Very happy with Park. I already knew it from the terrace, but now I've tried it inside. Great menu, urban vibe, and what's really special is that there are plenty of staff who speak Dutch and aren't afraid to make suggestions. Absolutely fantastic!

It's a nice cost joint for get together with a park view.

We had a delicious lunch here (highly recommended the Eggs Royal!) and the service was good, friendly, and efficient. I'd love to come back.

Good atmosphere, but it would be helpful if personel looked at their guests once in a while, to see if they would like to order something. I'm waving 👋 like mad here... And they just keep walking past as if the challenge is nót to notice us.

Guess I came in on the wrong night. Had to stand around awkwardly waiting to be seated before giving up and finding a place to sit, then being told I needed to sit somewhere else because of an event. Took 10 minutes for wait staff to take my drink order; then waited 30 minutes to place my food order, and eventually had to track down my waiter to ask to order food. When she finally got around to it I was told they were only serving small bites because of the event that night. Food was alright, nothing memorable; service was terrible and atmosphere was loud and unwelcoming. Also got no napkins.

I’m a regular customer here and the place is great. Food and service are good, and it’s a beautiful place overlooking the park. I just wish the bathroom mirrors were a bit longer, so that people who aren’t so tall could see! Hahaha

Business lunch, service was fast and pleasant, but the price-quality ratio was a bit off for what you get. Some rather limited choices with relatively small portions, unfortunately. However, it was exceptionally tasty and attractively presented on the plate.

This was our children's birthday celebration here for the fourth time, and we can only say it's fantastic. Every time, the staff is so kind and attentive. Everything is perfectly organized, giving us time to enjoy such a beautiful day. Highly recommended!

A beautiful terrace, nestled under the trees with a lovely view of the park. The service is friendly and helpful. The food is reasonable in quality and taste, but unfortunately not outstanding. The salad, for example, could be prepared with much more care. With a little more attention, it could be much better.

Perfect service, and a delicious lunch...

It all started well in a very pleasant setting with rather neat decor. We ordered a plate of charcuterie for 2 at €16. It was small and industrially produced, without even a slice of bread. We then ate an Iberian pork dish. Unfortunately, the side dish consisted of two small pieces of potato and four cherry tomatoes. The meat was good for the four bites I managed to eat amidst the fat... if you're hungry, move on because at €29 a dish, it's a rip-off. I told the server I was unhappy, but since the problem was the quantity and not the taste, they didn't offer me anything!

Nice, friendly and professional staff to attend n a comfy, relaxed and airy atmosphere. Food was just Ok but clearly overpriced We may not come back fro food but surely for the amazing terrace over Oosterpark, on a sunny hour/day!

The terrace looked festive with pots of blooming hydrangeas between nicely set tables. The service was friendly and courteous and the food was fine. The only thing we missed was a small appetizer in advance, e.g. in the form of some bread and olive oil.

Service is always mediocre here. Inexperienced team and you often wait long. Location is great, especially the terrace is lovely. Food is good. Also enough vegetarian options.

The food wasn't particularly good for the price, wasn't well presented. And there was slow service. It took a long time for us to even be seen. The drinks weren't yet served to the meal. We needed bread with our meal because there were no other side dishes. It took very long to get it, and only after repeated requests. We left hungry. The restaurant aims to be high-quality, but can't quite deliver.

Great food in an exceptionally beautiful location. The Reuben sandwich had the tastiest sauerkraut I've ever eaten. If I was ever going to say a place is romantic, this is that place.

We eat dinner with my husband we do like everything, it was the best sea bass which i ever eat .

Vine por unos bocadillos y vino. Me dijeron que solo podíamos tener alimentos fritos y queso (no la charcutería que pedimos). El queso venía como una montaña de cubos con una olla de mostaza. Pedimos galletas saladas o pan, y nos dijeron que esto no era posible. Luego vimos a un ratón correr por el restaurante. Una experiencia cara y desagradable.

Had a wonderful dinner and lunch here during my stay at Hotel Arena. The Risotto was outstanding. Great location by the park. Absolutely recommend!

A Longtime Favorite with Great Views and Friendly Service. I’ve been coming to Park Café-Restaurant at Hotel Arena in Oosterpark for years, and it’s still one of my favorite spots in Amsterdam. Whether you’re sitting inside or out on the terrace, the setting is always beautiful – especially with the view over the park. The staff are consistently friendly and welcoming, which really adds to the relaxed and pleasant atmosphere. Their homemade lemonade is super nice, the burger is always a solid choice, and they make a really good matcha – which is surprisingly hard to find in most places. While some of the lunch options can feel a bit pricey for what you get, the quality of the food is always good, and the ingredients are fresh. All in all, it’s a lovely spot for a relaxed lunch, a casual meeting, or just a break in the park – definitely worth a visit.

30 minutes before having a waiter coming to me (terasse half empty) ice coffee with more than half of the beverage being ice cubes (it was a shot of coffee in a big glass for 4,50€ in the end. Waiter and waitress looked stone as they don’t even understand difference between small (20cl) and big (75cl) bottle of water. Really nice place but service is really bad

Nice looking place, with the parc view but the food is very basic. We had a charcuterie board, vegetables on the side and the risotto. I would only recommend for a drink

Good place to have a drink in the sun on a nice day. It was quite busy and the service was doable. It’s not preferable to have a server wait until you finish your food to tale away the plates though. Overall a sufficient place to sit after a walk in the park.

After a nice walk we went for a drink and ordered a cake. It was super busy on the terrace, so we could only sit inside. But it was just after lunchtime, by the time we left there was a lot more seating available. The mocktail had a reasonable taste. The tarts tasted old. I have tasted Holtkamp cakes before and this was really substandard. The staff was friendly and hospitable. So I would come back here again, but then to order something different. It is a nice place to sit for a while.

We were there for my grandmother's birthday, very well looked after and received a warm welcome! We had a very tasty meal and even received chocolates and a card at the end. Definitely recommended!

The food was nice! It was good value for the money. Service was ok but nothing special.

30 minutes to bring a cup of coffee and a big mouth from the staff when I dared ask for it. In a more or less empty restaurant. The location is lovely but the staff are uninterested and rude to the point of being aggressive. Not a pleasant experience and I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone.

No gluten free options on the cake bar, but they all looked amazing. Food bites on offer looked delicious. We had late night cup of tea and a lovely glass of wine. Very cosy atmosphere and the entrance before the restaurant has a great sharing seated area around an open log burning fire pit. The elegance of the restaurant is matched by the wait staff who are very welcoming and helpful.

The service was quite slow, it took a good 15 minutes until we got the card. And on the terrace, wooden furniture is rotten, as you can see in many corners. Neither of these fits with the claim that the Arena Hotel wants to convey.

Very pleasant visit, everyone was positive about the atmosphere, service and menu. Unfortunately, it later turned out that the four people who had ordered the Eggs, prepared in different ways, found that 1 egg each was "running" and the other was almost hard. That was a real shame. We will still be happy to come back, assuming that it is not just that 5 Eggs are ordered at the same time.

Very friendly and helpful staff, tasty food and a beautiful restaurant with a beautiful terrace overlooking the Oosterpark

The restaurant is part of a hotel but its location is within one of the parks in Amsterdam city centre. It’s a really nice setting and an equally nice restaurant. The service on the day was good and we ordered an amazing vegan burger that was quite different from the usual ready-made vegan burgers we usually get. So this was a welcome change. We enjoyed our dinner and find the spot really nice.

Had a very nice afternoon in the beautiful garden of the restaurant to celebrate my birthday with friends. The location is very nice and not too busy. The staff was also friendly 😊

We were really well served, the food is delicious and it is a nice environment (we sat on the terrace): a really good restaurant (not cheap but you get what you pay for ;-) )

A huge piece of white plastic was inside the Cesar’s salad. When we brought it to their attention, they didn’t provide a good explanation or really apologize. They changed the salad and that was it. The service is very bad even though we have given it a few chances. We waited 15 to 20 minutes to order the food and in the end after a long wait we had to chase the waitress to bring the check. We don’t recommend that restaurant. The service is too bad and they let other objects in the food they serve.

Food was very nice, but portions were rather small - for a menu of 54 euro p.p.. Also, one modest slice of bread (starter) for every 3-4 persons wasn't exactly lavish. I saw around us food being served in bog portions of fries or roundish filled plates. That got me thinking. Apart from that: great service, good atmposphere.

Great unique place to have drinks and eat

Set within the Hotel Arena where we had a 4 night stay, this is a very pleasant and smart restaurant and bar. We eschewed breakfast as it seemed overly expensive, but used the bar a couple of evenings and one night had dinner, which was very satisfactory. There was a reasonable, (but not huge) range of food for dinner. We both opted for the Haddock cassoulet which was extremely tasty. The predominantly young staff were friendly and gave good service. Prices were not cheap, but nor were they anywhere in Amsterdam which is to be expected in such a tourist hot-spot.

The food was excellent, really incredible. The flavors were great. The wait staff were all incredibly good, polite and helpful. Highly recommend this restaurant.

Heerlijk gegeten op een mooie plek. Het restaurant is mooi aangekleed en heeft een relaxte sfeer. Het eten was heerlijk van smaak met goede combinaties. Uitstekende prijs-kwaliteit verhouding! Ik was met mijn man en dochtertje van 6. Mijn dochtertje is nogal druk maar het restaurant biedt alle ruimte en de bediening was heel lief & vriendelijk. Er is overigens ook een kindermenu. Niet heel uitgebreid maar voldoende keus. Heb hier in ver verleden eerder gegeten en was ok maar deze x heel aangenaam verrast!!

Nice spot on the edge of the Oosterpark to recharge after a walk. The restaurant has a luxurious appearance and a pleasant, quiet atmosphere. We ordered some lemonades and the vg bitterballen. It took a very long time to get our drinks, but it was exactly what we needed on a hot day. The bitterballen were filled with different vegetables and tasted very good.

Enjoyed lunch at PARK again. On the terrace in the sun, a delicious carpaccio sandwich.

We hebben hier koffie en thee gedronken. Mooie locatie aan het Oosterpark, vriendelijke bediening. Gemberthee was goed. Prijzen waren misschien wat je kunt verwachten in een vier-sterrenhotel, maar de café latte was wel erg klein uitgevallen (elders krijg je meestal meer). Helaas ook nog flink bijbetalen voor de duurzamere optie van sojamelk, waar meerdere grote koffieketens dit beschouwen als niet meer van deze tijd. Verder leek de sojamelk gezoet en over wel of geen suiker wil ik zelf kunnen beslissen.

Great place situated in the park. Food and coctails are good, and when the weather is good sitting outside is a must. Service is sometimes slow, but overall polite and friendly.

Nice spacious place next to the park, very green inside and outside, as if you were out of the city for a while. The bouncer and avocado sandwich were delicious, just as they should be. Service super nice and friendly. All in all I was positively surprised, a really nice place

Unfortunately not 5 stars, but we still had a wonderful evening in a beautiful place. The young staff was friendly and courteous, but a bit careless. We ordered 3 oysters as a starter, which we wanted to share. We got 3 oysters per person. Luckily these were very tasty. Unfortunately, we have to describe the P O R N Star Martini we ordered as the worst we have ever drunk. The food was very tasty. We then switched to another cocktail. Lilly Beth. He was very good for that.

Hele leuke avond gehad. Super service en heerlijk gegeten. Hele goede bediening en vriendelijk. Enige nadeel was dat er maar 1 launch plek was om gezellig te borrelen.

Food is very good, but service is not great

I joined my mother and father in law for two drinks on Wed 6th Dec around 7pm. A slight mistake was made on the bill so we had to discuss it with the staff. The reaction to this mistake really ruined our experience. One male waiter turned to his colleagues and was quite dismissive when he thought he could not see/hear us and said, "that's not how our system works." We showed the bank transaction that proved a mistake had been made and they told us not to worry and that the mistake had been fixed. My father in law was expecting an apology for the inconvenience, the waiter apologised quickly (and insincerely) and walked to the other side of the bar. We could see him talk about us to his colleagues and we saw the waitress rolling her eyes. A mistake on the bill is something quite minor and nothing to worry about. The mistake was fixed so that's why it is two stars and not one star. The way these staff members handled the situation was incredibly immature and it lacked an appropriate level of professionalism. In future, they should be more aware of how they interact with one another in front of customers.
