Patisserie Atlas in Hoofdweg e.o.

Very nice place to eat or drink something! So definitely recommended. This was the first time, so we only ordered a croissant and a tea, but we will definitely do it again. Compared to the other places in the area, the quality is better, you pay a little more for it, but I don't mind that. So I think price-quality is fine. What's great is that there is a lift for disabled people so they can go to the toilets on the 1st floor. Upon entering we were greeted kindly and were able to take a seat. It took some time before we could order because the other staff didn't realize we were there. That was one of the negatives. But we were then kindly addressed and helped. We ordered the almond croissant and a chai. Croissant was nice and warm because it had just been freshly baked, so very fluffy. And the chai tasted great, just a little too sweet for my taste. The staff is very friendly and helpful and also gives good advice. You get what they indicate, so that's very nice. Another downside was that the toilets were not very tidy. But other than these minuses, a nice place to sit for a while. I think you can also sit here when the weather is a little better. You can order all kinds of dishes and drinks from breakfast to late lunch.

Food was good but not good enough to justify the price

Gosh, what a shame about this place. Used to come here regularly, but due to long-term illness I haven't been for a while, but unfortunately I won't be back. Combination of loud/not very atmospheric music, service that gives you the feeling that they don't really feel like it, not allowed to sit in the corner benches unless you are a group of 6 (was never a problem before) and an avocado toast with a poached egg, which was so small (end of the bread), it was just embarrassing and then asking 11 euros for it. I don't necessarily need to be treated like a queen, but this goes the other way, too bad.

15 minutes in line and when it's your turn they say the fries are gone, when you advise them to hang up a note, they say it's busy... and the joke... this is already the 6th time haha. Never go there again
