Non discuto i prezzi perché erano esposti e quindi abbiamo accettato però vi giuro che è stata la pizza più scadente che io abbia mai mangiato per non parlare degli spaghetti Amatriciana che non lo erano assolutamente ma si sentiva solo aglio che tra l'altro non è previsto, abbiamo chiesto del formaggio grattugiato e non è mai arrivato. Abbiamo mangiato per fame, so che è brutto da dire ma questo è gettare fango sulla cucina italiana,se non si è capaci si fa altro

Perfect intersection of price and quality/quantity! Ideal place to take my 4 kids while on vacation and not break the bank. They loved the simple yet delicious pizza magherita. We went twice and would happily go again!

We ate an excellent pizza here and were warmly welcomed by the service (English speaking, but not in Amsterdam these days...).

Very good takeaway meals and little wait: less than 15 minutes for 2. Generous quantity and quality. Even the homemade hot sauce was provided generously. I recommend.

To flee! The photos are misleading. The quantities are very small. A quack restaurant. Don't go there!!! On the menu outside the prices are not the same as those inside. We paid €14.95 for a frozen pizza, it’s a shame. The pizza is the size of a leaf and dry as hell. If there were 0 stars I would have given it.

Food was very bland and paid €20 for 8 pieces of plain flavorless ravioli. Was so disappointed had to garnish my own food with salt and pepper, such a waste for €20. Will not be returning

The truth is that it is the typical tourist trap where you go for the “cover”. If you are a tourist, I will avoid reading the menu because most of the things will not be there, it will be an excessive price without quality or quantity. We feel cheated.

Fantastic atmosphere, friendly and fast service. Portions may seem a bit small sometimes, although I personally find them quite filling (and I'm quite a big eater). Recommended if you don't want to spend too much!

Not a nice atmosphere. The food was sparse and not filling. They heat up a lot of ready-made food from a can. The Fanta of 3.90 is a brand x fanta in a small glass. I recommend grilled steak without sauce. The lettuce you get with it is less fresh.....

Disappointing experience! The prices are disproportionately high and even the portions for children are not enough. In addition, the toilet was in a very unhygienic condition. The absolute highlight, however, was that I watched the chef take off his socks and then touch the food with his bare hands without washing his hands. Such behavior is completely unacceptable and does not meet the standards that should be expected in the 21st century.

Food took 30min despite just being pasta and sauce with no other orders in kitchen, bolognaise had no mince, prosciutto had less than 1/2 a slice, charged extra for sprinkle of Parmesan. No offer of more drinks, wasn’t ever asked how the food was. Chef wandering through in dirty whites to use customer bathroom. Chipped plates. Food was tasty, but overall very disappointing, didn’t get an opportunity to tip which was the only bonus, presume they knew how bad service was.

Este restaurante se ve muy bien desde fuera y durante nuestro viaje, parecía que siempre tenía un montón de clientes, así que le dimos una oportunidad. Pero una vez sentados, nos dimos cuenta de que estábamos rodeados de clientes descontentos, que habían estado esperando su comida durante mucho tiempo. Otros no estaban muy satisfechos con la calidad de la comida o el vino. Los dos pedimos platos de pasta y los dos carecían de sabor. No parecía auténtica cocina italiana. Muy decepcionante.

I recently visited this restaurant and had a very disappointing experience. There were vegan soups on the menu, which of course really appealed to me as a vegan. Unfortunately, both soups we were served were made with cream - which is absolutely unacceptable. When we asked the waiter about it, he assured us that there was no cream in the soup. We asked further because we had clearly tasted the flavor of the cream and the color of the soup clearly indicated this. Only the second waitress finally admitted that there was actually cream in it. When we returned the barely mixed soups, we were expected to pay for them even though they did not match what was stated on the menu. The service was absolutely unfriendly and very rude. I expect at least a minimum of honesty and respect, but here we were neither taken seriously as guests nor as customers. Because of the poor service and the unclear or poor communication, I will definitely not visit this restaurant again and unfortunately I cannot recommend it to anyone who is on a vegan or lactose-free diet.

A good place to have dinner - it is well-priced for the location. The food was tasty and the service was attentive throughout. The toilets are located downstairs and are in a state of disrepair. However, aside from that I have no complaints for the price, service and food.

The waitress didn't pay any attention to us and walked past us a few times without clearing the table or asking how we were. We discovered traces of mold in our extra cheese (which we had to pay for). We were then told that it was probably oregano or parsley - so it was skillfully ignored. Nothing was changed in the final bill, we still had to pay the full price!

Appalling service at this restaurant. The waiter was shockingly rude and refused to serve tap water to my daughter even though this is apparently against Netherlands law. He then proceeded to tell her that they didn’t even have a tap.

Service very unfriendly, hardly understand English. Get your plates dirty. There was no Bolognese in the Bolognese. But the main thing was that 5kg of garlic meant that the food was no longer edible.

Cool experience! The dishes are simple but perfectly prepared. The sauce is rich in flavor and the portions are just right. The staff is friendly and the atmosphere is cozy. Definitely recommended for pasta lovers!

Yeah, what can you write, non-carbonated drinks (beer and cola), Starter was disastrous, olives from the jar... served in a bowl with a bit of rocket, focacia tasted like nothing. We then continued with the noodles, no seasoning, the sauce was watery, tasteless... plus what felt like 6 cloves of garlic so that there was still some “flavor” in the beginning. Far too expensive for what you get... The only positive thing, the service was nice and friendly. Typical tourist shop… once and never again 🤦🏻‍♂️

Después de un largo día viajando queríamos un poco de comida reconfortante y encontramos pasta en nuestros viajes. Inicialmente el servicio fue rápido y nos sentamos en una mesa y tomamos bebidas, ya que se hizo más ocupado notamos una disminución en el servicio. La comida era exactamente lo que necesitábamos después de un largo día y era de un buen nivel. Nuestras bebidas tenían un sabor muy carbonatado - Fanta era muy débil y tenía un horrible post sabor. Una vez que terminamos de comer esperamos unos 30 minutos para que nuestra mesa se despejara y la factura. En total para 2 platos de pasta, 2 refrescos y un descanso de ajo costó 43 €.

The first night when we came in is when we were craving some freshly made pasta and pizza and this place did not disappoint. I thoroughly enjoyed seeing my food being prepped and getting tossed in cheese and butter and right to my plate. We ordered an Aglio olio, pepperoni pizza with garlic butter and fresh bread. Esto fue realmente la peor comida y el servicio más horrible. Después de sentarnos ordenamos brevemente mientras ordenábamos al camarero que repitiera verbalmente el pedido mal tres veces, continuamente lo corregimos, pero aún así no lo escribió. Así que cuando salió una boloñesa de espagueti cuando pedimos una lasaña, ¿podríamos sorprendernos? Dijimos que estaba mal y mientras mi madre, mi hermano y yo fuimos servidos son comidas muy decepcionantes que mi hermana esperó. Mi hermana esperó 20 minutos, momento en el que mis canelones de espinaca y ricota no comestibles (completamente secos e insípidos, por dentro estaban un poco como arena) y mis hermanos pepperoni Diavlo con 4 rodajas de pepperoni, y 3 rodajas de chile y mi madre penne que supuestamente tenía piñones pero lamentablemente no podía ser visto por nadie, se habían comido. Bueno, mi madre se comió la mitad, mi hermano se comió su pizza y yo me negué a comer la mía. Habíamos estado viajando todo el día y nuestra primera comida en Amsterdam fue horrible. Entonces llegaron mis hermanas y les dijimos que o no lo teníamos o que no lo estábamos pagando porque esperábamos tanto y la camarera dijo que sería gratis. Una vez que ella había comido esperamos 30 MINUTOS más!!! para conseguir la factura después de que le entregaran la factura equivocada DOS VECES!! Cuando finalmente llegó la factura la lasaña seguía en ella, la camarera entonces dice que no se la puede quitar porque se la había comido, fuimos muy educados dijimos que no estábamos enojados con ella simplemente no queríamos pagar por tan terrible comida y servicio pidiendo una comida libre. El gerente vino entonces, fue extremadamente grosero y finalmente accedió a quitar los canelones. La comida era horrible, el servicio era inexistente y el gerente era grosero. Soy camarera en casa, y estaba horrorizada por cómo se manejaba. Esta es mi primera reseña y la primera vez que envío comida de vuelta. ¡NO VAYAS AQUÍ! También podríamos haber salido en esos 30 minutos, ya que no había nadie alrededor o allí, pero no lo hicimos (parte de mí desearía haberlo hecho). NO pierdas el tiempo en esta porquería de comida al microondas.

Good location and it was a nice detail to receive some fries on the house. However, the food did not taste too good and the service was slow. It was not expensive. It is quite what you would expect from a touristic restaurant.

You have to pay for water. 3.60 for 0.2L. Food was bland but edible but not oveepriced. Waitress was also not friendly at all

Really disappointed! I went with my girlfriend to this restaurant thinking of eating Italian and honestly the dishes were just passable but the worst part was the service and cleanliness which were definitely not up to par. And the icing on the cake for two bottles of less than a liter we paid 13 euros!!!!! Which was more expensive than the pizza I ordered. Honestly, I don't recommend this restaurant.

Honestly don't go there... The food itself was not excellent but not bad either, but that's the only decent note... If we also forget the presentation which couldn't be more sober. In terms of service, it's complicated to find someone if you need anything, no smile, cutlery left at the end of the table and we notice that we are not at all their priority when we get noticed to pay and the person in front sees us but continues their tasks without speaking to us. In terms of prices, certainly the dishes are not expensive but STILL WATER is at a monstrous price. Finally, poor hygiene: dirty glasses, dirty tables, etc. Very bad experience.

Compatriots! Think carefully before entering this place! These Vikings dared to write the name of Italy in vain. The pizzas were wafers and never saw a grain of salt. The gnocchi would have killed Dracula and all his descendants (too much garlic). The only decent thing was the beer and maybe maybe the price.

Honnêtement la nourriture n'est pas mauvaise. On a pris une pizza et des spaghettis carbonara on a mangé correctement pour un tarif plutôt raisonnable. Le souci se situe vraiment au niveau du service ou à part réussir à nous accueillir et nous placer tout le reste a été compliqué. Les commandes arrivent à moitié fait, il faut supplier pour pouvoir avoir la note j'ai dû menacer de partir sans payer pour pouvoir payer. Clairement n'y allez pas pour le sourire vous n'en n'aurez pas. N'y allez pas non plus pour gagner du temps c'est impossible.

Dreadful. we wanted to have a lovely pasta dish for dinner on our Amsterdam holiday but instead we had spaghetti and pure garlic with horrible service. they sat us downstairs and then 10 minutes later told us we needed to move tablets upstairs, to which we did. took ages for them to take our orders and it wasn’t hugely busy as the staff were just behind the bar drinking red bull. when our food came, there were chips in our plates, pasta all round our bowls, barely any meat in the bolognaise and then i promise all i tasted was garlic. we called over the waiter to complain to say “there’s way too much garlic in this” he said “okay thank you” and walked off. we had our plates by us for 50 mins before they took them away and didn’t ask how it was. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND

It was delicious as usual. If you are very hungry and want to prioritize cost performance over taste, I think you will be satisfied. It was about 30 euros for pizza, pasta and beer. Pizza and beer or pasta and beer cost less than 20 euros, so I think it's cheap for the Netherlands. The pizza dough was thinner than I expected, and it felt a little like Saizeria😇 However, personally, I was able to eat a lot until I was full, so I have no complaints.

Very nice location. The food is pretty great, we ordered a mushroom mozzarella pizza that freshly baked and it’s unexpectedly good. Just we waited the food for an hour, but it was totally fine if we are not too hungry. Overall is an advantage 5/10.

0/5, pire restaurant de ma vie : un accueil déplorable, une personne sur deux a la table n’avait pas de couvert, des pizzas dont le carton d’emballage aurait probablement été meilleur, des pâtes proche d’une bonne bouillie des familles, et pour finir on a pas le temps de terminer l’assiette que les serveurs lèvent déjà les couverts. Verdict : à fuir !

A fuir ! Les pizzas sont en carton. La présentations des assiettes de pâtes ne vaut pas mieux que les croquettes que mets dans la gamelle du chien. Les gérants sont gracieux comme des portes de prison. Je recommande ce restaurant juste pour aller pisser un coup éventuellement.

Our experience at PastaPasta was disappointing overall. While we were drawn in by positive reviews highlighting its affordability, our visit did not meet expectations. Upon arrival, we were greeted with indifference and seated promptly, which was a positive start. However, ordering became problematic when I requested a simple Pasta Pomodoro (pasta with tomato sauce) without onions due to dietary restrictions. The server seemed reluctant and unhelpful, pushing a more expensive option with bacon and onions instead of accommodating a straightforward request to modify a less expensive dish like Pasta Arabiata by removing the spice for a nominal charge. Unfortunately, my pasta arrived with large onion pieces despite my request. It was bland and overpriced for what essentially seemed like plain tomato sauce with onions added. Additionally, my friend's pizza was excessively greasy, making her feel unwell, and she ended up leaving half uneaten. Throughout our meal, the service was lacking. We were not checked on or asked if everything was satisfactory, unlike other tables that received attentive service. Even during payment, the cashier did not inquire about our experience. While the ambiance and cleanliness were acceptable, the restroom cleanliness was subpar. Compared to other pasta places we tried during our visit to Amsterdam, PastaPasta fell short in terms of flavor and value for money. Overall, our visit left us unimpressed and unlikely to return.

I am a solo traveller and had dinner here earlier tonight. Excellent tasty homemade Pasta!! So simple but sooo flavoursome. Reasonably priced and good portion. I sat at the window and watched crowd for long while drinking draught Heineken! Loved the whole experience ❤️

The service was ok. But nothing else does. Filthy smelly restroom. It was very, very far from the Italian cuisine. The carbonar was the cheapest Alber Hejnes bacon. The "Italian" pizza is not even worth mentioning. Just because it's flour and water doesn't make it. Also, the only thing I could say about locally made pasta is that just because the pasta is opened and cooked locally does not make it homemade. The menu I received last year had food stains on it.

Not the best quality. The spinach-ricotta rigattoni was flavourless, plain tomato sauce without any spice, the filling wasn’t much better, still without any spice just bitter. The carbonara was ok, but I had way better ones. The toilet was bad, smelt like broken pipe and pee. The server came with our check, put down the card reader in front if us, and started serving new people while he was (suppost to be) serving us. 40 euros for 2 beers and 2 pastas is overpriced, especially with this quaility. Would not reccomend.

Completely changed my kind 3rd time coming back, service was awful and it wasn't even busy. They forgot part of order which meant one sat eating without the others. Won't be back again.

For what is on offer, the prices are far too high, even for Amsterdam standards (I thought I would at least get a pint for €7, but I almost fell over when 0.25l came. Food wasn't much better either)

Sono stata in questo ristorante con amici essendo che ci aveva colpito la scritta pizza e pasta homemade, ma purtroppo è stata un’esperienza poco piacevole. Abbiamo comandato delle pizze e degli gnocchi, la pizza era insipida e all’impasto mancava sale, è bassa e per niente piacevole al gusto. Abbiamo inoltre chiesto del formaggio e ci è stato detto che avremmo dovuto pagare di più, abbiamo accettato ma il formaggio è arrivato dopo 20 minuti…gli gnocchi erano già finiti praticamente. Inoltre le bottiglie d’acqua sono da 0.2 cl, non danno caraffe ne bottiglie più grandi, ma attenzione perché poi nel magazzino davanti al bagno è pieno di bottiglie grandi da 0.75 cl!! Questo posto è tutto tranne che italiano, vergognatevi!! Non venite, sconsigliatissimo, inoltre i camerieri svogliati.

Now I remember why I have to check reviews before I go somewhere. Service is fast, but the food is all very bland, too easy and not worth the price. Everything will be a bit more expensive in the city center, but 6 euros for a bottle of Fanta... well. Pizzas were bland and the pasta was soaked in the oil too much. People go here for the quick money, because it is all prepared quickly and on again! There is no shortage of customers yet. My wife is now having trouble with her stomach. Once, but never again!

The Saltimbocca alla Roma was truly unbelievable. As if the meat was boiled instead of fried! Service is not good, we were not asked about drinks. The waiters look grumpy, we didn't see them smile at anyone once. The ice tea I ordered was served in the bottle with a straw. Here too we had to ask for a glass with ice. We had to get our own cutlery. There was no toilet paper in the ladies' toilet and one toilet was full of vomit. No, never here again and absolutely not recommended.

Good pizzas and service but toilets were not fine. I tried pizza diavolo and it tasted good. The crust was also nice. The hygiene can be definitely improved. The drinks were fine and card payments are accepted. The food arrived rather quickly than expected. I would not recommend this place unless you're really hungry.

Für die kleinen Portionen sind die Preise zu hoch. Ist nichts besonderes, das Essen hat okay geschmeckt. Die Bedienung war leider auch nicht so nett. Wir würden nicht noch einmal hin gehen. Obwohl es von außen / sowie auch von einen süßen und gemütlichen Eindruck gemacht hat.

We’re recommended Pasta Pasta by some American friends on the train. They talk a big talk to hype up the restaurant, but we found it pretty mid. Had worse, had much better.

We were looking for a convenient place to have dinner near our hotel and stumbled upon pasta pasta. This place is in the center of Amsterdam, close to very popular attractions. The food was very filling and yummy. We’d also like to give a special shoutout to the man who runs the operation, Salim! He was extremely caring and made sure that we’re satisfied not only with the food, but also the service. For anyone who’s in Amsterdam, please give this place a shot as it will not disappoint you!
