The premises are cute but very small. The food and drinks were not very good and for the price it was not worth it.

pricy for a soft serve. i got the açai soft serve in a cone and it wasn’t great. lady at the front didn’t acknowledge me even though i was at the front of the line…

Drinks overpriced and rude service. 5.95€ for this drink called « LEMON SQUASH REFRESHER - Lemonade made with lemon and mint ». This is basically tap water (she filled our glasses from the sink in front of me), 3 ice cubes, lemon syrup and a slice of lemon. No fresh lemon juice, no mint. When we asked about it the girl at the counter seemed very annoyed and said she can only offer us some mint to put in the drink. I used to come often but this was the last time.

Servers really impolite and could not care about clients... coffee was very bad and the tables are not cleaned between customers. Don't go here ..

We often visited this cafe but not anymore. This time, the cup they used was quit smarter than usual one and considering the price of matcha and strawberry latte(7 euros), that’s too expensive. Also they didn’t properly told me which one was coconuts milk

Avocado toast with eggs is excellent. I highly recommend trying it.

It is a pity that you are not served at the table and have to order at the counter yourself. Due to the limited space, chaos quickly reigns. The service was mediocre, and the quality of the coffee and food left much to be desired.

This premises needs an immediate food hygiene standards inspection. Avoid! The women at the counter are all touching everything with gloved hands from broken cups, bin bags, dirty dishes to fresh fruit, cakes and pastries. Gloves remained the same the entire time we were there. Makes you feel sick after eating and observing the hygiene standards in operation.

A nice café in a very central location in Amsterdam. Unfortunately, the concept is completely chaotic; on weekends, you have to expect long lines. You line up to be seated, then when a table opens, you're supposed to quickly go to the counter and order your food. You then take your own drinks to the table, and the food is brought to you. My friend got her food much earlier; she was already finished by the time I got mine. It's also very loud inside, and you can feel the tense atmosphere. The food was very tasty, but the matcha was rather below average, and not well presented either.

Not very friendly service, stood at the counter for a few minutes before the server acknowledged me or took my order. My coffee sat on the counter after being made for quite some time before it was eventually served to me. Coffee cold and served with stale piece of banana bread on the side, there are definitely friendlier cafes in amsterdam.

Matcha cookie is good but not worth €6

I don’t understand why an establishment have to charge € 0,50 for oatmilk. Most places its given freely and if its an addition it is 20 or 30 cents. So basically a liter of milk gives 5-7 coffees and the markup the consumer is charged pays for liters. The slice of cake (supposedly matcha) was € 7 I was shocked there is no matcha taste so I think its food coloring. Even in patisserie/hype bakeries 7 eur is a stretch. Mind you chocolate increased a lot, this has NOTHING with choco in it. This standard pound cake has nothing which can clarify the price for butter, eggs, sugar and probably a cheap matcha. If you buy the loaf, it had approx 7-8 slices it will cost nearly € 60. Let that just sink in your brain. It is RIDICULOUS establishments feel they can get away with these prices. The staff is ok, try their best. Btw: you have to get a seat, go back down to order, wait for your order and bring it up the steep stairs yourself. So I honestly don’t feel they can justify this place as a horeca establishment and most def cannot justify tipping. The consumer does the work and the place only wants to be cute/frenzy/content creation. And a quick turnover like cattle. Places like these were cutesy in its time but they have forgotten how authenticity and fairness works in the consumer marketplace. Moreover if the taste is below standards - ask yourself WHY and HOW is this justifiable? Why support this…. My total was € 11.25

We came here for lunch after seeing a review on tiktok. It's such a lovely place, only small but not over crowded. The food was amazing! I got the eggs Benedict which was perfect and my husband got the grilled chicken sandwich with curry mayonnaise which was so tasty and beautifully presented.

Super cute place in Amsterdam, the cakes look super good (haven't tried yet). The iced latte was super yummy 💞 I would definitely come back here for to go :)

Had a drink, tasted okay. Disappointing that we had to order downstairs at the counter and wait there until it was ready to bring it upstairs ourselves. Also clear the table ourselves afterwards. In addition, the staff kept speaking Spanish among themselves, didn't feel very accessible. Wouldn't come back anytime soon.

Todas las chicas del personal eran absolutamente groseras, nos fuimos antes de la ordenación. Actúan como si no estuvieran allí y el ambiente es muy tenso. No estoy acostumbrado a que me traten así, así que no recomiendo este lugar. Absolutamente poco profesional.

The pancakes are truly disgusting, the chocolate used is industrial (the kind some people put on ice cream) truly inedible. Okay, the place is very Instagrammable, but the welcome and the food leave something to be desired, a big disappointment. Move on!

Drinks were digustiung they look pretty but it only milk no flavpur. And workers were very rude....never again.. super overprised too 8 euro for a latte.

Service 0, not even a smile, a hello or goodbye. Vague explanations and given with his back turned by an unfriendly waitress who doesn't even take the time to welcome customers (the place was almost empty). With prices this high, don't expect 4-star service: it's up to customers to come down to take their orders, and clear up. Fortunately the waitress comes up to serve us our dish all the same, of course, while remaining impassive. Save your money and move on.

A Matcha without matcha, avocado toast did not taste like avocado. Noisy atmosphere.

Cold food, served not neatly and awfully, the taste was regular and nothing special or worth the money. It was extremely expensive. My friends and I ordered only one dish and drink per person, we paid above 22€. Their matcha is horrible. Totally overhyped place. Don’t waste your money and time.

¡Vaya que me sorprenden las otras críticas! Tuvimos un tiempo fantástico en Pluk. Había visto TikTok’s sobre este restaurante y era uno de los mejores lugares para visitar en mi lista. Llegamos cerca de la apertura y no tuvimos problemas para conseguir un asiento. Nos dieron un menú y nos animaron a volver y ordenar en el mostrador, esperamos por nuestras bebidas y luego nos sentamos - nuestra comida fue traída a nosotros. La comida estaba deliciosa y bien preparada, la matcha de fresa era para morirse! El personal era todo agradable y el servicio tan rápido teniendo en cuenta que hay un pequeño personal. A medida que pasaba el tiempo (más cerca de 10 - 10 : 30 ) las filas se hicieron largas y los asientos eran muy limitados pero personalmente tuvimos una gran experiencia y me encantaría volver

The staff does not make contact and was not that friendly. We ordered egg/avocado on sourdough bread twice and we received one with sourdough and one with brioche bread without any consultation. I wasn't very happy with that.

The service level dropped a lot! They are not hygienic any more (same towels they clean tables, they clean the cups) the coffee is horrible and they serve really bad. 5€! ( the picture is a caramel macchiato … where is the milk?) For a coffee, they speak about clients with friends and collegues in not respectful way. The girl in the cashier using her phone instead of helping the barista… touching food without gloves… Never again…

Very narrow stairs, it smelled like rotten eggs. It wasn't busy, and even the tables and toilets were dirty. I have never tasted such a disgusting cinnamon. Almost impossible to mess up something so simple. It tasted chemical like I was taking a bite of paint. Even the fruit topping (blackberries) tasted like plastic. Cutlery had also never been washed I think.. also incredibly expensive for what you get. Don't follow this tiktok hype!!

Nice place with nice service but the food is average. Poached eggs were cold, so pre-made, and they could have done better with a chainsaw on the toast under the avocado. Carrot cake was very dry.

We zagen deze tent op TikTok voorbij komen en zag er erg aangenaam uit. We kwamen hier voor ontbijt. Het viel ons al op dat de bediener totaal niet vriendelijk was. Ze vertelde niet dat je beneden moest bestellen dus waren we lang aan het wachten. Ook moest je zelf je vaat wegbrengen wat normaal niet gebruikelijk is. Dit wordt je ook niet verteld. Wat ook vreemd was dat je op je drinken moest wachten bij bestellen en het eten alleen gebracht werd. Daarnaast was het eten vreselijk. De eieren waren nog rauw en zat er bladluis in de thee. De presentatie was goed alleen de uitvoering erg slecht. Laat je niet snel beïnvloeden door sociaal media

I've had carrot cake at so many places and I've never had a bad carrot cake like the one from Pick. It doesn't taste like carrot cake at all, it was very dry and it tastes more like a cinnamon cake. Plus the Cream cheese frosting has no taste, it's not sweet at all or anything really terrible!!!!

Banana bread was super stale which is unfortunate for the very expensive price. Also young lady at the cashier placed the utensil of my banana bread on my plate by grabbing it by the tines 😅

Beaten to death cappuccino, carrot cake was still frozen. When my friend returned with the carrot cake, he was treated very disrespectfully, no apology was given and we had to understand that it takes a day to defrost the cakes (I don't think that's our problem). It's ridiculous that they sell frozen cake and then react so antisocially when you say something about it. The staff also started laughing at my friend. Paid 25 euros for two cakes and coffee, plus this behavior. We will never come back.

A tiny cozy cafe in the hustling streets of Amsterdam. It has a great ambience, superb coffee and food and a beautiful, warm, cozy and lit up atmosphere. A must visit if you are looking for a great warm place for brunch and coffee.

Would not recommend this place, very rude, it’s self service even though they didn’t mentioned it which left us with cold coffee.

Excellent food and attentive services We arrived before the cafe open. The chef offered us to sit first and wait for the cafe open at 9:30am. He was very kind and polite. The french toast is a must try. They have also accommodated our request to have all sauces on the side. Will definitely come back next time.

Nice place with lovely christmasy atmosphere, looks great from the outside but very disorganised, with rude and disrespectful staff, high prices, and poor coffee (pumpkin spice iced latte and cinnabon iced latte barely had any coffee or flavour). However, my ratings do not reflect the quality of the food, so perhaps that may be better. Otherwise, the low ratings seem well-justified.

Not sure why the reviews are so bad here. The staff were friendly, the cafe is so cute and the food is delicious! They should definitely have a higher google rating. I had the beetroot hummus and my husband had the same with a few extras. Can’t fault this cute little cafe!

A must try for breakfast. Egg benedict is extremely filling. After you order, you bring the drinks yourself and they bring the food. Find a place to sit first and then order. If you go between 10-11, you will find a comfortable place. It starts to get crowded after 11

Great breakfast. Nice atmosphere. Polite and friendly staff. Coffee is not to the same standard as the meals but acceptable. Weekday mornings is best to sit inside as outside is noisy and busy with cars/vans.

The food is very delicious and the plating is creative. The service is very poor, they need more personnel to be faster and efficient. The space is small but if you go in not a busy hour you have a good chance to find a free table.

Way too expensive for what you get. Fresh ginger tea, 4.50 euros. There are 3 pieces of ginger in the tea. Bowl same story, looks nice and tastes good, but the filling is really minimal, little topping and quite expensive. In addition, it is Self-service. You also reserve your own table and have to order at the counter and pick up your own drink. Too expensive, poor quality and service. They also do not accept cash, it is not stated anywhere. Not even on the door. There are already several customers who want to pay in cash and are refused.

Afgelopen zaterdag met mijn man samen Pluk bezocht voor een kop koffie en wat lekkers. Ik kende het van Instragram, maar het is echt overhyped. Je krijgt bij binnenkomst een menukaart mee en je kan boven een plaatsje uitzoeken. Dit zag er rommelig uit. Verder vragen ze je beneden te bestellen. Maar als je (in ons geval) koffie besteld met iets van zoetigheid, krijg je het direct mee. Het wordt dan nog wel voor je op een dienblad gezet. Maar daarna moet je met gevaar voor eigen leven de gevaarlijk smalle rottrap op naar boven. En dat met een dienblad vol! En dat terwijl je dat niet gewend bent om te doen. Met het gevolg dat ik zelf heel boven ben gekomen. Maar dat wel de helft van onze koffies ernaast lagen. Dit was echt geen leuke ervaring. Heb echt doodsangsten gehad dat ik het bijna helemaal over mezelf heen had gegooid. Vervolgens kun je het ook nog eens zelf opruimen in een bak. Nee echt geen Pluk meer voor mij!

The place is cozy, the food is delicious and fresh, and the music is nice and super relax —perfect for enjoying a nice breakfast or even lunch any day. I would come back again and again.
