot of the junk served at fake italian restaurants with watered down ingredients.

Authentic trattoria atmosphere, lots of Maradona, truly Neapolitan, pizza tastes very good, not too salty. 5 stars. Definitely worth it!

Visited today with my family and unfortunately the experience was disappointing mainly due to the owner’s attitude. When we entered and asked if it was a restaurant, the response was oddly “yes and no,” which already felt unwelcoming. After we sat down, the owner noticed a small water bottle we had brought for our son and immediately lectured us that bringing water from outside is not allowed and that we must buy water from the restaurant. While I understand restaurant policies, the way it was communicated felt unnecessarily rude and uncomfortable. The food itself was okay but nothing special. Overall, the interaction made us feel unwelcome. A little friendliness and courtesy would make a big difference in a hospitality business.

Well, the service was very poor. She had no idea what was on the menu. We also waited 45 minutes for a pizza because "20 pizzas were being picked up." The pizza was average, let's say a 6 out of 10. And then, despite arriving at 5:30 PM, there was no tiramisu left; everything was gone, in a restaurant that claims to make 50 different tiramisu flavors. This was on a Saturday night, and thanks to the long wait for the pizza, it was before 7 PM. Besides all this mediocrity, it was also very cold inside. The building isn't insulated, so if you're not sitting next to a heater, it's cold. The 2 stars instead of 1 are because the pizza wasn't bad, but average, and because the staff, while friendly, were not competent. The bill for 2 people: €90, not exactly cheap for a pizza and a starter for 2 people.

Last Thursday, my wife and I dined here. It's a small restaurant where it was really cold all evening. The staff were clearly in a hurry and didn't let you enjoy your meal in peace. The carpaccio was mediocre, and the pizza was equally disappointing; the crust wasn't crispy in the middle, like we've often had in Italy. All in all, it was a real disappointment. When paying, my wife wanted to use a Diner Cadeau card. There was a brief argument with the staff about this, but in the end, my wife still had to pay €96, and the €30 voucher was taken. Despite her disappointment, my wife paid €100. Once home, my wife realized that the staff had taken the voucher but never deducted it from the total. She tried to call the next day but couldn't get through. On Saturday, she called again and was treated downright rudely by the woman on the phone. The restaurant refused to correct their mistake. This amounts to a pure scam for €30. The fact that someone not only makes a mistake but also refuses to correct it and reacts rudely is truly shameful. If a restaurant has to make a living this way, it speaks volumes about how you treat your guests. Absolutely no second visit for us.

We had dinner at Nunzio Pulcinella's tonight. There were two of us and we had pizza. We hadn't had such a good pizza in a long time. They were truly delicious. We felt like we were eating pizza in Italy. Definitely worth repeating!

Friendly Surinamese woman serving, and the food was delicious. The chef had good spicy peppers for my pizza, and the pasta arrabiatta was also quite spicy.

I think this was the best delivery pizza I've ever had. It tasted like it just came out of a Neapolitan brick oven. The delivery was also really fast, especially on a Saturday night! I hope they stay around for a long time because I'll definitely be ordering from them again!

I was here for the first time today. I've eaten a lot of pizza, but Nunzio's dough is really good!

After ordering two calzone pizzas and one four-cheese pizza by phone, I spent over €45. I wanted to order Bolognese sauce with the calzone, but I could only add it to the comments. I also wanted a little arugula salad for the pizza. When I picked up my order, I was told I had to pay an extra €10. The owner told me I had to order this as a topping, but that's not possible with calzones... so €10 for two containers of cold sauce and some lukewarm arugula... It's truly absurd to charge the customer this much. How do you mean making extra money at the expense of the customer? I won't be eating or ordering here again. Lost a customer... Too bad.

This small, charming restaurant has a warm, vintage atmosphere. The pizza is authentically Italian with a light, tasty crust, and the salad is rich and fresh. We really enjoyed our visit—the staff is very friendly and welcoming. We definitely want to come back to try the pasta next time. Note: the kitchen closes at 9 PM, so it’s best to arrive early if you want pasta.

Unfortunately, we had yet another disappointment at Pulcinella last weekend. My husband has a nut allergy, so we always have to be very careful when we eat out (takeout). We mentioned this no fewer than four times when ordering so the message would be clear: the pizza absolutely had to be nut-free. The "danger" was the pesto. Pesto is traditionally made with pine nuts, but unfortunately, some manufacturers have replaced them with cashews. The chef assured us that his was made with pine nuts. We even double-checked when we picked up the pizza, but again, we were told it was safe for my husband to eat. But alas... when we got home, we tried a small test by first tasting a pinch of pesto. And sure enough, an immediate allergic reaction. Naturally, we immediately contacted the restaurant by phone, but the chef was busy and told us this was impossible. No apology, no compensation. We won't be returning!

I have visited this restaurant a couple of times and the pizzas are consistently amazing, fresh, flavorful and with a truly authentic Italian taste. quality ingredients and the crust is perfect. The only downside is that despite having a board listing several varieties of tiramisu it’s never actually available. It’s a bit disappointing especially when you’re looking forward to finishing a great meal with a classic dessert. That said the food quality keeps bringing me back Just hoping to finally try the tiramisu one day!

It strikes me deeply. An ode to what once was Pulcinella... There was a time when Pulcinella felt like a postcard from Italy, where the smell of freshly baked pizza mingled with the soft sounds of Vivaldi, where you, while sitting under the yellowed photos of Naples, forgot for a moment that you were still on Dutch soil. A table for two was a journey back then, not a reservation. But times change, just as wines can oxidize and summer light sometimes makes way for cold neon lights. Since the takeover, Pulcinella has lost its soul to a chef with an ego that would make even Berlusconi blush. Three times I have tried it, three times I have returned hopefully to a memory and three times I have left disappointed. Not full of pasta, but of regret. The staff, once warm and with a touch of Italian flair, now serves with the finesse of a takeaway. Brutal in tone, hurried in action, without an ounce of charm. A smile at most disguised as sarcasm. The kitchen, once a love letter to Italian tradition, now serves a parody of itself. The plates are grand in presentation, but empty in soul. And yet, somewhere in the background, above the motionless basil plant in the window, a forgotten photo on the wall whispers of the past, of days of simplicity, hospitality and real tomato sauce. Pulcinella is no more. What remains is a façade with a familiar name, like an abandoned opera house where only echoes play.

We went there on way back from our kid’s skating competition. First of all kid had a fall and was badly hurt and our whole idea to find an Italian restaurant was for cheering her up. Instead the experience turned out to be more upsetting the whole situation. Very rude behaviour from one of the lady who says your kid cannot drink water from her bottle !! Are you serious?! Due to this my husband decided not to order his food itself! Disheartening more when the spaghetti came it. You can make better at home if you just have the bascillum sause ! Anyways giving one star just for the other lady who was atleast OK to talk with! But all in all a never go again place. No wonder the place was very quiet for the peak dine hours.

Sorry for the photo..but..I ate it all 😂💯😂 ... The glass of limoncello was left. Pizza with provola and friarielli..for my taste I would have put a little less oil but I know the law of Neapolitan cuisine.. so it's fine like this. The location is perfect for the period.. trees and a breeze that caresses the leaves and gives a sense of freshness. Superlative pizza.. I couldn't have asked for better and honestly I didn't imagine I could taste such goodness. For an Italian it's a bit expensive but still in line with local prices. I can't try one of the super tiramisu of the house..but next time I'll organize to do so.

Great Neapolitan pizzas and very nice people. I had never heard of the Garlic knots starter but it was delicious. A must for people who like Neapolitan pizzas. Reserved online with 4 people on Saturday evening. Upon arrival, the cook/owner said: "I'm busy so I don't look at that! And what's more, I don't have any pizzas because it was very busy yesterday." We will never go there again.

Pizza afgehaald, de pizza van de maand. Bij afhalen op zaterdagavond was het restaurant volledig leeg wat te denken geeft... Ik kwam 5 min na bellen aan en pizza bleek al klaar te staan in de warmhoud oven. Het betrof ook de duurste pizza. Bij thuiskomst bleek de pizza lauw en slap. Dit kan je met de best wil geen pizzaria noemen passie ontbreekt volledig, lijkt wel of ze pizza's vooruit produceren en warm houden totdat iemand iets besteld. Na het half opeten van de pizza begrijp ik volledig waarom er op een zaterdagavond niemand in het restaurant aanwezig was. Ze kunnen op deze manier de tent beter sluiten erg teleurstellend. Voor mij nooit meer naar dit restaurant.

Quite ridiculous, it looked like a comedy restaurant 😁 unfortunately I only found out after the visit that the old entrepreneur was no longer there and it was noticeable!! In view of budget cuts, the heating was turned off and it was very cold inside, certain things were not on the menu, the excuse was that it came all the way from Italy and there was no delivery this week 🥸 When serving the starters, the waitresses found, sisters, it is necessary to bicker together about the arrangement of the plates 😑 These dishes were still common... Then came the main course... thawed pasta, given the amount of liquid at the bottom of the plate in which the pasta was floating, the pizza was reasonable and that's about it!! The waitress came to the table a number of times, very annoyingly, and watched us while we were eating... whether my partner didn't want a spoon... she asked four times 😂 she thought it was strange! Take a spoon...it was simply forced to eat with a spoon She then explains that she makes her noodles with pasta…As if I care?! We quickly finished these dishes and then she came…do you want to take it with you? I'll have coffee or a dessert at home 😆 Since their world-famous Tiramisu with 64 herbs was also not available...because...All the ingredients for this come all the way from Italy and they were not delivered either 😂 So this is highly recommended if you want to be helped antisocially and feel like having a colon cleanse 🙃

I used to love this restaurant. Since the new owners and their way of customers service I prefer to pick up our pizzas and pasta then to stay there. Communication is difficult, they can't speak good Dutch or even English, they brag of their 100 kind of tiramisu but we have Never ever tried any since every time they're just not there, just eaten and even to take a simple order takes them 10 minutes because they make their own translation. I hope new Italian blood comes and takes over with Dutch speaking people.

One of the best pizzas I've eaten here in Holland, perhaps the best. the prices are average the owner is friendly, but the staff is inexperienced and slow. It's best to book a table, as the place isn't very big. Parking is thank goodness still free. A big compliment to the owner

Service poor and not cordial, she reacted offensively. Taste of dishes far below standard. Burrata floated in the olive oil with 6 pieces of tomato added. Large glass for wine with a small amount of white wine in it. Atmospheric restaurant with old junk. Definitely not like Pulcinella was before. You definitely don't get value for your money.

We were there with 12 people. Reserved, so you assume that this has been taken into account. Excellent pizza for me but other pizzas were partly burnt. A very burnt one. Asked for a plate of fries as compensation, but that was not possible, too few fries so to speak. Menu with veal escalope where the meat was not cut out properly (seed ran right through it. That's not how you cut a veal escalope according to one of the guests who had been a butcher). Waiting time is two hours between ordering and serving. Unacceptably long. A wine glass is a very large glass with a wine bottom. For that price it is an insult to the guest. Service was dramatically bad. Comments were not taken seriously. No excuses for the many shortcomings. The two ladies were not suitable for serving a large group. You can park for free in front of the door, but I hope that the quality of the pizzas and other dishes (and the service) will be improved.

Never had such a bad experience in a restaurant! We were a group of 12 people. Then you know that it will take a little longer before everyone can get their food. But the fact that it has to take 2 hours before you get your starter is extremely long. And yet 4 of us only needed one starter. When one of us said something about that, she was barked at. You couldn't order anything with salmon because it wasn't delivered. (Just get it somewhere else maybe?) When the main courses arrived almost everyone was disappointed. My partner and I had ordered Saltimbocca, which Pulcinella's previous owner managed to make delicious. But what we got was a small flat tough shoe sole with 10 fries next to it. And you couldn't get mayonnaise with your fries because the cook was Neapolitan and that's not common there! And you paid €25 for that! One of us had lukewarm pasta. The pizzas were sometimes difficult to finish and toppings such as tomatoes and ham were missing. One of our pizzas was blackened. When she said something about it, she said that this was normal because of such a brick oven. She asked for the missing pineapple on her pizza. Later a handful of cold pineapple was thrown over it. So she asked for a small portion of fries so she could still eat something because the pizza was too burnt. But that was only possible if she took a meat dish, otherwise they wouldn't have enough. Foreign. She returned the pizza to the kitchen, but it was later added to the bill. After she said something about it, the pizza was taken off the bill. My partner, who is half Italian, couldn't stand it all and went to the kitchen to complain. She spoke to the chef/owner and he was almost in tears. He admitted that he was not feeling well and that it was true that the dishes were not prepared properly and that everything took too long due to a shortage of staff. Pretty sad, but yes... There was no apology or assistance at all from the owner and staff. All in all this was a very bad experience. We were able to have some fun about it afterwards because none of us had ever experienced something so bizarre. In any case, we will never come here again.

The food was delicious, at least the pizza I ate! And the dessert too, by the way! Unfortunately, the food arrives at the table unevenly and the way you are addressed is not always exactly as it should be in a restaurant. But they are certainly friendly, don't get me wrong!

Bad experience from all sides. - Nice weather outside, but we were not allowed to sit outside. Excuse it was going to rain. Was a warm summer day, blue skies, and weather forecast was blue skies for the rest of the day. They just didn't feel like it. - Waited an hour and a half for pizza, the table in front of us (8p) had been served their pizza, eaten it and had been gone for a while before we got our pizza. Delivered to your home, they bake them in between. - We received the pizza with missing ingredients, the owner argued with us, we picked up the menu, and indeed there was ham missing. Then she came back with a handful of raw ham from the kitchen. - Being asked: did you enjoy your meal? I say: well my pizza was quite black (I had picked off as many black pieces as possible). I'm told: then you don't like this kind of pizza. Sure. Ask for feedback, then push back against it. This restaurant is hopeless. This will only improve if someone with a completely different attitude takes over. I don't see those two ladies changing anytime soon.

Best Neapolitan Pizza I have eaten in the Netherlands. Pizza for me, as italian, is something special. Pizza brings joy, Pizza IS joy, joy on a round shape with cheese, tomatoes and toppings. Forget any other fake pizza you can eat at Kebab places, Domino's, Papa Jones and so on, this is the real deal. This, dear friends, is Pizza with a capital P And if you're brave enough, ask the waitress for the "very spicy" oil, the chilli flakes or (please don't do that) the Carolina Reaper chilli sauce: pure fire all the way in... (...and all the way out, ouch) Jokes apart, highly recommend, a must try

Super tasty food and very nice service!

We ate there twice, but that is also the last time. Nothing to the detriment of the owner, but such small portions are not enough for an adult guest. That's just not okay.

The only disadvantage of the pizzas from this restaurant is that you won't want to eat pizza anywhere else in Almere afterwards.

Delicious (real) Neapolitan pizza!

Delicious authentic Neapolitan food! Pizzas, pastas and especially the focaccias are delicious. Chef Nunzio makes the best dough! The tiramisu variants are also delicious. Guests sometimes even reserve the tiramisu in advance before it is sold out. Nunzio and his team are very friendly and hospitable.

This time I ordered a pizza to pick up, called at 5:20 PM and they were able to pick it up at 6:15 PM. They had clearly been ready for a long time, but at home, 200 meters away, the temperature was really chilly. Pizzas were soggy, the base was soggy and not well done. Minimally invested. Salmon pizza was really disappointing! Lasagna was ok. But 70 euros for 4 pizzas and a tray of lasagna is simply below par! Ps don't get garlic sauce with the pizzas!

Had a delicious meal with my daughter. Service is super friendly and the pizzas are very tasty. The pizza was a little too big for my 5 year old daughter. We were asked if we wanted to take the leftover pizza with us. This was neatly packed for us. We will definitely come back!

We had dinner here with a group of friends. We had a great evening. The food and service was excellent. Would definitely recommend this place.

It took them more than 1 hour to bring us the pizza, we only had an appetizer during the wait. the reason is that they were preparing an order for take away. knowing that we were the first customer entering the restaurant!! Definitely not the best experience. we eventually took the pizzas take away

Unable to eat, ate 2 pieces because we were hungry, but threw the rest away. Possibly the worst pizza I've ever eaten.

If, as a new boss, you raze the old staff and bosses to the ground while you don't have your own things in order, it is quite sad and deeply sad for a restaurant owner... Especially to put those messages on the site.

The Pizza was good, not the best I had, but good. The location is ok but could use a makeover. The service was fast and nice.

Have 2 pizzas delivered to your home. Never seen and tasted such bad pizzas before. The bottom of the box was soaking wet. Dough was undercooked and the vegetables raw. The cardboard of the box was stuck to the pizza dough, but because the pizza was so tasteless, you couldn't taste that you were eating cardboard.

What a bad experience we had here. Had to wait an hour for the starter (i.e. a burrata with tomato because the balsamic vinegar wasn't there this time) and then had to wait more than an hour for the main course, which didn't even arrive at the same time. Two people had already finished their food when the rest arrived. All customers after us had their food before us. No saving grace or nothing. Finally, we pay and are asked to take the remaining pizza with us, which we did not want. They kept insisting because it was a shame to throw it away and gave it away in a disposable plastic container. How sweet you think, but no, then there is also 1.25 euros on the bill for that plastic container!!!!!!!! I will never come back here again! Busy due to insufficient staff, which is fine, but seeing everyone getting food who comes in later than you and no apology or further good service is missing the point in my opinion. Too bad because the food itself was actually tasty!

We hadden een heerlijke pizza. Ik koos voor een Calzone en mijn vrouw had de pizza zelf samengesteld. Als toetje een cappuccino met lekkere Tiramisu. Vriendelijke bediening. Een aanrader.

Lieve bediening, heeerlijke pizza. Prijs is prima, restaurant zat vol en was erg gezellig. Als kers op de taart mocht mijn jarige jongste zelf zijn pizza maken. 1 van de 55 tiramusu’s gegeten. Geen idee welke maar ook dat was lekker. Ijs en ijskoude limoncello erbij. Topavond. Dankjewel Nunzio.

This restaurant is absolutely not recommended. Lousy service and there was nothing in the house could only choose one dish from the two main courses. Wasn't too good either. Eat out a lot and write few bad reviews. But this is the worst restaurant ever. It used to be very good, it's a shame. She'll never see me again.
