Petit Paradis in Wijk 28 Centrum

Had a very pleasant breakfast at this laid-back, quiet spot. The atmosphere is calm and welcoming, making it a nice place to start the day without the rush you often find elsewhere. Service was kind and attentive, and the food was tasty and freshly prepared. A good little place if you’re looking for a relaxed breakfast in The Hague.

The service was really great, and so was the coffee, and that's why I was super disappointed with the "Petit Paradis" wrap, which was incredibly lazy and bad. It was essentially a few slices of tomato, with a few bits of raw halloumi (halloumi should be grilled!!), and it seemed like they had just thrown in some pieces of red peppers along with the water from the jar, so that the tortilla wrap was all soggy and wet. It was so lazy that the tortilla wrap was not even rolled, just folded in half, with everything falling out. It was absolutely tasteless and soggy, I couldn't even eat it. It felt like such a rip off, very disappointing.

What a lovely little eatery! The first time we came here, we had the Saturday morning buffet, which was fantastic. Delicious scones, cake, banana bread, yogurt with fruit and granola, and cheese sandwiches to try as much as you like (the only thing missing was some vegetables). Juice and coffee were included, fantastic! Please bring this back! We've been back many times for the delicious scones and cake, yum 😋 We also tried the tuna salad, which was also good. Everything is homemade, and you can taste it: there's real love in it. There's a lovely, homey atmosphere, the price-quality ratio is excellent, and a portion of the profits goes to charity. Highly recommended!

One of the worst places I've ever been. Everything was too much, even though other people were having lunch, we couldn't because we were "such a large group" (3 adults and 2 children). She complained about being alone, but she was standing outside chatting extensively with other people (who were allowed to have lunch). She wasn't alone, because there was also child labor (a child of max. 11 was helping with the service). What we did get, however, wasn't much better: the coffee was some of the worst I've ever had. The iced coffee was just hot coffee diluted with cold water. And the "cold milk" had either been open too long or had a long shelf life because it was sour. The banana cake was clearly not fresh. A truly disappointing "experience," if I could even call it that. Because it was actually nothing, get out of here quickly!

Gezellig plekje net uit de drukte van de stad, met fijne koffietje en heerlijke homebakes, en een ruim terras waar je heerlijk tot rust kan komen.

The cafe is hidden away in a small green oasis, besides a historical courtyard that now belongs to a local school. A great location to escape the bustle of the busy city centre and hear the birds! They serve the best flat white in The Hague. Pastries and pies are homemade. Kind staff!

Hmm, very nice place and friendly prices, but we also received a very small and simple portion. Toast avocado was on a mini thin slice of bread. Perhaps more of a place for coffee and pastries

Truly a little paradise. Very nice employees and part of a great concept. Set up by a Christian foundation, this is a meeting place for local residents, young and old. I like to come here for a nice coffee and a cake

We had a nice sit here for a drink and something tasty. It is highly recommended to go there. In the middle of a busy street, you enter an oasis of peace when you go through the door. The staff is very friendly and pleasant. And the great thing is: with the profits they support a good cause!

I had a coffee ☕️ and a cake there with a group of photographers. Everything is well taken care of, the atmosphere was cozy and the coffee and pastries made on site were very tasty. I plan to go there again soon.

Lovely place with an even more lovely host who served us home made lemon cake (best we ever had). Nice interior design and good prices. I will come back

Best breakfast and best pancakes we've had in a long time! The owner was so sweet and the atmosphere was lovely! Definitely will come back.

I thought I would order a homemade ice tea to go and take it with me. She simply boiled water with tea herbs and added cold water and ice cubes. No Lemon or a drink that had already been prepared and I PAID 4 WHOLE EUROS FOR IT :(. She also initially gave me a cup without a lid and I had to find another cup in the store with a lid to take this drink with. Outside I took a sip but it was really bad. I'll never go here again, no bad service and ridiculous prices for nonsense. I would be ashamed as a coffee shop to sell something like that If you look up a good recipe on the internet and make an ice tea with mint and lemon, you can still charge 4 euros for it.

Wat een heerlijke plek is dit. Vriendelijke bediening en super lekkere taarten. Heerlijk om rustig te zitten midden in de stad. Gewoon op het Westeinde.

This is a little gem. The atmosphere is good and you have a great time there. Peace and Attention as stated in the brochure is reality here. The coffee is fantastic. Great that the 488 foundation exists and keep up the good work

We ordered a high tea to-go for a large group (15 guests). Enjoyed this wonderfully at our own party location. Everything was TOP arranged. We look back on a successful party and a great collaboration.

You are not welcome here if you do not have blond hair and blue eyes. The owner makes you wait and pretends not to see you. Furthermore, she said words to someone sitting next to me that are really unacceptable! Very unprofessional! Not a hair on my head would think of visiting a tent with a Zionist owner!!

Today I went there with a client to celebrate her birthday with a delicious lunch. To my disappointment this did not happen. While other people were helped to their tables with orders, I had to go to the cash register myself to order. In addition, the toast I chose was not special at all. I could make this better at home. I know that food in the Netherlands is not the best, but when I go to a restaurant, I want to eat well for the price I pay. Luckily my client liked her sandwich and went for it, so I was happy for her. As far as I'm concerned, I'll never come back and I won't recommend eating there. Coffee is tasty and I haven't tasted cake yet. So I can't talk about it. When I had to pay, the person at the cash register said an amount and she did not give the change back. Because it was about a few cents (.75c), I didn't say anything, but above all I didn't want to make my client feel uncomfortable with complaints and whining about food, etc.

We like their initiative of donating money to women in need. We didn't like that upon our reservation, they decided to serve us the Petit High Tea (and they never asked us!). Food was nice, but it was a lot of sweet stuff, while we like more salty food (I was looking forward to the avocado sandwich). Atmosphere is also nice inside, but there was a huge scaffolding covering the whole building outside. Not very "gezellig", and they say nothing about it on the website.

We discovered this place wanting to go for brunch on Valentine’s Day. We truly had a great experience. The lady working there was very caring and funny. She treated us a heart shaped donut « on the house »!! The meal was very nice and everything was very aesthetically pleasing. Recommend !

Had a wonderful high tea here with two friends, from banana cake to macarons to fresh tuna salad, it was delicious. We each also got plenty of tea, which was also very tasty, in a cute little teapot! The owner was super hospitable and nice, we really enjoyed the atmosphere there! Definitely recommended for a high tea or lunch.

Wij hebben hier vandaag een high tea gedaan. Wat een leuk plekje! Bij mooi weer kun je heerlijk buiten zitten. De high tea was erg lekker! Oa bananenbrood, citroencake, scones, fudge, sandwiches enz. Dit allemaal vers gebakken door de eigenaresse, die trouwens ontzettend vriendelijk en gastvrij is! Hier gaan wij zeker vaker naar toe voor een ontbijtje, lunch of gewoon voor een koffietje! Absoluut een aanrader. Een pareltje op het westeinde.

Petite terrasse agréable en été, nous y sommes allez deux fois en une semaine et c'était très bien, pâtisseries très bonnes et accueil très agréable, ne mangez pas à l'intérieur il y fait trop chaud. Seul petit bémol, nous avons pris un ensemble de gâteaux avec un café la première fois (8€) et lors de notre second passage les gâteaux étaient tous coupés en deux, donc deux fois moins de gâteaux pour le même prix...

Lekker eten. Alles vers gemaakt en leuke en gezellige sfeer. Buiten kan je ook heerlijk zitten. De scones zijn mijn favoriet. :)

Lekker gegeten via Social deal. Ontbijtgerecht met zeer goede prijs-kwaliteit verhouding. Lekker bananenbrood met lekker veel fruit. De baksels zijn huisgemaakt. De koffie is ook lekker. Fijne tuin, met een vandaag een lekker zonnetje.

We zijn er met korting gaan eten maar het was echt super karig. Koffie was niet lekker. Banana pancakes kwamen van de supermarkt, de verpakking lag in de keuken en je zag het liggen. Ik kan er weinig positiefs over zeggen.

I would say the place is cozy and nice to sit and have coffee with cakes. The price is really reasonable especially for nowadays. The people are friendly. The cakes look good but i havent tried it yet! Would love to try other menus and visit again for sure 😊

Leuk klein zaakje, beetje verstopt. Eten goed maar niet bijzonder, sfeer goed, beetje woonkeuken gevoel. Jammer dat de tafeltjes niet na elke gast even worden schoongemaakt...

I’ve found that place via HappyCow and am so glad having a coffee there! Americano is very good and dirty chai latte has perfect taste for autumn/winter time. Recommend!
