We were fishing on the IJ in front of the door. Had a delicious burger, had a nice sit down with a beer. and a Perfect service! Fast, attentive and friendly young man serving. You rarely see that kind of service anymore

The food maybe not very delicious, still ok I must say, but the staff there are very friendly and helpful.

Went in for a quick meal, II finished it really quickly, while watching the people through the window. Devoured it all really quickly!

The restaurant is located inside the station just in front of Hema and it offers a very delicious burgers in a good quantity for a good price let’s have our super amazing and polite and they also have a Hanon menu which basically includes the vegetarian options and chicken

We were eating and drinking. I had a headache and put my head on to the table for a minimum of 30 seconds. It is very disgusting to yell at costumers!! Moreover after we ordered sth… The Food tasted like frozen up. DON‘T SHOUT TO YOUR COSTUMERS! We will never ever come back!

very central location for visitors. I tried Old Amsterdam Burger with a local triplet beer. The taste of both were wonderful. The staff was very kind.

The Service, a young man, was incredible: helped us sort things out (without the App), gave good tips and was very polite and attentive. The food was very tasty, a treat for the fingers and tasty fries. And for that a very reasonable price. Definitely recommend.

Burgers were fine, had ants in my drink so if I ordered another 'more expensive' drink I ended up having to pay for that more expensive drink. Staff was very unfriendly, they almost didn't feel like it. Not recommended

To whom may concern , I would like to bring in your attention that today, 21.11, around 5 pm I have entered in your location situated in Amsterdam Centraal, with the intention to order a burger to take away. I have scanned the menu at the entrance and when I have approached a staff member in order to clarify the order procedure as clearly instructed on your sign by the entrance she replayed ( blonde lady with curly hair ) in a rude manner that take away orders are not possible because they are very busy. In that moment in the restaurant they were not more than 20 guests …. After I have asked what is the difference between sit in or take away she replied again in a rude manner that where they are busy are not taking any take away orders if I want something I need to sit and is her right to refuse to serve me . Really !!!! After 17 years in the hospitality business I was never treated that bad never , ever by a staff member all over this world. You should take in consideration some actions because most probably that’s why the location was empty at that time . And agin, with high expectation which I had before stepping you door, I’m completely disappointed and disgusted about this incident . Ps: I have visited your location in Rotterdam and there you have a different approach to your gusts ! Very sad and disappointing !

4 strong staff behind the bar - not busy, no work - 2 tables occupied, and upon arrival a total ignore mode... nope, no burger for me.

Working at a disabled living group, I was out today with one of my residents. Happy to be on the road again, completely forgot to take his stuff with him to eat (blender, (plastic) spoon, bib). My client, who cannot eat without help and only has pureed food, is therefore dependent on his mobile blender to be able to puree his food wherever he is. Because of the rain, I didn't want to walk too much in the rain and thought I would look for a restaurant from tram 26 on the IJ side that could hopefully also do pureeing. First restaurant (don't mention names) was a no. So next was the Bourgeoisie. And the young gentleman said yes with reservations, but went to ask his manager just to be sure. And yes, my client and I were able to stay for dinner. Advice was given as to what was tasty and which burger was easy to puree. Exquisite!!! Pureed to the right substance and my client really enjoyed it. Ate everything without any problems. And then we came to the drinking moment. Also forgot his drinking cup. So I quickly thought back to letting him drink again. Well they had a solution for that too and a great solution at that. He's never had a drink this smooth if you ask me. 5 stars well deserved on every level. Thank you for your thoughts and the opportunity to be out and about without resources, but still able to eat with him. We feasted and enjoyed it.

The worst burger I've ever eaten. Honestly, the atmosphere of the place and the warmth that emanates from it are pleasant. However, serving a cold burger accompanied by a simple tasteless iceberg salad, without any sauce to spice it up, and presenting a half-empty plate, is quite disappointing. Let's come to the burger, supposed to be the house specialty. I ordered a vegetarian burger, and although I understand that this type of dish may be less central in a burger restaurant, offering a flavorless vegetable patty, a dry supermarket bun like cardboard, and no sauce for it. accompanying is frankly unacceptable. It would be better not to offer a vegetarian alternative rather than serving such a mediocre dish for such an exorbitant price. I don't recommend this place to anyone looking for a quality alternative to meat. In a pinch, get the fries – they're just OK (thankfully).

It was a great ambience and the service was extremely nice and very accommodating. The food tasted very good.

De Burgerij has a beautiful location on the IJ! I loved coming in after a busy day in the city, because it had a quite peaceful atmosphere. The service is friendly and fast. I had a vegetarian chicken crispy burger. It tasted great, but I did miss some extras. Maybe a little more sauce, or caramelized onions on top. I thought it was a bit bland. Otherwise an excellent experience.

Very friendly people and great service. We were there yesterday evening and the bartender / manager helped us out to speed up our order because we had to catch our ferry. We really appreciated that. Good food as well and awesome view on the water.

Great food, comfortable, clean with a good view. Classivc burger and veggie burgers were really good. Had to order using the phone, which is annoying and maybe not great for anyone not comfortable with phones. Apart from that, all good.

A few years ago this was a really great restaurant with good quality burgers in a nice atmosphere for an affordable price. Unfortunately, those times seem to be over. The Vega burger costs 20 euros including fries and this is really unacceptable for what you get for it. A dry burger on a bun with some lettuce and you also pay 1 euro extra for the cheese... the fries are OK in terms of taste. But you can make this meal much tastier at home for a fifth of the price.

Old Amsterdam burger with fried egg supplement on top was really really lekker. I will recommend this cafe for sure.

Nice location, but we got the “you’re a tourist so WDGAF what you think” vibe. One burger was cold and dry and the cheese didn’t even think about melting. The other burger was a vegan “chicken” that had potential, but it too was dry. Fries were OK. S. Pellegrino and Coke Zero were served in small bottles for €3.30 and €3.50. I know Americans are fatties and expect serving sizes fit for a hippo (or a family of hippos)…but €3.50 for what seemed like a 200mL bottle of soda is cray. I liked the ability to scan a QR code and order from the table. Very Gen Alpha not to have to talk to anyone…especially when the food is of marginal quality (and thus overpriced).

After an afternoon of shopping in Amsterdam, my partner and I were hungry. After some wandering we arrived at the Burgerij. We had a super nice waiter, we ate some delicious burgers. We will definitely come back here!

Food was good but the waiters were rude. I almost felt like I’m doing a favour to them by ordering food. We asked for something and waiter just walked away without acknowledging. Such a shame this restaurant is probably going to be very first interaction for many visiting Amsterdam and they will meet these rude people.

Very dry burgers...cold buns and cheese not melted. Cold dry burgers. Not juicy at all. Buns not grilled, cold. Burgers dehydrated, dry and overdone. Both mushroom burger and chicken burger. Boring side salad... Zero taste, Febo quality but more expensive so in the end really bad food to be honest. Service alone ok. Food horrible. Sorry to say. I hope this can be improved because a good simple juicy burger is possible. But I guess the chef or the kitchen staff has no passion for food and quality. The place has a potential.

Citizenship, citizens for citizens. A small cozy restaurant located at the central station. You order the food via a QR code on the table and your smartphone. The food was excellent. The various burgers were perfectly prepared and seasoned. You look out over this is Holland, among other things. There is a customer toilet available

The place has a very good experience. In addition to being easily accessible from Amsterdam Central, the location offers Wi-Fi, bathrooms, good service, delicious sauces. I arrived in Amsterdam and had just gone to the other side but I missed that experience at the beginning. I'm glad I recovered before I left!

I wanted to eat something before catching my train and decided to come here as it was half empty. Asking the waiter whether there is a quite place to have a burger he literally said "not here. Go home!". Not sure whether I understood right, I asked once again whether I can have something to eat and drink and pointed at one of the many free tables. He shouted that he is alone and its not possible. Maybe it was his Sunday mood or a general anger against foreigners, but this was really disturbing.

While waiting for the train, you can eat a delicious lamb burger with a beer in a cozy atmosphere. The friendly staff works hard to make you happy. An address that I will remember when I am still in Amsterdam.

If I want a great, tasty burger or perfect fries , I will go to Burgerij without ever thinking about any other place. There are a lot of places with tasty burgers, but this place is above them all. Very fast and friendly service.

Great central location, burgers were very tasty and the service was very friendly and attentive. I can recommend the Old A'dam Burger and the Vegi Chicken Burger. We went there very spontaneously on a Saturday evening and had no problem getting a table.

I just was there. Very bad hospitality and very rude employees, I came in and no one was on the door. I tried to find a table, suddenly a rude woman started to yell at me and telling me I have to wait on the door. So I said why you are yelling at me, well I am leaving, the bar man started to laugh rudely and said “Bye Bye”

Leuk restaurantje, één van de weinige in de omgeving met een kleine speelhoek! Leuk voor de kinderen. Eten goed, personeel vriendelijk, wel onderbezetting en daarom wat onpersoonlijk maar is tegenwoordig bijna overal zo.

Het weer was ronduit slecht. Het zat niet mee en we hadden honger. Ons oog viel op de burgerij en dachten dan hoeven we toch al niet meer te zoeken... Maar wat waren we verrast nadat we allemaal iets hadden gevonden via het menu, dat op zich is al een uitdaging voor ons, hoe lekker het was. Nom nom.

The burgers were good. However, the service was absurd where I lost my mood. Not gonna visit the place again for dining. No one wants to get their food kept on the table in an impolite way. It was such a kill joy coz of the service. It doesn’t make sense if the food and ambience is great and the customer service is horrible.

Afgelopen 2 weken al 2x meegemaakt dat ze om 12uur niet open waren. Juist met mensen afgesproken daar voor het heerlijke broodje hamburger. 1x omdat ze mensen in moesten werken om 12uur? (10uur misschien doen) En nu was de manager er om 12uur nog niet die er om 11uur al had moeten zijn. Gaat schijnbaar te goed ofzo, ik spreek er niet meer af in elk geval. Niet te pijlen zo....

It is our first time in Amsterdam and decided to have a quick eat before going straight to our hotel. There were plenty of choices but decided Burgerij looked like the best option. We placed our order at 2:40pm, it is now 3:16pm and no sign that our food is even ready. There were only a few tables occupied. The staff looked like they couldn't be bothered and looked very bored. For a first time experience, this one does not bode well.

The staff does not want to remove onions from a burger I ordered. I asked politely immediately after placing the order I ordered. I basically got told they won’t change anything nor refund. I was never treated so badly at a burger joint. On top of that the steak was awful.

The environment was good, the central station , the food was normal.

Service don't exist. First you have to order yourself through QR code and no WiFi provided. If you make additional requests the servers have the audacity to ask why... like I need to show my doctors certification for dietary restrictions?

Burgerij is a conveniently located restaurant just outside the hectic corridors of Amsterdam Central station. Ordering is fast and conveniently based on a QR code, table number and pre-payment. This works well if you are in a hurry, which many are at Amsterdam Central Station. You can however always still talk to a human to place your order and pay afterwards if you have more time. The menu doesn't offer a long list of options, but the staff are very friendly and helpful, and more than happy to pass along some special wishes to the kitchen, even if you use the QR to order and pay upfront. And if you are still wondering... The burgers are of good quality and very tasty, the coffee is good, and the selections of beer carries my personal approval. 😉

Om mee te beginnen, het eten is erg lekker. Ook is de muziek erg leuk. Maar het eten wat ik op had proefde heel erg als een product dat de kok moest maken en niet eten wat de kok heeft bereid. Verder waren de medewerkers op de vloer erg aardig, maar het elektronische systeem wat ze gebruiken verplicht je te betalen na iedere bestelling. Ook al heb je alleen een biertje wil bestellen. De medewerkers kunnen dit een beetje buigen zodat je het één of twee keer kunt overslaan zodat je daarna alles kan betalen. Ook is er alleen een digitale kaart. In samenvatting, het is een leuk restaurant maar het heeft nog een aantal puntjes waar ze aandacht aan moeten besteden.
